Yes, it is a bug. I said so in my reply. I said it is not an Editor bug. It is a bug for the Greek competition section.

Please check the editors hideaway for a temporary workaround which will help you out until the issue is fixed.

And the matchday preferences overrides the fixture dates?

It would a sort of great equaliser.

I split up the American continental club cups into level 1 which is all over the Americas, while at level 2 is regional. In Europe every European continental club cup will be played by each European nation. In Asia I have to pick whether all nations deliver teams for the level 1 Asian continenal club cup, but based on financials and distances I will likely put in the east/west split that is in real life as well.

While working through the Iron Curtain, I am happy to see I am having all kind of new ideas for this project. Europe and Asia are slowly taking shape, although I need to finalize and work all intertwined history stuff. Some of the proposed football competitions in Europe are getting a place, so the European Cup might turn up earlier than the 50s. I am not going to split Europe like I did with the Americas though. The split in Asia as it is now, I have some ideas for that, but it depends on how many nations in which regions I end up. Oceania planningwise looks to be solid, but will get a major twist where I need some changes to the editor for (yeah, I know, unlikely). There is one thing in the editor I am thinking of if it would work, but it depends how FM25 works with women football and nations/countries and stuff.

There is a checkbox in the pre game editor under the advanced rules for competition rules. Not entirely sure if it does work for the top division though.

Do you use fixture dates?

The nation competition rules in advanced rules have rules regarding recalling loan options.

The restriction has been in the game for several years. I think I have seen it mentioned at least in FM21.

Germany has been brought back to 20 failed items. Romania has only 23 left (yes, that's 1400 cleaned in an evening ) Tomorrow it is time for Czechoslovakia and in this tempo the Soviet Union will be cleaned up this week as well. That speeds up my return to Yugoslavia (quite some data work to do there) and when that's to a point that I am happy with it, it is Player file time.... Hopefully I can speed up, because 1400 a day would be an issue

I am bit more detailed in the sense that I am only deleting what I don't need and that can mean 1 or 2 items for a specific club, but I have removed about 1000 items changes from a file I am working in the last few hours and no issue for me.

There is a workaround, see the post above yours. No need to lose your mind, although I hope with you it gets fixed with the next patch.

I have been cleaning some old database I loaded into FM24 and it works perfectly for me. Not sure what you are doing differently then.
