  1. Copa America 2032

    Group Stage    Quarter Final

We went into the competition with the F.A demanding a Semi Final at the least. I thought this was realistic depending on us avoiding Brazil and Argentina. We got through our group stage comfortably, but were spanked 4-1 by Brazil in the groups. Onto the Quarter Finals and we drew......Argentina. I didn't think we would beat them, and to take the game to penalties after an entertaining 3-3 draw was a decent showing from us. I resigned the day after as I knew the sack was looming.

My break from the international game didn't last long. With EURO 2032 ending at a similar time to the Copa America, jobs were open and I applied for 3, being offered all of them. I could not turn down my country of birth and took the England job. The fact they have yet to win any honours since 1966 makes it even more appealing.

    Season 2031/32 Bayer Leverkusen

Having spent 18 months out of club football I was starting to get desperate and was considering taking a smaller job than originally planned. However, I think this job was worth the wait. The club has fantastic facilities, a brilliant young squad with endless potential, the only issue is finances have been mismanaged with too many players on big money. With Hamburger SV having broke Bayern's stronghold on the division in the 2030/31 season, it could also be a good time to be managing in Germany. When appointed the team were sat in 14th having played 15 games, but were only 10 points of the top 6.

    Competitions

    Bundesliga - League Table    Results

Our first game was against Bayern and I expected a spanking to be honest, a early red card for them gave us an advantage and we made it count. A excellent run of form saw us climb the table but as you can see we finished the season poorly, and if Hoffenheim hadn't dropped points on the last day, we would have missed out on a place in the Europa League.

DFB Pokal - The club were already out by the time I took charge, losing to Dortmund in the 2nd Round.

    Europa League - Results

We was only in charge for the last 4 games. A good win against Salzburg followed by 2 poor showings against Gil Vicente.

    Playing Squad

Squad    Transfers    End Of Season Awards

The team is stacked with potential, and with a few key signings in the right positions, I dont see why we cant be challenging for honours next season. We need to move on a few more high earning squad players and that will release some funds to bring in some improvements. 3  key men this season were:

Kai Matner (AMC) - A youth product of the clubs well known academy, he has proved to be a key man since I took over. Young and with a new contract just signed, will be a star in the next few seasons. 10 goals and 9 assists in 32 games.

Abdullah Aktas (AMR) - Another player from the academy, he is our key man. He wants to play Champions League football and we may move him on if we get a silly offer due to the clubs finances. 16 goals and 10 assists in 41 games.

Tanguy Baud (ST) - The french forward has been immense since I came in, had only scored before I arrived, yet ended with 23 goals and 6 assists in 45 games.

    Next Season

    Manager Profile

The club has endless potential and I am determined to be the man to finally grab them a league title. I was amazed to see they were yet to win one. With the youth players who are almost ready for first team action, I see me being here for a few seasons yet. The Copa America is this summer and I dont harbour any real hopes of winning it. Even though our Columbia squad had good players, we havent been able to beat the likes of Argentina or Uruguay in friendlies or the World Cup Qualifiers.

  3.

After leaving my role with S Korea after success at the 2031 Asian cup, my plan was to wait for a club job before taking another national team. This went out the window in a matter of weeks as I was offered the chance to take the reigns at Colombia. Easily the biggest National team we have coached so far, ranked 19th in the world and with a squad of super talented players, this was a job I couldn't say no to. With the 2032 Copa America a year or so away, its a good time to take charge.

On the club side of things, I left Club Leon in May 2030 and didn't imagine I would be out of a job for long. It has took 18 months to find the right role, having been laughed off at my attempts to land the Dortmund job a year ago, we have landed a role with Bayer Leverkusen. The Germans are underachieving big time, and we take charge during the winter break with the team sat in 14th place. Having looked at the players at the club, its hard to see how and it shouldn't be too much of a job to get them into the spots challenging for the Champions League places. We also have a youth team stacked with players, with no less than 12 rated as potential 4.5/5 star players.

