Interested in the outcome of this

I will do it over my current season (Normal Intensity) then compare to next season (Double), will post comparisons using the spreadsheet I have.

Just to note that I lost this player on a free transfer but season before he left he was on Double Intensity.

54 as a total stat Increase in one season is just ridiculous.:applause:

End of Season Review

Season 2024/25

East Kilbride

East Kilbride F.C. - Wikipedia

Season Summary

A season of triumph as, despite nearly blowing it, we won promotion to the third tier via the playoffs.

Season Details

League Table - We were top of the table for twenty one weeks, but a dreadful run of form towards the end of the season meant we were lucky to retain a playoff place.

League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We were annoyingly inconsistent.  We lost far too many games.

Promotion Playoffs - We recovered our form as we comfortably beat Edinburgh City over two legs, relegating them in the process, before meeting Stranraer in the final, whom we beat over two legs after playing our best football of the season in the first leg.

Scottish Cup - Another decent cup run as we made it to the fourth round before losing away to second tier Hamilton Academical.

Betfred Cup - A heavy defeat at home to Championship side Dundee in the fourth round ended our interest in the competition.

SPFL Trust Trophy - After finishing third in our group, we once again went out in the group stage.  We played much better than in recent years, however.

Pre Season Friendlies - Two wins and three defeats, who were all against big English sides, was a pleasing start to the season.

Squad - For some reason, a lot of the players are not developing.  We need more first team ready players.

Squad Dynamics - I am not sure how this could be any better.

Transfers In - None.

Transfers Out - A few departures on free transfers plus our first ever sale for a transfer fee, a sale my chairman took upon himself to confirm.

Youth Candidates - A good intake with plenty of depth, with striker Derek Crawford YP25A33 looking the pick of the bunch.

Finances - This is worrying.  We continue to lose money and we need a takeover to wipe out the debt.

Key Players

Andy Semple YP23D4 - He is quite simply the best player at the club.  How I managed to get him to sign a new deal is beyond me.

Lewis Kidd - Playing in central midfield, he is an automatic selection.

Jordan Hart - Another sensational campaign from our goalkeeper.

Kyle Hutton - The defensive midfielder is not getting any younger and I don't have a replacement.

Grant Rodger - Right back who had his best season to date.

Next Season

Survival by any means necessary.

End of Season Review

Season 2022/23

SC Preußen Münster

Preussen-Muenster | PlusCard

Season Summary

An extraordinary season where we were on the cusp of the Bundesliga.  It wasn't to be, though we played brilliantly for most of the campaign.

Season Details

League Table - A third place finish was way above any expectations.

League Fixtures 1 & 2 - Consistency was the key as we churned out results, especially at home.

Promotion Playoffs - So close.  We won the first leg, away from home no less, before capitulating in the return.

DFB Pokal - We made it hrough to the second round before losing at home to another second tier side, Werder Bremen.

Pre Season Friendlies - A good preseason where we lost just the once, at home to top flight Hamburg.

Squad - We are nowhere near strong enough for the league above, so developing the squad is the aim.

Squad Dynamics - As exceptional as ever.

Transfers In - None.

Transfers Out - None.

Youth Candidates - A solid group with striker Bartosz Włodarek YP23B18 looking like a potential star.

Finances - We have a lot of money as the cash from finishing so high in the league table came in.

Key Players

Okan Erdoğan - The Turk was once again a rock in the centre of defence.

Jannik Borgmann - Partnering Okan Erdoğan in the heart of defence, they have formed a formidable partnership.

Joshua Holtby - Arguably our most important player, playing in the anchor role in midfield.

Deniz-Fabian Bindemann - Another excellent season from the young striker.

Maximilian Schulze Niehues - The goalkeeper had a phenomenal season and won plenty of points on his own.

Next Season

I would happily take a mid table finish as we way overachieved this campaign.

Season #102  - 2123/24

Absolutely gutting season

Thought we had a chance

Sat 2nd at Christmas and 4th end of February

Then it came, the dreaded run, after losing to mid table side Huddersfield in the 5th round of the FA Cup

Won ONE of the last TEN games

Absolutely ridiculous, nothing changed, just good old Morale Manager 2021

Belgium

2025/26 - Season 5

Division 1B (second tier)

Season Summary

A nice boring season to get my young team up to speed.

