Popular Post The7Striker Posted March 24, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted March 24, 2022 Tampereen Pallo-Veikot 2025 Season Finances Transfers Squad Suomen Cup Overall, a very positive cup run. finishing 2nd in the Group Stage we managed to reach the semi finals where we lost to HJK, which for now has the best team in the country. Veikkausliiga Fixtures Championship Fixtures Champions!!! With 1 point less than last year's champions,(HJK had 56 in 2024), we won the trophy. To be fair, HJK had everything to win it, but like us, with European games, the team fell and we took advantage of that. It's been a good season for the team's rookies, with Joni Kallio 24a having a very solid season and it gives me some hope that we can turn into something good,along side Sergey Kuznetsov 24c and Christ Mbanzoulou 24c also doing solid seasons. This year finances look healthy, but mostly due to ECL money. On the transfer side, we sold a few players that doesnt have the standards for the league and loan some youth players that need some first team experience. Europa Conference League We reached the third qualifying round and, to be honest, I thought we could make it to the next round, but unfortunately Lausanne was better than us. Youth Intake Spoiler This youth intake was a bust. I will be luck if someone will be in the first team. Popular Post BustaRaymes Posted March 24, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted March 24, 2022 *FM20* Littlehampton Town 2025-2026 Southern Combination Football League We bounced back from our worst league position to date with this: We were much more solid this year, hanging around 4th for a long time. A great run midseason saw us climb to 2nd and a dip in form at Hassocks gave us the top spot with 6 games to go, and we went all the way. Up we go! Transfers One of the best of last seasons' intake decided he wasn't going to wait for the season to start and left. Squad Coles, Campbell and Jones continued their performances this year, but the standout performer was Tom Parsons. I wanted to see what a bit more pace up front would bring us and he obviously delivered. Moriarty and Mooney keep getting better stats every season so their places should be cemented for the near future. Youth Intake Can't be a big pull every year. Halfway trough the season I finally started to play an attacking style of football and it payed of greatly. A few big losses of course against some of the top teams but we were able to get a lot more points despite a not so solid defence. We really didn't have to much to say against Fylde in the quarter final but I think we will be a top team next year. Squad Due to the more attacking football we actually had a few players with an av rating above 7.0 which seems to be impossible to get when you are trying to defend your way to glory. Anyways, the players keep getting better and our only weak spot in the squad is the left back. Youth Intake What a player! Unbelievable! The name of the club brings the memory of World War II, as it is named for Lightning's Royal Air Force aircraft. This is because Mr. Spiteri was the pilot of this Royal Air Force aircraft. After 75 years, this club has had many successful years, even if you have. In 2018, the Lightnings were crowned winners by an undefeated season run by Marco Grech. A new committee was elected earlier this year, with more than 75% being young people. Its main goal is to regain success in Maltese football and bring the most popular sport to its roots in Santa Venera. Last July, the club settled all the problems that existed between the central committee and the kindergarten. Since that day, one club has been established with the same goal. We have a squad full of real players! As well as some good reserve and youth players! Luckily, there is only one relegation spot in this division, and it became clear quite early that RWDM would take that. So we could relax and try to just enjoy the season, and I'm very happy with how it turned out. A very solid mid-table finish in our first attempt is more than satisfactory. Of course, some of the teams are far better than us, like Royal Antwerp, but we still showed we can deliver at this level. So, I'm very happy with this season, and I'm looking forward to the next. Jonathan Put 24a has found himself in a starting position in the midfield this season, and while I don't think he has had the attribute growth I hoped, at least he has played really well. Yassin Amri 24b and Ourdy Beya 24d also became first choices this season. Croky Cup: We beat URSL Visé before we lost to KMSK Deinze in the 6th round. U21 Team: They finished 12th in the Belgian Reserve League 1B. U18 Team: They won the Belgian U18 Elite 2 and then went into the Belgian U18 Elite 1 Promotion/Relegation and finished 4th. I think that means they are promoted to Elite 1? Youth intake: A very good intake with loads of exciting talents. He looks like a promising goalkeeper, and since we hadn't had any good ones come through before, this is a very nice addition. Here are some of the Elite Talents in this intake. Gwendal Chevalier(YP51) - French 16 Year Old Defensive Midfielder/Ball Winning Midfielder A good Defensive Midfielder who has good