Fair enough, yeah I get that it’s all down to personal preference and play style, I’ve just always avoided adding extra players as I was wary of knock on effects. -

Does this not impact the transfer market though? I’ve always understood it as if there’s too many players versus “active” clubs it means there is a surplus of stock and players end up retiring early due to not having clubs as well as lowering the transfer values. -
I heard it’s because one time he came on here and you had written a post and because you didn’t write the word Watford in it, he blacklisted you for life.

Yeah. Don’t disagree I would have thought a tab in the transfer centre labelled “job applications” would do the trick.

I don’t think you can anymore. Best bet is just to re-advertise it, and within a few days you should get either the same ones back or some new ones. Alternatively just do a staff search filtered by U18 interest, that tends to get better quality staff anyway.

Buying a player for his favourite club.

He also lists Sporting as a favourite club though, so that creates a conflict. I don’t know if there’s a priority structure for favourites (as in being a player out ranks a supporter) but it may be that the favoured club ranking for Sporting is higher than his ranking for Porto. -

To be fair, I experienced this on 23 after a patch. After a break from the game to get over the frustration and some adjustments to a couple of things I got it back though, even went on to have an undefeated league season the season after. My conclusion was that I’d accidentally stumbled on a midfield combination that shouldn’t have worked but for some reason was working in the older ME version. I can understand the frustration, but in the strive for constant improvement of the ME, these things are going to happen. Not to everyone, and not every update. Variety is the spice of life.
