Decent intake, which is adding some depth in the midfield.

So quick question for anyone who knows about doing the challenge in Denmark. Does every club in the 4th tier always begin as amateur?

I think there are a few semi-pro, but I'm not sure. Perhaps all are indeed amateur...

I've been playing just too much monster hunter, so here's a tiny update:

2024/2025 Intake:

image.thumb.png.1495c54cd7984057a7d81918e1fa3f5b.png

And the Top Prospect:

Yet another midfielder who cant cross or finish, just give me another striker or like, a wide midfielder please. Still, could be worse.

Now here's the updated graphs:

2024/2025 Season Review

Upside: we didnt get relegated
Downside: so many important injuries

image.thumb.png.fd1b466dafe1a26cae7cb5be510114ef.png

No consistency outside of that stretch in November

image.png.c2e5eda2bf2d7f89f9b8a40e06f709a2.png

Yeah... we are that team, lot of grit and hard tackles and not a whole lot of clever defending and still manage to only concede one penalty all season apparently

Other stats of note, our set piece woes continue:

 Goals from Corners: 2

Goals from DFK: 1

Goals from IFK: 1

Penalties: 8 taken, 5 scored

Well, that went fast @Cheez3y! Congrats! :applause:

Thank you guys.

Yes it was fast, but I expected it.

Wits had top 4 facilities and won the league back in 2017 IRL. They arent supposed be down there.

After seein this, I needed to do this save, because its maybe once in a lifetime possibility.

For the next adventure, I want to do Asia or North America.

The Sarawak thing sadly doent work, then both cant play in the same league.

Question

How does it work with custom DBs?

Do I need to start in the lowest tier and do the promotion thingy again?

Pretty much the same as normal. If the lowest tier has relegation, then holiday for a season and take over a newly promoted club. For those leagues who DON'T have relegation in the lowest tier, then holiday for a season and take over the team who finished bottom. Though we've only allowed for databases who have at least 2 tiers. So places like San Marino and Gibraltar, who both only have 1 tier, cannot be used.

My current attempt in Russia includes a custom DB. In the vanilla game, Russia have 2 tiers, but I wanted to go a bit deeper, so I found a file that added two more tiers, so I started with a team who got promoted into the 4th tier in Russia and just play as normal.

ACN Siena 1904 - 2039/40 Season Review

591211307_FinalLeagueTable.png.bc5449d2f27e47701c4f05bab3871a95.png

This season was our first in Europe, and it showed rather heavily. We were in a relegation fight for most of the season and it was only after I bit the bullet and made changes to my formations that things started going well for us. Changing to two up top made things easier for us, especially when some of my best talents could express themselves a bit more as a result of the move.

1297095180_EuropaLeagueGroupStageFinal.png.f92cbb5900cbc00b523d4132ee305b49.png

We were one match away from not only getting into the Europa League knockouts, but also getting into the Europa Conference Leagues. In the end, we did neither as Schalke beat us 3-0 to knock us out of Europe altogether. A good season for me since it meant that I had to adapt to the congested nature of a team playing European football every year and we don't have that kind of depth just yet.

I was so grumpy by the end of the season that I acknowledged that things needed to be tinkered going forward, and both our training and youth facilities get downgraded at the end of the season. I made sure to get the board to upgrade them immediately, so they will both be state of the art facilities by Christmas next season. Life is good in that regards.

Ah ok, thank you.

So South Korea is viable?

There are two tier and no relegation from the 2nd to the 3rd.

FC United of Manchester ; season 2042/43

Errea is named new technical sponsor of FC United of Manchester!

League Table ; Squad ; Starting 11TransfersYouth Candidates

Our third season in the Premier League and we've outpaced my progress expectations by qualifying for the Europa League.

Three teenagers from our golden generation intake two seasons ago were first team regulars, while the oldest outfield player in my starting eleven is only 24 years old. So hopefully the future is very bright!

