I was trying to use the Resource Archive to do something for a side project and I've ended up having to re-install FM24 after deleting everything haha! Luckily I've figured out where I went wrong and have actually done what I aimed to do

The list of 95 is the players which I've completed and other than adding to the Facepack are ready to go for the update. I already had a big list of players before any suggestions, the next update will cater more towards suggestions.

I simmed through with my legends, works perfectly from what I can tell. I've now added it to my official post at the bottom.

I just wanted to point out some brilliant work done by \'Appy \'Ammer I definitely think this would go along very well with the legends database, bringing back some real old school vibes!

I love it! This will go well with my legends database once I complete it I'll add a link on my thread to this in case people want to use your mod.

Not every player starts as 15 - 16, the older the person in real life, the older they will be in game. When im done with the database, if there's enough interest I may provide an alternative where all start as 15-16, but we will see.

At the moment no, as it is already time consuming to make just a single player, I think it best to complete the database first to an extent. Once I'm satisfied I do plan to go back through everything and fine tune it, so for added realism I think what you've mentioned would be a great addition.

You're the second person to mention this and both of you are using sortitoutsi megapack. I'd assume it's because they aren't compatible together. The problem is I've never used their megapack, so I don't really know what it consists of and what might cause the issue. For now it's up to you how you deal with it as all my time goes into updating the database and facepack. Later down the line when I have more time, I will install the sortitoutsi megapack and see what I can figure out, maybe speak with them to collaborate maybe, to make it Legend friendly.

The problem is most people won't want to or just don't know how to do it and considering it takes a lot of time and effort to make, if very few people would use it, it's a bit of a waste of time which could be better spent improving the database.

Yeah it's how I'd already decided to do it, I just like to explore all options. I do like the future_regen idea, but it just doesn't work with facepacks, so it's a no go

Having simmed through a couple of times, I've determined that the ID changes per save, so adding a facepack would be impossible unfortunately. I could add one for my own save, but it wouldn't tally up with other peoples saves. I already planned to have them edited as you say, starting age 14 & 15. In fact I already created a database with Argentina edited... Argentina Present & Future Legends.fmf I did it exactly as you stated it should be done.

Important Question What are peoples thoughts on using Future_regen edt file for adding Current and Future legends to the database? I've had a little play around and although it hasn't worked exactly how I intended, I have managed to add Lionel Messi as a future regen. With a little more investigation, I should be able to get the file correct. Also, I'm wondering if it's possible to add a facepack for the generated players or not. I'm going to do a quick test to determine if their ID comes through as the same in every save. Here's a picture...

Haha, don't worry I'll be adding plenty from those countries that don't seem to be represented yet, this database is only in its early days that's for sure. The reason it turned out this way is because until last week, I was building the database differently. I was doing individual nation databases and starting out with the big European Nations along with Brazil and Argentina for obvious reasons. However, now I'm literally just adding any legend from any Nation starting with the biggest names from history according to wikipedia. Don't worry Higuita will be with us soon, I might even add his name onto the end of my current list These players will definitely be added when possible, I believe I already added Roger Milla because I remember reading about his surname, with many calling him Miller or something like that. That's the beauty of building this database, I learn useless information about players who I may not necessarily know anything about Feel free to post your thoughts on players to be added, I have no problem with it. If anything it gives me a little bit of help with who to add next. It is true though that adding 20 players is not easy, it's very time consuming, especially when I work 45 hours a week and have a wife, I'm sure I don't need to say anything other than wife for you to understand that problems with that haha. I build this database literally in my spare time. The older a player in real life, the harder it is to add them to the game as well, due to the lack of information on them and I sometimes feel a bit silly just adding random stats in for them, but what can you do! I think the best thing to do is add almost all the players I want to add and then go back through the database, doing some heavier research into individuals and update their stats that way. Obviously the opinions of the people who use the database will help also, that's why I posted on the SI forums. That isn't something which I'm familiar with, I'm pretty novice when it comes to editing databases in fairness. However, I had no idea how to make facepacks until I tried it, so I may actually try future_regen. If I do, I'll most likely use it to bring through current players from the database along with future legends, I think that would add a massive dimension to this database. I could just delete players like Messi and Ronaldo etc in the editor then, rather than doing what I'd planned.

32 New legends added! Facepack Included! I have been working on adding several new legends to the database, moving away from adding Nation by Nation and instead just adding players that come to mind.
