Popular Post BustaRaymes
FC Vaajakoski 2039 Finnish Premier Division A slight improvement bus not as good as we hoped. We were mediocre all season and got in a slump towards the end. The home loss against KuPS in the playoffs says it all. Squad We were kind of forced to change formation. There is not enough quantity in midfield, but we do have good wingers and about 4 or 5 good but interchangeable strikers. None of them is a natural goalscorer so we went with a hard working one and a pacey one in the end. We were struggling a lot converting chances. The best should be Byman and he scored a total of 1 goal this season. Kähkönen continued his development into the next season, growing his rating and attributes nicely. Heinonen is the experienced rock at the back, but others are coming for his spot. Not sure what to so with this as he never lets us down. Nyholm burst into the team and seems to be the next big thing to look outside of Finland. He's tied down though and I plan to keep him for a while. Nykänen was not really on my radar but we needed him and he delivered. Nice fast winger. Transfers We needed to put in a lot of players, as Napoli just kept coming for us. Filankembo and Granholm followed Lähderinne, with us getting 50& on a next sale. Youth intake Again with the strikers! Malm and Nordlund both look talented, curious to see how they'll turn out to be. Korhonen has some potential I think, but he's a boring type of right back.
Popular Post CJ'43
Kavala Football Club / Αθλητικός Όμιλος Καβάλα Season 16 - 2039/40 Schedule / Squad / Transfers / Finances / Manager Season Summary: another historic season culminated in our best finish yet. We clinched the top spot in the regular season, though we encountered some struggles in the championship group. Nevertheless, we secured our first-ever Champions League qualification in a thrilling final match against Panathinaikos. In the Greek Cup, we advanced to the semi-finals but were ultimately defeated by Olympiacos. Our journey began in the Europa League, marking our inaugural participation, but unfortunately, we faced disappointment, exiting the tournament with a 4-0 aggregate loss to Baník Ostrava. Undeterred, we transitioned to the Conference League, reaching the group stage and finishing 10th overall. Subsequently, we qualified for the knockout stages, where we overcame Rakow but were defeated by Twente in the Round of 16. Following Efthymis Christou's triumph three years ago, Panagiotis Kangelidis emerged as the latest recipient of the European Golden Boy award. Additionally, he earned the distinction of being ranked the second most promising wonderkid in football by NXGN. Dimitris Chatzigiannis was honored as the Talent of the Year in the Super League, while Apostolos Karounis secured third place. Vasilis Kyrialanis, our goalkeeper, clinched the runner-up position in the GK of the Year award, mirroring my own second-place finish in the Manager of the Year category. Furthermore, three of our players—Andreas Niniadis, Nikos Siaperas, and Kostas Magafinis—earned spots in the league's Best XI, with Niniadis also being named the league's top Greek player. Magafinis emerged as our top goalscorer with 17 goals, while Gersi Kuqi proved to be our most consistent performer, boasting an average of 7.13 points per game. Looking ahead, the board announced plans for the expansion of our stadium, with an investment of approximately 16.5 million euros aimed at increasing its capacity to around 30,000 spectators. Additionally, in response to a recent downgrade, our youth facilities are set to undergo significant improvements, supported by an investment of around 1.2 million euros. Youth intake: our youth intake showcased several promising players, such as Stefanos Torosidis 40a and Christos Vertopoulos 40b, and a few emerging from our partnerships abroad. Notably, our U19s secured their seventh consecutive league title in a commanding fashion. Team history: Manager history:
vikeologist
Vikeologist's Víkingur 2028 Season Report I jinxed myself in my last post by saying that Keflavik haven’t even come close to promotion since winning the Icelandic Cup. Guess who went on a late season run of form and beat us in the playoff final. We were the better side in the final, but we’d probably used up all our luck previously. We really needed promotion. The cup run definitely made my players jaded and affected our league campaign. Squad Top Goalscorer – Kristófer Máni Atlason – 25 Went back to my favoured lone striker formation. Not a great tally for Atlason. Highest Average Rating (minimum 10 matches played) – Jón Árnason 27a – 7.51 Not bad for his first season. My second best attacking midfielder, but at 17 he could improve a lot. His Perfectionist personality could be equally important. Man of The Match – Jón Árnason 27a – 7 Most Valuable Player– Hlynur Vilhjálmsson 25a Just one year left on my young central defender’s contract. My worry is that he’ll sign with someone else mid-season, even if we finally achieve promotion. At the moment, my first team will be unchanged next year, but it’s possible some of the most recent intake may challenge by the time the season proper kicks off. Youth Intake Konráð Þórðarson 28a – Looks good. Problem is I don’t use an attacking right winger. Do I use him as a striker, which is his secondary but inferior position, or as a right winger, which he can barely play at the moment. He’s tiny, and my right wing is definitely the weak position in the team because the promising players I’ve used haven’t progressed. I just hope he can learn the position. Þorvaldur Sigurðsson 28b – A left winger. He’s a little behind my starter, but if he can catch up, there’s a pathway for him. Haukur Már Sigurþórsson 28c – Another promising goalie. I already have a 5 star prospect who can’t get games, so difficult to see this guy getting opportunities. Season Division Position Notes 2024 1 4th Icelandic Cup Q/F, Playoffs S/F. 2025 1 10th Survived on last day of the season. 2026 1 4th League Cup losing finalists. Playoffs S/F 2027 1 4th Playoff S/F 2028 1 5th Icelandic Cup. Lost in playoff final.