League - I wasn't expecting too much, it's still a very young side we have. We started well enough with 3 wins and 2 draws in our first 6 games but then went through a spell where we could not buy a win. We didn't lose that many either though, drawing something like 7 and losing 4 out of 11. We reagined our form for the back end of the season ending with two wins that actually gave us a fourth placed finish, better than last year (when we were brilliant!)

26leaguetable.JPG.71aa5bd07f1bb4fa073e4ef655b4ac5b.JPG

Cup - 6th round, again the domestic cup curse on this challenge. I must have played at least 200 seasons, never got close to a domestic cup. it's really weird!

Players

So, my youth team is improving at such a rate that most of them got promoted to the first team this season. It meant a lack of experience and determination/work rate still so I was expecting a bit of inconsistency and so it proved.

None of them are division 1A level yet, but a couple apparently have the potential. Not sure what to do about Van den Broeck 22J. He is good, but 14 goals from 27 games isn't going to cut it for much longer. Do I promote Alessandra Coppini 24A yet? He's 17 now and pretty close in terms of ability, and did this in the reserve team

coppini24A.JPG.52742361464faccfde4dc9d554f4acf3.JPG

95 goals in 43 starts! He also made his full debut, scored, then followed it up in his second appearnace by playing like Bambi on ice. I might give him a few more chances and see what happens...

Youth

So probably my worst youth preview for a long time. Nothing of excitement to note, so I almost forgot about youth intake day when it's usually like christmas. So I was pleasantly surprised when they popped in my inbox two weeks early and looked actually pretty good!
26youthpreview.JPG.06e2823c072d47d0ff2637da62f6302d.JPG26youthintake.JPG.5829747cb635f2662129d2f2013d81f4.JPG

Finances and Upgrades

Annoyingly, recent technological advances meant our training facilities weren't as good as they once were and we had no money to improve them again. But, inexplicably, the board agreed to improve our youth intake again, despite us having no money.

26youthrecruite.JPG.bfcda0a4ebcf9003043f93b5724acdb8.JPG

We're still losing money hand over fist and relying on the board bailing us out.

the announcement of FM22 does give a knock in my current save. i'm in season 7 with RW Essen and had expected to play at least 9 to 10 more seasons. With FM22 coming out on 9 November, I will lose some potential seasons (and postponing is not an option).

Not good for my save!

I need to get into PL in next few seasons

Xerez – Season 9 (2029/30)

La Liga 2 My first season in La Liga 2 with Durango was an unqualified success, but this was nothing like it. We were bobbing around relegation places all season, and a terrible January saw us slide down to 20th and 3 points from safety. But then our form turned and, as it often goes, after 1 lucky win we suddenly won 4 on the trot and I thought we were safe. Of course, we then proceeded to lose 6 out of the next 7 games, sliding back towards relegation, but a win against fellow strugglers Atletico Madrid B on the penultimate day of the season secured our safety! I paid a high price for it though, getting our best defensive midfielder Yeray 02c to play through an injury, and he did his cruciate as a result - ouch.

spacer.png spacer.png spacer.png

It was a funny old season in retrospect, we lost lots of games we should have won, the teams around us kept picking up points, and we had some terrible runs of form - but somehow managed to survive. The players really are not improving so I don’t know how I’m going to cope next season, though I think some of last intake’s centre backs could be coming good which will help.

Players: I could not promote any youngsters as they were not good enough, and the seniors left a lot to be desired - but I’m enthusiastic about Nico Nunez 08a who has developed really well and should become a starter next season. Of the seniors, it was down to Sebas 01f to bail us out again - he’s not the highest rated player but for some reason seems to be the only one who can score goals consistently, chipping in with 14 this season.

spacer.png spacer.png

Youth intake [preview]: Well, that was rubbish. I was expecting a good intake (again spoiled by my Durango save) given that I finally managed to upgrade youth coaching and we were playing one division higher, but this looks as bad as any in the last few years, with only one player Juan Luis 09a having semi decent potential (3.5 star CA in my squad means a leading Segunda B player :z). I signed a few just to give them a chance, even though paying these lads the minimum £1.4k p/w wage is daylight robbery!

spacer.png spacer.png

Finances / Facilities: The board are stingy but after continued pestering and TV money coming in, we managed to schedule youth and training facility upgrades, and upgraded coaching and recruitment twice.

