Popular Post Alexpuk2002
LIGHT SKIN 24 After quite a few requests I have decided to release my Light Skin this year. This is my first release of a skin which I usually create for myself. This has only been tested on a laptop resolution (mainly a MacBook) so I cannot guarantee what this will look like on higher resolution screens. I am aware that there are still some issues with the skin itself regarding white text on white backgrounds making them hard to read. I have changed as many areas where this occurs as I can find, but there are still areas that may be able to be fixed and some areas that are hardcoded and cannot be fixed. I don't plan of fixing any issues myself as I am not that great at skinning and have created this skin as far as I can create it. The skin is mainly a mash up of panels created by other better skinners than myself and then edited slightly to work and look the way I prefer to play the game. Credits will be listed further down. Credits There are many skinners that have either helped me along the way or who I have used their work in this skin. I will have probably forgotten some creators so apologies if I don't list you. TCSSkin - A lot of panels are the work of TCSSkin which has kindly given permission to release this skin. Also was a big help with any questions I had regarding issues with skinning. Also a big inspiration came from many versions of the TCS Skin JustHowie - The tactic screen and Competition News screen are taken from the Just Skin. Sic - The Player Overview screen was inspired and taken from the Livid skin from previous FM versions Michael T Murray - For all the help with my questions over the years while learning how to skin Wozzie - For the Tato skin which inspired some panels in the past GIMN - For any help provided with issues and for releasing how he made his Home Screen which was a big help to see how a panel is created Mediafire - https://www.mediafire.com/file/7su81y9xffuorkv/Light_Skin_24_1.1.zip/file

This is controlled by the font xml file in the fonts folder. If you find which font you want to use this in and then add the following code to it. <integer id="gradient_upper_colour_red" value="255"/> <integer id="gradient_upper_colour_green" value="255"/> <integer id="gradient_upper_colour_blue" value="255"/> <integer id="gradient_upper_colour_alpha" value="255"/> <integer id="gradient_lower_colour_red" value="255"/> <integer id="gradient_lower_colour_green" value="255"/> <integer id="gradient_lower_colour_blue" value="250"/> <integer id="gradient_lower_colour_alpha" value="255"/> Just change the value numbers if you want to change the colours. These are set to use white as a colour

I'm not sure to be honest. I use attribute boxes and the players attribute file is set up to use the font file in there. You may have to have a look at taking these files from the skin and putting them into your skin to see if you can replicate it

Thanks mate, you'll recognise most of the work as your own. It's still got some issues but it's very playable still.
Olas Nick
It's nice to see that the author understands what the big picture should be, and not just haphazardly piling on changes. I see that part of the bugs can be eliminated simply by updating the versions of the panels, and you need to spend a little more time on white text. but it seemed to me(?) that some panels lag a lot. it is especially noticeable when moving to Club Overview

I probably should have created the files again when FM24 was released. As FM25 is delayed it may be worth me looking to re-create this from scratch to see if I can eliminate the bugs and white text. I do like your light skin though which is pretty bug free from what I have used.
