  1. Not everyone knows how to use the pre-game editor to change rules/laws in the game and there is a big chance the option of removing it be prevented by having it hardcoded into the game like they did with brexit. Now what I don't understand is the people complaining about it being exploitive as if they are playing a 2-player game whereby they are playing against opponents who hoard an army of wonderkids to beat their team week in week out. There's many socalled exploits on the game, all you have to do is choose not to use it. Right now if I wanted to I could add another manager of a big team with unlimited funds, use them to buy all the deadwood off my own team for ridiculous sums and make my club rich. I wouldn't see they should remove the option of adding another manager because it's not realistic and it's exploitive. And I'm not even arguing that it should be allowed to be exploited, but in it's current form the game is unrealistic as you can't sign or poach a 16 year olds newgens outside your region
  2. Yes please speed up the cup draws, otherwise what is the point? No one is going to sit through 6 minutes looking at the clock timer waiting for the next team to be drawn or have the choice of manually clicking through each team which leaves no room any anticipation. Bring back the old automatic draw thingy
  3. The boy came through your academy. If he's outside your academy and not in the same region it's impossible to sign a 16-17 year old on football manager 2023. Thats not realistic because we see european clubs poach 15-16 year old players all the time. I'll name some of them Garnacho Hannibal Adam Aznou Vininistus Junior Jude Bellingham Gabriel Martinelli Cesc Fabregas The list goes on and on And right now there are teams lining up who are trying to sign 16 year old Endrick.
  4. One example doesn't mean there is not an overall issue with signing 16 year olds. How many more have you successfully signed? I signed one 17 year old, doesn't mean anything. The majority will not be interested and other users have reported the same problem
  5. Yeah I've managed to sign a 17 year old, but 16 year olds unless they're from the same country they are not interested even when they are within the EU. I'm not being funny but I've uploaded the save, there's reports of other users having extreme difficulties with signing youngsters, there's not much more investigation I can do as I'm not being paid to go the extra mile and source out every player who I think is bugged. If SI don't want to fix the issue once the full game is released I will find a way around it through modification, just hope for the sake of other users it gets resolved either way.
  6. I uploaded a save to soundclound and named in it in the thread is that right?
  7. Just uploaded a save file called 'NewgenYouth uninterested.fm' in the soundcloud uploader Problem is 95% of 16-17 year will simply say they are uninterested or say their age makes it difficult for them to move
  8. If people are going to be condescending and come out with statements like ''if you don't like rules, then maybe the game isn't for you'' then you can't be suprised if they get called out for being patronising. Things like that really add nothing of value to a discussion
  9. How do you know this, did you code the game? Second sentence about the game not being for me, why are you behaving like this has been a long standing rule in the game? If there new rules it needs to be speficified. When you go to bid for a player and you speak to the agent about a possible transfer, the agent explains why the player isn't interested. The agent doesn't just say the client is ''uninterested'' and then we use our imaginations to cococt up reasons why they ARE not be interested. And you are wrong it's not reality, as proven by the examples I've listed and other posters mentioned of players moving when they were 15-16 years old in real life. Do you want me to go through them with you? Since you arrogantly have it in your head that your opinion is reality where by every single 15-16 year old on a video game should not be able to be transfered or poached.
  10. thats an entirely different issue than a 16 year being completely uninterested in a move. If work permit issues are the problem then it should be outlined not ''player is not interested'', it's bs and the same about it being exploiting, like someone else said it's a single player game, people should be free to choose how they wish to play the game. No one is forcing anyone to sign armies of regens if they find it unrealistic
  11. You think that's bad! How many years have the pitch, stadium filler with burger van, ambulance and minecraft level brick walls graphics as well as player interaction limimations been left untouched? The stadium and grass texture is a disgrace to 2023 level gaming, no wonder Zealand felt the need to speak out.
  12. If they have long term injuries they never complain, it was the same on fm22, which makes sense since they won't be fit to start any games. I have had 4 players complain about not getting enough starts and was a theme on fm22 where if you wish to rotate/rest players, even squad players start complaining about playing time.
  13. It's madness. I've played 14 league games, my first teamer has played 15 games in all comps and is now complaining about not enough starts and now puts in a transfer request.
  14. Players still complaining too much about game time even when they're started majority of games. I would have expected player unhappiness to be more balanced but doesn't seem like it's been worked on.
  15. Maybe they were devastated SI didn't make the most of working on set pieces for FM23.
  16. There's already skins that are made that hide pa completely if that's what you want.
  17. Yeah it's very prevalent with wingers and it's very frustrating to watch as they did it in fm22 which I hoped they'd have fixed to some degree to make them more intelligent instead of dwelling on the ball waiting for defenders to catch up with them, or cutting back unneccesarily when there is a simple square pass to make in the box for an unmarked team mate. I can overlook the lack of dribbling with flair players, but it's incredibily hard to overlook wingers continuously making stupid unrealistic decisions that no top pro would make in real life There use to be and needs to be brought back an option for individual players instructions to whip in crosses first time
  18. Anyone else notice the annoying tendancy for fullbacks and wingers when there is a free man in the box instead of crossing it in straight away they turn/cutback and wait for defenders to swarm the box before crossing it in?
  19. Well I usually play with no sound due to the generic sound in the game, so listening to commentary along with chants is better than nothing. And the full pack you don't get repeated lines You can find the no commentary patch for fm21 on the same website it's still there but doubt it will work on fm23 without crashing the game.
  20. Has automatic draw gone? Is it now the option to skip or keep clicking until the next team is drawn?
  21. don't think think, there use to be one with just chants for older fm versions but now they only do commentary packs
  22. Just got home and installed the audio mod pack and it's unbelivable difference it makes to hear the ball ripping the net, stadium announcer and the crowd having chants along with actual voice commentary. Why can't this be standard in the game?
