Never. For me FM is more than just a game, it's a part of my biggest hobby - football. I love watching football on TV and play FM at the same time - it combines so great! I'm 31 and this is the only game I play, other games don't interest me anymore (maybe I'll do an exception for GTA VI when it's finally out).

That's really great news, I somehow missed it when reading that post. It will be interesting to play the new system before it starts in real life, thanks to this we'll all be more familiar with it when the 2024/25 season finally hits.

Check the headline features thread, you'll see most of people are very disappointed. I'm personally pretty excited, didn't expect any major improvements and the ones we'll get I really like.

It would be way better not to mention this in the blog, reading how they are bragging about such minor add-ons looks just pathetic. Still, I can't wait for the game to be released.

I'm not one of those who keep complaining about lack of major improvements, actually I really like the headline features this year, but it's a bit funny and, at the same time, sad to see when new manager hairstyles are included in a blog presenting new upgrades... Like really, who even cares about this? I'm sure most of us still prefer to have our real picture in the profile rather than some weird face.

Also there is supposed to be another blog by Miles in a few days, my guess is the blog on Monday, live stream on Tuesday, and beta on Thursday/Friday. Let's gooooo!

I've done it yesterday and already miss FM so much...

I thought the blogs will be released every Thursday but since we didn't get any yesterday I believe there are not so many minor features and they all will be presented in just one blog? If yes, I also guess next Thursday.

I must say I really like the headline features this year, to me they are much more appealing than last year's innovations. I haven't really used Data Hub (but I plan to understand it better this year), the new wing back role was just a tiny add-on, only the deadline day made a nice difference for me. I understand most people's complaints that every year we get minor changes, but in my opinion it's better to improve the game by small steps rather than make a big revolution every year. I just hope that thanks to this we will be able to enjoy the game since full release, just imagine how many patches would have to be done if there were bigger changes Supporter confidence is my favorite addition so far, it will definitely add more realism to our saves. Squad planner will replace excel for me, so it will be great to have it included in game now. The default skin on the screenshots also looks nice and tidy, I think I might actually stick to it this year. Can't wait for info about other improvements.

First of all, I must say this year's game was great and I really enjoyed playing it. However, I'm frustrated by my indecisiveness about having a long term save... My problem is, there is always a huge amount of teams I want to manage and I just cannot decide if it's better to have one single save with all of them (playing as multiple managers), or to have several saves and manage just 1 team at once like normal people do. I tried both ideas repeatedly, always quitting the save after max 3-4 seasons, so I didn't really get the full FM experience this year. I swore to myself this won't happen again with FM 23 Still, during these couple of seasons I had the most fun with Arsenal, Barcelona, and Zaglebie Lubin. I've also tried my first journeyman save and it was short but great fun, definitely this is a kind of save I will try to do properly in FM 23.

I'm exactly the same. Not having an active save makes me feel depressed ☹️

So countdown has started, loving it! I'm thinking about uninstalling FM 22 now as I can't find motivation to continue any save knowing FM 23 is around the corner, especially when I really like the announced features. I don't know how I will stand not playing FM for like 3 weeks, though.

Same with me haha, it saves me from hearing that I spend money on childish games like she doesn't understand FM is life.

I promised myself to wait with buying new version until like April when all patches are out, as I don't really like to start my long term save knowing that any official update is on the way. But then, I obviously pre-ordered FM 23 right after it became available 😂 I will install beta to check all the new features and see which players have been upgraded, etc, but will wait with starting any save until the official release. Then I will start a short term easy save, probably with Man City. At the same time I'm going to continue my FM 22 journeyman save, hopefully I keep it until FM 23 is all patched.

And I thought I'm the only one who would like to manage all the clubs in the world 😁 My "must do" saves at the moment are: Arsenal / Barcelona / Zagłębie Lubin / Ajax Amsterdam / Southampton / Journeyman Plus like 10 others that will come to my mind when the game is out... Just wondering how I will find time to do all this 😁
