Popular Post libbyshuss
2031/32 - Season 11 Vanarama National League 17th Season Summary In which we lost half our team and pulled off the great escape! League - First game of the season, home against Carlisle, we were fantastic. ran out 5-1 winners and it could have been more. I figured this National League lark was easy! We didn't win for the next 8 games and found ourselves in the relegation spots. We stayed there all through christmas - we'd pick up the odd win here and there but never enough to get us out. January was a nightmare. Championship clubs came sniffing for my players, made derisory offers and unsettled everyone. Morale plummetted, half the team wanted to leave, the other half wanted them to leave, results went through the floor. In the end I lost my best 3 players and resigned myself to relegation. By the end of February we were 10 points adrift of safety with only 11 games left to play. Then came March and we scraped a win. And then we scraped another win. Then we won comfortably, drew away at 3rd place Northampton and then scraped another win. Suddenly we were out of the relegation spots, 2 points ahead of Boston who we played at home next. We won 6-0! Those last 11 games we returned a record of W7 D1 L3, it was brilliant! FA Cup - weirdly, even though our league form went through the floor our cup form was good. The FA Cup second round drew us against 3rd place Northampton at home. We played well to get a 1-1 draw, then went to their place and won on penalties. The thrid round didn't give us the money -spinning tie I was hoping for, instead sending us away to Swansea. They won 3-1 and only got 8k spectators so the windfall wasn't that great. From October to February we played 21 games where the only wins were in the cup. Players August deadline, Hull came in for Ifan Lewis 28B. They offered 15k. I asked for 500k after 10 games and 50% future sales. They kept coming back, I stuck to my guns. Eventually they offered it! I had Wayne Farrington 30A ready to step into his shoes so I took a calculated risk and sanctioned the sale of Lewis. I almost immediately regretted it. I definitely regretted it by end of January deadline. Farrington was brilliant, just turned 18, and suddenly in huge demand from Championship clubs. Twice the board accepted bids for him, twice I talked them out of it. On deadline day, Cardiff offered 450k, no add ons, and the board accepted it and told me tough, it was going through. Then They sold Frank Piper 29A from under me for a paltry 200k, easily my best midfielder. So I went into the second half of the season without my best three players.... Max Ryan - Now 34, started season as thrid choice behind Lewis and Farrington and was suddenly first choice again. I lobbed him in and he repaid me with 17 goals in those last 16 games. WHat a legend Luke Heale 28A - 20 year old keeper, I had to beat people off with a poopy stick in January, managed to keep him and he put in some amazing displays to help keep us up The team that saved us:- Youth I do like having facilities way too good for my level! The preview this year was enigmatic, but promised a golden generation Having sold Lewis and Farrington, the only natural striker in the squad is now Max Ryan. Lots of wingers and full backs aren't going to solve that problem. The intake was brilliant, but striker-less! Five four star potential at this stage is crazy! There's even a possibility of re-training Aaron Gallagher as a natural striker. He's a natural middie atm, but accomplished as a striker so it could be easily done. Attributes are much better suited to a MC though, so I dunno..... Finances and Upgrades Not only did I make money from my sales, but Jacob Pennell was sold by Barnet to Tranmere for 450k, half of which went to me. They also have varous little add ons, so I kept getting little bonus payemtns through the season. It meant at one point I had over a milliion in the bank, and a sanctioned transfer budget of a million. Which, for a National League side, is crazy money. Instead, I bugged the board and they gave me:- So, in retrospect, having pulled off the great escape and made all those improvements, I'm very happy with those sales! I can't wait for next seasons youth intake as well! Career

Try to find out a formation and roles that fit best and see if I can make a reasonable tactic out of it. If I can't then I start the retraining of the players to fit the closest sound tactic I can make. Then I chop and change whenever a youth player starts to enter the team. So I usually have two versions of the same thing, to switch around at times and based on who is fit. Then I have the experimental tactic that I use every once in a while, especially for matches that doesn't matter towards the end of the season. That changes a lot over time, while the two main ones are slowly evolving into what I want based on how well things work. Not a very good and exciting answer, but it is what I usually do.