Transfers: nothing of note

A nice boring season to get my young team up to speed.

Sometimes these are a good tonic for a developing team. :)

Those reserve team figures for your young striker are sensational. What do the coach reports say about him? Inconsistent, etc.?

Pretty sure a 1million plus sale is around the corner.

With FM 22 around the corner and from what I have read in the previous posts, I am interested to hear,

'Who will be carrying on their existing saves before switching to the new FM?'.

For my part, I am will continue this playthrough until I have completed the challenge. What are everyone else's plans?

never seen figures like that from a reserve team player before. they're nuts. And yeah, coach reports he needs to work on his consistency. Be interesting to see how he develops

i'll keep going until I get fed up/bored.

I never start a new save until a couple of weeks after release anyway, once all the name fixes/skins and whatnot come out

i would love to say 'continue' but i'm sure i won't do it.. maybe i'll set up FM22 during the beta (skin, views etc, gameplay check) and continue my save but if the real thing is out.. i will start my youth only challenge on FM22 (or dafuge).

I reckon you're only 5 - 10 seasons away from completion. One month to attain legendary status. One thing I am excited about is taking on the challenge in a new nation on the nest version. Greece is proving to be a lot of fun and a real challenge. I'm thinking one of the lesser nations in South America next (possibly Peru). It should be really tough to build up to beat those Brazilians and Argentinians.

That would be a very big challenge, can't wait to see you doing that

I'm thinking about a dafuge or youth challenge in England (starting in november would give me enough time to do something) or my beloved Iceland...

As posted above, that one lose to 24th place Barnsley ruined the season

After that game we won ONE game in 14! Season over!

Hang in there, you will be promoted soon.

I think my Portuguese save is just going to be a yo-yo between 4th and 3rd. Just Don't have the strength in depth too push on in the 3rd tier.

   FC Amberg - Wikipedia

FC Amberg - Season 2028/29 (Season 8) Review - Regionalliga Bayern

Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances

Another strong season for us, and we were much more in the battle for the top spot this season around. Looking at the stats, we were 2nd in xPos, so with a bit more luck we could have won it. We had a bit of a rough patch about half way, so I scrapped the 4-4-2 I've used so far and switched into a bit more controlling 4-2-3-1. I have a better team now, so I think going for a more proactive strategy will turn out well for us. And it seems good, in the 15 matches we used it we won 9, drew 5, and only lost once. I think I will use that going forward, but keep the old 4-4-2 for games we are less likely to keep the ball. As for players, Florian Eckstein 24n has really become a key member of the team and is now used as the lone striker for us. As for Ierotheos Goulsouzidis 24h, who used to be the main striker, I've pulled him out left to cut inside and help out up front. Jochen Tambo 27c is the third of out front players, but he is used in a more traditional winger role and is more a creator.

In the Bayerische Pokal we beat Hauzenberg and Aystetten before losing to Schwabmünchen in the 3rd round.

Still not much happening off the field. Focusing on trying to remove the debt and make some money. Our parent club seems to have improved their facilities, since they have impoved, but strangely we've also gotten better youth coaching somehow. I haven't improved it, but I'll take it!

Youth

Aigaleo: Season 19 - 2039/40 Mid Season Update

We have endured the loss of our superstar DM Meletiou with the emergence of our second 'wonderkid', Telis Vafiadis RM Winger Attack:20210910215606_1.jpg.763c7ae1cf7f849a7da700a21f6ec304.jpg

Where last season he was showing promise, chipping in with 7 goals and 7 assists over 31 fixtures, this season he has proved lethal, proving a constant menace as a RM Winger attack, benefitting from the decoy runs of a Shadow Striker inside him.  Many of his goals come after play has been sent back to the RDM or LDM who have played through the opponent's Left Full Back channel for a first time finish. This bodes well, as all of my current DM's are nowhere near the physical or technical standards of my departed superstar (Meletiou), but have room for improvement:

20210910221445_1.jpg.ab1cf94ae7f2d1ac7e81c67bf1be5605.jpg

20210910221551_1.jpg.34460e1161c2f4f46a86ec297100f429.jpg

It has paid dividends persisting with the 4411 2DM, with us topping the league at the mid-way stage and progressing from our Champions League Group.

