libbyshuss
South Africa Premier Soccer League - 2034/35 League: 4th Champions League: Quarter Final well, what I was hoping was a romp to the league title to add to our Champions League triumph last season turned into a transitionary season. The Champions League win made our players much more visible and two of the best got stolen away from right under our eyes. Stupid minumum release clauses! so we had to rebuild..... Kaizer Chiefs were head and shoulders above everyone else and they were the bane of our existence. They knocked us out the cup 6-1 and battered us in the Champions League quarter final too, gaining revenge for last season. Players Top Scorer: 39. Phakamani Molefe 25K with 29 goals from Player of the Season: 39. Phakamani Molefe 25K with an AR of 7.57 I love the fact my most consistent and important player was the 11th best looking prospect from my first youth intake! Who woulda thunk? But he's just so so consistent, easily outperforming his attributes But..... They stole away my first potential wonderkid! For a paltry 400k! Without even a sell on! Youth I got a preview! pretty good! two A grades, but I think the three strikers might have slightly skewed that Career I haven't decided yet but I might carry on if I complete this and go for the pentagon. Can you do it just with vanilla databases?

Popular Post Gonner
Austria Salzburg, Season 13, 2036/2037 Season Recap : . Did not leave much suspense but BOY WE DID THE TREBLE !! We manage to do even better than last season in the first phase by drawing 2 and losing 2 only. Our schedule was somewhat weirdly constructed, we were facing RB Salzburg, Austria Wien, SK Sturm & SK Rapid in the first 4 games which meant the rest of the games were against supposedly inferior opposition. Both of our losses in the regular season were against our cross-town rival. But they lost some points against other teams so this is how we began the second phase : Over the last 10 games, we were amazing, drew both games against Salzburg and one at home against Wien, to get us 24 points out of a possible 30. It was way more than we needed because Salzburg had a very poor end of season and only hung on to 2nd place by virtue of their regular season point total. There are still 6 Austrian clubs playing in Europe but Sturm lost against 7-th placed SV Ried who will play in C4. In the Cup, we get to face Austria's 3 best teams, but nevertheless we get to celebrate in the end after beating Salzburg on penalties. Finally, in Europe we advance against Young Boys in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League before narrowly losing against Köln in the barrage. We thus get to play in Europa League and, supposedly, against lesser-quality opponents (apart maybe from the Spurs). But in reality Olympiacos, Guimaraes and even Granada are surprinsingly good, which means that in the end some of the teams we faced ended up 1st, 2nd, 4th & 9th. We still manage to get direct qualification by finishing 7th. We then get to play the next two rounds against two French teams that are having similar disappointing seasons, deep in the Ligue 1 midfield and advance to the semis where there are 2 European giants and SK Rapid. I had hoped for a home match-up but instead we get Milan. We win 2-0 at home in convincing fashion, both goals coming from Walter on a Domke assist, but then during the first week of May we lose Lang & Hartmann to (minor) injuries that will still sideline them for the remainder of the season. We go to San Siro with youngsters on the left wing, lose 3-0 until stoppage time when Banecki, one of our 2037 regen, scores at the 91st minute. He adds one in extra-time but we concede once more and go to penalties. The first 5 go through for both teams, then Banecki (him again!) scores the 6th and Milan misses to get us to the final ! We win this final 3-0, the score is very flattering, all goals coming at the very end of the game. After we scored the first one they threw everything they had to try to equalize and we added 2 more on counter-attacks. Transfers : Mostly loans out, we say goodbye to Bogdanovic & Kiene now that we finally got some proper regens in Defense. Bah also signed to leave on a free transfer at the end of his contract to join Zenit due to a lack of playing time. Gül went on loan to LASK with a 2M€ option and they decided to keep him, on the one hand I am sad that his potential never materialized in Bundesliga but he had recurring periods of inefficiency in front of the goal and I could not justify keeping him on the field instead of Walter. Speaking of people leaving us at the end of their contract, I am beyond pissed to see Ciric walk and go to Austria Wien. I knew there was a 99% chance of him leaving, but he kept saying he wanted to go to a bigger club and he ends up with F***ING AUSTRIA WIEN ???? I should have sold him to Newcastle for 30+M when they inquired last offseason. Anyway, rant over, but this transfer really does not make sense to me. Finances : Finally keeping true to my word not to overload this with screenshots, finances are good. Going all the way in Europa League gives us less money than going past the pool phase of Champions League, so our