  1. I have to admit, I was expecting something a little more unbelievable, I feel let down...
  2. I'm not one of those people being triggered because I understand its not a finished game, it's as you say "screenshots". I'd rather judge the finished article personally. I only quoted you because I felt you didn't understand what is was that they'd put put there.
  3. Just throwing my thoughts out there, but maybe they're looking to broaden their target audience? It would be foolish to think every FM player is male, not that im insinuating those are your thoughts. Personally it doesn't interest me, but you can't deny the growth of the women's game in recent years, so again it would be foolish for SI to overlook that, which they haven't.
  4. I'd consider a leak as something that they didn't want to get out, where as this has been intentionally put out there for people to look at. Here is a direct quote from the information we were given... Today, however, I want to tell you about Football Manager 25 [PC/Mac], Football Manager 25 Console [Xbox One/S/X & PlayStation 5]. More news on Football Manager 25 Touch and Football Manager 25 Mobile will follow later in the cycle.
  5. If you read properly, they explained why they removed certain features from fm25 and it makes sense. It would be very silly to assume that they would make the game cheaper... they won't have taken the decision lightly and if it allows time to work on more important stuff, personally I welcome the decision.
  6. Definitely wrong thread, but just so you're aware, not everything is about the tactic you use, so it most probably does make sense if that's all you're focused on.
  7. Don't get too excited about Aston villa, Leicester City should be a very good example of what to expect. Ironically Leicester had a very pacy player at the time.
  8. Yeah definitely, you'd need to immerse yourself into every scrap of detail the game has to offer, so you feel like you're really managing the club properly, which would include proper use of the scouting system.
  9. No worries, I just know that you're much more likely to find help there and the mods will probably either close this thread or move it.
  10. You'd be better off asking in the editors forum
  11. I'd be amazed if you found anyone who actually stuck to doing this kind of save. I can see it being fun to an extent if you followed the same team in real life and you had the real fixtures, but to go any further than season 1 would be in my eyes really boring. Good luck though.
  12. No problem, I just thought that because you had quoted me. You're probably right though, it's best left at that, back on topic
  13. I didnt criticise your views... why would you assume this? I was merely pointing out that each individual has different needs to enjoy something and you are right as well about the approach and that is why I said it would probably never happen. Just because I like the idea of something, that doesn't mean that my idea is the right approach.
  14. It does exist in some forms, but it probably won't ever happen in a proper way on football manager. In other games there are difficulty levels to the AI and that would satisfy the needs for all to escape from reality how they want to escape. One person's escape isn't another person's escape because we're all different. However, for now we have to create our own difficulty levels in how we play the game.
  15. How do you guys play, do you watch every single game or do you sim through at a quicker pace and watch some, or just sim everything?
  16. As I said, take your attitude somewhere else. Everybody has the right to post here just as much as you do. If I want to run experiments and share it with people, who are you to tell me otherwise. I see you in many threads with the same attitude, like you're above everyone here. Feel free to quote me again but just know you will be wasting your time as I won't be replying further.
  17. I never once asked SI to use my test. I did the tests through my own curiosity to see what would actually happen and decided to share it with others, so take your attitude somewhere else.
  18. I already agreed that the original test was too influenced. The test that we are now talking about was compiled of player chosen totally at random, regardless of their physicals. I used the training function in game to increase their physicals. The players in question could have been considered unrealistic if they were actually improving as their PA was relatively high, but considering they barely improved at all and most only improved slightly in the first season, I'd argue that it's not unrealistic and that is why I would say that this can be done without the use of an editor.
  19. The test itself - unrealistic (through the use of an editor) The test itself - can also be replicated in a realistic manner Correct me if I'm wrong but you're saying no human would ever assemble a team of pacey players?
  20. The only thing it would prove is the doubters wrong, I have to decide whether I care enough to do that and I probably don't. Doubters will be doubters, they will be sceptical because it doesn't fit their narrative and they will be stubborn, so it's pretty much pointless. I never really looked into it much as my interest in the game faltered in recent years, whilst before that I just wanted to play, but I'm once again enjoying FM since FM24 was released and these things peak my interest more than before.
  21. Crewe United - Season One I couldn't have hoped for much more for season one, having very mixed results all round, but better than expected. Our performances in the cup competitions left much to be desired, but survival in the league was of utmost importance. As I was told by a fellow Crewe United manager (neo_geo) Jack Sharvin was going to be my survival tool and he definitely proved as much. Youth Candidates & Youth Intake As previously posted, our upcoming youth intake was being classed as a real golden age, something which was a big surprise for me and very good news for the challenge ahead. The idea for the coming season will be to take the plunge and remove most of the normal players, except the select few who performed well such as Jack Sharvin. This will allow the youth prospects to show me what they're made of and despite the obvious risks, I feel this is the whole point of a save like this. 3 Top Rated Youth Players & Transfers In + Out There's nothing special here, but with them being touted as having top potential, it will be good to see how they grow! League Table & Finances The finances are a concern and I can't see how they will get any better in the short term. The chairman is looking to sell which is a concern as well, especially considering one of the recent news articles where it was mentioned the person coming in would look to replace me! Thankfully that takeover went to sea and never came back! What they thought...
  22. Keep plugging away! At least in my eyes your not in a relegation fight because 9 points is a big difference at the bottom of the league.
  23. Promising news for my first ever intake! Lets hope it becomes a reality!
  24. If you use the editor in any way shape or form, they won't agree with you. I have half a mind to just assemble a squad in the proper way to prove a point.
