Thanks for the suggestions, I will add them to the list and I agree I need to get in some players from outside the top European countries, Uruguay for instance as they were big back in the 1930's. Yes I will look to add some in for the next update, if you have any specific suggestions, feel free to post them and I'll add them to the list.

Version 4.0 Update Imminent! Version 4.0 Current Progress: 97 / 100 % The list is almost complete and the update could be released within the next 24 hours! It has been a lot of work, but it feels great to have almost reached the end of this long awaited update!

At the moment my full focus is on version 4.0 as it's a lot of work, but there's no harm in listing players you'd like to see, I can always look back after the release.

If you had read my latest posts you would realise that is something that I'm addressing for version 4.0

Don't worry, version 4.0 definitely won't be the final version. What I change now can easily be changed later upon feedback. I do plan to do even more current players in the future as well, so we will see how that goes. There will still be plenty of 190+ players as well, just nowhere near as many as there are right now.

Up to date info on version 4.0 Good news and bad news! Starting with the bad news, unfortunately version 4.0 wont be available for a while! This is because I'm undertaking a mammoth task to bring out the best version yet! Onto the good news... Here is an up to date list of what will be new on version 4.0! 50+ New Players Player club history (up until their age in game) International Caps + Club Appearances and Goals (up until their age in game) Revised Current Ability (Lowering current abilities to a more realistic value) Revised Potential Ability (Rather than clogging up the game with players that have 190-200 CA, only the real special players will have 190+ CA) At first I was only going to add Club History and now we have all this, but I feel it's a good decision to do it all now as in the long run it will save me a lot of time, which I can be spending on adding players to the database.

I suppose its down to personal preference, but most people want the first option, so that's the only reason I'm going in that direction. I suppose in a way it makes sense to do it this way considering the idea behind club placement for the players.

Thats the direction I'm going with, there has only been one person who chose the other. Version 4.0 will take a while though, its going to he very time consuming.

Extinct, I used the Ireland 1922 one, although unless I'm missing something, forgive me if I am, but it doesn't make a difference?

I started creating a Nation myself for the first time, complete novice at it to be honest. I personally found it a lot easier to have the FM23 editor open with England as my mirror for something to go off. My nation was Yorkshire, so I was taking a lot of clubs out of England. What I decided to do with that was work my way from the Premier League down to the Conference North/South, relegating the teams I intended to move to Yorkshire and promoting from the league below with the club that had the highest reputation. Once I got to the Conference North/South I promoted clubs from the leagues that aren't playable. Something else which I had to do was filter out towns and cities that were from Yorkshire and actually change their Nation to Yorkshire. That was all the easier stuff though, just time consuming. I've managed to create a league system which works, but I feel the cup competitions are much more difficult to sus out. One day I will finish the project, but as people in here have said, it takes time!

It shouldn't change anything, the data is edited so it should just stay that way regardless of whether you have it weekly or annually.
