Winski
Youth intake preview 2022 I'm happy with the intake preview. We really need a good backup goalkeeper, so he will be very welcome. But we also need some new fullbacks, because we only have 3 options for 2 spots. I can't wait until Intake Day, because we only got 20 players at the club currently. I appointed Guðmundur Böðvar Guðjónsson as my HoYD and for this level, he looks like a good one. Edited December 2, 2020 by Winski
Popular Post officiallydeej
Full season report to come after the last game, but after 5 hard seasons and me questioning whether I'd ever be able to get Rodos promoted at times in the previous season, we are up!
officiallydeej
AS Rodos - 2025/26 Season Review Well this was unexpected! After spending most of the last season between 10th and 12th I was just hoping for a marginal improvement as I integrated more younger players into the starting 11. What we got instead was promotion with a whopping goal difference of 41. As I posted last night we won our second game against Diagoras 8-0 (note their goal difference of -73!) which sent morale sky high, I managed to maintain that morale throughout the season which meant despite the odd poor result we never had a drop in form.We hit the top after the Kalamata game and finished the season with 7 straight wins to pull away from Smyrnis and cup winners Aris and secure our promotion. I was genuinely starting to doubt my ability to get Rodos up with starting players retiring and a financial black hole giving me no upgrades since the start of the save, so this was a really pleasing promotion for me. A much better cup run this year saws dispose of top flight sides OFI Crete and Lamia before falling to our promotion rivals Aris. They went on to win the cup beating the Olympiakos juggernaut in the final and have played in Europe 3 times in this save, so to finish 8 points ahead of them was even more pleasing. Christos Arkoulos 22i - Evangelos Natsias My front two were the stars of the show here. Arkoulous has been a main stay on the front line for 4 seasons now, and despite his limited ability and the fact he seems to have already reached his PA managed to bang in 33 goals at a goal a game across both competitions. Natsias came through the clubs academy in the initial holiday season (hence no tag) and until this point I'd never really fancied him due to his poor finishing. The last of my 3 original strikers retired at the end of the previous season so I stuck him in for the friendlies and he never looked back. He does miss a lot of chances but his physicals are really good for this level and he often picks the ball up on the half way line and just starts taking defenders on and gets a shot off. 16 goals also came from our ageing winger Tsipras, another of my upcoming challenges being how I will replace him as his physical stats rapidly decline. Iordanis Veloudios 26b There is a lot of irony here. The previous season I've had a Perfectionist HOYD who churned out record numbers of unambitious, low determination and temperamental players with only 1 driven and 1 resolute personality across those 3 seasons. I finally lost patience with him and sacked him, replacing him with a chap with a balanced personality but much higher JPP and JPA and what does he produce? 2 Perfectionists, 1 F.Pro, a Resolute and a Driven in his first intake! Obviously a small sample size, but how much does a HOYD personality really matter? Aside from that there isn't a lot of talent here, but I will hopefully be able to get my first upgrades with next season's top flight TV package. Transfers 24/25 - Transfers 25/26 Next Season Survive, if we can. I have no idea how much stronger the top flight sides are but most teams who go up end up coming straight back down. We did pick up some positive cup results against OFI & Lamia who have been mainstays in the Super League since the start of the save so I hope we will be competitive at the very least. The main priority is to get the board to approve some upgrades with the extra income as I'm still on starting facilities, and also I'll finally be able to offer longer than 1 year pro contracts. The board have quadrupled the weekly wage budget to £40k so I shouldn't have any issue dealing with increase wage demands, though Mulaj 23a has already been in asking for a move to a bigger club and now won't extend past the end of next season, hopefully he isn't going to be the first of many. vikeologist
Vikeologist's 2022/23 Folkestone Season Report The first half of the second season was identical to the first. Started well, and then slumped. Then it was déjà vu all over again. We improved and were in the playoffs with about 12 matches to go before slumping again. The net result is that we did much better, and we should see more improvement next season. Top Goalscorer - David Smith – 31 Didn’t even need to change this. Same player. Same number of goals, this time just 1 ahead of his strike partner, Heard. Highest Average Rating (minimum 10 matches played) – Callum Davies – 7.25 Same central defender, slightly lower average, A year ago he was unhappy and I was worried he’d leave, but he’s reupped and is mostly happy. Man of The Match – Henry Newcombe – 7 My goalie. 25 years old, and it’s somewhat unlikely that any of my regen goalies, promising though a few of them are, will challenge his spot. Most Valuable Player– Henry Newcombe Might sound weird, considering he conceded 105 goals this season. (It was 122 a year ago). It’s not his fault. Most Appearances (Regens) – Lachlan Cook 1b – 55 Both Lachlan and my nephew Jason Ramsay 1a, have owned the 2 central midfield slots since emerging, but I guess Jason must have been suspended a couple of matches. As discussed in my intake report, my 2a, even though he’s most naturally a central midfielder, will be utilised as a left winger, so Lachlan and Jason should be fighting amongst themselves, quite possibly for the next 20 years. Jason is developing better, and more importantly, his career is the only thing keeping my big sister off the juice, so you may as well call this the nepotism challenge. Most Goals (Regens) – Lachlan Cook 1b / Charlie Laws 1l – 6 None of my youth strikers get many games and both a YP1 and YP2 striker have better potential than Charlie Laws, even though he actually did very well with the few games he did get this season. Season Division Position Notes MVP 21/22 VNL South 18th Steered clear of relegaton thanks to good start. Callum Davies 22/23 VNL South 16th Only 2 places, but a lot more points. Henry Newcombe

