DazRTaylor
Youth Candidates Season 2036/37 SV Babberich Wow. What an intake this is. Quite a few will go straight into the first team squad and in Bob Muis YP37A241 we have an absolute diamond.
Flashman\'s School Days
Wuhan Three Towns - Season 2027 Review Manager Attributes - Characteristics Transfers - Fixtures 1 - Fixtures 2 China League One - 11th Spoiler Before our first season back down in the second tier we had a board takeover and although they didn't put any money into the club they did give us some transfer budget and revise our expectations from avoiding relegation to finishing mid-table. The media prediction was 15th so I suppose we slightly overachieved, however, it was actually our worst season since I took over as the lowest we have finished at this level was 6th with 56 points. After three seasons of hardship it was nice to actually win some games, especially as we managed two 5-1 and two 4-1 wins in the first 10 games of the season. Despite that though we were rather inconsistent and I was hoping for a comfortable top half finish, then the mid season transfer window came and we lost our best player and goalscoring hero Xu Chen 21b. A couple of years ago I had given him a crazy (for us) contract, just in order to keep him, this included a £0 relegation release clause. For some reason nobody had shown any interest in the free signing of a player who had finished in the top 3 scorers of the super league for the past three seasons. Unfortunately him getting 15 goals in the first 17 games had teams finally interested and he signed for Beijing Renhe, obviously this is not only annoying that we had lost our best striker but also that we made no money from the deal. This loss was immediately noticeable and we really struggled to score for the next 10 games, only really picking up in the last few games of the season. Xu Chen went on to be the league top scorer and got more goals for Renhe as they got promoted in the second half of the season than anyone managed in the full season for us. Squad Spoiler This year's squad was a bit different to the team that got relegated as we released 3 senior players and sold two of our young stars. Liu Shuai 24a went for £2.2M rising to £2.5M with a 50% of profit clause and Zhang Zhibo 25a went for £3.5M with a 50% of next sale clause. Losing our starting AMC with no decent back up meant that I decided to switch to 442 which allowed quite a lot of game time for Zhu Jiarong 22e, who finished as top scorer and Wang Zhiming 24c, who despite playing a lot of games was really unimpressive with 3 goals, one was a penalty and the other two were in a single game. Yu Hao 23b had his breakout season with 3 goals and 10 assists, the most anyone had got in a season on this save was 6 and Peng Sitong 23e continued his end of last season form, managing to use all of his 6'6" frame to cause havoc at set pieces with 6 goals and 2 assists. Youth Intake Spoiler As every other season we got a "Golden Generation", however, this was far and away the worst of the lot. A mix of really poor personalities and base current ability means that only half of them were signed when I've only not signed one player from intakes before this season. We did get an exciting looking Model Citizen striker though who will most probably be getting game time pretty soon. This has also been the third intake where the goalkeeper has been the highest rated player yet I'm still playing the keeper that was already at the club when I took over. We had our first bit of success with the U19 team winning the U19 FA Cup. Here are some of the better former intake players as well as this year's best. Wei Mingfei 22d - Guo Qi 22h - Li Jiarong 22c Yu Bo 27a - Zhao Wenchao 27b - Li Weijie 27c Finances Spoiler We started the season with selling two players for £5.75M and our sponsorship is up to £625k which boosted our Overall Balance to almost £6.5M, despite that though we are still considered insecure so again no upgrades or coaching badges. They have for once given me a better budget for the coming season so I've been able to tie up a few contract issues. Next Season I'm quite happy to try and plod along in this league until the board deem us to be in something other than a bad financial state which would then give us some sort of springboard to actually progress the save.

DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2036/37 SV Babberich League Table - A very satisfactory first season in the third tier. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - A solid first season, though we did lose multiple games on the trot a few times. TOTO KNVB Beker - We went out at the first time of asking, losing away to fellow third tier side SC Feyenoord after extra time in the second preliminary round. Pre Season Friendlies - A decent enough pre season, though we did lose three games. Mid Season Friendlies - Three games, one win, one draw and one loss. Squad - Ideally, we could do with another midfielder or two, but overall, we are strong enough to maintain our mid table position. Squad Dynamics - Exceptional, as it always seems to be. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - Just one departure but it was a key player and very hot prospect. Vivier Gerezgiher YP36A225, who had established himself as first choice left back, declined a deal and left on a free transfer. Youth Candidates - A wonderful intake, with Bob Muis YP37A241 being not only the best player in the group, but is already the best player at the club. Finances - We lost a lot of money this season, due to the cost of maintaining the academy. Key Players Olivier van Brakel YP23B18 - Mr Consistent as we had another fine year from the goalkeeper. Angelo Richard YP27C83 - A good enough season from the centre back, though I fear he has found his level. Tjeu Voight YP31C147 - The striker had his best season to date, netting 28 goals in 30 appearances. Ashar van Kessel YP32C163 - It is no coincidence that we lost ten games in twelve when the left winger was out injured. He is that important to us. Philipp Bonmann YP32B162 - Playing on the right wing, he has made the position his own. Next Season Another mid table season will be the goal. Pelz
Annnnnddddd sacked, first season in my fist attempt Trying to pinpoint what exactly went wrong with Bitonto.. after a promising start everything just fell apart, picked up a few injuries (I already had only two very poor fullbacks and absolutely no natural wingers) confidence was low and just remained that way - no matter what I said to the players it was received badly, no manner of team talk could motivate them... set expectations high they’d get demotivated, take the pressure off they simply wouldn’t bother. Every team meeting was an utter calamity and did more harm than good! Same with tactical changes - try and attack and we just weren’t good enough and got spanked on counter, sit back and regroup and it was just wave after wave until we’d ultimately collapse and concede 3-4. Went from beating Serie B opposition in the cup and winning 2 of opening 3, one of those against the eventual league runners up, to scraping 4 points from the next 22 games I have been away from the game for a little while so perhaps jumped in at the deep end a little.

Armeniar
Bekhechi is just like wine, he gets better as he's getting older At the age of 33 Jeremy became one of the star players in the Ligue 2, while he never even played in the Ligue 2 before his thirties. His personality & determination (19) also make him the ideal leader of our youngsters on & off the pitch.
keeper#1
South Shields January 1, 2024 Update It's been a successful first half of the season. We are helping our defense by spending more time on offense which has been a trend with this save. We push for promotion when our offense is up to the league standard and we hold on for dear life on the defensive side. Not my ideal way for playing but it's working for us. Our struggle is, as always, a lack of depth. We get a congested run of fixtures and our play becomes disjointed as I have to rotate players in and out of the lineup. As a result, our form fades. I need depth in defense as our rotational defenders just aren't up to the standard needed for the Championship. We are slowly getting closer to the league average in all of the categories. More wingers coming in and another good goalkeeper but sadly not much help on the defensive line. Kevin Irving 28B moves to the top of the senior international appearances as he led Canada to the Gold Cup Final before losing to Mexico 2-1 at the LA Coliseum. Alya Bangoura 31F and Ibrahim Lule 29G have picked up a lot of caps in African World Cup Qualifying. Randy Howell 31H joined Barbados on their Gold Cup campaign and even scored a goal against Antigua and Barbuda in a friendly leading up to the Gold Cup but couldn't score in a tough group stage against the USA, Panama, and El Salvador. Not much change on the U21 list. Precious John 28A picked up some Ireland U21 caps and moved above Paul MacPherson 28D into 4th place on this list. Mike Neiland 23B is rapidly securing his place as a future club legend. 352 appearances and 203 goals scored and he is only 26 years old. Pedro Silva 27D moves into 2nd place on the academy goals list. Todd Laws 25C will pass Kris Kamara 23A into 2nd place on the list as Kamara was sold to QPR in the January window. Trevor Stoneman 27F has a good chance of moving into 3rd place on the goal scored list by the end of the season.
XaW
Teie IF - Youth intake 2026 Looks promising, and central midfield is not the worst position to get in more players. Not bad, and there is one clear standout. A really talented allrounder in midfield. Thinking about using him as a B2B-midfielder, since he really doesn't have any weak points. Statistics: Spoiler Mostly local kids, but we got in a random Latvian guy.