FC Novokuznetsk - Season 2035/36 Review

Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances

Well, that was quite a surprising season! I had no idea what to expect from this league, but apparently, the difference is not that big! At least for us. So we are promoted to the top tier after back to back promotion, and I do feel like we do deserve it after the hell that is the Russian 3rd tier for 12 seasons. We will be favourites for relegation though, since I really don't think the squad is good enough for the Russian top tier. But perhaps the top teams are just so much better than the rest? I mean, Spartak Moscow's 2nd team won the 2nd tier ahead of us. So perhaps we have a slight chance if the poorest teams are around our level. Hopefully there's some money to be made soon, since the only reason we are not about £2m in the red is because we got another loan.

In the Kubok Rossii we beat FK Tyumen to reach the 4th round group stage. There we finished 2nd, behind Lokomotiv Moscow, and ahead of Avangard Kursk and got knocked out.

Youth

We keep getting good intake, but as we've seen the last few seasons, it might not mean much.

oAThLgY.png

Yeah, this is not a good intake...

bOULgv9.png

Liu Shuang 36b is a decent talent, but not amazing.

leN35Sk.png

U21s:

They only played friendlies.

U18s:

They finished 1st in the Russian U18 Division - Siberia Group 2 and qualified. In the Group stage the finished 2nd and qualified from there as well. In the knockout rounds they beat Dnepr Smolensk U18s, Smena KnA U18s, and eventually, Avangard Kursk U18s to win the whole thing!

Statistics:

Spoiler

That's China added to the list.

Our offense has been on fire all season.  We ripped off an unbeaten streak of 16 games.  We put the opposition on the backfoot and don't let them attack us.  I've made a couple of tactical tweaks which has us shooting more leading toward more goals which leads to the opposition playing more defensive which reduces their offensive chances.  It's a vicious cycle that works in our favor.

Near the league lead in goals per game, shots per game, xG Goals against per game.  We are firing on all cylinders.  Our defense could have been even better but my darn chairman keeps selling players above my head.

Soufaine Dghoughi 25A continues to rake in the appearances mainly due to a lack of options in the midfield.  Armando 27F has moved past Jamie Loft 26F in goals by an academy player.  However, Austin Power 31G is quickly closing in on him.

Starting with the big news.

SweChampions1.png.da6e0fa621bc939a451d877bc65b9d01.png

We are moving on up to the Swedish 1st Division! Unlike last season we started the season off quick going our first 6 games without a loss, We were in the top 3 for most of season and unlike last year the team's we were battling dropped off in the last 4 games while we didn't. Our attackers played well, and so did GK Anton Kjellsson but our midfield and RBs tended to struggle. We made the most of our set pieces as we lead the league in goals from corners, Our depth doesn't fill me with great hope for the next year but I'm happy to be there. Intake players Andreas Holmen 22D and Peter Norell 22H gave us some good win off the bench. In other team news it wasn't just the Main team that won something but the U19s won their league as well.

Berliner FC Dynamo

BFC Dynamo
End of season review 2027/2028

League Table | Finances |FacilitiesYouth intake | Transfers | Competitions Overview

Our first season in the Bundesliga, and what a season it was. We were never in danger of relegation. With a bit of more luck we could have qualified for Europe! But to be honest: we overachieved. We got some nice players, but when I compare our squad with other squads in the Bundesliga, then we are the weakest team of the league. By miles. I think every team underestimate us, and that that is a big factor that we won a lot of our matches. But I will not complain! This was a dream debut in the Bundesliga. And with this 11th place, we earned almost € 50 million, so we will not have any financial problems anymore. We even got State of the Art Youth Facilities now  So yes, I am a very happy man.
We still can't compete in the Cup. In all those years we never got further then the 3th round. Also this season we lost in the 2nd round. I play mostly with my B-team, because I want my players to be fit for the competition. But maybe I must take the Cup more serious from now on.

