    AFCON 2023 Review

    Squad     Results

We went into the tournament as one of the favourites, even though the last time Nigeria won the competition was 10 years ago in 2013. Boasting a very talented squad though we had a genuine chance of glory. With the competiton being held in Ivory Coast, and the hosts being the highest ranked African side, it was going to be tough.

    Group Stage

Given a relatively easy group of Guinea, S Africa and Guinea-Bissau, we made light work of the group with 3 easy wins and was able to rotate a few of the players to keep them fresh for the later rounds

    Last 16

Paired with Cape Verde, we was heavy favourites to advance and didn't disappoint, winning 2-1.

    Quarter Finals

The draw I was dreading, favourites and hosts Ivory Coast. A 2-0 win didn't really reflect the match as they was by far the better team. We took the few chances we created, and hung on to seal a spot in the final 4.

    Semi Finals

Given a big derby tie against rivals Ghana meant going out now would have been ever worse, not the side they once was, we manged to seal a final spot with a comfortable 2-0 win.

    Final

The biggest surprise was who we would face, Guinea were runners up in our group and we again made light work of them with a 3-1 win that should have been by even more.

    What's Next

    Manager Profile

I am not quite sure what to do here, resigning after less than a year in charge might not be the best thing to do, we have a decent side here, but are unlikely to challenge for a World Cup which is 3 years away anyway. The USA national team job is open and I have applied for that. They flopped at this years Gold Cup, but with the next one only 2 years away, that could be a good option.

    Season 4 2022/23

    Competitions

ASBA Premiership - League Table   Results 1    Results 2

A dissapointing season ended with a 4th placed finish. We started well, but then had a very inconsistent spell in the middle block of games, and it cost us big time. My main aim was to win the Champions league so granted we did rest players more this season, but we still should have done alot better. With players playing so well coming into this season, we was fending off lots of interest and players were becoming unhappy, this didn't help our cause.

    CAF Champions League - Results

Our sole aim this season as success after last years semi final heartbreak, and we didn't fail. Wins over domestic rivals Cape Town City and Orlando Pirates in the semi's and final meant it was a well deserved success after our domestic struggles.

Other Cups - We played kids and reserves in the cups and failed miserably.

    Playing Squad

Playing Squad    End Of Season Awards

A good squad but one that needs some reinforcement, A bunch of players want to move on and all are attracting interest.  3 key men this season were:

Kobamelo Kodisang - The left winger signed from Braga before i joined was good last season, but was immense this year. 22 goals and 10 assists proved his worth. Has wanted to move on since the start of the season and has done what I asked when saying to play on more year, will be leaving this summer.

Lyle Foster -  The on loan striker was brilliant for the second season running, led the line well and bagged 27 goals and 6 assists.

Lamine Diallo -  My favourite player at the club has gone from strength to strength, is a pleasure to watch with some of the wonder goals he scores. 11 goals and 14 assists, he will be playing in Europe soon im sure.

    Next Season

    Appointment    Manager Profile

Having completed the objectives in African domestic football and the fact the squad requires alot of work done, I decided I would be moving on asap. The day after the Champions League win there was 2 job openings, Dalian Yifang and Wuhan Zall. Interviews were offered by both clubs, Yifang  turned me down Wuhan Offered me the job. Sitting just above the relegation zone with 17 games to go, the club is struggling. However with a war chest of £100m sitting in the budget, we have room to improve the clubs fortunes, with the transfer window opening in a few weeks time, its not the worst time to take over. Being turned down by Yifang means its unlikely I would get a top job in China.

I have also took my first steps into International Management, after the 2022 world cup, numerous jobs were available. I applied for all but was rejected by all except for Nigeria. With a AFCON coming up this summer, this is a good chance to make a name on the international stage.  Ranked 24th in the world, and with only Senegal ranked higher, we are heading into the AFCON as one of the favourites to lift the trophy.

Wait, what? That's quite the jump. It's that "normal" for international management in FM?

Im currently at 30% rep and after the 2022 world cup applied for the Argentina, France, England, Spain, italy, Ukraine and Nigeria jobs. Was rejected by all but Nigeria.

It might be down to him managing in england that he was able to get the national job, is a fair jump though.