    2031 Asian Cup Update

After our sacking by Australia after the world cup in 2030, we have been hell bent on revenge. Going into the tournament as favourites, and as the host nation, this was a great chance to get this competition out of the way.

    Results   Group Stage     Tournament Tree

Our group stage and run to the final was pretty easy and straight forward. 3 wins in the group stages with 12 goals scored showed the gulf in class between us and our opponents. Our first game with any competition was against Uzbekistan in the semi finals. A solid 1-0 win saw us progress onto the final where we would meet China. Australia lost in the last 16, gutted we never got the chance to beat them. The final was a close game, 2-2 until the 76th min, when we scored a clinical counter attack and sealed the title.

On the club side of things, it seems I may have to take a lesser role than previously hoped for. Our sacking by Australia saw our reputation dip from 80% to 70% and having applied for an opening at Dortmund, we didnt even get an interview. We did get offered the Nantes job, but I am hoping for something bigger. We have been unemployed for 6 months now, and I will wait until the summer if need be for the right opportunity.

  5. 2030 World Cup Report

Well that was absolutely stinking. Drawn against Serbia and The USA, who are ranked 17th and 11th compared to our 50th in the world, I thought we would struggle and we did. A 3-3 draw with Serbia, followed be a 4-0 spanking from The USA and we have been sacked. 4 years and not a trophy to show for it. The only saving grace? S Korea also had a poor World Cup and sacked their manager. With the Asian Cup in just 6 months time, I really hope we can get the job and with it, sweet revenge on Australia for sacking me.

Edit: As always after a world cup, numerous jobs became available but only 3 really peaked my interest. Mexico, The USA and S Korea. Was offered all 3 but have taken the S Korea job for 2 reasons. Asian Cup is in 6 months and I want to smash Australia for sacking me.

    Season 12 2029/30 - Club Leon

    Competitions

Mexican Division Opening Stage - League Table    Results 1    Results 2

Our 2nd full season in charge was a decent but not spectacular one. We had a major wobble in September/October which meant we had little chance of coming 1st, before stepping up our game and sealing back to back titles.

Mexican Division Closing Stage - League Table    Results 1    Results 2

We started as we finished the Opening stage, putting teams to the sword with ease. We lost only 3 of our 19 league games before easily sealing another title.

North American Champions League - Results

Our main focus this season was the NACL and we didn't disappoint. We had a scare against Atlas in the Semi Finals losing the first tie 4-3 away from home, but a strong home performance meant we were into the clubs first ever final. Here we beat Monterrey 5-0 over the two legs.

    Playing Squad

Squad    Transfers    End Of Season Awards

Having been in charge for two and a half years now, we have had time to mould what is easily the best team in the league and the continent. The team has a mix of youth and experience, but it will need some work after this summer. A few players and kicking up a fuss about moving the big European sides and I can hardly moan when that is my plan as well. The best 3 players this season were:

Rodolfo Hernandez (ST) - The man is just an absolute beast. He is going to take some beating in our best 11 when I get round to doing one. 64 goals and 9 assist in 54 games says it all.

Mariano Irarragorri (AML) - Signed 2 seasons ago, he has gone onto develop into one of our key men, popping up with goals at all the right times. 9 goals and 9 assists doesnt do his importance justice. With basically every big club in Europe looking at him, he will be on the move soon.

Juan Manuel Britos (CM) - Another player signed 2 seasons ago and who has developed into a star for us. Racked up an impressive 5 goals and 27 assists this season and is another player who will be off to Europe soon.

    Next Season

Our time in Mexico is finished. I refused to sign a new contract all season and with winning the NACL, we have no reason to stay. I announced my intentions to resign not long after our NACL triumph and will be looking to move to Europe asap. This summer is the 2030 World Cup and we have sealed qualification with Australia. I have also declared an interest in the Porto and Monaco jobs, both positions are insecure. I think Porto would be the better option for now, but would take either if offered.