Braumiller
I'd be interested if this helps anyone else out, if you are playing 2 up front and not entirely happy with how you are playing, try switching them both to Pressing Forward - Defend. keeper#1
South Shields 2024-25 Season Review Fixtures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - I think I've figured out our two-match per week problem. It's a combination of needing to change out a lot of unfit players and we, sometimes, go with NO training between some matches. Imagine playing a match and your opponents have practiced every day and you show up with no preparation and just wing it. Yup, we just wing it and don't have the talent to pull it off. Final Table - We surged in April and moved into 6th place and back into the playoffs. Playoff Tree - Our stay in the playoffs was short-lived as we were bounced in the opening round by Chester...this time on penalty kicks. FA Cup - A memorable run to the 4th round ended when we hosted Manchester United FA Trophy - A not-so-memorable run which ended as soon as it started when we hosted FC United xG Stats - Overperformed our xG stats in all categories (xG, xPoints, and xPosition) Transfers Stats Players of the Season: CF Jason Gilchrist CM Kevin Baynes 24B CB Marc Hodgson 22B GK Myles Boney Youth Intake - a couple of plug and play players from this group Youth Intake DNA - downgrade in technical ability but the best ever mentally and physically Players to Watch: LW Hussein Al-Ali 25A, CB Marcus Baxter 25B, LW/CM Todd Laws 25C, AML Jakub Kwiatkowski 25D, CB Andy Howell 25E Best XI Accolades Moments to Remember I fired my HoYD after he churned out a bunch of negative personalities. New HoYD I've gone from a Fairly Professional to a Resolute for HoYD personality Apparently, 2.3 million in the bank isn't enough for us to turn pro. Becoming more and more convinced that I need to get to League Two and be forced to turn pro than convincing the board to let us turn pro while still in the National League I have completed all of my coaching badges and my attributes now: The dip in the balance is I had to outlay 400k, which the board approved with no question, to improve the training facilities back to adequate after they fell to below average due to technology advancements. craigcwwe
Doesn't look too promising. Didn't have a HoYD at the time this report came in however as the search was still underway, the new guy arrived just a couple of days later. Pre season went pretty well with five wins, a draw and a defeat excluding the cup loss in the middle of pre season. Was a close game and 0-0 at HT before their quality told in the second half, afterall, they are a division higher than us. Squad wise I've promoted several players from last year's first youth intake to the senior squad and released many players across the three squads so I've got a much more streamlined first team squad now. MoonMonster
Alemannia Aachen 2021-2022 Review Previous post Next post When I joined Aachen there were already six regen players from holidaying forward. Jan Hartmann was probably the best of the bunch and upon turning 17 I slotted him into our first team. Other holiday regens: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 We had one CB leaving us at the start of the season and sadly he was our best CB Transfers Media Prediction Squad Fixtures: 1, 2 Our season started off incredibly and after the second month of fixtures we were top of the table. Sadly this form would not last and a poor September and October saw us dropping down the table rapidly. February saw some of the dullest soccer I've ever seen, with us neither scoring nor conceding. We never really recovered from our poor fall form and finished the season in 9th. Table Best XI 2022 Regens A couple of really good regens in there which I was pretty pleased with. I'm very glad to have a CB through because I was most worried about that position and he looks like an okay prospect. Financially we are absolutely ****ed. Not really sure how we'll recuperate these losses without a big sale or promotion. And last but not least my manager profile. Sadly the board wouldn't grant me a coaching course. At the beginning of the season they said they didn't see the benefits (while simultaneously giving my assistant and other coaches courses lol), then later on they wouldn't due to the financial situation. jcoll
Apologies if this isn't the right place for it but I'm still plodding along with Donegal Celtic in FM20 and have finally turned professional thanks to an accumulation of player sales and sell on fees coming through. We have just finished our 7th season in the premier league with our highest finish in 6th position, I'm hoping that us turning pro will help in being able to not only retain our talented youngster but also help us develop them. The only concern is the big increase to the player and staff wage bill but hopefully we will be able to bring more income through success on the pitch to offset this.

