  1. The first 6 are all 6 games for group A (I'd go into the group A matchday 1, and set an offset date using the first two group A fixture dates, for example). In your screenshot it looked like you had 26+ fixtures but only using three separate dates
  2. That does look a little unnecessarily complicated, you can use one fixture per date and then the offset dates for each fixture date don't even have to correspond to "fixture dates" themselves. If you can get a hold of the default rules for something like the World Cup or Copa America take a look at how they do it
  3. The text in the editor makes sense 95% of the time, for example that "a match on this matchday is moved for each fixture date" is already answering your question
  4. then leave it blank and stadium_0 will automatically be the biggest stadium that fits that competition's requirements (if none, it will build like "(city name) Community Arena"), and so on
  5. Yes, keep adding, first stadium will be stadium_0 for that year (or every year if no year selected), second will be stadium_1, etc
  6. Ohh OK those "grounds for match" should then correspond to stadium_0, stadium_1, etc. that you have the option of using with each fixture date/offset date
  7. There should still be "stadiums for fixture" or something on a "stadium" or "host nation" section further down, no? @Dave Fairbairn was the stadium guru on here for ages and that was dating back to even older versions than FM17
  8. Thanks to these Argentine lads for the shout-out on Twitter
  9. That's the ticket. If they come in at a later stage you can either use qualified teams (removing qualified teams as you pick them) or use "ignore teams" for that seeding in the early rounds
  10. Last winner and last runner-up are being called though? If so, then maybe "last third place" can't contemplate more than one team. What about using qualifying rules and that box for "this year" or "next year" or whatever it says (check/uncheck as needed)
  11. If there's a stadium clash it usually delays a fixture 1 week by default. Is there any error showing up on testing? Crashing makes me wonder if it can't draw the teams its looking for
  12. I think the AFC website said something about 2 going straight down, and 3rd last going into a playoff with the Second Division champion. So between 2 and 3 teams relegated (depending on the playoff outcome), and between 0 and 1 teams promoted in the first year. I swore there was talk about it happening more gradually but I might have misread things back in November EDIT: Just updated the link with the change to 10 teams happening next season instead of the one after. It's getting all 27 games in, just a little tight, so I ended the 2023/24 season a week or two later than before
  13. Yeah, you can see on the "rules" screen who gets what, but that's correct (might just be two Europa Conf. spots in the first year, can't recall offhand without checking. In which case the cup winner would take the last spot)
  14. That works, but CONCACAF is so weird that messing with the league structure will likely cause knock-on effects elsewhere. MLS/LMX All-Star Game for one, they might draw from specific stage numbers, or the draft order (all might be editable this year though)
  15. Ahh yeah it might be broken this year. Does it work in the default Euros? Maybe look at their advanced rules
  16. If there's no third place game, could you just use get last winner, get last runner-up, and get last third-place team (max teams 2)? If the two losing finalists have the correct ranking (2 in this case, or third overall) it might call them both? Then do the same thing in the earlier round but "ignore teams"
  17. Dates and "break periods" sound like they might help there
  18. FYI Canada is a weird one. For one of their spots you might want to go "get last winner" for the Canadian Championship (FA cup which includes the 3 MLS teams). US and Mexico might throw up weird qualifiers too, they were always hardcoded in a weird way for continental comps. "Get last winner"s for MLS Cup, Open Cup, and the two conferences (with get last runner-up as backup checked) might be better for the US, and something similar for Mexico's opening/closing. Brilliant work though, looks great.
  19. Hmm you know the Gulf Times article (which I can only find the cached version of) supports what you're saying. But I swear I saw some official documentation somewhere about the more gradual switch. I'll keep looking for some harder evidence Edit: This says 10 next season too. It was due for an update anyway now that the World Cup dust has settled and they're releasing more fixture dates. I'll fix it this weekend
  20. If you post more details about your request in here Someone will take a look at it
  21. What do you mean? Like rejigging the schedules? There are modmakers here who have made it so the new format never shows up, if that's what you in re looking for. Either way I'm always hesitant to touch default competitions until after the last update. Half the time either SI will fix it themselves or do some weird tweak that renders all your work unusable
  22. I should add you need at least one Sammarinese player in the playing 11. Shouldn't be too hard, but just in case you were hoping to load the roster with only EU players! Also, I think the only reference to the extra "San Marino (natural-born)" nationality is in the competition rules screen now, works fine there
  23. CSL is still there in the background as an inactive league, obviously up-to-date data isn't as important for one like that (not sure if they're still unsanctioned but they occasionally get some decent ex-pros in)