Good to see 424 work in a more competitive league. Presumably you press fairly aggressively most/all of the time? Do you ever pull your wingers back into a 442? Go more conservative in general? Pretty sure this is the first time I've used 424/442 in FM, and a bit surprised I don't get dominated for possession for often, even in European competition, unless I'm just letting the other team have the ball.

Its the first time i have used it on this FM. Was my go to formation for years but last 3 FM'S i would say 4231 worked best for me. I do play high tempo and press constantly. I dont usually drop my wingers back but do switch to 4231 in game sometimes if are losing the midfield battle.

    Season 11 2029 - Club Leon

    Competitions

Liga Bancomer MX Opening Stage - League Table    Results

Our first full season started with a win and I hoped we could continue where we left off the season before. Instead I got a real inconsistent side who just could not defend. At times we played teams off the park and still lost. In the end I had to beg for my job after finishing in 12th place. The board set me a target of 10 points from the opening 5 league games of the Closing Stage otherwise I was going to be sacked for the first time.

Liga Bancomer MX Closing Stage - League Table    Results 1    Results 2

After our points ultimatum and poor showing in the Opening Stage i decided that we needed to change our formation, and switched to a 424 to utilise our strongest players, this worked a treat as we managed to finish 3rd, satisfying the board along the way. This put us into the Play Offs where we beat foes Monarcas Morelia 2-1 in the QF, we beat Tigres Unal 4-3 in the SF. In the final we faced a strong Monterrey side, who despite losing their semi final 1st leg 3-0, were our opponents. I needn't worry, a rampant first 45 mins in the 1st leg saw us 5-1 up, and the tie was already over. The first leg finished 6-3 and we followed that up with a 3-0 home win to seal our first silverware in Mexico.

    MX Cup - Results

Due to our failings to qualify for Continental football last season, I thought this would be quite a easy cup to win. I was wrong, we lost in 2nd round.

    Leagues Cup - Results

Still not sure what this comp is but it had little importance to the board.

    Playing Squad

Transfers    End of Season Awards    Squad

We have a really talented squad but their consistency worries me. The defence needs some work and that is the area I will be looking to strengthen over the break to give us a chance of challenging for the NACL.

Our top players this season were:

Juan Manuel Britos (CM) - One of our key men, he was instrumental in the midfield this season and has bags of room for improvement. A big move to Europe wont be far away but im hoping to keep him for at least one more season.

Rodolfo Hernandez (ST) -  Our key man since ive been in charge. The striker just loves scoring goals, 37 goals in 43 games.

Victor Hugo Lopez (ST) - I neglected this man for the majority of my first 12 months in charge due to having Hernandez and a preference for a one man up top formation, since changing to a two man attack, we have reaped the rewards. 17 goals in 17 starts.

    Next Season

    Manager Profile

The aim next season is simple, to win the NACL. That is all I need to tick off 4 continents of club football and to finally head over to Europe. I don't think I will be competing in any Cup competitions next season in Mexico so will need to go to a League simply for a cup win at some point in this save. I plan on finishing the save in England but that will depend on job availability etc. I am still in charge of the Australian national team and we look almost certain to qualify for the 2030 World cup. Will do an international update once qualification is finished. Manager reputation is up to 75% and hopefully this will rise more if we can win the NACL. With 12 months to run on my contract, It could be another Fluminense where I simply let my contract run down until I know if I need to spend any longer here.

    Season 10 2028 - Club Leon

    Competitions

Having taken charge with only 13 games left I will only report on the games we managed.

Liga Bancomer MX Closing Stage - Results    League Table

I took over with 13 games left and with the club sat 8th. 7 wins and 4 draws out of those games saw us finish in a decent 3rd place. In the play offs we scrapped through the QF on away goals, losing the first leg 3-1 before winning 2-0 at home. In the semis, we were demolished. 3-0 and 2-0 losses meant no trophy for us.