    Season 3 2021/22

    Competitions

ASBA Premiership - League Table     Results 1    Results 2

We started with 0 wins in our first 5 games (2 draws, 3 losses) and the sack was looming. A tactical shuffle later and we looked a completely different side, yet our start very nearly cost us as we never hit top spot until only 2 games remained. From there we managed to seal the title on the last day of the season.

    NedBank Cup - Results

I wasn't too worried about winning this having done so last season, but with the league looking out of our hands decided I needed silverware if I was to keep my job if we did fail in the league. In the end our 2nd cup success in a row and a domestic double.

    CAF Champions League -  Results

Breezed through the group stages, then met domestic rivals and last seasons winners Cape Town City, we got a good draw away in the first leg before a brilliant 3-0 win at home sealed our semi final spot. Here we met Egyptian side Al-Ahly who managed to squeeze past us on away goals after a 3-3 aggregate scoreline. In the end Orlando Pirates managed to beat Al-Ahly in the final, which only added to the disappointment. We try again next season.

Other Cups - The board made it cleat that the above 3 competitions are the ones that matter, so we played reserves and youth prospects in the Super 8 and Telekom Cups and went out early in both.

    Playing Squad

Squad    Transfers    End Of Season Awards

A busy summer as the side was nowhere near ready to challenge for the league title but now we have a brilliant side for this league and standard of football. With a balanced group of ages and some real talented youngsters, we should be looking to win the Champions League next season.

Our 3 key men this season were:

Lyle Foster - St - On loan from AS Monaco the striker proved a real handful and will be back with us next season as we aim for that Champions League. 17 goals in 18 starts is a great return and I will expect even better next season.

Lamine Diallo - Amr - Signed in the summer on a free transfer, this lad just went from strength to strength, ending the season with 6 goals and 18 assists from 35 starts.

Teboho Mokoena - Cm - Another summer signing, this time bought for £105k and what a signing he has proved to be. 10 goals and 7 assists from his deep midfield role is a brilliant return.

Having just signed a new 2 year contract, and the need for the African Champions League, I wont be going anywhere else just yet. We should be one of the favs for the competition this coming season, and I fancy our chances with the squad we have and the players room for even more improvement, We have also bagged our first coaching license, and are up to 30% rep.

I also had a first international job offer from UAE but rejected the offer as I doubt they can realistically challenge for honours.

  5. First Move - TS Galaxy to Mamelodi Sundowns

    Appointment

On the back our success in the Cup, opponents Mamelodi Sundowns have sacked their manager, interviewed me and hired me within 3 weeks. This is a massive opportunity and one I couldn't turn down. A massive, historical club with multiple honours, this gives us a great chance to win some honours. The only negative is a 3rd placed finish last season means no Champions League football this year.

Edit: I was wrong, we are in the Champions League Preliminary draw.

    National First Division

Season Preview    Results 1    Results 2      League Table

A loss in the first game was followed by 11 straight wins, and we never really looked like losing. In the end we managed to seal the title with 2 games and played some superb football along the way.

    NedBank Cup

    Results    11/04/2021     23/05/2021

This team does love this competition. A second triumph in the clubs six year existence and we did it by beating some of the big guns along the way.  The above dates show the game when saved just to show there is no save/reload nonsense going on over here. Winning this has meant we qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup, effectively Africa's Europa League. This should provide the club with some much needed income as we currently sit £1.4m in the red even after our cup win.

    Playing Squad

Transfers    Playing Squad    End of season award

After last seasons play off heartbreak, we had a busy summer of shifting the numerous dead wood at the club, re;easing 40 players in total, and bolstering the squad with some better players. I used the loan market wisely, and got some players who could easily play in higher leagues. We signed 10 players, spending only £5k but managed to balance the wage bill to stay within budget.

    Manager Profile

After this season, I genuinely think that with the right additions, we can potentially challenge for the title. We have already agreed deals for 2 players who join on free transfers in the summer, and with the lure of continental football, should be able to snap up a few more. We have a young and talented team, with a few experienced players in the mix which gives the squad good balance. Add to that, they seem to fit my tactics perfectly. I will keep m eye out for bigger roles, as I still havent been able to start a coaching badge after 2 seasons of play.

Game Set Up    Manager Profile    Appointment

Our first role is with South African National First Division side TS Galaxy. The job intrigued me as even though they were languishing in 15th place, they actually won the NedBank Cup in 2018/19 so I thought they must have a few decent players etc. Once appointed, I realised just how big a job this is going to be. A club struggling financially, with a bloated squad of average players, but a decent group of talented youngsters not being played.

