Popular Post OlivierL
Berchem Sport - Belgium - Intro - 3th tier - Eerste Nationale Database |Club info | Club Vision | Facilities |Finances |Youth intake 22 Intro I played one season with them on FM21 but stopped playing after a big data bug and huge youth setup costs . I tried it again two weeks ago but i started with Haukar in Iceland. I have put the iceland save on hold.. Why Berchem again ? I really wanted to play with Merksem City Pirates, a team with a lot of (foreign) youth but they never came up after reloading many times. So i picked the next best thing.. Berchem ! They play in my hometown Antwerp and I live very close to Berchem(located in Antwerp). They are the second closest team i could pick in Belgium. A Youth only with players from Antwerp is what I've wanted to do for a long time with my own club (Royal Antwerp FC , but they play in the first division) I also know some players and staff members of Berchem. Berchem is the friendly rival of my club and is nicknamed 'the nicest team in town'. Berchem has also received the 'Royal' title in their name, which is something special in Belgium. Berchem played in the first division for 41 years. The last year was in 86 / 87 and they became 3 times vice-champion but never champion. Thanks @Perre8for the new kits ! I think that the third tier in Belgium seems to be the right choice for me. Not a small country, not a big country either. Starting in a third division is not too high or too low and Berchem has quite good youth facilities and reputation. We start with 19 senior players and 8 youth players. In Antwerp we have three 'big' teams . Royal Antwerp F.C. (Bosuilstadion), Beerschot(Olympisch Stadion) and Berchem Sport. Stadium Unfortunately there is one mistake in the database and that is the stadium. Berchem has a beautiful old stadium but half of it was recently demolished. This beautiful gate and main stand is left over. The database uses their old capacity(12245 - 2687 seats) while in reality they have 1250 capacity( 360 seats) . In the future they will get a new stadium for +- 4000 seats but everything is currently on hold because of the Covid situation. Ludo Coeck stadium - build in 1929 What is left of the Ludo Coeck Stadium since 2020 . They build a temporary stand in front of their old main staind. Squad Andy Van Hoof, Brent Peers, Chems Eddine Hamouch, Fabio Pinto and Jeroen Van Den Driessche played for Antwerp youth when i was a youth coach / scout ,years ago. And i tried to 'poach' Rik De Kuyffer to Antwerp but he went to Club Brugge before returning to Berchem. Key players Van den Driessche is our captain and best defender. Van Hoof will play an important role up front and De Kuyffer should be our main goalscorer. Youth intake 2022 - Best of the class Larbi 22A is the one with the best PA and a resolute personality , Zawada 22E had the best CA and could become an important player already next season. Spoiler I tag/sort them by PA and CA after youth intake and my calculation. Edited November 25, 2021 by OlivierL
OlivierL
2 hours ago, XaW said: XaW - Africanos Bragança - Season 2022/23 - Campeonato Nacional Prio Table | Relegation stage | Squad | Transfers | Finances Well, this is quite the challenge, I'll tell you that! The match day squad needs at least 13 players who are "trained in Portugal"! Guess what most of my players aren't? So I had to use a lot of greys this season. The next issue? Players don't have this distinction when they come in through the youth intake. The positive is that 7 of them will be eligible for this in September next season, so a bit into the season we might not have to use grey players anymore. The rest will need yet another season to get it. The initial phase went well enough, but we were not part of the top two (plus best 3rds) to go into the promotion stage. So our 5th spot meant we went into the relegation phase. 8 teams who play each other twice and the 4 worst go down (and out of the leagues). We fought hard and eventually finished 4th in our group and will get to play another season at this level. I also seem to have a good board. They have given me several coaching licenses, as well as agreeing to improve both youth coaching and youth recruitment two times each! Taça de Portugal: We lost on pens to Sabugal in the 1st round. Player of the season: Bilimbota - The striker was more of less the only thing we had close to a threat on goal. Youth intake: As usual in the lower leagues, all 5 star potential. Still, at this time, I'd take whatever I can get. Very highly rated by the staff, and I agree. My only gripe is that he is a bit short and not got great jumping. Hope he grows a bit. Reveal hidden contents Cape Verde watch: Trophy cabinet N/A You really did a good job to stay up, i couldn't in my first attempt (only tried it with holidaying but with my main tactic selected, never played the games myself). SOStriker