Jumping Reach, Work Rate and Natural Fitness and has a Fairly Loyal personality. Samir Aubry(YP50) - 15 Year Old French Central Defender/Defensive Midfielder Aubry has excellent Bravery and decent Balance, Jumping Reach and Natural Fitness and has a Fairly Profressional personality. Warren Nsandi(YP53) - 16 Year Old French Left & Right Full Back I am excited about Nsandi with excellent Bravery, good Aggression and Stamina and decent in a few other areas. He also has a Fairly Profressional personality so hopefully he will turn out good for me. I tried loads of different tactics but the players just weren't good enough and I got relegated back to the French National League. My Best Player Kheireddine Toual(YP35) - 17 Year Old Algerian Striker The only good thing to come from this season is finally finding a striker capable of scoring a few goals for us and at only 17 years old the future is bright. Luckily I got him to sign a new 2 year contract. I am hoping we can bounce back up the Ligue 2 next season with Toual getting the goals for us. Transfers We managed to get the board to Improve the Youth Recruitment to Exceptional so at least that will help us keep producing talented young players. There isn't much else to say unfortunately as it was such a poor season. Sometimes you got to go a step back to go two steps forward. Season Details League Table - Rarely troubled, we cantered to the league title and promotion to the fifth tier. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We were undefeated until February, such was our dominance. Friendlies - We enjoyed a decent pre season campaign as we only lost three games, all to much higher ranked opponents. Squad - We are getting better as the youth intakes improve. Squad Dynamics - After such a successful season, it is rather good. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - Striker Sheraldo Deira YP24A17 is the best prospect out of an impressive bunch. Finances - The high youth costs meant we made a loss this year and have slipped into the red as a result. Key Players Dean Groen - The midfielder was good, though not as good as last season. Jelle Kuperus-Schokker - The teenage winger continues to get better. Jöel Wagenaar - It was another magical season from the forward, scoring an impressive 28 goals in 25 appearances. Robin Hosé - The teenage Curaçaoan is equally at home in central defence or central midfield. Pieter van Santen - Comfortable anywhere across the back four, the eighteen year old defender was excellent. Next Season We should definitely be capable of the top half, though I am not sure we can go higher just yet. But the side is getting younger and things are looking really encouraging for the future. In the end we qualified for the play-offs comfortably, got through the first round due to being the highest seed after a draw only to lose to Triestina who, to be fair, were a way better side than us. Players a fantastic season for our Albanian striker with 30 goals, compared to only 14 last season. I'm gonna need him for a couple more seasons at least as there's nobody yet at a level where they can challenge him for his spot. Radaelli 23A is looking like a real prospect so obviously he's decided he really doesn't want to sign a new contract with us. 1 year left to see if I can persuade him other wise, or find a nice price for him. Youth We got nice youth set-up for this level but we are paying for it at the same time. So was it any good? Yeah, lots of potential, but not a huge amount of current ability. Nobody close to being first teamers for at least a couple of years and I have no idea which player is more likely to make it. They're all just ok really! Loads of elite talents for the actual intake, which is lovely. But no obvious future stars. But maybe a good set of squad players? Finances and Upgrades well we lost a bucketload of money. I've managed to take 2.5m and turn it into -1m in only 4 seasons! with very little show for it! so probably no upgrades for a little while Career 6 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Deicide Posted March 25, 2022 Share Posted March 25, 2022 I don't normally post updates of my FM21 save, except for the odd youth intake gem / transfer but I felt I had to post this update. After 9 hard fought seasons we have finally gained our first (unlikely) promotion! We finished 6th and somehow manged to win 3 consecutive away games to clinch our spot in next seasons national league. So because of this I can't get any of my players to sign new contracts and I can't even offer any of my players from my Youth Intake for this season a £100 per week to keep them. The most I can offer is £55 so I have only been able to sign a few youth players. Here are a few of the top prospects Didier Ndong(YP61) - 15 Year Old Gabonese Advanced Playmaker Ndong's key attributes are Determination, Vision, Composure and he has a Spirited personality. Daryl Vladere(YP62) - 15 Year Old Reunionese Striker He has some good overall decent attributes in Finishing, Technique, Determination and Flair. He also has an Unambitious personality but hopefully I can change that with some good mentoring. Gael Chiron(YP63) - 15 Year Old French Central Defender Chiron has a Fairly Determined personality to go with his key attributes in Determination, Teamwork and Bravery. I feel confident in him becoming a sold centre back for the club. There are a few other prospects but I will just mention them if they get good. Talking of players becoming good I got a few more of my previous prospects that are doing well this season. Here is a few of the previous youth prospects. Olivier Granelt(YP7) - 20 Year Old French Attacking Midfielder Granelt has become a first team regular who has done well providing goals and assists. He has excellent Vision and Balance and has good Technique and Composure. Folly Tchadjobo(YP27) - 18 Year Old Togolese Deep Lying Forward Tchadjobo has done well this season and hopefully will fill the void for the recently departed Toual. 