Sokker14
Start | S1 (2024/2025) | S2 (2025/2026) | S3 (2025/2026) | S4 (2026/2027) | S5 (2027/2028) Despite multiple efforts this year I had to let my two most talented players go. Goodbye to Arthur Zijm & Ali Zorlu, but a big welcome to a golden generation. For the fifth time in a row we escape from relegation on the last matchday. I'm wondering when we'll ever really compete in this league. shaunvamos
Kecskeméti 2025/26 Season Review A very dominant season, and we are promoted as champions Changed to a strikerless formation during away games, and it worked wonders, only losing 1 and conceding 9 all season. We now have the players to do well in Hungary, but it should be tough going in the top division against established teams like Debrecen and Ferencvaros. Dan-Marius Constantinescu - Dávid Acsádi 3E - Lukács Gábor Constantinescu was once again our best player by far, but our best player on the team (in my opinion) is David Acsadi 3E. He was billed as the top player in our 3rd intake, and he's quickly shown why. He's so good in fact, that he refuses to sign a contract with us because he thinks he's too good (he's right). So unless I can convince him next season, he'll have to go. Our home overall has improved, and our away ability has tanked a bit due to the change in formation/roles, so next season will be a better indicator of how we are trending. But the invasion of youth products is hard to ignore, and we are only going to get stronger. Youth Intake Ádám Maczkó 5A* - Gábor Nagy 5B - Milán Tasi 5C* Another strong intake, with wide players dominating this year. The personalities are better as well, but still pretty terrible overall. The competition for places in the U19s will be fierce! Record Breakers Transfers The jewel of our first intake leaves for a team that will be relegated into the unplayable leagues. YP34B135 would mean the following: YP - Youth Player. 34 - They came through in 2034. B - The coaches rate them the second best prospect that season. C is third, D fourth etc. 135 - The 135th total player to come through since the save began.
Popular Post XaW
Teie IF Season 2026 review Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances Finally! 5 seasons and finally we are up into the 3rd tier. After being close to the top the last 3 seasons I knew we had a chance, and this time we took it. I've started to notice other teams trying to poach a few of my players and that is in some way encouraging since it means we have started to produce actual talent. And since I can only sign players on non-contracts, I keep having to renew them, but so far I don't think I've lost anyone I really wanted to keep. Going to be exciting to see how we do faced with a tier higher. In Norgesmesterskapet we beat Donn before losing to Skeid in the 2nd round. Youth players of note: An amazing season, and quite frankly he is way too good for us, so I treasure every match he plays. 25 goals and 16 assists in 26 matches are nothing short of spectacular. The other striker also had a great season, and they both contributed to our promotion.

Do note, at the players level. So sending Championship talent to the Vanarama will not help as much as sending to the Championship. And yes, it's a trade-off for lesser control over the training, and some players will benefit more from playing youth football than a year at the wrong team. There is no one clear cut strategy, at least not for me. I've had great talents that I gave too much play time to early and they stagnated from it, and the same for players who got too little. Now, this thread is a bit special since we ONLY focus on youngsters and not buying anyone. So more often I find I have to play youngsters too soon, but it seems to work out well enough mostly. So I pretty much only loan out players I know 100% won't get any matches for me, and is good enough to actually have some cameos. So I don't loan out too many players, unless they are nagging about game time and I don't think they are good enough, but even then I might just sell them, because I don't want any whiners on my team! So how do you go about mentoring a youngster, say 16 y/o which I'd like to have a better personality if possible, should I put them in the senior squad and let them play in U18 team? That would work but then they are not using U18 coaches which in theory should be better than first team coaches for them... ?

Little tip (I know this worked in FM20 so assume it's same in 21) when you renew for this reason select the option of contract start date for end of season - should mean they are unable to be poached for the rest of the current season.

