Would love it if Georgia keep shocking their way through. Awful draw though overall on England's side, they need to rethink how the teams are paired together.

Looking at the knockout phase, if things go according to expectations and favorites win, we'll get 7 traditionally biggest nations in quarter-finals.

Plenty of shocks left imo, Italy, Netherlands, France and er, yeah, England probably most at risk

Tbh we've done that badly that people are expecting us to go out now, so now we can be the surprise team in the final

The draw pairings are fine. If all goes to 'plan', it's:

Spain, Portugal, Germany, Holland on one side

France, England, Italy, Belgium on the other side.

It's not UEFA's fault, nor can they predict, that Italy are going to be pretty poor, or Belgium are going to on the downward curve and also quite poor.

Spain-Georgia 80-20%
Germany-Denmark 75-25%
Portugal-Slovenia 90-10%
France-Belgium 70-30%
Romania-Netherlands 30-70%
Austria-Turkey 70-30%
England-Slovakia 80-20%
Switzerland-italy 50-50%

Other than the last matchup, I don't think we'll see any surprises.
Turkey just suspended themselves out of Austria game and I don't think Belgium's shambolic defense can compete with France.
Denmark was also really poor last night.
Austria game was a wake-up call for Koeman and he'll give up on stupid ideas, they should have enough quality. But if there's a big upset, I'd say that's the game.

Somebody wanted to see all the teams in a single table

Might have been @BoroPhil, if not I have tagged him for nothing :D

Not sure the format has really shafted Ukraine.

You are always going to have the risk of a group finishing 4-4-4-4 whether there are third place teams getting through or not.

Tbf I think Portugal-Slovenia would be 90-10 BUT it’s on that dodgy Frankfurt pitch which I can see derailing a Bobby Martinez side against someone playing a low block.

So I make it like 70-30 to Portugal

Glad for Georgia.

But that was utterly ****ing embarrassing today. No structure either going forward or at the back. Even for a meaningless game when we were already qualified, that was quite concerning.

It was like watching Wolves of a few seasons ago.

Neves with a needless yellow and balls into the box that went nowhere near.

Neto booked for diving.

Semedo getting mugged off and easily robbed of the balls.

Nunes blasting over when attempting to cross the ball.

Even had a Jota anonymous performance.

Made me really nostalgic.