    Season 1 - 2019/20

League Table    Play Off Table    Results    End Of Season Awards

I had expected to struggle after taking charge with 15 games to go sat in 15th placed. We almost performed a miracle, unbeaten in those 15 games saw us fly up and finish 3rd. This put us in the Play Offs, but these proved a step too far. We managed 4 draws, and finished bottom out of the 3 sides.

     Next Season

The board have cut the wage budget from £26k a week to £18k . The club needs a major squad reduction, but this is going to be quite a simple task. 95% of the players at the clubs contract expire this summer, so even though I wont be able to sell anyone, I will be able to slash the wage budget by a hefty amount. We should also be able to get a few decent youngsters in on loan and if we can keep or form going, should be in the promotion race next season. With the clubs finances being so poor, I am yet to start a coaching badge.

Whilst it's good that you've got a bigger job, surely there must be a reputation thing happening as in real life would a manager who's spent 18 months or however long it is you've played go from Kettering to Pompey? I'd say doubt it, but good luck.

Does seem like a big jump. I have noticed that your manager is assigned tactical preferences on this years game. Im one season in and have "plays a possession based style" and "plays high pressing style of play". This may help get a better than expected job based on style of play maybe.

  9. After failing miserably on my first attempt, im back with another attempt.

Handed the reigns with just 2 games remaining in the league, sitting in 6th positions means we wont be getting a easy title and will have to focus on next season. We are however in the cup semi final, our first game being the first leg and we lost 1-0 to Persib Bandung who currently top the league.

    Many thanks, both.

@Lewis89 - I've been reading your thread and it is nice to know that it isn't really possible to turn them into a dominant force, not quickly, anyway!

It has been a struggle but one that I've really enjoyed.

Yeah im enjoying the struggle myself. In my first attempt I found it alot easier due to allowing myself loan signings etc, but using only youth/Sammarinese players has added a whole new level to it.

  11. I have noticed stefano pellini and Mateo Gaspieri are now Sammarinese in your save, how has that happened? Didnt think it was possible to gain Sammarinese nationality?

I am San Marino in my save and would love to have them play for the national side.

Cracking progress btw, really enjoying the save.

And the plaudits keep on coming. 20 years old, and already San Marino’s top national scorer of all time, and now the leading scorer for San Marino Calcio.

He’s just turned 21. If he continues at the rate he’s going, he’ll be a certifiable legend.

Completely forgot to do my yearly update on the 1st, so it’s two game-weeks late.

We’re top of the league, and leading by quite a distance. It’s remarkable just how solid we are defensively. We’ve conceded 9 goals in 20 games with 11 clean sheets. Brewster has been outstanding as Raumdeuter on the right, and his partnership with Adjapong has been vital.

We’re 11 points clear at the top, and it’s exciting for us. We’re also through in the Champions Cup. We topped the group with a game to spare, so I let the kids loose against OL. They lost, but it was able to get them some match experience and rest our key players.

    Stand out players so far:

    Rhian Brewster, AMR, 23 apps, 6 goals, 5 assists, 2.13 dribbles per match, 4 POM’s at 7.23

Samir, DCL, 25 apps, 2 goals, 91% tackle rate with 1.16 tackles per match, 86% pass success rate, 2 POM’s at 7.22

Moritz Grab, AML, 23 apps, 8 goals, 5 assists, 1.54 dribbles per match, 81% pass success rate, 5 POM’s at 7.21

Claud Adjapong, DR, 24 apps, 1 goal, 3 assists, 90% tackle rate with 2.21 tackles per match, 4 POM’s at 7.16

Mason Mount, MCL, 23 apps, 6 goals, 4 assists, 90% pass success rate, 83% tackle rate with 1.93 tackles per match, 2 POM’s at 7.10

    7th March 2025 - Youth Intake Day

A hugely disappointing youth intake this year. The best prospect is potentially average, and the next best is potentially below average, and they’re both Italian. If they were Sammarinese, that would’ve softened the blow a bit more, but overall I’m rather underwhelmed.

    907301089_Screenshot2019-05-17at09_40_44.thumb.png.3eda0afbf758dfa9f0e8e0e405e04c04.png

Our first Italian Cup Final. We’re playing against Roma. We haven’t been playing very well lately (even though we trounced Cagliari 6-1 in our last match) so I’m quite apprehensive about our chances.