11 goals this season so far. He should finish with about 20 goals for the season and is only 18 years old. The only concern is I can't get him to agree to a new contract cos I just don't have the money to do so. That said, the recent patch means russian teams can't compete in the UCL (I think) so that would now rule them out. @darren1983 @XaW will know. Lusitanos - Season 7 (28/29) Review An excellent season where we managed to finish in a comfortable second place in the league, but a long long way off Inter. 7 year recap Spoiler I like to take a look at the virtual world being created in my save to help immerse myself. This is the reason I produce a lot of the extra tables, some of which I present in my updates. Anyway, I am going to take a look at what has been going on in Andorra and particularly with Inter, who seem to have move well ahead of every other team. I am also keen to see what is going on with the Andorra national team and Portugal (as our club, like several in Andorra, has strong ties to the significant Portuguese population in the country). Inter Club d'Escaldes - Inter have won every league title during this save (that's eight titles when including the first holiday year). With their consecutive titles in the 19/20 and 20/21, that makes 10 successive titles, putting them just three behind FC Santa Coloma. They went unbeaten in the league this season, as they did a couple of seasons ago. This means they have lost just one league game in the last 3 seasons (81 games). They are the first team to turn professional in my save and this has led to them offering wages far in excess of the rest of the league. Interestingly they haven't yet moved to a new stadium of their own, so they're still using the national training facilities in the capital (Andorra La Vella), with a capacity of 236. This season, for the first time ever for an Andorran club, they made it to the group stage of a European competition (the conference league). This has helped in boosting the leagues reputation. I suppose I should be grateful, but I'm not as they have beaten us convincingly just about every time we play them. our head to head records and last 15 competitive games: Andorra - Andorra have not surprising not managed to qualify for the Euros or World Cup and their world ranking has dropped from ~150 to 187. They have managed six victories since 2021 (all against either San Marino, Malta or Gibraltar) - 2025 was a particularly lean year where Andorra lost every game and scored just twice all year (10 games). Andorra do have one player, a real player called Iker Álvarez, who plays in the Spanish second division. Ildefons Lima remains the most capped player and top scorer for Andorra. What a legend! Portugal - currently 7th in the world rankings, having fluctuated between 7 and 13 for the last seven years. Portugal reached the semi-final of the 2028 euros and the quarter final of the 2024 Euros. They reached the semi-final of the 2026 World Cup and were knocked out in the group stage in the 2022 World Cup. Their two top players are real players (Ruben Dias at Man City and Joao Felix at Chelsea). The highest valued newgen in the national team is Alvaro Ferraz, a defender who joined Liverpool for £37m in 25/26 (3+ years ago) from Rio Ave in Portugal. He has 28 caps at the age of 21. League: The league has been dominated by Porto and Benfica, with these 2 teams finishing 1st and 2nd in all but two seasons, where Sporting and Brage were able to push into a second place (28/29 was won by Benfica with Porto second). libbyshuss Posted March 26, 2022 Share Posted March 26, 2022 Italy Novara FC Serie C 26/27 (season 5) Season Summary Weird season. what looked like being our worst season yet suddenly turned into our best at the end. We were inconsistent befre christmas but just consistent enough to stay in the play off placs. Then we went on a 12 match winless run that pushed us much closer to the relegation spots than I'd have liked. But then we won 5 of our last 8 matches and stole the final play off spot right at the death! Our final game of the season was a 3-0 defeat away at Triestina, who had also knocked us out of the play-offs last season. So guess who we were playing in round 1 od the play-offs this season? Yep! All the way to the 3rd round! And we were really unlucky against Pordeone. But it's the furthest we've got yet! Players The team is coming on! they are young but there's some really, really good