2033/34 Table | Squad | Transfers Started the season in decent form but then hit a wall with terrible form and dropped into the relegation spots. As a result i changed the formation from 442 to 41221 mostly due to the terrible form of my strikers and the need to get more central midfielders into the team. This led to enough wins that the team were well clear in the end of relegation, PSG failed to win the title for the first time in 13 years with the scaled down funding having an effect. Finances went up a lot the year due to selling Al-Ali who was a good player but had not done that well for me. Leipzig sold him only 6 months later for £23 million of which i got a percentage. I brought in a new GK, the next 'Antti Niemi' I am struggling to improve the club at the moment as i cannot afford the wages most decent players want even though the club is quite rich, the 4 foreign player rule is also restricting my choices. 2032/33 Table | Squad | Transfers Started the season in terrible form with 3 points from the first 8 games but picked up after that before another poor run in feb and mar left the team in midtable, never really in relegation trouble due to the bottom 2 being so poor. PSG came close to losing the title as their funding has been withdrawn, they beat Nantes 6-1 on the last day. In the french cup the team beat National Laval 3-2 away in the ninth rd before then drawing 2-2 at home to Ligue 2 Dijon and going out on penalties. Finances continued to improve thanks to Man Utd buying a young player who had never even played for me for £7.75 million + add ons. This enabled training and youth improvements, a new stadium was also announced. I spent a record amount on Lafton who did an ok job up front Player performance was an issue for much of the season with some 1st choice players in poor form. My 1st choice keeper Burke was poor and after bringing in a 3rd keeper he was able to leapfrog Burke. I brought in Rey who looked a great player but he was terrible, this was underscored by the back up winger playing so well and probably my best player this season. The loss of money from rangers is amazing in not developing youth players, even selling on most of the players with a PA over 100 for a nominal fee with a sell on would have surely generated millions over the years. They seem to have produced a lot of players who could play in the scottish premiership or english championship but not profited. Have you looked at the PA of the players you have produced just to compare it?

Great start to the season. Rangers is a strange one in that they were in big financial trouble for years but still spending a lot in incoming transfers when you would expect transfer profits although they did overspend on the players bought. They haven't seeming sold many players so some must be still there, so it seems surprising they are struggling, the players must have downed tools.

Good season, at least the GD is close enough that a win will let you overtake Celtic or Kilmarnock if you beat them.

31/32 Table | Squad | Transfers Started the season quite well competing in almost all matches although this led to a few too many draws. By halfway through the season the team was in 7th with a faint possibilty of europe but losing in the cup in jan lead to a real free fall in results. The team picked up just 4 points in the last 9 games with most being very one sided, in spite of this the team were still comfortably clear of relegation. We still have a lot of ground to make up on the other teams in the league. In the french cup the team entered the cup in the ninth rd and faced Ligue 2 FCSM away. After FCSM missed a penalty it still required my team to score 2 90th min goals to draw 3-3 and win on penalties. In the 10th rd the team were away to Ligue 1 Toulouse but were edged out 1-2 in a close match. Finances have continued to rise quite a bit in spite of increased wages and new training and youth upgrades in the pipeline. The baord are also looking into a new ground A lot of long serving players were let go or left as they were not good enough, these included Kinkela (115 apps, 27 goals), Yao (124 apps), Koffi (220 apps, 46 goals), Ait Hamouche (113 apps, 2 goals), Dziki (164 apps, 5 goals) and Faye (173 apps , 2 goals). Record purchase Tesic was probably my best player although he did miss a number of games through injury and suspension. In a team short of goals Mustafic was the best of my midfielders and fowards. 2030/31 Table | Squad | Transfers Made a pretty poor start with 7 defeats in the first 12 games to only be in midtable. A 10 game unbeaten run then put the team up into the promotion mix. The results at the end of the season were a bit mixed but the team picked up enough points to go into 2nd with one game to go. Brest completely bottled it with a run of poor form and lost the last game of the season to hand promotion to Racing who lost the last game as well. The team was helped by the overall poor standand this season with the top 3 in previous seasons always over 60 points and 6th place last season got 61 points. In the french cup the reserves beat a lower league team 9-0 in the 7th rd before meeting National 2 FC Versailles in teh 8th rd. After drawing 1-1 the team went out on penalties. Finances were level due to a lack of a cup run but the club still managed to improve the youth facilities and youth recruitment. There were no significant transfers in or out. The main architects of promotion were the strikers Dembo and Kinkela although there were good performances all round with an improvment in defence even with the GK in poor form. @aldojags shame about the CL phase, looked like you had some tough teams. The 2 slovenians look really useful players, no wonder the other teams can't get close if you sign them.

