Our QA team have taken a look into this and of the 6 games he could have played he's only started 2 and has played 37% of the available minutes. That isn't going to be anywhere near enough for a player who is in the star player categorically and so it would be correct that the player is unhappy in this situation. -

You're making that decision at a club level. This has no bearing on the decision a national team manager will make with their team and selection. It's the well established club vs country argument that has been persistent for years now.