    CONCACAF Champions League - Results

The boards expectations were to get to the final which I thought pretty unrealistic, and I was correct. Losing in the semi finals to Deportivo Guadalajara 4-1 on aggregate.

    Playing Squad

    Squad    Awards

We are in possession of some really good players, but the issue is the balance of the side. We have no out and out centre midfielders and this is costing us in the big games. With a transfer window opening soon, I will be looking to improve the midfield, we dont have much transfer budget, so may have to look for some hidden gems.

    Next Season

Coming into the job so late into the season meant this season was all about getting to know who is good enough to help us achieve our aims of silverware. That being said we wasn't a million miles away from winning something and with a few tweaks we should be there or thereabouts next season.

    Appointment

The next stage of our journey is in Mexico with Club Leon FC. The club have had recent success, winning the Liga Bancomer MX 2027 Closing Stage. This seems to have come at a cost, as they then lost 5 players to teams in China, with each player being sold for £12m or more. That money appears to have been reinvested pretty well but something just hasn't clicked, having lost in the Opening Stage semi finals this season, the club sit 8th as I take over, with 13 league games to play. Having never managed in Mexico, it appears the top 8 qualify for the play off format to determine who is crowned Champions. We are also in the CONCACAF (North American Champions League) 1st round and will prioritise this along with trying to get a play off place.

How on earth have Rosario Central made the final, funny how we're similar lengths of time into the game and on yours they're competing for continental success, on mine they're struggling to survive in the Superliga

Even stranger was the fact 3/4 of the semi finalists were Argentine teams. We all know how dominant the Brazilian sides usually are. Serie A was raided for players by the European teams this year but then I think that is a normal occurrence

    Welcome to the leader board.

You're still a long way from completion of the challenge and being a Tom Cruise-like OT VIII, but at least you now have an awareness of yourself in relation to others and the physical universe.

You can now officially call yourself an Ultimatologist, and should devote yourself to harassing anybody who quits the challenge.

Cheers mate. I think i got upto 16 trophies last attempt so still some way off that so the thought of the finish line is still a long way off, getting South America out the way is huge for me because of just how long the seasons are.

    Merry christmas guys!

    Season 9 - Fluminense

    Competitions

    Rio State Championships - Results

The competition with the least importance, a mixture of youngsters and first choice players was still good enough to win the title.

    Serie A - Results 1    Results 2    League Table

After last years 8th placed finish my aim was to at least compete with the top teams, although finishing 8th last season, the talent in the team meant we was not as far away as it seems. We did this and then some, winning the title with 3 games spare and finishing 14 points clear. Last time I did this challenge we couldn't break Corinthians hold on the domestic game, this time around there was no stopping us.

    Copa Libertadores - Results

Last years spanking by River Plate had me desperate to win this year and with our dominant form in the league I was confident we wouldn't be far off. We cruised all the way and even got to avenge that defeat to River in this years semi final, before spanking Rosario Central in the final.

    FA Cup - Results

Having won this last season I placed little value on this and our youngsters went out at the semi final stage.

    Playing Squad

Squad    Transfers    End Of Season Awards

2 players signed at the start of the season were a goalkeeper and a centre back as they were the 2 areas that I felt we were weakest in. We lost superstar striker Cunha to Liverpool midway through the season, but we had 2 great strikers and I couldn't turn down £86m. The squad just got stronger as the season went on. Three key men were :

Claudio (Amr) - He is the most consistent right winger I have ever managed on the game. 25 goals and 38 assists in 57 games.

Vitor (ST) - He started the season as 2nd choice but was soon our star man. 44 goals and 8 assists in 54 games.

Enzo Flores (CM) -  One of my first signings at the club, he took a while to find his feet but in his second season, he really started to shine.