I'm well into the next season and looking good for the playoffs so hopefully not long, even though almost none of my squad is rated good enough for the league i'm in!

i thought the new stadium would make more of an impact on the finances, guess you need to make a lot from a sell on to ensure the chairman doesn't sell too many more players.

2029/30 Table | Squad | Transfers Started the season with 4 straight heavy defeats before turning it around in style by only losing 1 game in the next 12 to get up into the playoff positions. Thereafter the league stuttered as the team needed to be rotated a lot due to the numbers of games and fell away from the top teams. Ended the season badely again with just 4 points from the last seven games to finish midtable. In the french cup the team beat a lower league 10-0 in the seventh Rd before winning 6-1 against National 2 Chambly in the eighth rd. In the 9th Rd the team were away to Ligue 1 Lens and matched them to win on penalties after a 3-3 draw. In the tenth rd the team were away again, this time to National Bastia. In spite of just shading it the team needed penalties to win after a 2-2 draw. In the 11th rd the team were at home to high flying Ligue 1 side Monaco winning 4-2. This resulted in a home tie in the quarter final to Ligue 1 Bordeaux, a tight match ended in a 2-2 draw and another win on penalties (i actually have no decent penalty takers with my best player just 6 for penalties). The run finally came to an end in the semi final where the opponents were Ligue 2 Angers, a 0-1 loss away was properly flattering to the team. Finances continue to improve even with some higher wage costs. Training facilities and youth recruitment were improved. Several long time players were moved on including Diop (141 apps, 4 goals), Rotsen (202 apps, 2 goals) , Desvignes (158 apps, 15 goals) and Agro (118 apps). Youth product Gerard has established himself as first choice RB even if he is the shortest player i have ever seen. Dembo and Mustafic made a really effective front pairing with Vailant providing the assists, Vailant decided at the start of the season to move on which will be a big loss. Lefevre came in as a squad option but has quickly become first choice and the defence looked more solid as a result. it not surprising that there is a huge gap amongst some of the teams, i bet the attendances have the same sort of gap, although i didn't realise Queens Park was well supported. Hopefully the new stadium can help ease those finances or cashing in a big sell on fee from the players sold.

well done on promotion. Finances might improve after the stadium move due to increased attendances (how many sell outs did you have this season?), but i would not be surprised if the rent was nearly 100K. Looking at your squad if you can loan in some ex players to improve the squad you should like at GK and DL where it looks weak, you rotate anyway so others will play games. It would also give the option to loan a few at a lower level.

2028/29 Table | Squad | Transfers Started the season with 4 draws in the first 5 matches which could have gone either way. After that the team kept picking up the odd win along with a few draws to always remain just out of the relegation picture. The team ended the season poorly with the defence conceeding loads of goals and sliding down the league. The french cup was relatively unsuccessful this year as the team drew 2-2 away to Ligue 2 Rodez before winning on penalties in the 7th rd. In the 8th rd the team drew 1-1 away to national 2 Drancy before again winning on penalties which is suprising as i have no decent penalty takers (the best is only 6 in penalties). In the 9th rd the teams luck ran out with the team at home to Ligue 2 Metz who dominated the match to win 1-4. Finances increased hugely as Ligue 2 has a lot of TV money (about 4.5 million), i persuased the board to improve the youth facilities along with the youth recruitment during the season and the training facilities at the end of the season. With the squad being quite young player performance was mixed, Zouogbo was the top scorer without really being great and the step up might be too much. Vailant was a cheap buy and showed signs of becoming a top player. Bouklouche was my record purchase. Looks like promotion is nearly assured. Doherty must be nearly your oldest player at 24? The stadium required is quite big compared to your current one, if you get promoted will they have to start again looking for an even bigger one