Not too flexible though, you can't just play every player at the favourite position or you end up with a mess, but I have found I'm way more flexible in this challenge than I usually am. It doesn't always work and I'd be much happier with a simple plug and play but this challenge keeps forcing you to innovate/experiment

Super League 2 - Championship Group Games Like last season We finished the season on a 5th place, but this time with 7 points more We are starting to get problems. One decent bid for one of our players and we might lose some... Brilliant season from Ektoras Abeliotis. In January I rejected a 650k bid from PAOK and mister chairmann didnt accept it over my head. Ektoras was mad at first, but I could talk him out of it. Social group ftw We got him until 2026, so he will be here next season (hopefully). But we need to get promoted or I need to sell him next summer. Also Vandenbulcke developed pretty nice and is now our defense leader. UnkleTass
ACN Siena 1904 Season 2042/43 Review Highest ever finish (6th) and record points haul and a season in Europe again to look forward to next year, but why does it feel so glum? Easy we were in the top 3 and with the leading pack for from Matchweek 4 - Matchweek 24 before the wheels started to fall off. Sad times. What spurred us into contention from perennial European contention was a return to form for the star man Alessandro Mari 37D* best prospect we've had thus far by a country mile, however he has a strike partner now in Giacomo Dianda 40B who will give him a run for that title after his 19 G/A contribution in 32 games at 18 in his debut season in the first team. Mari should have won the golden boot which would have made up for us falling out of the title race, but he got a season ending injury start of May so missed the running and was pipped to the golden boot by a single goal. All in all I will celebrate a great year, but this has just lit the fire in me. Big success is coming soon. Training facilities have been downgraded and the board refused to upgrade straight away meaning we might go a year before we are back to state of the art but we will push for that at the next possible opportunity Interesting intake this year 2 of 3 best talents both play the same position so only one will be able to really excel you would think, but also another handy CB coming through to add to the depth. With our longest running regen Daniele Ripa 25A* coming to the tail end at 34 our new 16 year old will come in very handy very soon you'd imagine 5 job offers this year one from Lazio and the other 4 international with it being another tournament year Challenge: Squad League Table Transfers Key Players: Alessandro Mari 37D* Fabio Longo 37D Matteo Giaccherini 38B* Youth Intake: Preview Actual Manager: Profile Attributes Jobs: Lazio International #1 International #2 Extra: Finances Moments Serie A Overachievers Mari Injury Run In Facilities Downgrade

the_hdk
Polonia Warsaw - Season 4 League League Stats / Transfers / Best 11 A decent season. We botched it at the end, losing 5 our of last 7 games. To be fair they were against the strongest teams. (among them Lechia, Lech, Legia & Wisla). Legia had a horrible seaosn start, losing 5 in first 10 games. But they came back and won the cup. We really could have been the champion this year but the pressure was too much I guess. And TBH we did not have the quality to beat the big boys. Lechia Gdansk btw won their first championship!. Pretty similair season to last year. Our 3 strikers had a great run. WYSZKOWSKI took again the TopScorer and Best Player award, altough he only score 21 this year. Only two changes in 1st 11 compared to last year. BOGUSKI who was our 2nd CB was moved to the midfield and in his place youngster KOLODZIEJ came in and played a very decent season. Our adventure in Europe was short. We first had to go to Sweden to play Djurgarden. A team that on paper much better than us, but we beat them. 2-1 at home and a tie away 4-4. Sadly in the next round against a somewhat similair team Thun from Switzerland we lost. 3-4 away and a tie at home 1-1. The cup was horrible, we lost in the first round to Sandecja. WYSZKOWSKI nealry left btw. On last day of the transfer market (2nd of Sept) we got an offer from Lecce that matched his min fee. (2,1mln). But thankfully he declined. I do hope we will be able to sell him at some point for that kind of money as I do expect some youngsters to be knocking on the door of first 11. And for those who follow and read all, yes that is OLCZAK in a new role back at the club! Our former HOYD is back as DoF. ZEWLAKOW decided to try his luck in Belgium and got signed as DoF for Zulte Waregem. Season Stats Youth Prediced Intake Another year another golden generation. MILEWSKI and PRZYGODA look nice. PRZYGODA actually looks like his abilitty is already on par with 2 of our starting midfielders! and yeah finally some talent in the midfield! Our best talent is a winger, MILEWSKI. He will be re-trained to an striker. With that acceleration and pace he will be awesome! i need to up his dribbling and finishing though. Again no foreign intake Job Offers: I'm starting to become popular. 5 job offers this season. One from Sevilla! That is a pretty big club for a Manager in Poland. dkouv