20210910223937_1.jpg.8e3d5702f043366d5868d6037f242640.jpg

20210910223128_1.jpg.8a964d62f323c46fd76a1f0a9bcfd4ba.jpg

In addition, despite the inaccuracies of coach's at judging player potential, four of my First XI are under 20 years old and my rotated senior Second XI contains plenty of youngsters; this team, with two or three youngsters continuing their progress and becoming 'elite' could potentially take us to a consistent annual League challenge and Champions League Glory!

However, I am weak in the lone striker position and lack depth at DM. I really feel this young striker could lead us a potential CL win:

20210910223430_1.jpg.357d3a69b056a1dd7136275367443234.jpg

If he develops as he has been, he could be a game changer for me. This is his third season in the under 19's and I have held back promoting him to aid his development (Finishing was 7 at intake day, I feel it will get to 12/13 eventually with constant shooting training). In truth, he is already as good, if not better than my current first choice striker:

20210910223646_1.jpg.d98b48ed250deef97bb884774472feb3.jpg

If an injury occurs to him or his deputy, an early promotion to senior football will be a given.

In addition, the youth ranks have two players coming through in the DM positions that look like they could surpass my two current starters- boasting superior mental attributes already, but lacking physically, but more on them when they break through.

If I do not pull a surprise in the CL this season, I feel and hope it is not too far in the future.

Less Is More!!!

Belgium

D1B (second Tier)

2026/27 - season 6

Season Summary

Really pleasing season as my young team gains more experience.

League - we were really good, after the first few games we were top. A little stumble around christmas where we lost twice in a row to the bottom placed teams but we recovered well and finished with a run of 4 wins on the bounce. Sadly, it wasn't enough to catch the team in 2nd as they had a similar finish to the season but we're staarting to look a really good team and it can only be a matter of time now. All we need do is stop drawing so many games!

27leaguetable.JPG.0f494d63ca6e94b831b4388f9d6e9c35.JPG

Cup - same old, same old. This time Standard Liege pumped us. We're a long way off Div 1A standard really.

Players

Almost at that stage now where all the first team are youth team graduates. Technically, the youth team players are much better than the legacy players but they're still young and still learning.

The break through star this season was Ramadhan Kwizera 25A. He can play MC or AMC, it doesn't matter, he'll put in a shift for you wherever. Most of the time he was a deep lying playmaker so to get those goals and assissts from there is hugely impressive. Still only 17, he doesn't think our team matches his ambitions and wants to move already. I have him signed for 2 more seasons though, hopefully enough time to get him to sign a new contract

It was also the season I hoped Alessandro Coppini 24A made his first team breakthrough as our lone striker after years of banging them in for the youth teams. He played 14 times, scored 3 and got an average rating of 6.67. He was rubbish. But in the reserves? 38 goals in 21 games, 8.18 rating. His value is now 190k, surely next season he'll do it!

As you can see from the best XI, they are a yougn side and the older players are signficantly weaker in ability. Van Dooren used to be our 5 star best player by a country mile, now look at him!

27bestXI.JPG.b85fdd2ae569fe51f77c982e00e7ec28.JPG

Youth

Average preview and intake, i was hoping for better with our new excellent youth recruitment rating, but I guess it wasn't too bad. No obvious stars though

27youthpreview.JPG.204dafb965baf226a4e3b6be0e002628.JPG27youthintake.JPG.d640ca37d82a054734cda9eadd0eb070.JPG

Our youth team is looking ridiculous in terms of prospects at the minute. My wage bill is at maximum, and most of that is invested in potential. If half these players make it to their potential, we'll be doing alright. Look at all those 4 star ratings!