Popular Post OlivierL
The Red Rebels | Making Mancunians , not Millionares ! FC United of Manchester - England - 6th tier - National League North - Intro Database | Manager | Club info | Club vision | Facilities | Finances | Squad | Youth Intake 2021 Intro After a long time of doubt and trying in Belgium and Iceland and after the last bugfix I started with FC United of Manchester (the Red Rebels). I hesitated because it is a popular choice this year. And because you have to start quite low in England. Their story is well known, I chose them because they are one of the better options for this challenge out of England and i'm a Manchester United fan , and i'm not a fan of the Glazers.. love the story, love the colours ! . They have a lot of supporters and this should ensure a good balance. I expect a lot of foreign nationalities in the youth intakes, I will try to list that as well. FC United played four season in National league North between 2015-2019. Just bought the book 'Red Rebels' , published in 2017 . So I'll quickly know more facts such as : Quote The author opens by relaying the reasons for the rise of the Red Rebels. He links their roots back to Munich 1958 when one of the disaster’s lesser-known victims, prospective director Willie Santinoff, was replaced by Louis Edwards. Edwards’ son, Martin, was the chairman whose stewardship of United paved the way for their takeover by the Glazers in 2005. We start with 23 squad players with 6 regens from the first youth intake. History Spoiler Football Club United of Manchester is a semi-professional football club in Moston, Manchester, England, that competes in Northern Premier League Premier Division, the seventh tier of the English football league system, and plays home matches at Broadhurst Park. Founded in 2005 by Manchester United supporters opposed to American businessman Malcolm Glazer's takeover, F.C. United entered Division Two of the North West Counties Football League, earned three consecutive promotions and were promoted for a fourth time to National League North for the 2015–16 season. In cup competitions, F.C. United reached the second round of the FA Cup in 2010–11 and the fourth round of the FA Trophy in 2014–15. In 2019 they were relegated back to the Northern Premier League. After ground-sharing between 2005 and 2014 with Bury at Gigg Lane, F.C. United opened their own ground, Broadhurst Park in north-east Manchester, in May 2015. The team was managed by Karl Marginson from its formation in 2005 until October 2017.[2] The current manager is Neil Reynolds, who took over as manager in October 2018 from David Chadwick who acted as temporary manager following Tom Greaves's resignation in August 2018.[3][4] The club's regular kit colours are red shirts, white shorts and black socks. Their badge is based on the Manchester coat of arms and features a ship at sea and three stripes for the three rivers that flow through Manchester. F.C. United are the largest fan-owned football club in the United Kingdom by number of members[5] and have one of the highest home attendances in English non-league football. The club is democratically run by its members who have equal voting rights and own one share in the club each. FacilitiesManchester United , Manchester City and Salford are our biggest rivals. Sanno11
Nuneaton Borough 2024/25 Season review Competitions Vanarama National League North - League table FA Cup - lost in 3rd qualifying round FA Trophy - lost in 3rd qualifying round So I think two images can nicely sum up my experience this season. The beginning: This is the year lads, we are going up. I am a genius and other things of this nature. The middle and the end: Ah, this is familiar, strap in lads this is going to get bumpy. In reality, it was more comfortable this year, but still very disappointing. I am hoping things begin to click, but it hasn't happened yet. I feel like we have a decent amount of talent and should be achieving more. We are so vulnerable to pacey forwards and long balls that any result could go against us. Playing squad The positive from the season was a young, untagged striker Reuban Arrowsmith scoring 34 goals. He's very pacey and was surprisingly clinical, despite his poor finishing. I like having some untagged players, as it is a pleasant surprise when one forces their way into the first team. Arrowsmith, would have been tagged as '22n' in his intake. We have 3-4 star players now from our earlier intakes, but they are yet to make a huge impact on the pitch. Richie Ransome (24c) had a good debut season, scoring 18 times. The 6ft 7 target man will be a big factor in hhow we get on next year. Youth Intake A solid enough intake again. We have a real mix of nationalities coming through, which is surprising at this level. I am excited by both Byrne and Weir from this crop. Brennan Turton (25a) Luca Byrne (25b) Dave Blake (25c) Rakim Weir (25d) Finances, Facilities and Transfers Our finances are still nice and stable, so stable I managed to coax a youth recruitment improvement out of the board. This get's that up to ''fairly basic'. Edited December 3, 2020 by Sanno11

JLAB