Cultural Durango – Season 7 (2027/28) La Liga 2 After two promotions in a row I was a bit fearful about our survival chances, but we did brilliantly. We spent much of the first half a year in playoff spots, dropped down the table after Christmas and then had a late surge which put us into playoff contention again, but 2 wins from the last 10 games ensured we finished just outside the playoff spots in 8th. Players: The players keep improving and we now have four La Liga 2 standard players, one of whom is our star keeper Goikoetxea who I rated as player of the season again. Diomande 02a is no longer one of our best players but continues to be a key performer, finishing with 22 goals, 3rd highest in the division. Most of the squad are still 3rd/4th division standard, but despite the late-season slump in form there should be enough there to keep us above water next season, and I'll be trying to give the promising youngsters more game time to get them to develop. Youth watch: Right back Gorka Garai 04b has developed nicely, which means that the number of decent defenders in our squad has doubled from 1 to 2 )) Facilities / Finances: Finally, we’re making some money. The £5m TV deal meant that we could improve facilities, and make several upgrades to our coaching and recruitment. It also turned out that our “excellent” youth coaching rating from earlier was a bug, and it was actually something like average; so now after a few upgrades we’re finally up to excellent now )) Youth intake: The preview had me excited and the intake didn’t disappoint; the best one to date I think, with two highly-rated prospects in defence, so a chance to double our number of decent defenders again )) Center back Mikel Franco 07c will already be pushing for a starting place next season. The only annoying thing is that La Liga 2 seems to have a £1.4k p/w minimum wage requirement which meant that offering the youths contracts quickly brought me above my wage budget, so I’ll probably have to limit the number of players I sign up from now on. Intake 03 review I wasn’t too excited about this one and I was kind-of right, with the top two prospects proving complete duds, with bad personality halting Imanol Angulo 03a’s progress and lack of PA halting that of Sergio Arconada 03b. But the third rated prospect Miguell Llorente 03c actually turned out to be rather good, and untagged Pedro Moreno has played 130 games at centre back for us - largely due to lack of viable alternatives, but still... So in the end this intake did plug some important holes in defence and up front, not too shabby. toshimitzou1
Major improvements made this season. Once the intake from last year started gelling, results really picked up. Before February we were in a relegation dogfight but wow, what a turnaround. Based on my own vision of how to develop the squad, I chose to utilise an Advanced Playmaker off centre; a youth player in the LCM spot who can clearly hack it at this level: With the WTM playing on the Right Wing, these two support roles ended up creating acres of space for an onrushing Mezzala and an attacking Winger. The Pressing Forward thrives, harassing defenders and feeding off of the space created by the WTM and exploited by the creative duo of the Mezzala and AP. The two FB's are both instructed to get further forwards, as a means of offering extra width in later phases of possession. There is however one major problem: FINANCES. It looks like I am going to have to sell at least three high potential Youth players to make up a deficit otherwise the sack is looming next year: I have a young centre back who could potentially clear the debt in one sale : I feel pretty confident I could raise at least 500k from this one player and in the current crop of youth players, I have two candidates who could fill his spot without a a dramatic drop in quality. Wish me luck!!! Edited July 28, 2021 by toshimitzou1
Zeldster
Shaoxing Keqiao Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances Got off to a poor start only winning 1 game in 6 whilst I was trying different tactics. Got settled on a 4-4-2-DM, worked well unless a team was utilizing a DM which overcrowded my 2 strikers. Pretty happy with a 4th placed finish from a media prediction of 13th. That poor start could of been the difference in promotion. Youth Intake Got a pretty good first youth intake with 3 players being able to fit straight into my squad, sadly they couldn't help for the last few games of the season without being registered in a window. Liu Xuefeng a promising CAM with low determination, not currently utilizing a CAM so a tactic tweak is needed. Huang Tingfeng will be my 3rd choice striker, so will be rotated about. Hu Xixing 2nd choice right back.

