  1. Hmm, didn't know these ones. Will give it a look when I am working on my continental cups.
  2. Problem is that Ajax suffer from the same issue as Man Utd the last few years, FM can't sim the chaos at the club.
  3. Pricey nicey hobby a screen like that. I kept it at 3 24 inchers.
  4. I can see the value of it, but it is executed so poorly in football. I go to Dutch First Division (second level) and they have no VAR. It does mean some frustration when you can clearly see the ref miss something, but at least you are not watching the field for 10 minutes, not having a clue what the hell is going on.
  5. The preferences and caches in C:\Users\YourComputer\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024 if you play on Windows. Not sure what the path on a Mac would be.
  6. I managed to finish the temp files for Hungary, Romania, Yugoslavia, Poland and Soviet Union yesterday as well, so I can fully concentrate on the small nations now. Probably will run a few tests along my editing. Hopefully not (too) much headaches with the small nations. It does give me much more appreciation for the @DaveTheEditor's work now I have to redo it in FM24
  7. England join EU.fmf New testfile created. This allows for England to join the EU, so agreement changes are shown when the game is able to trigger them. I have not been able to remove the Brexit mention in the Premier League rules in anyway, not even when removing all Work Permit Rules, so this looks to be hardcoded.
  8. The Brexit mention looks like either hardcoded or the agreement not being processed for every page. The rules shown for the Premier League are based on the Post-Brexit Work Permit Rules, so testing now what happens when I change them to original and depending on the outcome if I remove them completely.
  9. Only thing I need to check for myself is whether retroactively works, but since it is almost midnight here, that's for tomorrow.
  10. Here is the file for the rejoin. I set the year on 2024 on purpose, so I could check both the for and after situation in game England join EU.fmf
  11. Based on other threads, whoever has crashing, can you try cleaning the cache and preferences and see if that helps?
  12. Always a good thing to do, check what works and then copy the basics from there
  13. Based on other threads, can you try and delete your cache and preferences and see if the file works then?
  14. We have a known issue with the game crashing with custom databases at the moment. Interesting that it works for 2 out of 3 start options.
  15. The Western European and Asian competition that are in the game in default version have been redone. I have made temporarily versions for Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia and West Germany. I will need to do Hungary, Romania, Yugoslavia, Poland and Soviet Union in temporrarily form and then it is on to the small European nations. Next 10 days will be about the small nations (I will lose 2 days editing time in that period, unfortunately in the weekend). After that I have two weeks planned of loading in the international competitions and make them game-ready (again missing out on the very usual weekendtime ) Early december I hope to start converting the West Germany and East-European files. With some luck, issues with the editor have been fixed (mostly) by the time.
  16. With your file it is hard to say what goes wrong without the file.
  17. Lol, that is a coincidence you thought of, not me 42 is just the perfect number, so that's why I changed it.
  18. Have never seen the rule before, so expect it to be hardcoded.
  19. Yeah, these are separate. I think the GB one is having hard-coded to be usable for the Olympic Games and can't be used properly to convert to a different nations. At least, that's what happened in FM20 and FM22.
  20. The answer is no. This is set in the database by researcher and something we can't access via the editor. The crude way is the only way to achieve something like that.
  21. Yes, there are instances where VAR messes up. Beardpulling irritation.
  22. That's at least a difference between us. I have the Brexit file still.