prize money went from 42M€ to 29M€, but our balance remained steady around 50/55 M€. Absolutely no worries there. Squad : I believe all our success this year came from the fact that we no longer have a weak point in our first XI now that Bohmer is my second best-CB. He can still improve but I am now really confident in my Beuth - Böhmer - Bertram - Aksu back 4. In midfield,Mohr & Bauer is a very solid pair. As said above, losing Ciric beyond sucks, he clearly was our best player and we do not really have another true right winger, in all likeliness Domke will be our go-to-guy, with Walter a potential second option, in which case we would turn to our recent youth ranks for our starting striker. On the left wing Lang is progressing nicely and will probably become better than Hartmann next season. Up front Walter is still our main guy, Diegmann is a nice surprise, he can be our second striker when we play in 4-4-2 or our AMC-Enganche in 4-2-3-1. Now that we solved our weak links in defense, the hard task begins, we basically need improvements everywhere if we want to finish this challenge. Except Ciric and maybe Beuth, no other player is world-class in that team and one of the aforementioned is leaving us... Admin & Facilities : So, after spending 4 seasons with the youth facilities stuck at "superb", I finally got the possibility to ask fore improvements when my training facilities grade got degraded. The board refused the improvement for the youth facilities but were OK with making sure the training facilities came back to their recent standards. A couple of days later, the President is asking me to meet with him to discuss... the idea of improving the youth facilities... I gladly accept and I am just left wondering what changed in 7 days... Hopefully we will reach the max for both. Bonus (Accolades, Best Wonderkids, Weird & Funny Stuff): Révélation Two of our players in the best 20 wonderkids. We also kept our 5th rank in the list of best academies in the world. Our centre-back pair selected in the team of the year, would not have bet on it a few seasons ago ! Our reputation is now up to continental. Again, Ciric wanted to leave for a bigger club and joined Austria Wien??? The Austrian League is now part of the "top 5". 7 out of 12 teams will get to play in Europe, 4 of them in Champions League. Speaking of Champions League, it is now starting to look more and more like the FA Cup... Beating all those English teams will not be easy... And there are still the likes of Tottenham, Aston Villa or Brentford performing very well in Europa League... Youth Intake : Preview was promising, intake seems good as well. 4 elite talents & 2 top initially, but they all became elite after being signed, Dresing & Bosch gaining half a star of potential ! Engin Berk Hervenik : Another GK, like clockwork, every odd year. Schwab, our 31' GK, seems to almost be at Kovacic's level. Brandl (33) has not really progressed so he will probably go. Bruneck (35) is supposedly better than all, but now Hervenik is the new wonderkid. Progression is slower for goalies than for other players, but I wonder what is best in those situations, lending players or keeping them with us so they have access to the best facilities? The good thing is that we will be playing in the Youth League next season, so that could help. Hervenik is also considered injury-prone, seeing how FM24 is with GK injuries that is not promising. Révélation Justin Bosch : First of our top-turned-elite guy. Unambitious, so I do not have high hopes of him dislodging Aksu. Révélation Sascha Trummer : Seems to have the potential to be better than Böhmer. Good, we need to start becoming marginally better everywhere. Révélation Christopher Dresing : Weird beast. Natural as an attacking midfielder but possesses the technical quality to be a Ball Winning Midfielder. Will train him to play that position. Révélation Thomas Ortner: Another elite AM coming up, that will be 5 in a row with Diegmann (33), Decker (34), Rabl (35), Seferovic (36) and now Ortner. Diegmann is now part of our first XI and rated 5 star in terms of potential, Decker & Seferovic have only 4, Rabl has 4.5. But Ortner already has 2 stars in current ability, same as Decker and 0.5 more than Rabl & Seferovic. Révélation Nicklas Banecki: Another Striker that can play on the wings, his brace against Milan saved us from elimination. We have had a lot of promising strikers over the recent years but none really challenged Walter so far, maybe Banecki will. Révélation 7 years after : A quick look at what our 2030 youth became. 2 elite & 4 top talents at the time when we were firmly established in Bundesliga. 7 years later, no one plays with us anymore, so we go straight to Those who left us : Svetozar Rakic, AM left for 9M€ to join Manchester City in July 2032 and since then has won a total of ... 