Padders
Season Review 2217/18 Poor season with 10 losses but managed to finish 2nd Another change of tactics and shape went the last 11 games unbeaten. Lets see how that works in the PL One very good looking player from Youth intake - Robbie Beecroft Only problem is he won't sign a full contract as he is wanted by 13 other clubs! Hope I can keep him in time for the start of the new season.

libbyshuss
Season 2038/39 Superliga Finish: 8th Season Summary In many ways, a huge season for us. I felt fairly confident for the first time in the Superliga as there were 5 sides that I knew we could beat, as we had beaten them before. We just had to stay ahead of themn. We made a good start, with two home victories in our first 4 games but that was followed by a run of 8 defeats in 9 games, including a 6-1 shallacking at home by AGF, that left us only two points off the relegation places. A run of 4 victories on the bounce lifted us into the top 6 briefly but a run of 6 without a win pushed us back into the relegation phase I knew 2 wins from those last 10 games in the relegation phase would do it. The first match was a massive win against Vejle, and although we were winless for the next 3, we finished with 5 wins from the last 6 to comfortably stay up But the most exciting thing of the seasn? This:- Players Henrik Kolding 33F - struggled for most of the season with inconsistency. A 9 match goalless run was followed by 8 goals in his last 5 games. Needs to step up for next season Poul Wael 38A - last seasons number 1 youth pull took his chance in the first team and really impressed. Could be a real talent Youth Lots of green in the preview, which was nice, although i wan't hugely excited by the promise of lots of full backs The intake was ok, can't really complain at this stage with 3 or 4 4 star prospects Rene Anderson 39A was probably the pick of the bunch but it's hard to get excited about a striker with such low fisnishing, composure, anticipation and work rate. He'll really need to work on those to make it Finances and Improvements A brilliant year. Finally a future sale clause paid off! our first one! Max Pederson 33A was only 17 and had only played 6 games for us when he ws sold by the board. Luckily I'd nrgotiated a 50% sell on clause, so when Midjtylland sold him for 8.25m, 4.1m of it came our way. He's also the first full international to come through our ranks, which is nice I immediately used the money to finance club improvements across the board, meaning we now have the equal of anyone in the league for youth recruitment. We'll see how that pans out! Next season is all about consolidation and seeing if we can sneak into that top 6
thomas_e
A massive loss for us! Tobias Eisenhuth, our best player by far, leaving on a free in 6 months. But we can't argue with the fact that we cannot compete when Bayern Munchen is in for one of our players, how could he possibly say no to that. I could have sold him last summer, but I chose to rather have him on the field for one more year as he is so important for our team and system. Our back-up players for Eisenhuth are nowhere close, so I think we will go for youth and give Gunter Hollwitz the chance to develop.

thomas_e
Great fun that we are both playing with Cottbis @JLAB A bit suprised that you sold Niklas Geisler, he has been really good for me! Have you been able to sign Eisenhuth to a long term contract? I lost him to Bayern on bosman in the third season.
JLAB
I had Geisler kicking up a fuss about wanting to leave and the rest of the team kicked up a fuss too, so I found that I had little choice but to sell him if I wanted to keep the team on my side. I haven't looked at a new contract for Eisenhuth yet, but seeing that you lost him I'm a little concerned now. That being said, I'm going to make sure that the players who have a year and a half left on their contracts I start talking to, just to ensure that we don't fall into that trap. I've also been making sure to sneak little clauses into some of the contracts of the players, like optional extension clauses and promotion extension clauses too, so if we get promoted, the contract gets extended automatically and if we wanted to, we could just add extra years to the contracts too. @thomas_e Didn't stop me from losing players on bosman deals, I lost 4 of them during the summer on a free, including Jeremy Postelt and another young prospect Ben Brosius, the latter of who just signed a professional deal and refused to sign a new one due to "only just signing a new deal", while Postelt left us for the Netherlands. thomas_e
@JLAB, I too include the extension clauses in contracts, they are golden! Only 5 minutes ago I activated the clause in Staweski's contract. Yeah, if I was you I would get Eisenhuth signed as soon as possible. He refused a renewal with me even when he had 18 months left on his contract!

