Hey @Bobbymonk this sounds like you may have selected the check box upon starting the game that disables activity in the first window. Do you recall if you had selected this at all?

Substitutions

You can make 5 subs from 3 stoppages in line with the rules. So you would need to plan on doubling up on certain stoppages if you're looking to use them all. If you're encountering issues still when making them across the three stoppages then we can look into this further. -
If you are still encountering this issue we would need a save game from before the the game and a rec file (this would be in the automatics folder if the game does not finish). A guide on uploading these files is available here:

There have been changes with the formations available and so this is by design, the base options available are more in line with the positions in which teams utilise their pivoting roles.