0 appearances with the first team. His contract is expiring at the end of the season and I have no regret that he left us without a fee on a future transfer because we would not have gotten anything. Kind of a shame all those guys leave too early, I would have loved having him and Ciric. Haris Mujkic, RW did not play a single game with us, left on a free to join a Bosnian club at the end of his youth contract. Most likely a bad evaluation of our then-HoY. Mohammed Azzouzi, ST followed the same path and went home after his youth contract, so far only managing to play in Belgian amateur leagues. Pero Kirnbauer, CM was purchased for 43K€ by Grazer AK in 2032, not having played a single minute with our first team. He has played only twice for them in 2nd Liga, mostly sticking with their B team. Joachim Ehret, RW joined FAC Wien at the end of his youth contract but over 3 years only made one appearance with them. He is set to become a free agent at the end of this month. Joshua Wagner, RB was purchased by Wolfsberger AC B team for 105K€ and then flipped the next season to our rival Innsbruck for 275K€ without having played a single minute !! His career with Innsbruck has not been more succesful. All in all a very disappointing intake ! leyrtj
Luverdense - Brazil - 2029 - Season 3 - Campeonato Braileiro Serie C (Tier 3) - 2nd (promoted via the plaoffs) Last season's last gasp relegation escape might be the most important season in this save. This season, with the addition of 3 of last season's youth intake, and a year's first team football for the youth intake from two seasons ago, we managed to secure promotion. We finished second in the league, then only needed to win the play off quarter finals to gain promotion to Serie B. Given the financial troubles the club is heading towards, the promotion is much needed. Luverdense History Mauriki History The squad is now mostly youth players coming through. We have a really good core of players at GK, Def and Mid, but not much coming through on the wings and up front. We will need a good striker at some point. A number of the original squad will retire this year, giving an opportunity for youth to step up. I hope we can stay up, but I have the feeling we wouldn't be sacked if we get relegated. The AI teams contiune to hunt our players. Last season, after we got out youth intake, by the time the players accepted their youth contract, there were already teams interested and they wouldn't sign proper contracts. I somehow managed to keep hold of all of them and got them to sign a contract in small windows when teams weren't interested. Hopefully promotion will make this easier. Out best player, who came through the youth intake last year. He's improved so quickly, I'm guessing his PA is pretty high. We already can't afford a contract renewal, so either we get promoted soon or we'll lose him. One more year and I'd then be happy to sell with a sell-on. An okay youth intake. No one special came through and the talents were in positions where we already had players.

Popular Post KibworthBull
Yayasan Pahang Maintenance FC - Season 1 - 2024 Season Review Table | Results | Results Pt2| Squad | Transfers Honestly, the minimal requirement was that my opening line wasn't talking about getting sacked during the season. We have overperformed on this and I am slightly surprised. We started with a basic 4-4-2, simply because it's a formation I understand - very basic at the back, straight lines in midfield and two up top. Very 1990s. My type of Football. This got us our first league win, and through a cup round but it was very much getting lucky rather than playing well. The biggest problem was in the centre of the pitch. We had Muhd Badrul Amin Jesmi, who is more a DM, and a collection of full-backs training to be his partner. Effectively everybody was a defensive-minded midfielder, so why not drop them back and make them both DM's? It worked. June was unbeaten, we were even briefly in the promotion slots, and through the rest of the season we picked up enough points to be close enough to the top to keep things interesting, and far enough from the bottom for things to get interesting. Even going into the season's last match, we had a mathematical chance of promotion. Our not-so-secret weapons were the twin strikers - Nur Aliff Farhan Norasma and Mohd Azammuddin Mohd Akil Intake Elite | Top I think I've got 2 who are going to feature heavily next season. Soh Jeremy 24A is a striker that excites me a great deal. 16 finishing, one of my strikers last season is 39 so it's out with the old and in with the new. Good technique, and good determination. He'll do well. Ishak Anuar 24B has played, becoming our youngest-ever player in the process. He's a left-back. It's good enough to be the second choice already. I let 3 go after their trials. I'm going to try and bed them in gently. I've made mistakes in the past where I've gone too deep too quickly and lived to regret it. I now have enough players to fill the bench every week, something I never did this season. Summary Happy with the first season, but worried about our ability to progress. The finances at the club are "not great" and there is little chance to improve things. There doesn't appear to be any prize money for this league and the cup only gives prize money to the winner. Something we ain't going to do for a while. We should be good enough to have a steady year next year, and we were close to the top 2, maybe with a bit more depth, we can get into the mix. The Story So far...

glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 11 - Japan J2 League - End of Season Review League - 5th (Playoffs) So despite losing 3 of our best players we continued to play very well throughout the season. We ended up in 5th and were in the playoffs in only our 2nd season in the J2 League. We were the best attacking team in the league and would come up against Sendai, in the playoff semi final, who were the 2nd best defending team in the league. Playoff Semi Final We started the game so poorly and just continued to play terrible football throughout. We couldn't get a foothold in the game, couldn't keep the ball, my best players were awful and nothing went well. All of that work in the league and to show up to the playoffs and play this badly, wow what a terrible account of ourselves. I do think that in this game it showed that we were missing some players (the 2 that left already and a couple of injuries), but regardless we didn't deserve to win the match and therefore will spend a 3rd season in the J2 league. The Squad As mentioned we were badly hit by the sale of 3 of our best players from under our noses, but we still have some promising youngsters in the squad. Our best eleven highlights the fact that two of them are gone and with Kenta Kawai (YP08B) leaving at the end of this season, we may have a bit of a rebuilding year on our hands. Kazuya Ikeda (YP07H) came out of nowhere (he was recalled from loan after the sale of Yuta Tabata (YP07A) and was immense in the 17 games that he player for us. Hopefully he can fill that void up front (that was made by our legacy player Ryu Joseph Hashimura retiring). Other News Our Sponsorship has gone way up and with record sales we will be okay on the finances front for a while. We also had a record average attendance (which can only help with the finances). Youth Intake Our youth intake is so late in the season that I have started including it in the end of year review. We had a solid if not spectacular intake, also not a great bunch of personalities unfortunately. It seems like we have quality instead of quantity this time, with 4 very good looking players. Note: I signed all players tagged in the 2nd screenshot. Top 4 - Youth Intake 11 Hironori Ono (YP11A) We could always do with more defenders so getting a good CB is a welcome sight. He has an 8 or higher in most of the important attributes, with the exception of needing to work on his Strength and Jumping reach. He id definitely someone I can see making it to the first team sooner rather than later, as he comes in and already is my 4th best CB. Masami Asano (YP11B) What a beast. At almost 6 foot 4 he is a nice big striker. He is Ambitious and I think he can be a starter within the next few years. The 12 finishing is nice to see, but he can definitely only play as a poacher and not a Advanced Forward as his passing is pretty woeful. Yuki Sasaki (YP11C) After losing my 4* Left Winger I have really struggled on the left hand side. Thankfully it seems as if the gap may be filled. Yes he has some work to do, his passing desperately needs to improved, but he can dribble, has good crossing and decent physicals. Another who could be in the first team sooner rather than later. Satoru Hashimoto (YP11D) Another bigger player (which we need). At 6 foot 2 he will be my biggest CB. He also has decent attributes throughout, but the mentals definitely need some work before he cracks the first team. I do honestly believe that from this intake we have two CBs that could be first team ready in the next 2-3 years and possibly even be starters. Fat Controller
Season Review 2025/26 (Season 2) Trapani Calcio League The season preview had us predicted to finish 19th and to battle for survival. The board had demanded that we avoided relegation at all costs. Considering we had finished 7th in the previous season, I was very confident that we would survive another year in the division and hopefully push for a playoff spot. The loss of Andrea Cocco would be big, but how big? We didn't end up missing him much at all as we spent much of the season around mid table and comfortably safe for another year. A fantastic last two months saw us climb up the table finishing in a remarkable 4th spot. Agostino Mascari was the surpise player of the year, banging in 21 goals for us after starting the year as the backup striker. Unfortunately he was injured for the playoffs. However, like last season, we were defeated in the first playoff match we played. Losing 2-0 to Pescara was a tough pill to swallow after such a fantastic season. It was probably our best chance at promotion due to the aging nature of the squad and the lack of youth products coming through the academy. Spoiler Youth Intake The youth intake again was poor with nothing much to write about here Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Upgrades