  1. I would rotate them in more for sure. However, a losing season does mean the dynamics will be quite rough so I'd keep that in mind too.
  2. 2026/26 Midseason: Wild swings of inconsistency, but I still think the team settles into a lower-mid table spot. Another strong intake preview. However, something I forgot about when the club downgraded to semi-professional was the existing contracts. I'm going to lose a bunch of players that won't renew. Hopefully, with the new intake, I'll have enough to continue though.
  3. 2024/25 Season Review: Injuries hit hard in the second half and then form took a dive hard. Thankfully a win in the final match kept us up. All the spicey moves will be in the next year's update. As known finances in Belgium are awful. The club downgraded to semi-pro and a ton of offers came in for players. Really incredible by first-year intake standards. Quite a few immediately jumped into first team, and unfortunately quite a few of those players have already moved to first division clubs. 2025/26 Season Preview: I knew with the known Belgium finance issues this had short-run potential. However, I really like the idea of trying to make it work. This means a drastically different playstyle than I usually do. Until I can get the club into a good financial position I am not filling U21/18 roster or staff. Any Top Belgium or other teams come after players sell with clauses and friendlies. Even at the cost of maxing immediate value. Build up as many clauses as possible. This will also keep roster and budget sizes down. Well, that's the goal at least.
  4. 2024/25 Midseason Review: Took a little bit for the squad to settle together and now settled into a comfortable midtable spot with a shot at a promotion. Not many players on this initial roster though so with injuries or other issues arising it could falter fast. Not sure if this is going to be awesome or just because the roster is so thin.
  5. I know there are money issues with Belgium but I had the urge to try there, so we'll see how long it lasts. Not much is expected from the team, and it's a pretty thin roster. Since I don't have high hopes for the longevity of this save I decided to be a bit more experimental with the tactics. There are no good strikers in the squad, and the best player top position is shadow striker. I took the opportunity to go strikerless and asymmetrical. It's still a work in process, but about a third through the season and I'm mid-table.
  6. 2036/37 Season Review: So close to repeating as champions. Too many dropped points, and this has a huge cascading effect as 1st is only spot that goes right into group phase. After getting stomped by Bayern I made a few tactical tweaks for in match when we're the big underdog and it served quite well. We made it out of the league phase fairly comfortably but wound up with a tough match in Chelsea. I was shocked to win 3-0 in the first leg, but very disappointed to give up 5 to get knocked out. Still it's some solid progress. Despite not wanting to lose two of my better forwards I didn't want to tank morale and they wouldn't sign new contracts anyway. I think all things considered the morale boost probably helped. Youth Intake: A real good intake with a variety of positions. With moving on from some players there will be jobs to claim in the coming seasons. 2037/38 Season Preview: Expectations rising. In the league, I think a top-two finish is to be expected. Hopefully, win the league. The Champions League dream is already over. Here's the cascading effect I mentioned. Really tough to get Ajax here. Even more frustrating is having 2 goals disallowed in the final leg. Both the squad and board were very unhappy to lose. Job security is Secure still, but it was once "Untouchable" Unless I get more bad draw luck I expect to make it pretty deep in Europa League.
  7. I almost feel bad about this lol. The funny thing is my former star keeper went to Barcelona and he had to watch his mediocre backup hold them to a draw.
  8. 2035/36 Season Review: Well after another brief try in England, I went back to my Israel save. No real issues in the league phase which put us into the Championship group. Unfortunately, we dropped too many points and did not retain our league title. We still qualify for the Champions League but have to go through playoffs to make the competition proper. One of the toughest draws I've seen and it went as expected. Disappointing we couldn't sneak an upset in somewhere. Despite not needing the money I accepted a transfer offer for a good player. I think the combination of getting crushed in the Champions League and unhappy players from me not letting them go led to some morale manager issues which may have cost us the league. For a season or two I'll experiment with selling players that meet the sell value promise system with as much as I can get over their value. Youth Intake: A decent-looking preview, but an exceptional intake. I'm really excited for the goalie as we've been lacking since my last good one left. 2036-37 Season Preview: In the league, I expect to challenge for the league title. That's what's now expected of me as well. The league draw is much more manageable this season. It's still a very challenging draw, but I do believe we have a shot at qualifying for the knockout.
  9. I'm apparently not meant to manage in England. Pretty harsh since we hadn't even hit the halfway mark.
  10. Decided to try England yet again. No real reason for picking this team. these are from a kit pack I assume. I just kept them for the first season. higher expectations than I expected, but half the team got signed out from under me as I was starting up so now I have just enough to field a full squad of non-gray players. Also a weird bug I assume where noncontract players are transfer listed, but I cannot unlist them so I can never sign them.