toshimitzou1
FC Jazz Season Review: 2023/24 As first seasons in the YAC go I cannot complain. Predicted to finish 10th, in the relegation zone but in fact finished 4th and made it to the the play-off semi - finals before losing to the strongest team in the competition (AC Oulu - whom actually won the Finnish domestic cup as a lower division team!!!). Transfer History: Plans for next season: As shown in an earlier post I had an excellent youth intake based on our current squad and will look to integrate the best players instantly. I will also have to devise a new tactical approach as our national reputation is greatly increased and we struggled against the lesser teams in the second half of the season. My plans are going to rely heavily on building around this guy: Already consistent with high Bravery, (addressing a massive squad issue - all four of my incumbent central midfielders have less than 5 for Bravery! Who recruits these guys?) and naturally fit, I've really got to consider a shape that can get him involved on and off the ball as much as possible. Really like those two native PPM's as well. I'll post again when I've settled on a tactic and First XI for next season. Good luck all.
Cardiovascular
2024/25 - Needham Market Spoiler It was a solid enough first season for us in the VNLN as we finished eight points clear of relegation in 19th place. Though we flirted with the relegation places, we were never actually stuck down there aside from a two week period at the midpoint of the season. Towards the end, we picked up some really good results and eventually, we pulled away from the pack to safety. This allowed us to play some of our brand new youth players for the final few games & scope out what we were working with now. The FA Cup saw us thump Whitley Bay 6-2 before being beaten by Basford from the league below in the Third Qualifying Round. Poor. The FA Trophy saw us exit at the Fourth Round, losing to Macclesfield after beating Nuneaton by a single goal and then eventual league winners Scunthorpe by three in a somewhat surprising result for us. Key Players Spoiler Spoiler Nathan Minhas was a star for us, top scoring with a terrific return of 27 goals in 43 appearances. His partner up top, Dontai Stewart, returned a respectable 16 goals & 7 assists to provide some help of his own when Minhas was off for or injured. Callum Page was primarily used as a right winger over the season, he suffered a touch from inconsistency, but when he was on form he showed why he was our best player. 17 assists is another top return. Youth Intake Spoiler Ian Miller and Luke Yeo both look really good mentally, and both are ready for first team football right away almost. Yeo will likely retrain as a DM with Miller taking the CM spot you can see on the tactic above. Ciaren Prudhoe-Lazzari not only has a great name, but he'll replace the outgoing Reece Harris who is retiring at the end of the season. The intake has provided us plenty depth, expecting Popescu, Eloi, Charlie Williams and Andrilius to be up and around the first team next season. Next Season Aiming for survival again!

Division Status with a lot of youth playing first team football I decided to cull some of the older members of the team and also has a few retirements, Best performer only just turned 18 with an impressive goal record, too bad he is talking about leaving Managed to get my star midfielder to sign on for another year, did offer him for sale but no takers Finished towards the bottom end of the table again, still got a fairly poor side for this level especially in defence, dont seem to be getting any full backs coming through so far, so i have had to resort to training midfielders into defenders Forgot to take a screen shot of the youth players, it was a supposed excellent take but I only signed 4 or 5 of them, was some terrible personalities and awful stats so I let most go. star of the intake below and he doesnt look that great to me got a couple of upgrades, one for junior coaching and one for youth recruitment Still no coaching badges onto the next year Not posted the last few seasons, been busy/ on holiday etc Karsiyaka 7th Season Review Quite a bit has happened since my last post, I made it to the top division and I have been flirting with relegation every year. Facilities are vastly improved Death, Taxes and Porto buying my players This year I decided not to get too attached to players as an unhappy squad was a feature every year after jan I sold all my best players with 50% sell on clauses Aksu I really didn't want to sell as I always struggle with fullbacks but psg came calling and he didn't want to stay. Isler was my best player and a great goalscorer from the rw I really expected to struggle as all the sales really weakened my team and left me with about 20 players in total(including youth) Strangely I had my best season by far, the gulf between the top 5 and the rest is massive. 4 or 5 of my first team were only 16 last year so I really have had to trust the youngsters standout performers Overall a very positive season and I'm happy with the high standard of youth players coming through I think I may struggle with Europe next year as I have a very small squad but thats my choice as I find it easier to manage a small team.