We also had a very big outgoing Transfer. Our best player, Ibrahim Arim 23a, was sold on Deadline Day to Schalke 04 for € 20 million. I got more bids for him, but rejected most of them. But when Schalke came with a bid on Deadline Day, I negotiated and asked for 20 million with 50% of his next transfer fee. And they accepted it
But I could accept the offer. Not only for the money, but also because we got some really nice talents who can play even more now.
And he did well after the transfer, he played 14 matches in the Bundesliga and he scored 4 goals for them.

Best players
The player with the highest avr. rating was my goalkeeper Damian Schobert. He's the last real player from the original squad who is still playing for us. He is a fantastic goalkeeper for us. And the media was suggesting that the manager of the national team, Jürgen Klopp, must give him a call-up for the national team. I don't think he is good enough for that level, but it's great to read all those news items about him. Even more because he is a real player.
mom5AW9.png

Philipp Stein 25l was the man in form this season. He is only 18 years old, but in his debut season he scored 12 Bundesliga goals and 10 assists. He is developing into a really nice player for us!
And the same can be said about Emir Halili 26a, our Libero. He will be a future star, for sure. He is only 17 years old! I think that he can develop into a fantastic player.

YKeTNjh.png

TYjh2ND.png

Youth intake
I changed my HoyD halfway the season. This is the preview with my old HoyD:
mvG1YL0l.png
But then I decided to sack Arnoud-Michel Royon. Not that I was unhappy with him, but I had the chance to hire this legend. His stats are way better then Royon
rBQowfV.png

But when I hired him, the youth intake preview also changed:
iBE10yy.png

The actual intake was fantastic. With Tom Büchler 28a we got a potential gold mine. We've got our own Arjen Robben! These are the best 5, according to Kompany:

Great job @Winski . with that kind of money in the books.. u need to get into Europa and i'm sure u are able to finish this challenge , go go ! :)

mid-season update: a few more facilities upgrades but more importantly, moved in to our new all-seated stadium and things are going well for us:

image.png.98ae20ab459db96af7562f9ee11697ce.png

We are still the same in many aspects:

385 Fouls made, 475 tackles, 85% tackle won ratio, 55 yellow cards, 1 red, 2 Penalties conceded

Anxiously awaiting the inevitable January slump, plus ça change.

SweYI3.2.png.19aa1398d776270eba9bc5d0430581e3.png

We get 2 right away useful players in Svensson and Olsson. Svensson looks better then last year's youth intake fullback Peter Norell. Olsson will come in as the main back up on the right wing if I can get him trained their. It's a decent class but the fact that we can't improve our facilities means our players aren't really growing but we just don't have the money to improve them. Giannis Manasis becomes our second dual national player as he holds both Swedish and Greek nationalities.

Still no foreign national academy prospect, all french, almost exclusively local

Game continues to give me a swarm of midfielders and no forwards and the few forwards I get have less than 9 finishing, this is going to force some creative tactical decisions

Top prospect

Second regen GK I've gotten in this save that could slot into the first team almost right away

The team looks solid but OLD and lacking a recognised left-back. Not much in the way of existing youth prospects but there's a couple I can work with. Time to sort out staff and commence the grind.

So, my board decides that the cost of a new stadium would be too high to asume...

f23348e3c2251272d1f865f3622d9086.pngspacer.png

But just 10 minutes after that, they go and decide to get a 14.5M€ loan to build it :D

Anyway, the stadium will be built in Barcelona, so in my romantic mind we will be based in the same neighborhood (Gràcia) - although in real life it would be almost impossible to build a football stadium there.

Look at this! Damian Schobert has been called up for the German National Team!!! The last real player in our squad, 29 years old now. He has been amazing for us. He is one of our Team Leaders, his average ratings are very high every season. And this is his present for all of the hard work in the last 7 seasons.
Damian Schobert, who is playing in Regionalliga Nordost at the start of FM21, has been called up for the German National Team. Can't believe it.  I don't think he will play, but this is fantastic already.

Gutting. I hope that you can maintain your level next season. Do you think your squad is on the rise or decline?