Let’s just go out there and see what we can do!!

Winners!! A clinical 2-1 win has seen us lift our maiden Italian Cup. And, I’ve decided that at the end of the season, I’ll be handing in my notice. We won the league last year and we’re sitting at the top of the tree this year. I can chalk off winning the league and the cup in Italy, and even though every team is a million miles away, we can win the Champions League with a San Marino domestic team.

Besides. The earlier I can improve the San Marino league reputation, the earlier I can improve the National Team.

We’d played on Saturday 2nd May 2025, and were 12 points clear over Lazio who had 4 games left to play. Genoa managed to stun Lazio, winning 2-1, making us proud champions for the second successive season.

And with that Scudetto in the bag, I have tended my resignation. We’ve done the Double and are not in Europe, so there’s nothing more to play for this season, and with that in mind, I’ll be moving onto pastures new.

I’ll be on the hunt for a Sammarinese domestic team to take over. It’s going to be a huge challenge to make a San Marino league team a European titan, and I may need to upgrade a few teams in order to increase the league’s credibility but I’m going to be driving them as hard as I can to be the pinnacle of football. My theory is that by increasing the league’s reputation overall, that will increase the quality of players coming into the clubs.

We were so far ahead in the league that it just became a matter of when we’d be champions than if. We had some absolute superstars this season.

    Stand-out players this season:

Mason Mount, MCL, 46 apps, 19 goals, 10 assists, 88% pass success rate, 83% tackle rate with 2.26 tackles per match, 5 POM’s at 7.25

    Rhian Brewster, AMR, 42 apps, 12 goals, 12 assists, 24 chances created, 8 POM’s at 7.22

Samir, DCL, 48 apps, 4 goals, 90% tackle rate with 1.12 tackles per match, 85% pass success rate, 2 POM’s at 7.18

    Moritz Grab, AML, 45 apps, 10 goals, 9 assists, 21 chances created, 6 POM’s at 7.16

John Kitolano, DL, 37 apps, 3 assists, 80% tackle rate with 1.53 tackles per match, 83% pass success rate, 4 POM’s at 7.09

Notable mention to Maurizio Albani again. 42 apps and 19 goals. Just shy of a goal every other game.

    4th June 2025

Following an interview, I’ve been unveiled as the Manager of Libertas. The team is in a bit of a sorry state but it’s exactly what I was expecting. I’ve been given a transfer budget of £1m, which is far above what I was expecting. It’s exciting in terms of money, but I will need to find some good players who will want to drop into a lower reputation league. Hopefully my World Class reputation will entice some people to join my revolution.

Hows the domestic league doing? Think it starts with 1 semi pro side and ranked something like 198th.

Good luck in san marino, im 6 years in (so similar date to yourseld) and we have 4 semi pro sides atm.

  13. Season Review 2034/35

    Competitions

    20190426224626_1.thumb.jpg.ef3b602cccf568d2baf11f2d281d72c5.jpg    20190426224654_1.thumb.jpg.9117f3b3d24ebc06008c1feab4d762df.jpg

Another steady but unspectacular season. With our youth only policy now into its 4th season, I was happy we managed to finish in 2nd place. As long as we can continue finishing in the top four, our job is safe, and we can continue developing youngsters. In the Champions League we were unlucky to lose to Man United on the away goals rule. The best news this season is we finally won the Italian Cup. Its only taken us 17 Seasons. We also wont the UEFA Super Cup and Italian Super Cup. We also sealed a first ever U20s Division 1 title. You will see from the above shot, Atlanta have been the dominant side at this level, so beating them in the final was a great achievement and shows our focus on youth is really starting to work.

    Squads

    20190429092836_1.thumb.jpg.742960cbf57d3bc7d42f1aa5d2d5b947.jpg    20190429093154_1.thumb.jpg.6f3f1a43e13a590913f75a9797a36e4a.jpg    20190429093150_1.thumb.jpg.46dbaa9bc853ab244a5bb9df9ca483ca.jpg

Above is the Senior and U20s squads at the club. A few players filter between both, particularly the youngsters who dont play for the senior squad often just yet. But we had 17 HG players play games for the first team last season, and that should rise again this year due to the promise shown by the U20s side in winning the league. Going through the two squads, I am almost at the point where I could sell everyone who didnt come through our academy, and maybe fight for a Europa League place, but then I would maybe get sacked and it will be challenge over.

