If you think it is a translation error, please take a look in the early access section and post a bug there. With regard to the .ltc file, I don't know if the ltc can be edited without causing trouble. We had some threads on the subject before and noone has been succesfull getting it to work.

Despite it possible being a coil whine, you are still advised making that backup. Better protect your data than to rely on a possible innocent situation.

Where do you go when you click on one of the competitions? That will give you an indication already.

Building the competition and research on players are two separate part of the same coin (game). Research is somewhat simpler.

Alphabetically or numerical is the way to go. There is no way to get unique UIDs other than keep everything in one big file. Depending on what you are exactly doing, that can be done (data file only) or is not possible (multiple national rules).

I have hidden two previous remarks because of the accusatory style of the posts. If you have any issues with the quality of the (Czech) data, the only way to get it fixed is to list those issues. List them according to what the original data is, what it should be and if necessary explain why. Keep it short, simple and factual. Please post cleanly and without accusations. There goes a lot of work into researching (I am one myself) and unfortunately errors will be made. Local users will likely know (much) more and their knowledge and input is very much appreciated by SI and the researchers.

Revisiting this, because when looking up something in the French Cup setup I spotted something that could be of help. The Cup starts of with quite a bit of teams, including some that aren't part of the French Mainland (not talking about you Corsica or Mont Saint-Michel!) In the fifth round (assuming the other rounds are preliminary rounds that FM doesn't run) a regional draw is done Nothing too fancy, or so I thought at first. Looking at General I noticed you can actually give in how many regions you want for your driaw. So I was wondering @rusty217 could this be usable for the East-West split in Asia? Looking at the geography my thought is it could be.

Some update on this project. When the FM24 editor comes out, all files will be converted to 24.1 and I will continue there. Geography changes is currently on version 100 (and counting) and that's the most important file for now.

Having played the first games in FM24, I am pretty sure it is a excellent idea to move to FM24. Too bad early acces doesn't give us the editor yet.

What were the issues you ran into? For me loading up a save with 23.1 files didn't work, so I am looking at 23.4 only right now.
