    14 of the Competition Rules redone since Monday. I have redone them, since they are relatively simple files, but if someone has changed in teams and competition setup, it would edit hell. The small nation that came from the Around the Globe I will need to update, so those will cost some time though. I am not unhappy untill now, even though the editor is not that of FM22 level.

    If you check the competitions in Advanced Rules, you will see the section Fixture Times and Rules. Under there, you will see VAR Rules for Match. For the Premier League and a few other competitions, there were some VAR rules there. In general you will find VAR in the higher competition (obviously), but there are a few youth competitions where you will find VAR as well.

    Ah yes, that's correct. Reason I asked is because people are encountering crashes and an ID conflict is what is thought to be the problem.

    Implemented. Hong Kong will have two versions, with these rules and without.

    Was this information from an older file? FM23 for instance?

    Could you check the bug tracker for any crashing bug logged and add your thoughts and findings there please?

    Hi nimbleshadow, how did you come to the conclusion that ID conflicts for clubs and competitions is happening? Just curious, because if that's the case that's a good one to share in the bug section (if you didn't already).

    So a ID conflict in a sense? Edit: We had an issue with conflicting IDs that weren't randomised or something the like in (I think) FM22. Your file, is that taken from FM23? Can you combine that with a FM24 file? I am theorising and testing some stuff here as well.

    It's a matter of taking away variables until you come to the outcome. I have been in testing since 2005 (not FM related, it's my outside FM job) and reasons for crashing programs have been between the mundane (developer error) and the bizarre (finding out the only difference between two settings was that one setting had a non-dotted i, language setting was Turkish).

    Bizarre. I am on Win11/Steam and used the Original game mode. I loaded just that file and nothing else. I am lost at this moment what it could be.

    I rely on my memory, but there is a large list of notes and threads that I look up with all those nifty little things.

    We really need wizards for things like the Qatar rules (the wizard that let you set up things, not the magical types)

    I have tested both your files in the game. I have run the Cro file with several competitions (Croatia, Germany, Spain, England, Slovenia, France) and I stop the simulation in january 2024 I have run the Luxembourg file and (since it had only the Luxembourg nation set) I stopped the sim in 2026 No issues to report. So also no clue what is going on here. What systems are you playing on? I am playing on a Windows machine via Steam.

    Ok, I have managed to get my own Greek file verified. That means the issue is in your addition. I will need your file to compare.