For what was considered to be a "Golden Generation", I can't help but feel rather disappointed at the end of the day. I had been hoping for more from the intakes, but I suppose I shouldn't have been too surprised when only the "striker" position seemed to be looking promising. As for the main man himself? He comes across more of a winger than a striker, which is far from ideal, especially since he isn't even the best "winger" in the intake in regards to current ability. Still, Dusan Macura was a nice surprise, even if he is more of a No-Nonsense Full-Back than a Wing-Back and is unambitious. He does provide us with more strength in the right-back role, which is always something that I will be happy about. Our best "Winger" really is our best winger in all irony. He's not a great striker sadly, but he has the pace needed for the winger position and the work rate too. Like Scarpato, he's more of a support player for the striking position than a attacking striker, but he has room to grow. The last of the players who have "incredible potential", Marcello Sottili has the determination I look for and feels rather well-rounded for a defender who doesn't really excel in anything outside of positioning. I've decided to go ahead and replace my Head of Youth Development as a result of this intake. Is that harsh? Let me know.
TheGreatTraveler
SC Freamunde Season 1 - 2021/2022 Transfers - League Table - Past Positions - Best XI - Youth Intake - Finances Season Summary This was a season of growth, learning, and that all important little bit of luck. As I entered the job, I saw I had a decent squad with lots of players in their late to mid 20s. With most on amateur deals (but the club being professional) I quickly offered a deal to any player who was good enough and would accept the deal. That money could have probably been better used elsewhere, but I was scared of seeing my star players poached for nothing. The season then began with 6 straight draws that gave me confidence we belonged in the division. After that we went on a run of 7 games were we won 3, lost 3, and drew one that me feeling confident I wouldn't have to worry about relegation, but then the team crumpled as we lost key games vs relegation rivals Infesta and Machico. With 4 games to go, we were only 2 points above the relegation zone. The next game? Six-pointer against last placed Cinfaes who, with a victory, would overtake us. It was the greatest of gifts when the intake happened a week before the match and I got the absolute beast that is Belarmino Costa - YP1a. I'll talk more about the intake below, but with him in the side we won the game against Cinfaes, then won the next two games as well to secure our safety and double our number of wins for the season. A final day loss against first place Felgueiras was irrelevant as I celebrated a new contract with hope for the future. Off the Field With the club already starting with Average training and youth facilities, as well as adequate recruitment, the only change I was able to make was an increase of Junior Coaching, whcih is now Good. Unfortunately, the board want to build a Stadium (sigh) so not sure how I'll improve the facilities any time soon. As well, I seem to have encountered this small bug where the board want me to win Promotion next season, even though the five year plan had me working towards a top-half finish in this division for all 5 years. Hoping this gets fixed when I advance to the new season! Youth Intake Could not have wished for a better intake. Huge variety of positions, many players with enough ability to get some game time early next season, and just bonkers potential. I do want to mention that I had a great class of prospects from the Holiday intake, so let me talk about THEM first. The season 0 players all have incredible potential, with three making their debuts this season. Bruno Prates - YP0b became our youngest ever player at 15 years and 363 days, and ended the season with 2 starts, 6 sub-appearances, and one assist. May struggle next season as a better left back showed up in our intake. Nuno Casaca - YP0d made his debut later in the season, but by the last few games he was a definite starter. 9 games and 1 assist are a good starting point for him. Gustavo Teles - YP0f came on in the last game of the season to make a full youth player back four for the last 30 minutes of the season. Will have a bit of competition next season. Now, onto the season 1 prospects (as seen in the Youth Intake link). The amount of potential is ridiculous and soon I expect them to push out some of the first team squad members. Next season may be a bit soon for most, but they'll begin to get run-outs. Three of them also made their debuts this season. Belarmino Costa - YP1a instantly became my star player. After the intake he started all four games, finishing with a 7.40 average rating. If I can keep him at the club, next season should be much better. His unambitious personality may actually be good in that he may not try to leave too soon Joao Amorim - YP1c played in the last two games of the season, starting the last one at left back. Have high hopes he'll fix the issues I was having defensively down the left side. Francisco Landim - YP1f came off the bench three times as I could use some competition for left winger, and did alright all things considered. Looking forward to having him in the squad next season. Ailton Lopes - YP1d didn't play any games but he does look great. Will try to give him a debut in the cup next season, and if he develops well, may begin to fade out my keeper to give him more game time. What is your HOYD's profile? Spare a thought for the newly promoted team in my division Diagoras, who followed up their opening day 8-1 defeat at Volos with an 8-0 rousting at home against my rampant Rodos team. I'm hoping this is a sign of good things for me, but realistically they seem so bad that this might end up being a regular scoreline for them. Another team from rodos as well that must of become a great rival day for the fans.
