Pressing forward on defend is fantastic, it is very important that he does NOT take any efforts in this formation imho, just simple drop deep, give the ball, go back in the line. Amcr and ss have "stay wider" checked so they are playing as half-wingers too and wing-backs are encouraged to cross. I distribute from the keeper to ss, it works rather well.

That might be true this year. There are a lot of crossbars in real life too though. Get players with better defensive attributes or better defensive coaches. Also that's exactly what good footballers with good movement do irl. Also, you might be playing with too aggressive mentality. Also there's a "drop off more" instruction, if you don't want this make sure it's enabled. I'm pretty sure that "play for set pieces", "cross more" and "cross from byline" fixes this. Not too sure about that, could be high eccentricity combined with poor decisions. Try "be more disciplined" as a team instruction. The game replicates real life, so mistakes happen sometimes. Why does it bother you? Switch to "cautious mentality", "ease off tackles" or just add the trait "does not dive into tackles" if the player is mentally poor. There's literally a whole section in "Data hub"? That's not true, there's an "error factor" from referees in the game which I personally love.

I don't have the achievement either, you would have to get a really good player and fit all fan culture criteria too it seems. I think B+ is what I reached the most.

I like them all, I believe the one with the advanced forward would be better for worse teams to ease the pressure a little bit by having the forward spearhead, all of them could be useful though.

I think I had about close to 40, however a lot of people (me included) play in easy leagues with OP players usually, so I'd guess that's why it's not that rare as it sounds.

I think it's a great tactic and fits the players too, why "drop off more though", if anything it would be the opposite really? However your full backs are not that great defensively and your winger is not fantastic, so a 5-3-2 would probably be a better option, Pedro and Araujo would form a nice partnership up front I'd guess. But if it works as is, don't change it?

That's probably width, set it to a narrower option or you could try "focus passing on the left/right" to give the mentality there a slight boost. Btw he looks perfectly positioned to me

You want him to be off-side? Sometimes attackers do it though, then someone else comes up from deep. I've only seen it in strikers in FM mainly I think. It makes more sense for the central forward to make this run anyway I think, but not sure.

Do you have players with good physicals? Also are they experienced? I believe those two are important.

It's not as easy as you think imho, even Montpellier would be a challenge. AI brings lots of good players in the top 5-6 teams. I managed them last year and boy was it hard! I'd go with them since it's a very likable team.

I would never consider selling Kane, even if you play 4-3-3 I'd use him in one flank as a playmaker. In 4231 the answer is easy, Amc as playmaker. In 442 (eww) he would make an amazing dlf. He can mentor a younger member of your squad, so he's really really useful. That would be his worst role behind center back or goalkeeper irl lol. But fm is a crazy game so it might work idk.

How is it focused on possession when you counter and have the forward(s) on attack is my question. In my opinion, the forward should retreat in a possession-based system.What do you see in the highlights? He's using low crosses though.

Well I was thinking it might be plain incompatible, however I'm 99,9% sure it's not the case, RAM is RAM, the game should run flawlessly with DDR5. Regarding the GPU, well it almost costs the same and has a better processor (which is our main concern), whether the GPU is an overkill it shouldn't really matter, consider it a bonus? You may want to play something different, more demanding, you never know.

I'm definitely NOT going to play 22, I like the fact that players always try for a goal in this engine, this wasn't the case in the previous one imho. I mean I see even the fullbacks or the stoppers trying for a goal, the game is so aggressive and fun But if you wish to return to 22 it's fine by me, do what you like the most, isn't that the point anyway, for the player to have fun. Regarding some of your arguments: about the slowing down, the cause of this is not the game for sure, so that's not a valid argument. I haven't noticed anything regarding the player sales, I don't have issues selling them at good prices at all. My attackers score lots of goals, so you might be on a bad streak or something. I literally play the default Gegenpress and it is as broken as in 22 lol (in the Portuguese league though, not sure where are you managing, if it's Sporting it should really work since the players there do a lot of mistakes). Once again, if you want to go back, do so by all means! It's all about having fun, if you feel 22 was better, then just play it