players developing here. If I can keep hold of them a promotion push can't be too far away. Gianlguigi Coppola 25A is the star of the team. He still has 2 seasons left on his contract and wants to leave - i told him for 550k, he can. we'll see what happens there Youth An ok preview but an amazing intake. Only two elite talents but I'm fine with that when one of them is amazing! Fiorenzo looks ridiculously good. I immediately signed him to a 3 year contract but realistically someone is gonna come in for him. Look how good his attriubtes are at 15!!! Straight into the first team from next season! Finances and Upgrades So we ended the season 2m in debt when the chairman decided to retire and sell up. So we were in the middle of a takeover war and it didn't look too good for me! and, yep, the dude who wanted to replace me won.... and yeah, he apparently really did want to replace me. But he was thinking about it.... I'm the Steve Bruce of third tier Italian football! eeep! Phew! Debts cleared and our balance stands at 500k now. And i'm still in a job! As others have said I think they only became eligible on this years game due to being in the leagues in real life and now with the changes to Russia in the latest update Russian sides don't play in Europe now so again makes them illegible. Popular Post Ronaldo Beckham Posted March 26, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted March 26, 2022 SC Toulon Season 8 Review A decent season overall considering the fact the morale wasn't very good cos of the previous season relegation but also losing our best player Toual didn't help either. Just missed out on the play offs but I am confident SC Toulon will go up next season. Best Players Zoumana Simpara - 31 Year Malian Striker Despite only having 6 in Finishing attribute Simpara definitely knows how to score the goals and was my top scorer with 19 goals which is very good for the 31 year old who was originally a winger. He also had the best overall rating with a 7.48 and also got 15 assists. He was definitely our MVP this season. I am hoping his goals spur us onto promotion next season. Here is a screenshot of the rest of the squad. My favourite player Baba Toure will be leaving the club in the summer as he is off to finish his career in Romania. I will look to bring him back as a coach once he retires. He will go down as a Club Legend and he will be sorely missed. Youth Fixtures The youth team ended up going out at the first hurdle after winning the cup the previous season, but they have managed back-to-back promotions! Yes I think in FM20, they were in the FNL. I had managed at Wil from 2019 to 2026 so I thought taking them over may fall into this. No matter for me, I see playing with them as an enforced youth academy challenge but not within the rules of this particular youth academy challenge due to the playable leagues and my reputation being built at Wil. Season Details League Table - An eighth place finish is way higher than anyone could of expected. It enabled the club to qualify for the promotion playoffs. Thirteenth placed Telstar were promoted! League Fixtures 1 & 2 - When we lost, we lost big. However, we won more than we lost so had a huge season of overachievement, despite a poor second half of the campaign. Promotion Playoffs - A narrow defeat over the two legs to FC Emmen by one goal to nil eliminated the club in the first round. TOTO KNVB Beker - Very disappointing. We had a glorious chance to reach the third round but lost away to VVSB, who play at least one league below us, in a dreadful performance in the second round. Friendlies - It was a decent pre season campaign, playing plenty of bigger clubs and we only lost twice. Squad - We are not good enough to perform at the level we achieved this season. Squad Dynamics - After such a good season, this is looking great. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - I lost two highly rated youngsters on free transfers as they refused to sign new deals. Youth Candidates - It was a reasonable intake with Belgian advanced midfielder Alain Garnier YP25A1 looking like the best prospect. Finances - We made a profit this season, so we have a healthy bank balance. Key Players Tim Linthorst - The veteran central defender had his best campaign in years. Splinter de Mooij - Our best player who wishes to remain an amateur. He was exceptional throughout the season. Segun Owobowale - Comfortable on either wing, he set up quite a few goals and was a regular goalscorer too. Kenny Teijsse - Playing at either left back or on the left hand side of midfield, the vastly experienced campaigner was good enough. Tuana Özdemir - The Turkish goalkeeper played better than I expected. Next Season I would be happy with just being safe. I don't think we can repeat this year. Is Malta fun? I'm loving Malta, way back in FM16 I started a journeyman at Xgħajra Tornadoes. The players are rubbish but it's been so well researched and almost every player in Malta has a face which is even better, there's youth leagues with promotion & relegation and a youth cup as well. I can't fault it! I'd also be interested in Mdina Knights, purely because they're the club based in the area with the smallest population (Mdina, 243.)