Fastbasher
2021 Nassjo FF season review - Swedish Second Division North Gotaland The League We started well, then had a poor run of results that dragged us into the relegation battle. It was tight for a while, but we pulled through with a win on the final day that we didn't actually need and survived. We must be a border team, as we've been moved to the West Gotaland league for 2022. The Players August Sander was my player of the season and joint top scorer with 10 goals. Alexander Goransson YP21a was the best of a poor youth intake. Transfers Edited August 29, 2020 by Fastbasher
OlivierL
Brave calling ! Caledonian Braves - Season 2022-2023 (Season 3) review - Scottish League two Pre-season | Fixtures 1 | Fixtures 2 | Season review In the winter break we already had as many points as the previous seasons ( 38). A last weak round made us climb down in the table. We were top of the league after the winterbreak . The goal was to reach the playoffs after four seasons, we are one year ahead of schedule.Playoffs semi-final against Montrose in two legs. Won two and lost two against Montrose this season: First game that i played myself(not instant result) and five minutes after I put Amewou on the pitch he scored an important goal. Final against the nr 9 from league one - Edinburgh City ! A big deserved first leg win ! What is happening ?? We are going up ! We really found our form in the playoffs, we are two years ahead of schedule, great! Three years with the same basicelf has paid off. Jean-Guy Lucas putting the trophy up ! Squad| Best eleven| Transfers | Staff | Finances I was able to extend All star players and benchwarmers for one or more years (with options ) . Some youth players were playing more and more and hopefully I can extend this next year. Our weak spot stays.. Right wingback. Guthrie was again our best midfielder and at the back Flamant remains the best DC option. Player of the season Kelly, Who else ? third time in a row. He is staying for three more years ! Young player of the season Amewou 21B isn't the best performer(but scored in the playoffs) , he is the most used u20 player this season. Remains a promising pressing forward. Youth updates Class 20 : nothing to report Class 21 : Amewou 21B was the best player (see above) of his class. Class 22 : Ajroudi 22B played a few games and could be our future WBL. Youth intake - Class 2023 Youth intake preview A good GK , a good DC and a good MC is what we are promised. Would be great but we also need a WBR .Class 2023 Signed 12 (all the positive personalties and five good players with 'high' pa). The promised good GK was there , one of the best youth intake GK's i received on this FM. Below the best three : Youssouf 23A looks good and could be retrained as DCL . I gave him two app's in the final league games of the season. His personality is bad. Pineau 23B could become a usefull striker but not ready yet. Bultel 23E .. yes u read that correct, E ! Our hoyd isn't rating him high concerning PA but he looks amazing and will be my first team goalkeeper next season. Improvements After receiving a lot of money for finishing 3th we were able to extend two important things one more time. Next season After this unexpected promotion, we are several years ahead of schedule. Surviving next years seems to me to be the realistic ambition and trying to get better talents by upgrading the facilities. especially our youth facilities need to be upgraded. XaW
Witton Albion Season 2027/28 (Season 8) Review - Vanarama National League - England League | Squad | Transfers | Finances Now we are a bit more acclimated to this level, we could push a bit more and it seems we are more capable. Quite a few of the youngsters we have had for a while are becoming too poor now, so the average age will decrease the next season, I think. We stayed around the playoff spots for the most of this season and in the end we just managed to sneak inside. In the first round of the playoff we beat Dulwich Hamlet before we lost to Stevenage after extra time. As for Mark Thompson 23a, he is first choice for Sheffield United who are fighting for promotion to the Premier League. He also scored a fair bit. The more interesting thing is that he is now worth over £2m and is wanted by a few PL clubs. I can only hope they sell him for massive money! In the FA Cup we beat Hereford, Stockport County and Morecambe before losing to Birmingham in the 3rd round. In the FA Trophy we beat Ashton United, Bath City, Nuneaton and FC United before losing to Stevenage in the semi final. Notable Players Sean Steadman 25a - A really amazing season from our top scorer. Almost a goal per game in the league is insane.Padraig Browne 22f - He had a really good season, but he is leaving us this summer. He refused to sign a new contract and I were also unable to get anyone to pay anything for him. Sad to see him go.Callum Bates 22g - Another good season in the heart of our defence. Youth intake Youth intake - A pretty good intake, although we have enough central midfielders, so I might need to retrain someone. Chris Stewart 28a - I'm thinking about making him into a winger. He lacks the pace, but has pretty much else.Ross Neil 28b - Finally, a decent striker! 2nd choice striker from the get go.Robert Johnson 28c - I think he is more a left back than a central midfielder and I don't have many good ones there.