hubwub
Zhejiang Yiteng F.C. SEASON TWO - 2023 - Ping An CFA Super League LEAGUE TABLE | FIXTURES | SQUAD STATS | COMPETITION OVERVIEW MANAGER OVERVIEW: CHARACTERISTICS | ATTRIBUTES CLUB: PROFILE | GENERAL | FACILITIES | HONOURS | FINANCES | CLUB VISION PLAYERS: TRANSFERS | RELEASED STAFF: CURRENT| RELEASED Ping An CFA Super League The second half of the season was interesting. My defense knew how to get battered with shots but not concede goals. Yet my offense didn't start clicking till September and October. We just managed to get goals and won games we shouldn't have won. This season I won both games in the Zhejiang rivalry against Zhejiang Energy Greentown. We won away 3-0. The form from that match carried on with our biggest win ever which was a home game against Hebei China Fortune. The score line was 6-0 with three players with two goals each. The standout of player of the season was Tang Gun 22G who anchored my defense. He was named as the Fans' Player of the Season and Fans' Young Player of the Season. However, he didn't do it alone. My captain, Wang Jingping, had 10 clean sheets during the season. His performance earned him Chinese Super League Goalkeeper of the Year and Chinese Super League Team of the Year. Staff and Facilities One of my U19 coaches, Piao Wanzhe, got poached by Qingdao Jonoon to become their next manager. He got replaced with Zhao Fan who is a regen coach with 10 Determination with Fairly Professional Personality and Reserved Media Handling Style. I swapped a great coach with Balanced personality for something better. It's a WIN. As for my manager, they are now attempting to get their Continental C License. I am waiting till the new year to attempt any facility upgrades. I want to see how my finances are. International Duty Shen Xiangwei is a player that was generated when Yiteng was still unplayable. He was part of the very first youth intake. He got called up to the U23s. Youth What has happened to my first youth intake? The left side of the photo is the 2022 Youth Intake and on the right is November 2023 right after the season ended. Each of these players were put into mentoring groups with first team members. Those who had growth since arriving at the club: Tang Jun 22G became an immediate starter for my team upon arriving. He gained 2 Determination. The upper threshold for the Balanced personality is 14 Determination. Where he is at right now within the next year will cause his personality to change. Tong Jiang 22M was my pet project throughout the season for the sole reason that they were a high Determination player with an Unambitious personality. His current Determination of 16 is close to the maximum Determination for a player with Unambitious personality. Depending on how his mentoring goes, he will move on from Unambitious. The ones who I made mistakes with as they had downgrades to their personalities are Zhang Zuxu 22L and Peng Yang 22O. I'm still confused about how Peng Yang 22O went to Balanced for he was in a mentoring group consisting of a Fairly Professional GK and Determined GK. I will still monitor my first youth intake. None are getting the axe yet. This is a long term project. Forgot to add this, Zhejiang Energy Greentown poached one of my players. We will see if this player is highly rated once they actually reach their youth team. Youth Intake As for this year's youth intake. Here it is: The key players to watch in the next year: Ji Linfeng 23B, Li Zhenyu 23C, Liu Chenlong 23E, and Sun Xingquan 23M. All the players in this youth take are now in mentoring groups with one another grouped by their Determination in my U19s. I will do another evaluation of who should be demoted from my first team who is U19 eligible to continue their growth in the U19s for a bit.