    Next Season.

Same again really, just need to keep getting more national side eligible players into the first team.

  14. Youth Intake Day 2035

I am delighted with this years intake, not only do we have 3 really good players, but the fact that all are San Marino eligible. ST Tamagnini 35a is the pick of the bunch, apparently he is a generational talent, but we will see about that. He does look ridiculously talented already though, shame he is dual nationality and will most likely never play for our national side. Next in line is CB Buscarini 35b, this is a really important one for us, as we are lacking CB's for the national side, and we have a potentially really good one here, no dual nationality either so happy days. Third pick is GK Simoncini 35c, another lad who could be a good player, dual nationality but I dont think he will be ousting Ceravolo 25c as Italy's number 1 anytime soon. The other 2 lads shown are both LW's Vagnini 35d and Mularoni 35e. This is a position the national team is lacking in, and although they wont ever be stars, im hoping I can develop one enough to at least make us a bit more stronger depth wise.

  15. National Team Update 2034

UEFA Nations League B Group 1

    20190425150935_1.thumb.jpg.62938ed6bae6dea0316d594ada6e75c0.jpg    20190425150931_1.thumb.jpg.d173742567a069553fbf8a8ce6df9797.jpg

Being in Division B, I knew we was in for a tough test, being paired with Austria(19th) and Greece(37th) meant we was heavy favourites for relegation. We managed to defy the odds and stay up, finishing in 2nd place. Getting a point of Austria, and a win against Greece were big results, as were the 4 friendlies played this year, all against sides in the FIFA top 50.

    EURO 2036 Qualifiers

    20190425151841_1.thumb.jpg.2282d24ccec72e0ffa90335c1c8ecfd2.jpg

Now maybe I am being delusional here, but I think this is our best ever chance of finishing in 2nd and maybe sneaking a play off place. Spain should be way too strong for the whole group, however the other 3 sides, we can beat. Im looking forward to getting these games underway.

    Squad

    20190425151043_1.thumb.jpg.64f87c25ca155c4160ad2864fdee1724.jpg

Getting better each year, but we still lack players in a few areas. We are desperate for a striker, Valentini 19a is still the best we have. I am trying to convince a dual nationality striker to turn his back on Italy and play for us. He straight up refused at first, but is now having chats with me everytime I ask, so I am hopeful he will give in soon. We also need centre backs and a left winger. Minus that, we have the core of a pretty good team.

    Nation Overview

    20190425151013_1.thumb.jpg.a04e2322c5123b81e338d73c0e41184b.jpg

We are ranked 75th in the world, which is a big improvement from the start of the game, but in all honesty, I feel we are alot better than that. We have only climbed 3 places in 12 months and thats slow progress considering the wins against sides in the top 50.

    U21s

    20190425152720_1.thumb.jpg.063ab372cc5af84d0f61fab0d65f8424.jpg    20190425152726_1.thumb.jpg.3b5c16942e17d92ef140b41f2306471c.jpg    20190425152731_1.thumb.jpg.e66e5fd05a014b961e3eeed05941d85f.jpg

A disappointing year to be honest, I thought we could push for 2nd maybe, but ended up in 4th.

    U19s

    20190425152950_1.thumb.jpg.b18e7dc4b07de646193fd72146b870e1.jpg     20190425153235_1.thumb.jpg.b8e7e1d3c47ffded5c0bee15cac63bb7.jpg    20190425153303_1.thumb.jpg.d8da39a692312c8c1249be10e12e7d25.jpg    20190425153308_1.thumb.jpg.0bac4ed70a1f12ddd9feb65bc805b853.jpg

A much better performance here though, managing to steal 2nd place and with it, qualify for the 2nd QR. Thats where our campaign ends though, as Germany and Italy will more than likely spank us. I am going to prioritise the U19s over the U21s for this campaign though, just to see if we can sneak into the finals.

I'm interested in giving managing San Marino a go, but I'd like to do it as part of an ongoing save I have, so I haven't ticked to include all the Sammarinese players. If I used an in-game editor to change the nationality of a bunch of players, would it be possible to unlock that option (and how many would I need to change if it is possible)?

Never known anyone to do it that way. Not sure its possible without ticking that option at the start of the game, but im no expert.