_JHTB_
CD Mensajero 2023/2024 Segunda Division B 3rd Fixtures (1) -- Fixtures (2) -- Stats -- Awards -- Season Review -- Transfer -- Overall Best XI -- Key Player -- Hot Prospect -- Squad -- Finances League: This was the first season I kept the same formation (with a couple tweaks) hopeful that I could have an ok season. A 3-0 loss to start the season lowered my expectations so what followed was incredibly surprising. We showed really good form and aside from another 3-0 defeat we didn’t really look bad value for the form. Our run of form included us going 10 games without conceding though that did come to an abrupt end with a 4-1 loss to Sevilla Atletico but we were without first choice goalkeeper for that game. The loss did cause us to drop off a little coupled with the fixtures at the time being our toughest run of games. The league throughout the season did seem to be a case of any 4 teams from 5 would get the playoffs and we managed to secure ourselves as one of the 4 with our victory on the last day. Our playoff adventure was short lived though as we went out at the first round. Cup: We got a lower league side in the first round of the Copa del Rey which we comfortably dispatched before holding fellow Canary Islands side Las Palmas to a 0-0 draw in the next round with us progressing on penalties. We lost in the 3rd round to La Liga mainstays Espanol following a couple late goals. Squad: We did have a few more youth players start making regular substitute appearances but Cristo Navarro 1a was the only player to cement himself as first choice. He was close to doing so last season but the right back continued his development and forced his way into the side. Club Infrastructure: No change in this side of the club as we continue to lose money with board cash injections preventing the finances being worse than they are. No coaching courses nor an increase in number of coaches were managed this season either. Players of the year Omar Fleitas: Fleitas continues to be our best performer another 7 assists in the league and a goal and his best average rating for us of 7.41, though it does help when the team was better on the whole. Ale: One of the other real players still as a regular starter Ale had a prolific season for us on the left wing scoring 14 goals and contributing 8 assists. Adolfo Delgado 1d: Another player who stepped up a level this season with 3 goals and 3 assists from defensive midfield. Young Player of the year Adolfo Delgado 1d: Was obviously going to win this again having been 3rd in the main award. Youth Intake A promising centre back and centre mid was what the intake preview suggested for this seasons intake and we got neither. My new HOYD didn’t paint himself in glory here so he may find himself without a job after just one season. Victor Barrera 4a: He’s come through showing as a right winger but he’s getting retrained as a right back as his attributes best suit that. Miguel 4c: A goalkeeper, he doesn’t look fantastic and will likely never be good enough to be first choice but I wanted to write about another player from this intake and he’s the most likely to be any sort of option for us. Overview/Looking Ahead I’m a little disappointed to have lost at the first playoff stage but I’m surprised that we managed to get as high up the league in the first place. We did also have our first outbound transfer as one of our aging players left on a free – he was past his best so I was happy to let him go. Yet again all our key players are contracted for at least next season but I’m unsure we’ll do as well. I’d be happy with a solid midtable finish next time out and hopefully an actual decent youth intake. An issue we will have going forward is that Fleitas will be decline as he’s getting to that age and I don’t see any of our current prospects being the players to replace him. The story so far Youth Record Holders

libbyshuss
