  1. Scotland had bugs with U18 teams last year (iirc you couldn't demote a player to an U18 team). I've definitely been able to ask for U18/reserve teams before at clubs - but I can't speak specifically for the club you're at. The reality is the game isn't designed to be played the way we play it, taking charge of unplayable teams .
  2. You don't actually have an U18s team as Redditch. There might be a player in there but you cant view the squad because the squad doesn't exist. If you've moved the player out you're all good.
  3. Let me know how your finances in Italy go. I'm losing £150k a month, mostly to 'non-footballing costs' and get about 800 fans per game - which seems mad for a 'fallen giant', Not sure if it's bugged.
  4. Is there no way, during a match, to disable the option for a player with 2 goals to take penalties? I can see the tickbox in the main Tactics > Penalties panel, but cannot see how to uncheck it during a match. And yes, my 7 Penalty Taking winger just scuffed one when he was on 2 goals, to cost us the game.
  5. Welp - first attempt was an utter disaster. Won 1 game in 18. So, in the words of Monty Python, and now for something completely different. You may better know this club as Reggina, a club that's had a rather tumultuous decade after being declared bankrupt in 2015 - changed their name 3 times in 4 years, and then finally getting kicked out of the 2nd tier for financial irregularities. Reggina had a spell of 7 consecutive top flight football between 2003-2009, so it's time to get them back. 27543 capacity stadium, Adequate facilities, I love clubs like this.
  6. All the teams in that league are half a star, that's not an accurate way to gauge rep. Basically, reputation is a number from 1-10000. Until we get the pre-game editor, we can't see the reputations. However, Hashtag will be low. The team I usually aim for has a reputation of around 1800 and that usually takes about 20 attempts. Honestly, for Hashtag, you're looking at 1/1000 chance, maybe lower. The higher reputation clubs are heavily favoured (there are one's you'll almost always see).
  7. Same here. Played 12, lost 10, drew 2. Going to have to start a new save and chalk this down to experience.
  8. As in getting a specific team promoted? It's entirely reputation driven. The higher the club's rep, the more chance of getting promoted.
  9. The Macclesfield phoenix club is able to get promoted to the National League North now. Juicy option for anyone interested.
  10. This issue has been also present in previous FMs, I cannot remember when it started, but at some point over the last few years I stopped being able to get my favourite German club (FSV Frankfurt) promoted to a playable league. State what you think is specifically wrong in your league When advancing to the beginning of season 2 (20/06/24) in Germany, four teams are promoted to the 3. Liga from the five Regionalliga divisions below. The game selects one team each from the Northeast, North, South and Bayern but never from the Southwest. Even by saving before the point in which the game "locks in" the teams to be promoted (I saved on 27/05/24) , a Southwest team will never, ever get promoted. State how you think it should be working. Each regionalliga division should have an equal % chance to get one of the four promotion places, with one division missing out. State reasons/proof for your corrections/improvements. IRL, three teams get automatic promotion from the Regionalliga and two others play in a play-off. This is obviously far too convoluted for an unplayable lower league, but it would enhance realism in allowing Southwest teams to get promoted and not condemn teams in that area of Germany to obscurity if they drop out of the 3. Liga. To recreate, advance on the save to June 20th multiple times.
  11. @XaW Ty to the mods for letting this thread stay up. Can't speak for everyone, but I feel this thread means a lot to a lot of people. Really hope we can do the same again next year.
  12. Probably because that sets a precedent in terms of future beta releases. If they come out and said "it's not today", then every single day next year from October 1st onwards there will be screeching herds on twitter/reddit/here/steam demanding to know.
  13. Even if Epic get it right, it doesn't necessarily mean they knew. They could have guessed and got it correct.