    Manager Profile

At the start of the season I had 12 months remaining on my contract, and the plan was to hold out on signing a new one until I knew if i needed to stay in Brazil another season. With this seasons successes, I have ticked of what was needed and because of this, I refused to sign a new contract and have now left the club. I am quite happy to sit and wait, with the aim to find a decent job in either Mexico or The U.S.A. We are still in charge of the Australian National team and I think I will leave national team updates to the end of either a qualification stage or a competition rather than every year/season. We have won 5 out of 5 qualifiers so far, but all against teams we should be beating anyway.

Never, ever quit an Asian international job if you still need the Asian Cup.

Generally you get 3 chances; S Korea, Australia and China. You probably won't get offered the job again, and after a while (unless you added players at the start) there'll be at most those 3 nations you'll be able to manage.

Yeah I have read a few of you veterans say this a few times so it is ingrained in my head now. I did add the Asian internationals as recommended at the start of the game but I will definitely not be quitting. Expecting the sack to be honest though, under achieving as a host nation is never a good sign.

    AFC ASIAN CUP 2027

We went into the competition as one of the favourites, magnified by us being the host nation. The expectations from the FA were to get to the semi final stage and I thought this would be easily achieved.

    Squad    Results

A poor 3-2 defeat in our first game against Uzbekistan left us with work to do, but we followed this with a 4-1 win against Kyrgyzstan and a 8-1 thumping of Palestine which meant we managed to qualify for the 2nd round. Here we faced Syria and a clinical performance saw us win 5-0. In the QF we faced easily our toughest game yet against Japan. Luongo red card just after a goalless first half put us on the back foot, and they took advantage taking the lead just 4 mins later. In the end, a 1-0 win for Japan was a fair result.

So out earlier than expected, I will more than likely be sacked now which is a shame as I would be willing to stay on for the next four years as jobs is Asia seem to be the toughest to get on the international stage.

    Season 8 2026 - Fluminense

    Competitions

    Overview

    State Championships - Results

The domestic season in Brazil is ridiculously long and starts with a local competition featuring sides from all different divisions, but as it is a region based competition it doesn't count towards the challenge, and is a good chance to experiment before the real stuff gets underway. We started on fire, and managed to pick up the title over dominant domestic side and rivals Flamengo.

    Serie A - League Table    Results 1    Results 2

Our brilliant showings against Flamengo in the state championships had me believing we was in with a real shot of the title, and at times we did look capable, but a horror run of results in August and a poor return in October put paid to any hopes of a title challenge, and we ended up languishing in 8th place. This was the medias prediction and the board seemed happy enough with our showing. We need to improve next season, Flamengo and Santos had shared the previous 7 titles, but this year saw Corinthians crowned as champions so winning the title is going to be some task.

    FA Cup - Results

We played 4 teams and 3 of them finished below us in the league, this was a very lucky run of games and had we played a bigger side, I highly doubt we would have been victorious. Still, you cant complain with a cup win and with it a place in next years Libertadores.

    Copa Libertadores - Results

Having been so convincing in the earlier stages, we had real confidence going into the ties against River Plate, and boy was we knocked back down to earth. Thumped 4-1 in the away leg, a 1-1  home result did nothing for us. Santos were crowned champions after beating River Plate 1-0 in the final.

    Playing Squad

    Squad    Transfers

We have some amazing players, and although I thought we had enough depth, I didnt rotate as much as I maybe should have. We had some bad luck injury wise, but even so we should have finished higher than 8th. I have already sealed 2 deals to improve our first choice GK and added another option at CB. Three key men this season were :

Claudio (AMR) - This man is some player, playing on the right wing he notched 32 goals and 17 assists in 63 games. Now wanted by clubs in China, I am hoping he doesn't want to go chasing the money.

Clayton Cunha (ST) - We have very 2 talented strikers at the club, but Cunha has been brilliant. 39 goals and 4 assists in 58 games shows he means goals.