Season 2939/40 Superliga Finish 11th Season Summary An absolute disaster of a season full of injuries and inconsistency. We started at home again Kopenhagn and lost 6-2 but rallied with two good wins. This set the course for most of the season - every time we looked like being dragged into the relegation places we'd come up with a good result. A bad run of 6 games without a win in November culminated in this result: which left us 2 points off the relegation places and me fearing the worst but we responded with two wins in the next two games to pull ourselves clear. When the relegation phase arrived we weere second, a healthy few points away from the bottom. Two wins in the first 4 put us on 32 points, which surely meant we were safe with 6 games to play. 25 points usually is enough to keep you up. 3 defeats and a drw later and the table looked like this:- No poblem, our last two games were at home against OB and AAB. A draw against either should see us safe. We lost both and the table ended up like this 5 defeats from our last 6 and we were relegated with 33 points. Other than the first and last game we were never in a relegation spot. A sickening way to end the season that had started with such optimism. Youth Our first youth intake from the newly, expensive, exceptional youth recruitment! Lots of greens in the preview which had me excited But the final intake left me a little undwerwhelmed,, some 4 star prosepcts but none really stood out as future frst teamers with disapointing personalities, positions and attriubtes. We'll see, you never know. Finances and Improvements This is where we are in trouble,. We now have the club facilities of a Superliga team and we need the Superliga money to maintain them. Relegation will cost us dear and I might have to clear out a couple of first teamers to make money. Poul Wael is wanted by all the top clubs in europe, he might be first on the list. Next season? promotion is an absolute bare minimum or we are screwed. And maybe I will be too. edit: and there he goes, our best prospect he had a 2.6m relegation release clause so that's a good deal for him. Hopefully that 50% will pay off in a few seasons time. JaytheGreat
AD Os Limianos Season 20/21 Update Portuguese Championship: Currently we are 5th in the league, we've done pretty well against most teams but against the top teams in division we have struggled pretty bad. Our biggest problem is goal scoring, our strikers go on big goal droughts, so much so that both of our wingers are the leading goal scorers with 4 goals a piece through 18 games. Another problem is that we don't have much depth besides 1 back up CM and 1 back up full back, April can't come soon enough. Portuguese Cup: We made it to the 2nd round meeting the board expectation, before we got knocked out by Mafra who are in the league above us. Fiances are not looking great as we are losing a decent chunk of money every month. The squad is a little shallow, but it could be worse. Califo Balde and Renato Reis have been huge for the team providing most of the team's offense. Really hoping April brings a few decent depth players though, speaking of which......... A possible golden generation is huge for this challenge even though I'm not sure how talented the players coming through will be. Happy to get a potentially great winger, and a GK for depth, I would have liked for a good potential ST or CB as well. Either way I'm excited to see what this class produces. On a non youth update we were able to grab our 1st coaching badge, so that's pretty awesome. Edited August 30, 2020 by JaytheGreat

XaW
Witton Albion Season 2028/28 (Season 9) Review - Vanarama National League - England League | Squad | Transfers | Finances Oh, this was a really fun season! We early on established ourselves as one of the dominating sides in the league, and even though we lost some matches, we were part of the battle for the top spots throughout the season. Unsurprisingly, we finished well inside the playoff zone, but Dulwich Hamlet clinched the title ahead of Solihull Moors and ourselves. So into the playoffs for us. In the semi final we struggled against Stockport County, and only beat them after a nerve wrecking penalty shootout! In the final, we had an easier time against Solihull Moors as we controlled the game, and even a late red card didn't change the game much. So we are going into the Football League! And the board have decided we are going professional in the summer, and they have also accepted my request for an improved youth category! Things are looking really good for us now. Edit: Oh, and we are building a new stadium! (And scrapping the youth improvement... ) Mark Thompson 23a had a decent season for Sheffield United as they barely stayed up in the Premier League. However, he is now worth £27.5m and is wanted by Man City! This could be a real payday for us! In the FA Cup we beat Brackley Town and Salisbury before losing to AFC Wimbledon in the 2nd round. In the FA Trophy we beat Stourbridge, Welling United, Herefor, Sutton United and Exeter City to reach the final. Here we crushed Boston United from the tier below to claim our 2nd title in this tournament. Notable Players Sean Steadman 25a - Still