Sometimes a little break is needed but the itch never really leave us

So after having some thoughts I felt like coming back to this and, well, there really is only one place for me isn't there? Season 1 2023/24 Vanarama National league North Wanted to play through first season before I uploaded anything but here is my starting profile League - An excellent season from us as we stormed to the title setting records in total goals and total points, even when we had a slight wobble at the turn of the year (only 1 win in 6 in Jan) the closest anyone got to us was 5 points. We played my usual 433 but a broken leg to CM Will McGowan (a youth product so even more annoying) meant we didn't have enough quality to carry on the 433 so a change in formation kick started our form in the 2nd half of the season. I like that I know have 2 or 3 formations I can go to as being flexible in these years is helpful. We won the title with 5 or 6 games to go which gave me a nice run in to use fringe players in to see who might be worth keeping around next season. FA Cup - pretty awful from us here, could have done with a decent cup run but we just had one of those games where we don't really turn up and were knocked out by a team in our league FA Trophy - much better here as we beat 2 National league sides on route to the final where we beat another (and the winners last year) to win this for what I think might be the first time I ever have done Transfers - obviously none in but a couple out, one even for money Squad - The AI went crazy in the holiday season with the strikers they signed so we still have way too many, this also means we're lacking elsewhere but we do have decent depth in numbers if not in quality Finances - only in profit thanks to £400k put in by the chairman at the end of the season. No idea how or why're we're losing so much but expanding the stadium by 500 seats probably won't help. Youth Intake - A little disappointing for a first intake. Usually, due to the low level of the squad, you get a few 5* guys but we got none. As a result I only tagged 2 players but did sign everyone as at this stage I like having a full U18 squad and you never know who might kick on (my policy of signing everyone may also play a part in the finances but most are only on £5 a week so it's not too bad) John Westwood YP01A - classy looking playmaker. Our change in formation does mean I now have one where a player like him can be used Ryan Bradley YP01B - always nice to get a keeper in early doors Career Overview Season League Position Notes 2022/23 NLN 1st Champions, won FA Trophy, Manager of the year So I guess what I mean is

When you do your season review just post a screen shot of their history to show that they didn't play for you after the loan and it'll be fine mate.

Firstly just a quick happy new year to you all. I've really struggled with FM this year, I hardly touch it so as a result I'm not really about in this section of the forums much. I'm gonna try to check in way more often but if anyone does complete it while I'm not about then tag me to get my attention.

Southgate took over an England side at a very low point, has brought through a lot of young players and has made them one of the most consistent national teams in the world in the past 5/6 years. People will moan but a semi final, a final and a quarter final in the past 3 tournaments is a level of consistency that England haven't seen in like 60 years. Yes he has his faults (what manager doesn't?) but he's done an excellent job and has England set up well for the coming years. Think the stick he gets is unfair and I'm no England fan.

Love Messi and like a couple others in the squad so can live with the scumbags in the team also winning. Also for some reason France winning again feels a little boring even though back to back world cups is an insane achievement. Heart says Argentina but head says France.

Best thing to do if this happens is to try and arrange the deal to go through at the end of the season, that's allowed but no we can't loan back.

France doing exactly what they did against England, coasting after an early goal. I’ve no doubt that they have about 4 more gears than they can just click into, almost when they want.

Still a player. Comes out, doesn't get the ball and takes the man out. At the other end you're calling for a pen 100% of the time

It's a clear pen. Harsh on the keeper (and yellow is daft) but it's a foul. If you knock the ball past a player in the middle of the pitch and then run him to him it's given as a foul. I don't get the moaning here.

It's the perfect game for them so far.

This entire World cup I've tuned in about 5 minutes before kick off and watch youtube at HT so miss all the people talking about the game or in most cases talking about England