I figured I'd have a go at this challenge. I've been doing the dafuge challenge for years, how hard could this challenge be, right?? So went with Tamworth. Unfortunately, after half a dozen games (Edit: 4 actually, but who's counting) we haven't managed a single point. We are DIRE. I'm blaming it on starting the season with only 2 defenders (both pretty bad) and poor CMs, feels like I don't have much to work with and I think this save's dead on arrival. I'll keep going and post an update at the end of the season or when sacked/relegated but I don't hold much hope for this one. Popular Post Braumiller
South ShieldsSeason 03 ( 2024 / 2025 ) Another season of overachieving, although not to the same extent in the league. However, this year we had two great cup runs. They did however cause hellacious fixture logjams around Dec through Feb and we struggled to keep our head above jadedness constantly. We snuck into the playoffs again, this time needing a final day result to secure it. We again failed to make an impact though, going down 0-1 in the first round to Eastleigh in a very tight game at their place. The cups though are where the main action was this year, both in excitement and income! In the FA Cup we made it into the main rounds for the first time in 3 attempts, 1st Round we got in form Aldershot at home and dispatched them 2-0! 2nd round at at home again against League One Birmingham. We rode our luck a little at the start of the game when they hit the woodwork a couple of times, but we put in a shift and an 80th minute goal saw our biggest victory to date! 3rd round and we were hoping for that huge payday draw, instead we got another League One team at home, Swansea. Another amazing effort and we held them 0-0 to force a replay (more $$$!). The replay was dreamland. We hit them on the counter 3 times, stunning them with a Ntumba Massanka hat trick to be up 3-0. The dominance they had shown all game finally started to hurt us as we tired and goals for them at 83 & 84 minutes had us fearing the worst. Thankfully we held out and we were through to the 4th round! We got our away day at a Premier League club, albeit Brentford and their smaller stadium. As you would expect we were massively outclassed, being outshot 30-4. A 90+1 goal for us gave us a VERY flattering final score of a 1-2 defeat, but it was a great ride! FA Trophy saw similar escapades. We got all the way to the semi finals before falling over two legs to Stockport. We won the first leg 1-0, scored a 90th minute goal in the 2nd leg to make it 1-2 on the night, 2-2 on aggregate and then ran out of gas, HARD. They put 3 past us without reply in extra time and we fell agonizingly short of a trip to Wembley. Our intake preview had me very excited, but my expectations were a little too high. Still, a handful more high potential kids who might make an impact. This years main kid. I like him as an attacking full back and will try and mold him that way Nice versatility here and potential captain material if he makes it into the team Another tall, high potential GK. Board are still happy enough! A couple of the welsh kids moved on, that's it this year The upside of the cup runs! 3rd year in a row and we are losing one of our best players (Conner Tee). In fact, we are losing 2 of our 3 starting midfield trio which is a worry. I still have 3 I am comfortable starting, although one is going to turn 34 this year.... Jakub Jedryas YP-01C has developed really nicely and will be my new midfield maestro I hope. Given the need to rotate, I am going to need to blood more youngsters in midfield ASAP We finally got our first facility upgrade the day after our FA Cup exit. Youth Recruitment going from Basic to Fairly Basic. End of the season saw a double whammy. The local council again rejected the boards request to expand our stadium and then our training facilities were downgraded due to technological advancements. Grrr.