Sdp9511
End of Season Review Season 2029/30 Le Puy Season Summary- This was a rollercoaster of a season, we had good spells which helped us not get automatically promoted. We ended up with 15 more points than the last time we were in the 2nd division and ended up 16th in the playoff to stay in the league. After a draw away from home, we won the home game 4-2 to stay up. The money from the 2nd division has allowed us to upgrade our youth recruitment and spend on upgrading the youth facilities which will be finished in September. We have also gotten an affiliate to send some of our youngsters to. Season Details Transfers Out- Our old striker left on a free Youth Candidates - At first it was stated to be a bad intake, but it ended up being a lot better than I had thought. We have two quality center-backs who will be part of the first team next season (as our center-back pairing is aging and we don't have any backup in that position). The best of the lot is Sadiou Diop, who has to improve a bit to become a starter. But by far the best young defender we have. Key Players Virgile Piechocki - His amount of playing time has gone down in the last few seasons, but this season he was an extremely effective super-sub scoring 9 goals and assisting 6 Ousmane Tine 3A - Not as effective as last season, but his numbers were still up there with 7 goals and 5 assists Andreas Kruger 3B - Our top scorer and POTS, he scored 16 in all competitions and ended 5th in the divisional goal-scoring charts. He did massively overperform his XG. Abdelkader Belhadj 4C - Has been our best player in terms of rating since the age of 16, now he is getting closer to the end of the massive contract I gave him earlier and he is unwilling to renew. So with a lot of interest from top Belgian teams and Ligue 1, we probably have to sell him soon. toshimitzou1
Formation of FC Jazz Club 2. Very good news for player development. I noticed not one of my under 20's played a fixture last year as they are not part of any youth competition. Out of nowhere the board have offered to form a 2nd team that will compete in the division directly below us! In the long term this will obviously not be the optimal way to develop players (especially when trying to challenge for CL honours etc.), however, for the immediate crop of players and those coming through in the next 5 - 6 years, this a a great developmental route at a decent level of football. Moving all U-20 players into 2 - Team and optimising coaches. Updated: 3 mouse clicks later!!! Doh. Didn't know the board would spend over £350k on a new stadium for them!!!! What a blow - was £180k in black, now £180k in red. All my youth training/ coaching license/ youth recruitment/ junior coaching etc. money gone! LESSON LEARNED: Must read the smallprint. Popular Post BustaRaymes
FC Vaajakoski 2040 Finnish Premier Division Another season of improvement. We're not on par with the likes of HJK and Honka yet, but we can at least put up a fight against them. But wait, what is that 'UEL' doing there? We won the cup! Our first silverware at the highest level, after a championship and two First Div League Cups. Squad The 4-2-2-2 experiment was over as we were way too unstable. We turned Lehtonen into a backup AML, Miftari and Rinne played as midfielders regularly, and we got through the season in our old, albeit a little more conservative, formation. Maggi is turning into our new big man. He develops so rapidly and is already asking for a move, but he's on a long contract and I'm keeping him here for at least 2 more years. Nyholm is already an established player who surprisingly received little to no interest from other clubs. Nykänen flew under the radar when he was a youth player but has a firm spot in the starting team. Good dribbler, good crosser, and a decent scorer as well. The striker spot was claimed by Byman. 1 goal last season, 18 goals this season: he grew into a nice allround striker. Lehtonen provided an excellent backup. Whether on top, as IF or as a targetman when we needed a goal; he delivered perfectly. Transfers Youth intake Another uninteresting one. Rantanen looks decent but needs time, and Naukkarinen looks pretty good but has a bad personality. Edited February 21 by BustaRaymes

Popular Post libbyshuss
Lyra Lierse - belgium Pro Jupiler League - 2036/37 League Finish: Second group phase: 3rd Croky Cup: runners Up A frustrating season where we spent most of it in the relegation group spots only to win our last 4 league games to qualify for the second phase. We saved our best performances for the cup getting to the final only to lose to Standard Liege. Players Top Scorer: A Vandenheede 30C (32 goals in 44 games) Player of the Season: A Vandenheede 30C (7.47 AR in 44 games) Ridiculously good, which is weird cos when you look at his attributes/transfer value he looks really, really average. But he consistently performs at a really high level. I love it! Wonderkids Not sure if he'll be a real, proper wonderkid but he does look a really good prospect Youth After two really disappointing intakes i could really do with a good one. And i think i got one! Popular Post XaW
