  1. jrobertgordon13 Cheadle Heath Nomads HIRING Profile - Team Hiring So I got hired as the manager of Cheadle Heath Nomads, We'll see how I'll do (aka terribly)
  2. 2022/23 RECAP - NON EUROPEAN JOURNEYMAN - CITY ROVERS FC League Table - Squad - Transfers This season was great. Mostly, that is. A lot of players had to be sold manly due to them wanting more playing time. All of those players were either bad or just wouldn't fit in to my tactic. Therefore, their were a lot of transfers out this season. However, as you hopefully saw, the season saw us get automatically promoted up to the South African Premier Division. Here are some highlights from that season. HIGHLIGHTS: The entire season (record-wise, anyway) was basically a highlight, we were at one point even ten points above the next best team while being in first place. However, by the last game we were only up by one point as we hadn't won our last three games. However, we handled business against Tshakuma and would end up winning the South African First Division. Along with that, we would end up going all the way to the South African Cup Semi Finals and would only lose 2-1 to Kaiser Chiefs. Anyway. Here are the best players from that season: Lerato Lamola - Best Striker, Player of the Season Nation Ndlovu - Best Midfielder Felipe Camargo - Best Defender LOWLIGHTS: As I already mentioned, the season saw Tommy McGrath (the manager) have a lot of players leave because of playing time. Their really isn't much else I could say here except for maybe the three-in-a-row winless games, but every team has their bad moments, just ours was at the end and we nearly had to go into the playoff system. HISTORY SO FAR: 2022/23 - 1st Place, Promoted to the South African Premier Division, L South African Cup Semi Finals vs Kaiser Chiefs
  3. Platinum City Rovers: A Club Background Platinum City Rovers are a team that only recently got promoted up. They got promoted to the South African National First Division in the 2020-21 season from the SAFA Second Division. Not much else is known about the team. I couldn't find much on Wikipedia about them and on FM23 they have no foundation date. However now, they have signed former Crusaders FC player (from another FM save I did) Tommy McGrath to a two year contract to be the manager of City Rovers. To most people, he seems very ambitious with goals of one day getting City Rovers to the top division and eventually winning it. It is yet to be seen if he can fill up their trophy cabinet.
  4. I'm going to restart this save on FM23 Touch because I feel like that game is faster and will help me complete this faster as a result
  5. KAPOSVAR - SEASON 1 RECAP - 2023/24 Manager Profile (Named Robert Carlsson btw) - League Table - Transfers (They were all basically Youth Intake Players) HIGHLIGHTS: We had some incredible luck this season. I mean, it has to be luck! We got promoted in our first season! Is this probably gonna bite me back? Probably. Do I care? Not really. This season we ended up winning the Hungarian Division II with the help of a great defense. Even when we only scored one goal, we would end up winning just because of out defense. Now I will show you the players that performed the best: Gabor Puskas (Best Average rating & defender) Akos Borbely (Best Striker) David Zvara (Best Midfielder) LOWLIGHTS: Our Youth Intake was really the one lowlight of the season, the best player only had three star potential. We were promised a great Youth Intake btw, forgot to take a screenshot of it though. Here are some of the "Highlights" from that terrible intake Roland Gergely Noel Kiss Peter Erdei HISTORY SO FAR: 2023/24 - 1st Place, Promoted to Hungarian Division I, L Cup Third Round against Senyo NOTES: Im Using FM23 Touch, so things might not seem right. Any rule I break is going to be because of the limitations of FM23 Touch. Also, the reason why there are transfers is because I offered all the Youth Intake player's contracts while they were on trial, and the game released them before they could sign. Lastly, I forgot to post the manager profile screen because I had already started the save and didn't know about that rule until it was too late.
  6. Does anyone know how to get the image link over the text? Basically when it looks like this
  7. Here I go with Gainsborough Trinity! I used one of the Holiday Saves by G_D_K just incase you wanted to know.
  8. Resources Capital FC: A Club Background Resources Capital were founded in 1982 as Tai Chung Football Club. In 2009-11, the club played in the first tier of Hong Kong football. After their relegation, they played in the second tier which at the time was an amateur league. However, for the 2021-22 season Resources Capital were promoted up to the Honk Kong Premier League by the Hong Kong FA and in that season finished dead last in the Hong Kong Premier League. With not much history, it is time to see if I can fill up Resources Capital's trophy cabinet.
  9. For my first team in my save, we got three offers, Dunedin City, Resources Capital, and North Wellington. I ended up signing with...
  10. We've all probably done a European Journeyman in the past... But what about the exact opposite, A Non-European Journeyman? Well, that's what this is! The Aim: To win all the Champions Leagues outside of Europe along with winning the Club World Cup. The Available Nations: Any nation in North America, South America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania can be used. If you want an extra challenge, use only the leagues SI gives you along with New Zealand as you need at least one league in Oceania (unless your on FM23 Touch) Rules for the Challenge: Your manager must have no experience (aka No Coaching Badges and Sunday League Footballer) You must start unemployed No use of the In-Game editor or any other type of save editor. If you want to manage an International Team, it cannot be from Europe either Rules for the Challenge (on FM23 Touch): You must start off unemployed You must have one league in South America, one league in North America, one league in Africa (basically just South Africa), one league in Asia (that is not the A-League), and the A-League To complete the Oceania part, you must win the A-League with Wellington Phoenix (The A-League team in New Zealand), thus why you must load the A League. Once again, if you want to manage an International Team, it must be outside of Europe. Rules for the Thread: Screenshots are heavily encouraged Progress of your club should be documented through this thread, even if your not performing as you wished. Here are some things that are required to show in this thread: Squad League Table Transfers Anything else you wish to show If there is anything I missed please let me know. Good luck to everyone and hope you enjoy this challenge!