  17. Season Review 2033/34

    Competitions

    20190416171905_1.thumb.jpg.78da457ddddee75fb149bd2f72d66abf.jpg

The aim was to get back into the top 4 after last seasons complete blow out, and we managed to finish 2nd, taking the title to the last 2 games. I am very happy with this as we haven't signed anyone (minus 2 ex youth products) for the last 3 seasons. We had a head start on a full blown youth save, but winning the title is proving difficult enough this way. Milan are a real quality side, and will take some topping. In the Europa League we played mainly 2nd choice players, and just kept winning, admittedly I played the big boys in the semi's and Final, and we managed to win a maiden Europa League. The TIM Cup was again a failure, getting all the way to the final, only to lose to Milan, being 1-0 up in the 92 minute makes it hurt all the more. That's now 16 seasons without winning it, I am seriously thinking we never will.

    Playing Squad

    20190416172041_1.thumb.jpg.7a4388a8c560a83b428cb7993944eae5.jpg

We now have 12 HG Players in and around the first team picture, and that is only going to increase from now on until we have a full squad of just HG players. It wont be for a few years yet as I need to stay competitive aswel as bring through youth products. You will also see fron the overall best 11 that GK Paolo Ceravola 25c is now on a very impressive 41 career goals. At the age of just 25, I am really hoping I can get him to the 100 club.

Moretti 20b was bought back to the club, he was sat on Napoli's bench so thought rather mine than theirs. Other than that no signings, and just squad players moved on.

    Youth Sides

    U20s

    20190416174131_1.thumb.jpg.ba84419b7e51bb86cfb8f438e88ff7fd.jpg

After suffering relegation to Division 2 last season, I took over for this campaign, and we was way too strong for the opposition. I am going to stay in charge for next season, and see if we can land a maiden u20s title.

    u18s

    20190416174404_1.thumb.jpg.bc6e59e43fbb4db070cc0db27b780b97.jpg

I have former Atletico centre back Jose Gimenez in charge of our u18 side, and in his first season in charge, they have been immense. I took a punt on him, as his stats are not amazing, but with a perfectionist personality, I thought he may do well. They managed to win the league comfortably, and get to the play off final, losing 1-0 to lazio u18s. Thats the 2nd time we have lost in the final, as we await our first ever trophy at youth level.

    Aims For Next Season

We need top 4 at the very least, having won a few league titles, Im not too bothered about winning it again until we have just HG players in the squad, my main focus will be with the youth sides, ensuring all Sammarinese players are being given sufficient playing time in order to maximise any potential. Being in charge of all 3 National sides, (Senior, u21s and u19s) I am going to need all players at every level match fit to realistically break the habit and get qualified for a major tournament at any level. I am also aiming to win the u20s Division 1 title and don't think it is too unrealistic a aim.

  18. Youth Intake Day 2034

This is the most important day in any save of this kind, and this year we have been blessed with a really decent intake.

    20190416101547_1.thumb.jpg.44f5dbca7faf3f1eeedd1e3f668dbae1.jpg

     20190416101552_1.thumb.jpg.afd053f78377b3c8fe8c77790ad1c34b.jpg     20190416101556_1.thumb.jpg.a4b767843d6d5f5c5efcd2f51055a27c.jpg     20190416101609_1.thumb.jpg.243a2256b0cdc56eb79ba91d99477c4f.jpg

Some of you might be thinking its a pretty average intake, which it is, depending on how you look at it. Alot of intakes have consisted of mainly Italian players, which is frustrating, this one however, consists of just 1 player not eligible for San Marino. And with 6 players rated at 2.5* P.A, this could be a really important intake, you might be thinking 2.5* is not really that good, but it equates to a decent Serie A player, which would still be decent as back up options for the national team.

Pick of the bunch is Valentini 34a. A Cm with the annoying dual nationality, he looks like he could go on to be a star. He has already rejected a call up for us, but hopefully we can sway him later on in the save. Next up is Zafferani 34b, this is a huge pull for us, we have been screaming out for a decent Rb in the national side, and he looks the part. Single nationality means we dont have to worry about Italy stealing him from us. The third player I have picked to show is Pasolini 34f. Now he doesnt look like anything special, and I am not expecting him to ever turn into a world beater, but we are also lacking  depth in both the club and national sides, and he could turn into a decent option for this.