Joaquim Moyses (AML) -  The man who completes are front 3. 23 goals and 15 assists in 67 games.

Noticing how many games the players have played here and I 100% need to rotate more next season.

    Next Season

Manager Profile    National Appointment    Coaching Badge

We will be sticking around here for another season at least, I left after one season last time I did this challenge due to the length of the seasons but with the Copa Libertadores being a mandatory achievement I dont plan on leaving until that has been achieved, even if we are some way off at the moment. I have also landed a second international role although this looks to be a mistake at the moment. Australia who are ranked 61st in the FIFA rankings have appointed me, but the talent pool is rather small and having won only 1 of 6 friendlies since taking charge, its not looking good. The friendlies have been against sides ranked above us, but results could have been better. Going into the 2027 Asian Cup in early January as defending champions in such a bad run of form is not ideal. Also we have finished our coaching badges, having completed the Pro License.

    New Job

Appointment    Squad    Season preview    Expectations    History

I expected to be without a job for longer than this. Just over a month after we resigned from Wuhan Zall, we have landed a new job in charge of Fluminense in Brazil. This is going to be our toughest role yet I think. Predicted to finish 8th this season, we take over what looks a very talented squad, although short of quality options in central midfield means a slight tactical shift to 2 dms from our usual formation. The club have not won a Serie A title for 14 years, and have never won the Copa Libertadores. With the board expecting us to qualify for the Copa Total Sudamerica this season, we only need to finish 13th or higher so we should get a reasonable amount of time to get things tight here without having to worry about instant success. I still have not just been offered an international job, something which I found to happen often on most previous FM's.

    Competitions

    Overview

CSL - League Table    Results 1    Results 2

I said after last seasons title win that we had over achieved, this season we had the type of season I expected last year. Taking into account my sole aim was to win the Champions league, we rested players for those games and this ultimately cost us. Luckily the boards gave us the aim of qualifying for the Champions league and we achieved this with a 4th placed finish. The bookmakers had us predicted in 5th so least they was almost right for once.

    CFA Cup - Results

A good run to the final, but again rested players due to the Champions League games being 3 days after the final, this ended with us being spanked 6-1 over the two legs.

    Asian Champions League - Results

The main aim of this season, and we managed to win the title at the first time of asking...just. Strong performances all the way until the semis, a 3-3 away result against Guangzhou Evergrande meant a 0-0 draw at home saw us into the final against Al- Hilal (ksa). Another draw away, this time 1-1 was followed by a 0-0 home result to see us crowned champions.

    Playing Squad

Squad    End Of Season Awards    Transfers

I didnt bother making too many transfers this season as I thought the squad we had was strong enough. We are at the limit for foreign players, and the domestic talent to improve on what we already have is hard to come by. Most of the players have progressed well and the team has a good future ahead of it.  Three key men this season were:

Aleksandar Mitrovic -  The big Serbian was not as prolific as last season and picked up a fair few injuries this year, but came up with the big goals in the big games. 12 goals in 24 games.

Yao Weisheng - Has improved massively in the 18 months since we signed him. 7 goals and 7 assists this season.

Lee Seok -  The South Korean was signed this summer to add some extra class to the midfield and he didn't disappoint.

    Manager Profile

Having won all that I need to win in Asia on the club front, I am more than likely going to resign from this job. I have the Mexico, Brazil and Argentina leagues loaded, and although no jobs are open at the moment, im sure some will pop up soon enough. My manager is at 65% reputation now and I am currently studying for the Continental Pro license. I am still on the lookout for another international job, and was really hoping the China or S Korea jobs popped up. I am finding it a lot harder to get a decent international job on this years edition of the game.

After last seasons inconsistencies, I spent the summer reinforcing the squad, we needed to improve our domestic based players, and this was a long winded task. We managed to bring in nearly a whole new squad over the summer and I felt we was in with a chance of at least a top half finish. I overestimated our opponents massively. We started with a loss, but then picked up 8 wins and 1 draw to leave us top after 10 games. From then we just got better and better, eventually sealing the title with 3 games to spare. I knew we had a squad with good potential, but I didnt expect this to flourish so soon. With so much room to improve still, I think this team can go on and dominate domestically for a while to come.