top scorer and one of our best players, but had a really long dryspell for us this season that almost made me bench him.Isaac Babalola 23b - Bounced back with a much better season this time around. Both scored and assisted quite a lot.Jonathon Knowles 26a - The shield ahead of our defence and is also a quite decent pivot player. Youth intake Youth intake - A decent youth intake with some promising players David Byrne 29a - Great personality and some decent attributes.Alan Giles 29b - A well-rounded attacking midfielder, but I'm thinking about making him into a striker since we have so few decent ones.Greg Ballard 29c - I need a good DM to fill in for Jonathon Knowles 26a now and then. I don't think Greg is the long term solution, but he makes for a decent backup for now. Edited August 30, 2020 by XaW
Winski
Well, this must be one of my most stupid things I've done in FM. Ever. Firstly, we had a good first season in League One. After a very, very tough start we picked up the winning mood again. We managed to finish 8th, 16 points ahead of number 9 Stranraer. But then I asked the board to upgrade our Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitement, as I do as often as I can. But the board was unwilling to upgrade, so I said "If you don't grant this request, I'm not certain that I'll be able to carry on myt job". But it was only just to see if they then would accept the upgrade. But they wouldn't. But then I clicked too fast, as I always do in meetings with the board, press conferences or interviews. In stead of "I'd really rather not leave the club", I clicked on "I'll tender my resignation immediately". Holy sh*t. I saved the game a couple of matches ago, so I can't reload and go into that meeting again. It's over. This must be one of the most stupid things I've done in FM. So stupid. I think my B team built a 105 capacity stadium - so effectively just a pitch. It's got a capacity of 491, my stadium only holds a thousand

Padders
New tactic and going great guns Sitting top and only lose 3 games out of 30 and as posted above nearly equal club record unbeaten run of 18 games Since then, disgustingly, lost 9 out of last 16!!! libbyshuss
Season 2040/41 NordicBet Liga Finish 2nd Season Summary A change of tactics to 433 (after losing Wael left us with no natural left winger) didn't seem to make much difference. An opening day draw against Kejle was followed by 10 straight victories, only stopped by the return game against Veje who beat us. That made 11 straight for them and we were both miles ahead of the rest. To be honest, the rest of the season was a procession for us both with only us slipping up occassionally. We came second with 76 points which any normal season would have made us champions Players Jose Ferreira 35E - Fantastically named Icelandic midfielder, he's been in and around the first team for a few seasons now but really staked his claim as number 1 this season. 9 assists and 8 goals in 34 games from a DLP is no mean feat. His agent is playing silly buggers over a new contract though. Rene Anderson 39A - Playing with 3 up front gave hima chance in the first team and he did really well. 16 goals in his first season and still only 19, he looks a real talent Youth Some nicee green lines on the preview, albeot no golden generation but again the final intake left me a little underwhelmed. 2 5 star, but for an AM which i'm not using atm and a full back, of which I have millions You never know though - some of my best pulls have turned out to be the E, F, G, H players Finances and Imporvements As I suspected, relegation meant a huge hit on our finances. We are currently 4m in the red so no improvements for a while. If we can consolidate ourselves in the superliga then we should be good in a season or two time to stop being a yo-yo side!
Padders
Season Review 2219/20 Some how managed to turn the form around and win the play offs. Slept on what I wanted to do with the play off games. Lost the first Semi Final but won well both games after that. Had a big turn around of players playing in different positions and it worked

libbyshuss
well, my money troubles are over for another season or so not a bad deal for an 18 year old full back. I had no chance really. Silkeborg KFUM or Bayern Munich?
Swindon69
EA BragancaFairly tough season - secured my survival with two games to go as I was 6 points clear of the last relegation slot and had a better head to head record. Youth prospects weren't fantastic I think the issue is I have quite a young squad so the form fluctuates massively.
