@aldojags well done, seems a strange one to be so successful so early. I have never managed in Slovenia so i don't know what its like, maybe you just have your tactics spot on.

I think you are right about the contracts, at least that how i think they work. Ogilvie looks a really good GK for so young, his composure and passing could do with improving along with balance but thats nitpicking.

i think the personality does play a role, it probably depends as well on working with youngsters attribute. Don't forget the personality of the other youth staff also has an influence on youth players coming through, they often have favourite staff who are similar in personality. I also wonder if the general first team squad personality has any effect.

first time i have heard of one the teams in the league, i think Clydebank used to be a top division side a long time ago. I guess promotion isn't that unrealistic for the board as there are 3 spots and the media rate your team as 4th favourites and one of the teams above you has just been promoted

Table | Squad | Transfers Started the season by failing to really upgrade on many of the positions i wanted and the midfield was actually weaker, this resulted in only 5 points from the first 8 games. The french cup started at the right time as wins in this competition allowed the team morale to improve and the team only lost 1 game in the next 9 leaue games to climb to mid table. Patchy form from feb onwards meant the team finished in midtable, the team had the worst home form of any team in the league which is disappointing. In the french cup the team faced lower league teams in the 5th and 6th rounds easily winning. In the 7th rd the team faced National league Chateauroux and won 2-1 at home. In the 8th and 9th rounds the team faced more lower league teams and went through by narrow margins in games they dominated. In the 10th rd the team played struggling SO Cholet but could only draw 1-1 at home and required penalties to go through. In the 11th rd the team were up against Ligue 1 Metz at home, Metz were poor but won 0-2 with 2 last minute goals. Finances stablised thanks to cashing in a sell on clause for Lefebvre for 200K and the prize money from the french cup. I also released a lot of dead wood players. I am getting annoyed with higher teams making offers of 0 for my best youth players. Zouogbo continues to be my best striker and can still improve. Koffi was a good addition at LM, playing as a winger he has a habit of cutting in to score with his right foot even though there are no instructions or PPM's for him to do this. He missed 2 months through injury but strangely this was when the teams form picked up. Are you semi-pro or still amateur at the moment. You talked about being pro, i last played in scotland 5 fm's ago and had to reach the prem before turning pro. While it might have changed since then i think most teams below the championahip IRL are semipro. Looking good for another promotion, you might have the expense of building a new ground if you get too many more promotions

If Maxwell increases his det by 1 he could be balanced and not look so bad. (he could also morph into something just as poor but not casual or slack which are the worst 2)

It is proving remarkably difficult to find the players that will improve the team. I had intend to upgrade on GK, CM, LM and maybe the CB and FB's if possible. By Nov i have got in a LM and the midfield looks worse as i signed some young players to make up the numbers after losing Ndiaye .

The team fell apart in the new year as the defence which had been solid up to that point let in goals from everywhere and relegation was only just avoided. The disparity in the size of the clubs in the division is huge with a mixture of pro and semi-pro. Finances are poor with the club losing 65K a month on average, my chairman sold my best youth player for next to nothing as it was an offer too good to refuse. My training facilities were downgraded at the end of the season. My best striker was Zouogbo who took a while to get going but excellent for much of the season before dropping away at the end. @aldojags nice start to your save, the club already has pretty good facilities and slovenia can generate some decent players. I always thought Mura and Gorica were 2 of the top sides but maybe that was a while ago

I always look for Reflexes, agility, balance and Handling, other attributes are good to have but less important for me. High rushing out and punching are 2 things i don't like to see, especially with eccentricity. His teamwork and work rate are high for GK

names, nationality, DOB and main positions are fixed at youth preview, like you noticed they sometimes have extra positions (but awkard) or more familiarity with some positions. Its the ability (PA and CA) that will change at the intake Christie is an odd GK, his high attributes are unusual from what i have seen.

The default on scouting is to keep all reports up to date, it probably this which is costing all the money

There seems to be a huge gap between your best players and everyone else. I'm also surprised the finances are so poor, where is the money going, can't all be on the upkeep of the pitch.

I'd sell Larios before he get injured again. Seems astonishing that some of those players are still there, 4 stars must be premier league standard

Got a bit bored with the groundhog nature of my save in Portugal so i have started again in France with Racing CFF. Based in Paris they were a successful club winning Ligue 1 in the 30's and the french cup 5 times in the 30s and 40s. Baixinho (110 apps, 17 goals) left after falling down the playing order. Baiao played as the most advanced striker and responded by scoring a record number of goals. Ferreira came in to boost the squad depth in midfield but was a star player by the end scoring double figues from CM. Tweaking the facilities after the preview date has no effect. The youths on preview date have a range of PA and CA, hence they can change on the day they come through