    CFA Cup - Results

We had a nice bit of luck in this years cup, being given a pretty easy route to the final. There we met Guangzhou Evergrande, a 2-2 away draw in the first leg and a 0-0 home result meant we had won a domestic double.

A busy summer as mentioned above meant we went into this season with a young but very high potential team, I never expected them to do so well in all honesty. I will be looking to see where I can improve the team further for the challenge of Continental football next season.  4 key men this season were:

Xu Linpeng - One of our first signings 18 months ago is easily one of our key men. 12 goals and 14 assist prove his worth to our side. Recently played his first games for China and should improve further.

Aleksandar Mitrovic -  The big man up top is doing exactly what he was signed to do...Score goals. 25 goals and 6 assists this season.

Peter Etebo -  Part of my Nigeria team that won the AFCON, he was here when I arrived and is proving a vital cog in our machine. Can be played on the wing or through the middle with equal effect, 17 goals and 4 assists says it all.

Yao Weisheng -  I usually only mention 3 players but I couldnt leave this lad out. Was bought in mid season to add some depth to our midfield, but quickly made the number 10 position his own.  5 goals and 7 assists, he can be a key player for us next season.

The plan is to of course stay here and give the Champions League a good go. Beijing Gouan won the competition this season, and became the first Chinese side to do so since 2015. I am currently at 60% rep and studying for the continental A coaching badge and on the look out for a international job. After this summers EURO'S and Copa Americas, I applied for some top international jobs, but everyone but Bolivia rejected me. I turned that job down as they have won just 2 games since the start of the save and I dont want to damage what is a growing reputation.

    Season 5 2023

Our 3rd club job of the challenge saw us take over a side sitting in 14th and without a win in 9 league games.

We managed to stay up is as positive as I can be here. My first league game in charge was the 3-2 loss to Beijing Renhe and it took us another 2 games before we got the first league win of our reign. We played some good stuff at times, and were dreadful at others, in the end a 10th place finish was all we could expect from what is a pretty poor squad.

    CFA Cup - Results

Our first game in charge was a quarter final tie against Jiangsu Suning and a 2-1 first leg win had me thinking we might get through, only to lose the return 2-0 and bow out the cup.

    Playing Squad

Squad    Transfers    End Of Season Awards

The squad was bloated with high earning foreign players when I arrived, I think we had in total, in a league that has a foreign players in starting 11 rule. So the first thing was to ship out as many as i could, this was alot easier than I thought it would be. In the end I was even able to sign Aleksandar Mitrovic to bolster my attack. The squad still needs some major improvements if we are going to have any chance at challenging for honours. Most of the transfers were done by myself, and alot were young Chinese players who could potentially be key for us in a season or 2.  3 key men this season:

Tao Qianglong - The versatile midfielder was signed in the mid season window and was a key part in our survival. Mainly played in CM, he scored and got 5 assists.

Xu Linpeng - The young LW was signed mid season and is developing into a really good little player. goals and assists.

Aleksandar Mitrovic -  My marquee signing adapted quickly and ended up with 12 goals and assist. I am hoping he can be the man to fire us up the table next season.

    Manager Profile

I have zero plans to move on from here just yet, the club has great finances and the board have agreed to upgrade everything you possibly can. With a hefty transfer budget, I am hoping we can turn this club into winners over the next couple of seasons. I have also just starter my Continental B coaching license.

If that's correct, it almost makes me think we should start a new thread, as the challenge has changed.

    What do people think?

I think that it would be a good idea personally. Also an idea, why not add the Olympics as a World Competition to win?

Cant say i disagree with either of these. Would keep the challenge at 33 comps aswel.