XaW
Folkestone Invicta - Season 2021/22 (Season 1) Review - Vanarama National League South (6th tier) Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances So I'm back in the UK, and back to Folkestone. For those who don't know, Folkestone is a small town just west of Dover, on the south-eastern corner of England. So while it's not a big city, it's quite in the middle of things, and only a 2 hour drive from central London. The club has never been higher than the 7th tier before the promotion last season just before i took over. So it's quite a small club in that regard, and while it doesn't have a grand history, I chose to focus on it's grand future instead. When I took over the club it had a grand total of 15 players, of which, it had 3 goalkeepers... So realistically, I had 2 substitutes for injuries, before I had to got to goalkeepers. For the most part it went fine, but I had a few matches of a goalkeeper as a winger in order to actually field a team. As to the season itself. Things started really great as we scored after 19 seconds of the first match, and we ended up beating Hemel Hempstead away. As it turns out, they finished rock bottom of the league, so the achievement was not as big as I first thought. Still, we continued to pick up wins here and there, mostly thanks to our top scorer David Smith. He often took it upon himself to jet past a defender and slot the ball calmly into the bottom corner of the net. Our troubles came as soon as we had some suspensions or injuries, and we lost quite a few matches when I had to start with goalkeepers in outfield positions. Even so, we were quite close to a playoff spot at times, but one win in the final five matches, slid us a bit down and we finished in 14th place. A position I'd taken if I were offered it before the season. At least next season I will have a full bench at all times, and avoid playing goalkeepers in strange positions! In the FA Cup we went on a bit of a run as we beat Dorchester Town, Dorking, Dover, and Salford (League Two!) before we finally succumbed to AFC Wimbledon in the 2nd round. A very good run, and it also brought in some cash. In the FA Trophy it didn't go as well as we lost to Weston-super-Mare in the 2nd round after a replay. Off the pitch things went well as I managed to get a National C licence completed, as well as improvements to the club. Junior coaching went from Fairly Basic to Average, and Youth recruitment went from Limited to Basic. Youth Any intake was welcome, but I am a bit under-whelmed by this. I had hoped for a bit better, due to the poor crop of players I started with. The problem with Callum Moody 22h as the best prospect is that goalkeeper is the position I have one of the best players at the club. I'm still happy to get him in though. U18 team: They didn't play in any league system. In the FA Youth Cup they lost to Oxford City on pens in the 1st qualifying round. Statistics: Spoiler A nice variety of nations, and we have 3 continents already. Trophy cabinet: None
Brentmeister
I'm gonna put my Brazil save on hold, it's going a bit stale for me even though I just won the Copa Sudamericna! I have a real urge to give England a try and seeing as a few of you have recently started there too, i'm getting involved. Looking for a south west team, Truro, Tiverton, Taunton...massive untapped potential there. I'll be back with updates soon.

Folkestone is good too, decent sized population in Kent and with the exception of Gillingham not many professional teams. Might even get a few French lads in.

Popular Post libbyshuss
2032/33 - Season 12 National League Season Summary A good season that almost saw us sneak into the play offs and consolidate our position in the national league. Quite happy with that, seeing as the team is a bit of a hotch potch side atm League - We carried on our good form from the end of last season into this. After 9 gmes we had won 7 and lost 2 and were sitting in first. I didn't expect us to stay there, and so it proved. Peterborough quickly overpowered us but we hung on in there and were in the play-offs for most of the season. Our form deserted us in the last few weeks though and we dropped out of contention, eventually missing out by 1 measly point. But I'd have taken that at the start of the season after the madness of last season FA Cup - So close to another 3rd round appearance, but a home defeat to Eastleigh in round 2 put paid to that. Players I stuck with the side that kept us up at the end of last season and it seemed to pay off. None of the youth players who came in to cover for injuries/suspensions impressed so the same XI played whenever possible. Come January transfer window though the vultures were out. The main candidate was my right back, Andy Carter 30B. He had 6 month to run on his contract and was refusing to sign a new one so I was resigned to losing him. I decided to play hardball, see what I could push clubs too. On deadline day itself I managed to get this from Championship side Ipswich:- Very happy with that being that he's probably have walked away for nothing in 6 months! The board then sold my by best midfielder but at least I was able to add on some possible future payments So the first XI by the end of the season looked like this. Really, I only like the keeper, left winger and right winger in this team! The rest I could easily swap in a heart beat if I could. Max Ryan - for most of the season he rolled back the years and was his old brilliant self. Then he went the final 16 games of the season without scoring, which kinda sealed his fate for me for next season. Still, 30 goals at his age after being called back from the rubbish heap wasn't too bad Luke Heale 28A - my genius keeper. Won several games on his own with ludircous displays. I managed to keep hold of him during January but I'll be surprised if he's here much longer. He's asking for silly wages on a new contract for one thing. He is totally worth it though! Youth Very excited for my first intake with my new and improved facilities! The preview