  1. In some senses I feel it could perhaps be a reflection of the fact clubs have drifted towards fairly common set-ups. However, its something the QA team will take a look over and see if they're happy with the figures. A lot of this does come from the data side though, as researchers will set managers preferred formations based upon how they frequently line up.
  2. There are a lot of potential subjective factors to consider. Would you be able to share some pkm's of examples where you feel the player ought to be able to do this right away but isn't doing so? This would allow our QA to analyse it further and assess the logic players are following. Thanks for sharing this one, spent a bit of time working through a number of my own saves checking on the status of Leshabela and indeed he's playing games for South Africa but shows Bissau-Guinean nationality. A small positive in that it is a display/visual only issue rather than it actually resulting in players popping up in other national teams. Thanks for doing the extra work to identify what is causing it. QA will pick it up and see what needs doing.
  4. Hopefully this has since improved. As a separate thought, if its an issue locally for this person with their internet it may be worth suggesting they tether to their phone (if possible and their data allows for it) to try a different connection.
  5. Only the skin creator would be able to help with this one then, its not something we'd be able to do anything about I'm sorry. Hopefully they'll be able to help or get this sorted.
  6. This is still ultimately something being done to better reflect the rule changes over recent years. We appreciate people are unhappy with some elements, and it will be subject to further adjustments moving forward to get a better balance. As all subjective aspects of the game are. We're still only at a point where we'd be able to ask for individual examples from save games (before you try to sign the player) where we can jump in and take a look to help identify areas for further improvement. The reason to ask for save games with specific examples is to hopefully expedite and find as many areas to better balance as possible. It's an area in which you can help shape the process by providing tangible examples. Other than that then you would need to wait for the next update and we'll review feedback on it following that.
  7. It's an issue we're still working on at this time. I did mention in my last post that we do completely understand this is something that can break immersion.
  8. While there are reactionary elements to real world events throughout FM, we aren't looking to include some of the rather unpleasant realities of the world. While that may change some day at present the philosophy is that FM should be more of an escape from the more unfortunate elements of life and we're not looking to represent those in game.

We have had this suggestion before and its something we will keep in mind but aren't actively pursuing at this time, the FM series is very much supposed to be a chance for you to have your journey in the world of football. There is a question about if you take over such a manager and completely change everything about them in terms of approach, playstyle, man management etc is it even the case then that you're playing that manager?
  10. While I can't claim to understand the full ins and outs myself, while I know the GPU can be used for more traditional computational loads there would be a lot to consider on this front. Further optimisation for the series moving forward is something we'll always be considering. The reality is though that FM on most database set-ups would be unlikely to exert even an 8700k. FM typically has short bursts of processing requirements and for example on my own set-up which has a 5800X processor, its only putting a load on 6 cores and they don't reach 100% during most processing breaks.

  12. Improvements and better presentation in the match engine are something we do definitely endorse and are always looking at for improvements. We'll keep these suggestions in mind.
  13. While we can certainly understand why people would appreciate this from a technical perspective its not particularly viable given the changes that take place between versions. Thanks for taking the time to suggest this and its something for us to keep in mind should the situation change.
  14. It's a suggestion we do see from time to time, it's not a direction we've been looking to go in so far.
  15. How many continental spots do Hungary have in total? Based on our understanding of 4 spots (1 Champions League + 3 Conference League) then it would be correct it goes to 4th place. You would need to check your current in-game coefficients. You can see this if you go to: World (Globus) -> Europe -> Nation Club Coefficients/ Qualification places. If you still feel this is incorrect we would need your save game file to check into it further. A guide on how to share your save is available here:
  16. Thanks for sharing a screenshot and game save of the example you have @JumanoPrince This was the kind of thing we needed to investigate. Our QA team had taken a provisional look and were unable to get this to reproduce. While I do appreciate its a frustrating issue @HNLFan and I realise it may ruin your immersion in the game, this isn't something that we would regard as game breaking. It's definitely an issue we want to look into further, but just to help manage your expectations I would need to clarify that.

  22. If a player can be approached before a contract clause is triggered and they agree a new deal that would invalidate the triggering of the clause. It's unfortunate to lose the player in this situation, but it is correct.
  23. Our QA team will take a look over this, but at first glance I don't necessarily see too much amiss here. You can negotiate offers, and when players are unhappy you will be having the option to interact with them. Clubs are going to play to their strengths and away from the bigger leagues your players will be prime candidates for being unsettled. Particularly with such low wages. If you're not spending the time to identify & work on bringing in players from your fellow Finnish sides then this can result in them feeling comfortable making high demands. Identifying players a couple of windows in advance and playing the situation to your strength when contracts are expiring and building up pressure on the club to sell helps reduce prices enormously.