I need to start sending a few out on loan i think, start getting some money into the club

27bestprospects.JPG.00a8b5b370d054969932711012b5ff9c.JPG

Finances and Upgrades

Eep. 2m in the red at the end of the season. And that's with the board bailing us out from time to time as well. No room for upgrades as a result. I might need to cash in on a couple of my better players at some stage, sadly.

This year has been really great with so many more people joining the Youth Academy Challenge, really hoping people continue to play it for FM22.

It's kind of dumb for me to reply just to say I don't know, but I'm not going to achieve before the new game. (Well, you never know, but it's unlikely), so it might come down to how close I am. If I'm in the Champions League, I might continue. Also, they have to build a new stadium soon. I'm resigned to the fact that they probably won;t name it after me, but I need to know for sure.

I don't feel as though I have to 'complete' this save. For me, once you succeed once you can focus more on the journey than the destination.

However, I do love me some records, and if i were close to a big one, that might be another reason to continue. I simply don't play enough matches in England though.

Oh, and my longest ever save was to 2075 (different challenge), but I'm in 2058 now, and will probably only get another 4 or so seasons in.

A.C.R. Messina 1948 Season 1 Review (21/22)

Even tho, we had a pretty deep team, this season was one big struggle. Always near the bottom of the taple it was pretty clear that we will have to face relegation playoffs. In the end we were able to beat USD Cravese twice. Overall we had some big losses, but with a pretty defensive tactic also were able to get a few unexpected draws. Defense was pretty solid but seriously lacking goalscoring. Might change the tactic for the upcoming season.

Our first intake preview was ok, even tho no golden generation. And the intake itself was ok. We nearly signed every player, just because we will need some depth in the future

I'm in for an attempt over here, decided to add the lower leagues of Malaysia and holidayed a season to take over the lowest predicted team that finished bottom of their 4th tier group, this turned out to be Setiu FC who are predicted 138th out of 141 teams (eleven groups of 12 and one of 13) The only edits I have are the Malaysian lower leagues and my own team long names file so that league tables show full team names instead of abbreviations. I've also loaded players from top division clubs and all international players in Asia giving me a database size of 30,000 players.

Why Malaysia? The player with the most international caps of all time Soh Chin Ann is Malaysian and he managed either 195 or 222 caps depending on the source, as well as this Malaysia has the player with the 3rd most international goals, Mokhtar Dahari who managed 89 goals in 142 games. The aim is to get some really good players playing for the Malaysian NT.

No real players and everyone is 16 from last seasons youth intake, apparently this is our best player:

Good to see you back here @Makoto Nakamura! We need someone to match @Padders in pure seasons! :D Good luck in Malaysia! Been thinking about an Asian adventure myself, but for now it looks like it will wait until FM22!

I'll try and get a lot of seasons done, that's for sure! I had been doing a Youth Only save in the English 14th tier but after 3 seasons the progress was far too slow for me, I've always enjoyed managing in Malaysia during journeyman saves so hopefully that can continue here!

Yeah, so this was unexpected. We went into the new year sitting 16th, safe but still within touching distance of relegation. Come January, we refused to lose. Literally, we didn't lose the entire second half of the season, going 14-5-0. I have no idea where this came from, so maybe I'll blame the determination and work rate. Anyway, that saw us shoot up the table into 5th and a playoff spot, where again we fought our way through to the final, losing our away leg to Perugia, ending our unbeaten streak at 24 games but sending us into the Serie A. I've never had back to back promotions in a save before, but I'm not expecting good things to happen in the Serie A. Theoretically we were barely good enough to survive in the Serie B. We're also finally back in the black too, as we had a board takeover, and I was able to upgrade the junior coaching and youth recruitment for the first time in 5 seasons. Hopefully with the money we get from the top division a few more upgrades might come our way. We're going to need all we can get, as I fully expect to go back down.

3 more players with excellent potential, and a couple of these guys are good enough for the U20 bench, including 6B and 6C. I think this intake may be one of the strongest ones we've had so far.

A virtually identical lineup to last season, except for the addition of De Santis 3C. We're still trending upwards, with the development of defender Diego Inserra elevating him to the clear best player in the club.