was one of those odd ones where there is hardly any green text, loads of orange tellnig you what yu won't get, and yet it still promised a golden generation! Even better though, it promised me a new striker, which is exactly what I needed! So I was very excited to see this new striker come intake day. And, he was pretty good! Really nice CA, very nice PA and a really good personality to boot. Can't argue with that! Here he is, I have a feeling he'll start the season as first choice, despite being only 16:- I got a lot high hopes for this lad! Finances and Upgrades So those January sales meant I have £1m in the bank now. I'm gonna need it too, cos I conveinced the board to do this:- Spending almost 600k a year on the youth set up at this level of football is completely crazy! It also means I'll probably have to sell a player a year, or get some future payments in each year anyway. It shoudl pay off in the long run though..... hyrule_king
Season 1 Review Not the best of starts but the first youth Intake was Ok nothing more nothing less. Youth Intake Preview | Squad | Transfers | Youth Intake Review | Under 19's Squad Fernando Pinheiro 1b - 5*PA - AMC who could develop into a regular first teamer in a year or two. Rui Lamas 1a - Upcoming Full Back with some very nice Mental stats already. Agostinho Banjaqui - This youth player is going to need a nickname, can't be saying that name too often. He is looking a real gem and a player I am going to bring into the first team next season, 20 goals in his first youth season. HbG93
Lørenskog IF - Eliteserien - 2029Squad - Transfers - Finances 2029 Youth Intake It was no lie that the intake was full of centre-backs! Starting with Martin Garly 29A the top prospect who is definitely competitive right winger among our ranks, and same goes for defender Rene Marcelin 29B. William Bjella 28C is also quite decent but I do prefer Rene over him. After this it becomes a bit more if they actually are able to develop. I am more excited about the quality our intake has next year. That is if we survive the top division of course. Note I signed Fjørestrand 29D trough a youth contract, and Bodø/Glimt pretty much instantly got in and signed him for free. Joining the first team alongside at least Garly 29A and Marcelin 29B is right winger Søgård 26I who is quick off his mark. Most likely it will be either him or Garly 29A starting on the right wing. Wessel 27D will also join the ranks to bolster our striker options. Our first year in the top tier of Norway went just about good enough. The stat was rough however going 1-0-4 in the first five much due to meeting several of the well established sides. Luckily from there we started facing some of the lesser ones and started to trickle in some more points. A big call back to our survival this season is the month of July. We won 3 in a row before doing a very respectable 2-1 away loss to Norwegian giants Rosenborg. After this however it went downhill both in the league but also in the summer transfer window. Kildahl 27A at this point our best player heads to France as As Monaco became one of the leading bidders at €1M. Actually sadly the highest bid at €1.6M came from FC Porto, however they were late to the show. Shortly after Owain Jones 28A our best central midfielder jumped at the chance to leave us. Swedish side Hammarby IF paid us €1.2M. While losing these players drags down the ability in our squad we are starting to collect very good fees for them. I was also able to use part of this money for a youth facilities upgrade! After the sale of these players we would only win 4 more games which isn't great when it's out of 14 games. But it turned out to be enough for survival! However we desperately need our intake to bolster our team. Eliteserien 2029 Plakanis 25I is our top scorer hitting a rather shy 12 goals. The main man giving service was Henriksen 25E the left winger had a very good season considering the level step up. For the first time ever our goalkeeper his the highest rated player across the season. There is no doubt in my mind that our next season will be another battle to avoid relegation as we are weaker now than we were at the start of season. While I expect the youth intake to grant at bare minimum 1 player that can help out. I wouldn't be surprised if we see someone else leave during next year either. Youth Intake Preview 2030 While the preview doesn't give to much hints in where we would be bolstered outside players capable of being defensive midfielders. The promise that this could be a real golden generation gives me hope of getting 2-3 players that could challenge a starting position from the get go. We need all the help we can get. JAwtunes
FK Inter Bratislava (FM20) New Manager I am jumping back in for what will be my last save before FM22. This time I am taking on my first job in Slovakia, at one of the few clubs I have actually heard of. Inter Bratislava are a team I remember from the old CM days and I was a little surprised to see that they had slipped to the third division and played in a 600 capacity stadium. I have done some reading up on my new favorite club and it looks like they are playing at their training ground just outside Bratislava, with plans to move back to the city soon. I had such a fun time on my last save in Poland with Widzew Lodz, where my favorite ever newgen managed to help me to several league titles and eventually captained the side to a champions league title, that I decided to use him as my new manager. This is the reason I ended up in Slovakia, as its just over the border from Poland so not that far from my managers favorite club and home in Lodz. I am not looking to complete the challenge on this save but hoping to have some fun trying to fight Slovan Bratislava for top spot in the city/country. So here is Tomasz Cyran at the end of my Widzew save at the age of 32: ... and as a newly appointed manager in Slovakia (with his newgen face pack face): Spoiler I have a new laptop so have decided to add loads of leagues. GL all!