XaW - UAI Urquiza (Argentina) - Season 2067 (Season 43) - Primera Nacional Squad | Transfers | Finances Well, this was a good season! We played better, even if we still concede too much. The league was a close call with 6 teams battling for the top spots all season. Eventually we finished 4th, still only 4 points of the top. So we went into the promotion playoff again, and this time we won it and are now promoted into the top tier. I'm unsure how big the difference is, but the goal will still be to stay up. The board love to accept my requests for upgrades, so the youth setup is now maxed, and I only need to focus on the facilities. Copa Argentina: We didn't compete in it this season. HanziZoloman
@XaW there is not much to say Season 60/61 There's not much to say either. We got relegated from Championship. Back in EFL 1 we made a solid year (59) and wasteful bad year (60) which brought us almost into EFL 2 again. We secured the league on the last matchday with a draw and in-favour results elsewhere. Campaign 61 started as the last ended and Ricay found themself deep into relegation battle from the beginning. The Earl was frustrated and helpless not to say hopeless and called for an emergency meeting within this Forum. The call was answered (hat tips to @Cloud9) and with a change from the demanding 433 back into a more solid 4231 gave a huge positive impact. We tried to build around Ricays Superstar player Loric Kalala who is surely the best we ever produced. The team got the engines running again and made into a respectable 10th place but Kalala failed to produce anything noteable. He shrugs when asked by the press why on earth a player of his calibre doesn't offer more to the team. Maybe he is already elsewhere in his mind, "I see what happens, football is a fast business. We are checking on all options". Loric Kalala the man who could be a hero but won't: Spoiler On the other hand there was tremendously news breaking ... Billericay Town secured a plan for a new Stadium ... a 20k rock solid vessel which will give us a future. Just note the name of this "arena" The Rhys Platt Arena the legendary No 18 from the 2024. "That's football" The Earl comments. What about the training facility downgrade? "Well, we'll upgrade again, I'm sure" The Earl shrugs, "I just want to be the coach in 2064. I want to smell that grass." Spoiler

potbellypigs
I have a question and I figure this thread might be best to help. I want to set up a game where I start with a team in the VNLN or VNLS but change their youth facilities, recruitment and junior coaching up to the max (don't shoot me :D). I thought that holidaying through until March, editing the facilities and waiting for the crop of wonderkids to drop would be all I need, but I didn't get a youth intake. Did I miss something out? Or do I need to take over the team before the youth intake preview to see an intake?

Or do I need to take over the team before the youth intake preview to see an intake? Well, your first problem is that it will take a few seasons for your top facilities to have full, if any effect. It just doesn't work that quickly. You have to understand that even when a top club has top facilities, the chances of getting even one wonderkid are quite small. You only see the intake preview for a team you're in charge of. All teams should get at least a small intake in the first year. Not all clubs get their intakes at the same time though. Did all the other teams in that division get their intakes. I have to tell you. What you think is going to happen; is not. After about 4 years you are likely to start getting better players than the other teams in the division. I do not think that your intakes will be as good as the top premiership clubs, not least because they will steal a lot of them before they reach your intake. I'm not sure exactly what will happen, but it probably won't be what you hope. Why upgrade things in March, and not at the start of the save? Lots of decisive things happen to the intake before it arrives. Edited February 22 by vikeologist

The original premise still holds though, you need to holiday for a season and take over a team newly promoted into the lowest tier possible in the added database.
Popular Post dkouv
Brora Rangers – Season 22 (2045/46) League Another treble, pretty dominant throughout really. Europe I thought that last year’s extra time loss to Leeds was painful, but this was definitely worse. Up against Inter in the quarters, and by far our best shot at winning the CL since all the big guns somehow got knocked out. We win the home leg 2-0, second leg disaster strikes, sending off and 3-0 down. We then peg it back to 3-2 and into injury time, about to go through on aggregate when Inter score 2 goals in added time, 96th and 98th minute out of 98, and the last one is an own goal from our substitute right back who was only on because of the sending off… Pff, a rough one to swallow for sure but since my save got corrupted half-way through the season and I managed to recover it using an old backup, I’m happy to just be able to keep playing for now anyway )) Players Andy Morton 17a (AMRLC) is really amazing attribute-wise, up there with the best players I’ve had in this challenge. No way he’s signing a new contract but I got him tied up for a good 7 years (including the extension) so I aim to get the most out of him while I can! Youth intake (preview) This is actually a pretty good intake, the star ratings are just completely skewed by Andy Morton’s ability - and we got a keeper and a full back, two positions where we desperately need reinforcements. Now, if only some centre backs would arrive then we could really challenge in Europe. Facilities No upgrades but a stadium expansion is planned for next year. Transfers Nothing of note.