keeper#1
South Shields 2034 Youth Intake Posting the intake preview to see how well the HOYD performed. Lots of wingers and a very good goalkeeper. Weak spots are the back line, central midfield and forwards. Here's the intake DNA He was spot on with the wingers and goalkeeper as they are three of the top five players in the class. He missed on the right-back who is the top player in the class AND a professional personality with 20 determination (more on him later) and on the defensive midfielder who is one of the top five players in the class. On the whole, this is my best class in terms of DNA and mentality. Technical ratings improved over last year while the physical attributes continued their decline. The full-back has the chance to be a real star. Let's take a look. Trevor Gambin 34A comes into the club and is already the best right-back at the club. I messed up the contract negotiations with him the first time, he's only on a youth contract, around so he spent the remainder of the season with the U18 club so none of the big clubs could find him. Next season, he will be penciled in as our starting right-back. I look forward to watching him develop before he gets too big for the club and I need to sell him. But right now, I'm going to ride his defensive skills for all they are worth. Robert Connor 34B is a true right-winger which fit the formation that I'm trying to play. Fast, fit, and cross the ball into the box. He has lots of room to develop and I have a lot of right wingers in the system so another slow build is likely for Connor with some time in the U18s before getting loaned out for first time experience. David Hitchliffe 34C joins a pipeline of goalkeepers at South Shields. Needs to work on his penalty box presence and reading the play. His handling and reflexes are already top notch. Like Conner 34B, Hitchliffe 34C will spend some time with the U18s before getting first team experience out on loan as we already three older goalkeepers who have better skills ahead of him. Dario Tosto 34D is a decent striker but not someone who will set the world on fire. He's not the best at a lot of things like dribbling or finishing. He doesn't have good balance on the ball and isn't strong. But he makes for it by giving everything for the team. Sounding like a broken record, a player who needs time to develop with the U18s. Connor Unsworth 34E is a solid stay-at-home defensive midfielder. He enjoys breaking up the play and is smart and brave player. However, his big heart is dragged down by being painfully slow. This lack of speed in the midfield could hold him back longer than I'd like. Could be a solid depth option for the senior team in a few seasons.
Sn00gle
Garbarnia Kraków - 2024/25 Squad - League - Finances - Transfers First season in Ekstraklasa. At the start our Chairman decided invest next big money (around 1ml in loan) to upgreat stadium to the rules of the league. This was hard season but we managed to get points with all teams with which we fight for survival and we grab some extra points with others. Wierd thing my team didn't play this season in Polish Cup WTF? Anyway I was so down that I let play some of my young guns in Ekstraklasa so at the end we get around 650k euros for first place in table for playing young players. That money on the end let me give a try with Mr. No and he agreed to put 725k into Youth Facilities which will be upgreated next season. From another wierd thing my Chairman decided to loan stadium in Sosnowiec.... becouse ours Is not legit anymore for Ekstraklasa.... Genius.. Meanwhile Mr. No agreed two times to upgreat both junior coaching and youth recruitment. That was good season here and there with Drągowski 02a get NT u18 call and played vs Slovakia, Adamski 02c (after season he asked for big contract for himself LOL he earn 55 euros per week now over 1K) steped up when all my forwards were injured and scored some goals with Baise 01d (4 finishing.. right). I've got really good intake and biright future to get them more even If I will be relegated.

XaW
Teie IF - Youth intake 2027 Another golden generation, and some full backs would be nice. Really good that and the right wing back looks tasty! I think he is talented, but I wasn't really taken when looking at his stats I'm not amazed. Will most likely play a lot anyway though, since he pretty much is the best right back at the club already. darren1983
Season 2021/22 Review Vanarama National League North League - Not the worst season, we were always up there and even hit top spot at the end of Feb with 10 games to go, from there though we only won 4 games as our title push fell away. We just drew too many games in the first half of the season and ironically not enough in the 2nd half. In the end we finished 5th. Playoffs - playing a Chester side we had beaten twice in the league so of course this is the one we lose. Typical. We just didn't turn up (as happened a few times this season) on the day, had lots of the ball but just seemed unable to break them down. C FA Cup - Had a good run here as we beat a side from the league above (Wrexham) and a league two side in Oldham. League One Wycombe were just a bit too strong for us but we did take the lead and were on TV FA Trophy - another good run here, the Chesterfield games were a turning point in our season I think, we were 2-0 at HT but then didn't come out of changing room for the 2nd half, we lost the replay 3 days later and lost our exit 3 games in the league without scoring. We went 4.5 games without a goal after that first half and from there our form was up and down for the rest of the season. Transfers - none in or out this year Squad - solid, managed to keeper our keeper for next year or 2 which is helpful. Need Hunter to stop hating me and sign a new deal but looks unlikely so need a right back really Finances - good. Means I can keep Hunter for this upcoming season and without needing the cash from selling him Youth Intake - a bit of a let down really. PA wise it looks decent but with my facilities they're unlikely to ever reach their PA so what I needed was CA and there was next to none of that Lee Calvert 22A - can play across the AM area, not a great personality but will be in a mentoring group in the hope to improve thatJordan Finlayson 22B - right back, ok looking mentals but needs a lot of work elsewhereStevie Moore 22C - left winger, solid starting points with some stuff to work with. Trouble is our best young player is also a left winger so no need to rush this guyAnthony King 22D - a striker, poor finishing & acceleration means he's not ideal for my current set up but a solid personality, nice passing, dribbling, off the ball and composure could make him a decent DLF for us. I like this guyJordan Hughes 22E - poor physicals are a worry but those aside I think he could be a decent rotation option at CM Career Progress Season League Position Youth Recruitment Youth Coaching Notes & Achievements 2021/22 VNLN 5th Adequate Adequate First coaching badge Next Season Will be aiming for top spots again, however I need to nail down my tactical approach, I'm probably going far to early in trying to become peak pep era Barcelona but that's just the way I like to play so yeah