  11. 2034-35 Season Review: Ligat One Zero (Israel 1st division) League Phase: After a strong close to the previous season, I was pretty confident we would advance to the championship group without issue. I was not expecting to have steamrolled the league though. Ligat One Zero (Israel 1st division) Championship Group: Our first league championship! I definitely did not see this coming. I hoped we would compete for the title but after a slow start once we got a lead it was never in doubt. Conference League: I expected to finish top 8 in the league phase, but much like in our domestic league, I wasn't expecting to run away with things. The rounds of 16 and 8 didn't offer much competition, but in the Semi Final we drew the one team I didn't want. Then the goal became to not embarrass ourselves. A 3-0 loss on the road left a glimmer of hope, and while we only won 1-0 at home I'm very pleased with a two-goal aggregate loss to a premier league club. Transfers and misc data: Nothing much to report here. Only let one player go. Was able to get the training upgrade back. Youth Intake: Not the strongest preview, but we're in a position where the team has depth pretty much everywhere but goalie. Basically my wish is a keeper, a superstar, and/or at least three players with potential worth signing. Well, one for three on the wishlist. No keeper and no superstar. However, five players are worth signing and the top player has superstar potential. 2035-36 Season Preview: Expectations are ramped up a bit more than in the previous few years. It's a bit strange to say I'm concerned after steamrolling the league last season, but how much of it was us taking a major step forward, luck, or other teams having bad years? We'll find out. WE're also back in the Champions League, our second-ever appearance. That is absolutely brutal.
  12. 2033/34 Season Review: Europe: Not much to say here. A fairly tough draw for a qualifier and two evenly matched-up teams. Unfortunately for us, we lost on penalties and our European adventure quickly ended. Ligat ONE ZERO - League Phase: We had a real struggle at the beginning of the season. Our wonderkid keeper left us, and his replacement broke his leg and was out for the season. It took about 10 matches for the former 3rd string keeper to find form, but not before he too missed some time. Once things stabilized we began climbing up the table and comfortably made the Championship Group. Ligat ONE ZERO - Championship Group: We only lost one match in the final ten, but unfortunately, that cost us a third-place finish and a shot at the Europa League. Regardless I'm very pleased with the results. At one point early in the season I was concerned my job would be in jeopardy. Transfers and league/facilities data: Just a little house cleaning. Moving on from some players that weren't good enough. Another State Cup win makes me now the only club Legend. Despite having a ton of money the club is not letting me upgrade the facilities that were downgraded. Youth Intake: No immediate world-beater, but a very deep intake for the future covering most of the positions. 2034/35 Season Preview: Expectations are up a little bit this season compared to the last few. As long as the team keep progressing I think a top 3 finish is feasible. Lacking at keeper as the two we have are average at best. really favorable draw here. It'd be a catasrophic failure to not make knockouts. I think top 8 is more than doable here.
  13. My best player was my keeper, but he wouldn't sign a new contract and left on a free. That left me with just two keepers in the whole system that are not nearly as good. However, I'd like to have one of them please.
  14. 2032/33 Season Review: A heavy Schedule and the fairly young team really struggled through it. Barely managed to qualify for the champion group split. We finished safely in the group stage of the Europa League, but not in the top 8. Made it to the round of 16 but were outclassed. With a pretty mediocre run going into the split, I'm happy with how the last ten matches went. Facing the top competition in the league we managed to finish fourth and improve our GD. Not pictured here is losing our best player, and keeper, on a free. Money is no object to this club so I'd rather keep them as long as possible and lose on a free than get money I can't spend. Still making steady progress in league and another State Cup win. Hopefully, I am given the option to improve Youth Facilities soon. Youth Intake: Strong intake with some help on the offensive that is needed. Overall just looking for future difference makers to help push up the table. 2033/34 Season Preview: Not pictured is the expectations to make the Conference League. Unfortunately, we got a fairly tough Eredivisie matchup and lost on penalties so did not qualify. All I can do there is hope with less match congestion we can make a stronger push in league.
  15. I think I did Kids Tampa and either bombed out or got bored.
  16. Well I forgot to take pic of fired and table at time. I did capture the xG table though. After 11 matches I was fired. Only 1 win and 4 draws. That XGA of +10 is brutal. I was curious if they would turn around without me not really. they beat the same team I got a win three more times and a win against a team I drew. So what's next? I'm open to suggestions.
  17. I decided to give Croatia another try. I had an interesting team there in FM22 but finances blew it up. I played a couple of matches to get a feel for where the team is and uh...it's not great. We're not getting blown out, but no offense at all. The bottom three are automatically relegated, and 9th is in a relegation playoff. Hopefully, things get worked out or this could be a brief run.
  18. Well, I should have known better than to trust what I saw. Never won a match lol. Something new later tonight.
  19. Wanting yet another run in England. Not sure what drew me to this team, but here I am. I downloaded some kit packs so I'll roll with what they have for this first season. 2023-24 Season Preview: To get a good feel for the club I did preseason friendlies against a handful of team projected to be top half in the South and fared well enough to give me confidence that we should stay up.
  20. Reviving this. Not high hopes, but may as well see it out.