No upgrades and no coaching badges were approved by the board this season. I did get a new contract though. Key Points After the successful year that we had, I was appointed Manager of the Year Spoiler Our 38 Year old DL Sergio Sabatino decided to retire at the end of the year. A mainstay in our team and someone who we struggled to replace when he did not play. With nothing coming through, we may have to change tactics next season. glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 12 - Japan J2 League - Mid Year Review & Youth Intake Preview League So far we have had an up and down season. At times we beat the best teams in the league and then we go and lose against the bottom teams. I was so into my recent turn of good form (4 wins and a draw in 5 games) that I forgot to take the screenshot at the true half way point of 19 games. It's all to play for, as realistically a good run could get us in the top 6 or a bad run could see us battling relegation. Youth Intake Preview We have another questionable preview. Hopefully this will again turn in quality over quantity, as at this point we need some strong players to add to the group. A winger would be valuable as we are still looking for a good starter on both sides (LW and RW). Other News We managed to get a Training Facility upgrade, which should help with getting the players to their potential and is always a goal when you get a bit of money in the bank. So luckily all of the sales last year have allowed us to splurge a bit. We also managed to have our 500th game in charge of the club. Still in J2 league, but feel like we are making progress. Fat Controller
Season Review 2026/27 (Season 3) Trapani Calcio League Year 3 of this challenge and we had a different looing side for the season ahead. Predicted to finish 17th by the experts and the first half of the season looked absolutely spot on. We struggled for form, struggled to score goals and kept losing morale at the worst times. The winter break enabled us to schedule a few friendlies against some much weaker opposition to get our mojo back and that worked for a little bit before it was back to more of the same. A tactical tweak late in the year brought about a change in our fortunes as we came storming to home to finish in 11th, 1 place outside of the promotion playoffs. Spoiler Youth Intake Another poor preview and another poor intake. This makes the challenge very difficult as all our best players are aging and there is nothing coming through Spoiler Spoiler Upgrades No upgrades or coaching bagdes were approved this season Key Points I reached 100 games in management Spoiler Transfers Spoiler

XaW
Uhh.... I suspect there is in an issue in the file I'm using for Papua New Guinea... The rules say the two best teams in the top tier will qualify for the Oceania Champions League, but I suddenly got an info I'm playing there now.... and I have no idea why??? I looked a bit further, and noticed the winner of the league last season is NOT qualified, but my team and the team that finished mid-table last season are in. So I have no idea how the team is picked for the CL here... I will add a few other Oceania leagues into the save, but I might have to go there unless I figure out how the game picks what teams to enter... Edit: I looked into it a bit, and it turns out ourselves and the other team were top of the league on Feb 1st, so perhaps the game picks the teams who are top, at that point rather than the last winner and runner-up? @darren1983 is it ok if I continue this, or should I move to another country in Oceania? XaW
XaW - Markham FC (Papua New Guinea) - Season 2041/42 (Season 19) - Kumul Petroleum National Soccer League Squad | Transfers | Finances That's a season and a half! We crushed the league on the first try, as well as almost doing the CL in our first (albeit undeserved) try! If this is the level we are competing against, the stint in Oceania might be much slower than North America! Papua Cup: We did not play in it this season for whatever reason. Oceania Champions League: We somehow got added in here, and I think there is an issue in the database, but we gave it our all anyway. In the group stage we drew Wellington Olympic of New Zealand, AMB Galaxy of Vanuatu, and Henderson Eels of the Solomon Islands. We won one, drew one, and lost one, and ended up in 2nd place in the group and went through to the knockouts. Then we faced fellow Papua New Guinean side Oro (PNG) in the quarter final and beat them. The we had rematches against Wellington Olympic of New Zealand who beat us in the group stage. However, we now won both legs to get into the final.. There we faced the team who had won it the 4 last seasons, AS Piraé of Tahiti. We held them to a 1-1 draw at full time, but they scored twice in extra time to win it. So close to a massive achievement, but we go again next season... I hope! KibworthBull