Winski
FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin Well, here we go again! Although I had lots of fun on Iceland with ÍR, I just wanted something else. So I put that save on hold. Maybe I'll continue later. My BFC Dynamo-save was a great save, I really liked playing in Germany. So I decided to go back to Germany, and also go for another club from Berlin. I had to reload many times, but there we are: FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin! A bit of history, thanks to Wikipedia: Quote Fußball-Club Viktoria 1889 Berlin Lichterfelde-Tempelhof e.V., commonly known as FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin or Viktoria Berlin, is a German association football club based in the locality of Lichterfelde of the borough of Steglitz-Zehlendorf in Berlin. The club was formed in 2013 from a merger of BFC Viktoria 1889 and Lichterfelder FC. The club has the largest football department in Germany with 1,600 active members. Viktoria 1889 Berlin was formed in a merger of BFC Viktoria 1889 and Lichterfelder FC in 2013. BFC Viktoria 1889 was one of the oldest football clubs in Germany. It was the dominant club in Berlin in the early 1900s and won the German championship in 1908 and 1911. Lichterfelder FC was a club which had gone through a number of name changes and mergers before. Lichterfelder FC had a women's team in the Frauen-Regionalliga by the time of the merger. Viktoria Berlin made its debut in the 2013-14 Regionalliga Nordost, courtesy of a victory for BFC Viktoria 1889 in 2012-13 NOFV-Oberliga. The club won the 2013-14 Berlin Cup and thereby qualified for the first round of the 2014–15 DFB-Pokal. The club was drawn against Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt. Viktoria Berlin lost 2–0 in front of 10,514 spectators at the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark. Viktoria Berlin has the largest football department in Germany. The club had 65 teams with 1,600 members as of 2016. The club qualified for the 3. Liga after a very successful 2020–21 season. The club led 2020-21 Regionalliga Nordost when the Northeastern German Football Association (NOFV) decided to end the season prematurely after eleven rounds played due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The team had won all eleven matches played during the short season. So in real life, they are promoted to 3. Liga as well! And before they merged with Lichterfelder FC in 2013 they won the German Championship two times, very long ago. Let's make them dominant again, and hopefully we can make them the biggest club in Berlin!

Popular Post XaW
Folkestone Invicta - Season 2022/23 (Season 2) Review - Vanarama National League South (6th tier) Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances This season went just about the as the first one, except now I had substitutes and could actually rotate a few players now and then. Some of the youngsters were regulars, and with more game time, they keep improving and becoming better and better. I'm still sticking with my customary 4-4-2 hoofball, and I believe I will for quite some years still. The major problem is that we concede a lot more goals than we should, and quite frankly some of them are stupid errors by the players. So I think the formation and tactic is sound, but I just need better players to compete. Looking at the stats, we have a xG conceded of 78.10, far too high, but still, we are a poor team. But the actual number of conceded goals ended on 94! So we make a lot of stupid mistakes in defence, and I hope we can improve this in the coming season. We finished in a nice 13th place, one spot higher, and one point more, than last season. In the FA Cup we again had a nice run, even with favourable draws, as we beat Horndean, Basingstoke Town, Maidenhead United, Gateshead, and Bromley before losing to Yeovil Town in the 3rd round. In the FA Trophy we beat Barnstaple before we lost to Aldershot Town in the 3rd round. We also had a takeover from a consortium this season and that allowed me to improve academy coaching from Fairly Basic to Average, and youth recruitment from Basic to Fairly Basic. Later on I also got another youth recruitment done to go from Fairly Basic to Adequate. In addition to that I also managed to get two more licences this season, first the National B, and recently the National A. So things are slowly starting to improve off the pitch as well. Youth The recent improvements are really helping out here. Lots of talent, but also more ability already. David Holland 23a is already one of the better central midfielders at the club, so I expect him to be a regular next season. U18 team: They didn't play in any league system. In the FA Youth Cup they beat Bracknell, Totton, and Hythe before losing to Ebbsfleet United in the 1st round. Statistics: Spoiler 3 more countries added in Scotland, Spain, and Australia. Trophy cabinet: None
