  1. Could we please get an option to forbid the assistant manager from adjusting our training schedule after fixture rearrangements? He usually does a terrible job and just makes it harder for you to fix the training schedule. Thanks for considering this request.
  2. If you're playing in Latvia, Croatia, Poland, Czech Republic and a number of similar leagues, your transfer windows end at a later date, usually after the registration deadlines for the continental competitions group stages/knockout rounds have passed. Currently, the players you're trying to sign don't take those deadlines into consideration when they're deciding on your contract offer and will happily take a day or two longer to make a decision than to play continental football for your club. It would be great if players would be aware of those deadlines while deciding on our offer or if we could, at least, have the option to remind them about said deadlines when we try to convince them to make an earlier decision. Thanks for reading this request.
  3. I'd like to suggest a few things that would improve the way preseason works in FM. 1. The first thing is to give the manager a chance to select when the preseason starts. I know the game sometimes does give you that option, but those dates are fixed and out of context. What I'm suggesting is to always have the option to pick a starting point of your preseason on your own, just like you can set reminders for your notes. This way, the player can enjoy the benefits, or suffer the consequences, of a longer/shorter preseason rather than the game just picking a random date that all too often doesn't give you enough time to prepare for the new season. It would also be helpful if the inbox item asking us to set the start of our preseason contained the dates when the club's competitions start. Even if you don't implement the first part of this request, it's always useful to know when does the league start and when is your team entering cup and international competitions before the preseason starts rather than having to wait for that information to become available during preseason when the league fixtures are drawn or the game creates the season that's about to start. 2. The second request is the option to control when players on international duty that miss the beginning of preseason join the team. I don't want to see my players a day after they played their last match on an international competition at training, I want an inbox item that notifies me immediately after that match that the player has been knocked out of the competition/has played his last match. That item should also prompt me to manually choose when the player will join the team. Additionally, if, for example, I choose that one such player joins the team only a few days before the first match of the season, which means that he's missed the whole preseason, I should be able to force the player to undergo an indivudual set of preseason training for a week or two, during which he doesn't participate in the first few matches of a season. This would prevent players that miss the preseason from being too prone to jadedness and fatigue in the new season. 3. And the last thing are training camps. Since training camps aren't only a way of avoiding unfavourable weather conditions during preseason, every club that is at least semi-professional and isn't financially in ruins should have the option of going on a winter/summer training camp. Depending on the money the club has, the player could choose between a number of local, regional, national or foreign resorts. Those camps could also have a star rating of their own. The more stars the resort has, the better the facilities are and, subsequently, the better the clubs are that are available to play friendlies with at that resort. The price of the training camp would also increase with every half a star more the resort has and the amount of players could also influence the total cost of the trip. Also, just like with the preseason, the player should be able to set the start and end date of the training camp on his own. It would also be useful if we could ask players on international duty/extended holiday to join the training camp at a later date. If I recall correctly, that wasn't possible on FM20 and that just doesn't make any sense. Another interesting training camp option would be the ability to send a player home to train with the B/youth team if you're unhappy with his conduct. That should, of course, come with the risk of making the player or the rest of the squad concerned/unhappy, but it would be an option that would allow the manager to assert himself and put pressure on the player to drop his concern. Thanks for considering this request.
  4. When your senior team and a youth/B team play a match on the same day and the senior team is the first team to play, all your first team players become unavailable for the B/youth team match, even though you haven't picked them for the senior team and have made them available for the youth/B team match. This should be changed because it unnecessarily complicates squad management. Either only senior team starters and benched players on the tactics screen should get unavailable for the other match, or players made available for the youth/B team match should automatically become unavailable for the senior team. Thanks for considering this request.
  5. One of the few things that are immersion-breaking for me is having 10 clubs interested in one of my players in March, but not making a bid until July because that's when their transfer window opens. It would be great if clubs would start making "unsolicitated" transfer and loan offers outside of their transfer window. That would make the game feel much more dynamic because you would be forced to deal with transfers and possibly unhappy players all year round, which adds to realism. Thanks for considering this request.
  6. A small thing that adds to realism - giving a yellow card after the ref's played advantage. Thanks for considering this request.
  7. As the title says, I'd like to have the option to sub off a player that got sent off in a friendly. That's standard practice in friendlies and it would be great if it gets included. Thanks for considering this suggestion.
  8. I've just held unsuccessful contract extension talks with a player and decided to decrease his playing time to "Surplus to requirements" because he values himself way too much and I'll have to let him leave as a free agent. After he became concerned about his playing time, I noticed that none of the options given in the chat fit the context. It would be great if we could tell players that we're not planning on playing them/giving them desired playing time unless they agree to sign a new contract on reasonable terms. The player's reply could then either be disagreement or a promise that he'll agree to lower his contract demands. Here are a few suggestions for the new chat options: "After our last unsuccessful contract extension talks, it became apparent that we cannot come to an agreement on the terms of your new contract. Therefore, you will leave the club at the end of your current contrat and I cannot justify giving you the playing time you want." "Since there's only a short time left on your current contract and you are not willing to agree to the terms we have offered to you in your new contract, I cannot give you the playing time you want as you'll leave the club in the near future as a free agent." "Unless you agree to sign a reasonable contract with us, I will not play you and you'll leave the club when you contract ends." "Unless you agree to sign a reasonable contract with us, I will not play you and will be looking to sell you in the near future." Thank you for considering this suggestion.