2025 Review - Season 2 Transfers | Results 1 | Results 2| Squad | Squad 2| Table An extremely mixed campaign - we started well, but couldn't seem to win many. I was hopeful. It was good. Then we stopped winning and for a couple of months, draws were the best we could find. Thankfully we were always just a touch ahead of the bottom two, out of sight, just, but still in mind. A couple of wins late in the campaign got us over the magical 30-point mark and we were safe for another year. Nowhere near promotion at any point. I was hoping for a little better, but it's still extremely early days. 8th overall. Let's talk successes. Soh Jeremey 24A, 2 goals on his debut, he never really looked back. Ended with 19 goals in his first season, top scorer for the club, and his 16 league goals put him 4th in the overall charts. He has a contract for 1 year, plus a year extension. We shall need his goals. Due to retirement, Khairul Sani 24I played a lot of football, possibly too many but we didn't have many alternatives. He did okay, but we did concede plenty across the season. Mohd Nazrin Redzuan 24K got in due to injury and started very well. I got excited but then he conceded 13 in 3 games and it went a bit south. All of the 24s saw some action. It wasn't always good but it was enough to stay up. The Cup saw the furthest round reached, and we hosted the mighty Selangor in the 2nd Round - surely that's a game where fans flock to the ground and the 3,000 capacity stadium bulges right? No. 289 bothered to show up and watch the eventual champions of the competition beat us 1-0. We are 5k better off than this time last year, but it's still not a good enough picture to get any improvements or even a coaching badge Intake Elite | Top | Good I've signed them all. Not because they are fantastic, just to give me as many options as I can next season. We have 1 definitely going on a free, and 1 retiring so at least 2 players will leave. We might need to think about a change of formation as we have a host of AMCs in the intake. Our best two coming through are both AMCs - Abdul Razak Basir 25D and Krishnan Arasu 25B, as well as a Right Winger - Muhd Firdaus Mohd Nasir 25E - as well as making a mockery of my scaling - I do it when they first arrive and before they sign deals... they also encourage a 4-2-3-1 formation. We tried it on the last game of the season and got beat 4-2. The Story So Far...

BustaRaymes
I've been lagging behind on my updates, so here goes: FC Vaajakoski 2028 Finnish First Division Again no real trouble here, as we keep developing our younger players. Squad Sjöberg had a good season and is developing well. His attacking qualities make him very useful compared to Rönkä. In midfield, Björn is still our key man. Whether playing as a playmaker or as a BBM, his versatility really is an asset. Kuittinen has made a huge leap this year. He was not really a huge talent, but during his loan spells he developed well. This year he exploded, even making it to top scorer. Liimatainen remains an enigma. He's really not that good but he's pacy and unpredictable. He popped up hugely when needed this season, scoring 11 in 14 starts and 7 subs. Transfers Nuija, Suihkonen and Salmo are no longer needed with the youth we have now. Youth intake Another decent set of players and even some good personalities to go with them. I like Fdaouch, Miftari and Siren. Mäenpää has all the skills I like, but we need to get that Unambitious off of him. BustaRaymes
FC Vaajakoski 2029 Finnish First Division A bas, BAD season. We played ourselves into trouble, probably triggered by my tactic-tinkering, and narrowly avoided relegation. The extra league with weaker opponents really saved our butts here. It does make me see that we may not be developing in the way I thought we were. Looking at the youth players we should be doing better every season, but we don't. Is it the tactic? Are the others just developing with us? Or does the pre-season overview, which is still putting us in relegation spots, just have a point? Squad We did develop though. Our youngsters improved heaps and especially the front three have really settled in well. Experienced fullback Sarkkinen was the pick at the back this year. He was playing in a more advanced role and his 9 assists show that. We do need some youth in midfield though. Björn still being our leading man can't be the master plan here. Max Syrjä was the big man this year, contributing 18 goals to the cause. Transfers Youth intake Look at all those Fairly Professionals <3 The top three are all good prospects. Rautiainen is a great fullback already, Haarala and Haapala have stuff to learn but could be in the team soon. Saarela is the first goalie we got in years, I'm curious if he can develop beyond Uusitalo's level. We do need him to.