Popular Post libbyshuss
2041/42 (season 20) SkyBet Leauge 1 Season Summary Close but not cigar! Stil, not a bad season considering we ost our two star players League - we started realy bizarrely. We'd win comfortably, then get battered. After 12 games it wass w4 d4 l4 and we'd just gone to Rotherham and lost 5-1. Then we went on a 16 match run where we lost only once, which propeeled us right up the table. The last 3 games of that run saw us beat teams in the pay-off places too. We were 4 points off top spot! So next game, against 21st place Grimsby, we lose. And then lost 4 of the next 6. We rallied at the end to finish 5th quite comfortably, but it was into the play-offs for us. First leg was against Coventry. We were brilliant. Second leg we were awful, and almost blew it! But into the fina we went! Against Port vale, who had finished third. It was an exciting, close affair that we ended up just the wrong side of. Still, not a bad season for our first at this level FA Cup - a good run, back in the third round! We got an away draw at Everton, just when we don't need the money. We lost 4-2 Players So Kyle Clarence our premier league quality striker, had one season left on his contract and was showing absolutely no interest in signing a new one. So with our youth costs so high I cashed him in for 10m with a 50% sell on to Fortuna Dusseldorf. Then, in January, our crazy good right back Harry Ward 40A got snuffled away by Brighton for 11m against my wishes. Despite those losses, the team stood up well. We played far more squad based than I have before, so here's the top 14! Robert Price 39B was the breakput star. he'd been filling in at LW, AMC and STC over the last couple of seasons so I knew he was capable of filling in for Clarence. He did amazingly wel - 37 goals and then capped his season off with this:- He's going to the World Cup! Youth I love youth intake day. It's like a whole batch of random new signings all at once. So, the preview was ok. 5 star again the intake was ok, some nice personalities in there Bell and Grayson look the best two prospects:- Interestingly when the world's best 50 wonderkids list came out I recognised a face in it. Number 4! My first in there! even if he isn't mine anymore... Finances and Upgrades Another positive season! With all that transfer money coming in I went shopping again And finaly, after years of being rejected, we get a new stadium! We've been playing at Hartlepool since we came a league side. It'll be nice to get back to Whitby! New Kits Very pleased with the new kits for the new season! A classy Nike affair with Samaritans as our new sponsor. The away kit is suitably bonkers as well, which I approve of heartily Career
Morpheus13
SC Toulon Season 27/28 Review Table - Squad - U19 Squad - Transfers - Finances Another Season done and we finished 13th. We keep overachieving which is good, because once again we have been relegation favourites. Especially nice that we keep being safe from relegation despite losing our star goalkeeper for free at the end of last season. And I have to experiment with the tactic, since I have no wingers in the team and normally I like to play with wingers. Nice (or sad) little story from my football universe. Girondins Bordeaux, playing in Ligue 1 at the moment, got relegated this season into the non-playable league Youth Our youth players are still progressing very slowly or at all. On one hand, alot of them have bad personalities and we still haven't good training facilities, so its really hard to develop them, despite giving them first team minutes. Mohamed Teka (25B) is slowly progressing into an important player for us. Ibrahima Mas (23B) already is and he is also our first international player, playing for the comoros. The absolute star is Daouda Diawara (26A), who already is our best player, but I dont think we can hold him much longer. Half the Ligue 1 Teams are after him, so I will have to sell him and make sure I get the 40/50% sell on clause. Intake 28 Preview Nice preview with three times A. Was especially pleased that there was a striker in line, since Delgado ist getting old. $ The intake itself was nice, even tho we didnt get a stud like Diawara this time and unfortunately no players who are really ready for the first team. Most excited about Roger (28A), Vetter (28B) and Rosso (28C) We one again convinced the board to improve the youth recruitement Next Season Nothing new. Trying to survive, give first team minutes to our youngsters and convince the board to improve our facilities

DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2022/23 C. E. Jenlai Season Summary A season where we were good enough to avoid a relegation battle. Season Details League Table - We won enough games to finish in a comfortable mid table position. League Fixtures - Considering how few players we have, I am delighted with our form this season. Copa Federació Andorrana Table - I have no idea where our form came from, though we won the competition with ease, topping the group by eight points. Copa Federació Andorrana Fixtures - We won all seven games. Pre Season Friendlies - A decent enough pre season, with just the two defeats. Squad - We lack players and with no academy, I need to grow the bank balance so the board allow me to build one. Squad Dynamics - It is a thing of beauty. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - With no youth academy and the board currently refusing me permission to start one, I have not had an intake. Finances - We are in the black though we need a lot more to start a youth academy. Key Players Rashid Idris - Veteran Ghanaian striker who played exceptionally for most of the campaign. Joao Sequeira - Defender who raises his game when it matters the most. Estenislao López - Another defender who had a great season. Leandro Quinhentas - A natural striker, I have been forced to play him on the wing to fit my system. Mauro Oliveira - Right back who is one of the best players at the club. Next Season Until we can start an academy, I am looking at treading water, so a repeat of this season would be just fine. JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 3 – 2024/25 - Starting Off Well? In a season where we could be really struggling to do well in the league, this kind of start where we are winning is really important. Instead of trying to sit back and defend leads, I want my sides to go out and attack the opposition in an attempt to get more goals, so when we don't keep a clean sheet, I have a good reason as to why that's the case. Still, we only lost to Chaves on penalties and we've progressed in the cup, I should be happy, right? If you told me that after seven matches we would be sitting in 9th and in the top half of the table, I probably would have taken that. It gives me a good feeling to know that maybe we can be looking like a side that is going to stir things up and do things. The main concern is whether or not we are going to survive this season. Given we are 5 points clear of any danger after 7 matches? I think we can survive this season. If you guys want to see all of the league wins so far, feel free to watch my latest video, I even talk about some of the developments of my players too, which is nice. BustaRaymes
*FM20* Molodechno-DYuSSh-4 2024 - season 5 Belarussian First Division We were abysmal for most of the season, scraping points here and there. Although we never lost by big margins, we had a tough time stringing together a few results. The way up was found after a switch to an attacking, direct and flat 4-4-2 with 2 fast strikers. So in the end we did progress when compared to last season, but the season did not go as hoped. We did have a takeover which got us out of our financial trouble. The new chairman is not very enthousiastic about coaching badges or investing in our youth so I'm not sure how much of a step up this will be. Squad Sachivko progressed as expected into a star player within a season. I hope to keep him here for a bit longer but he's starting to see he needs to leave before too long. Chichev had a good first season at DR and Khripach, while still just 17, did even better with a 7.07 rating. His buddy at the back Chichkan will be our next captain as he grew further. Luckily he doesn't feel the need to move on yet, and there hasn't been a lot of interest as well. Lavrik is not developing so despite being one of our better players when he came out of the youth system, I'm looking to see if I can replace him. Bugay is our new star. The pacey winger did well, attracted some interest and I'm curious to see where his ceiling is. Korytko continued his decent performances this season. Szumski finally showed his ability after his first season, in which he didn't deliver at all. 6 goals and 9 assists from midfield is very decent for us. Pitirimov and Belov switched back and forth with neither really performing as hoped. Zuevich was the first choice striker at the start of the season, but it wasn't until Sobko was posted next to him up front that he started performing and scoring. Sobko did well again. Although his attributes are mediocre, he is a good goalscorer so I might have to consider him for next season. Transfers Jovancic was running out of his contract and wanted to leave, so I let him before the chairman could haggle out a smaller fee. Youth intake I wasn't ready for this one. Great, great, great intake. Krasnov is our best player easily. Maschenko, Khomutovskiy and Makavchik will go straight into the first team as well. Not sure how to fit them in a 4-4-2 with Szumski, but we'll find a way. Look at this perfect picture. What a man. He should be on a painting. Next season With Krasnov now in our midst, I can see us leaping forward. With him, Szumski and Maschenko there's a lot of footballing ability in the centre of the park so if I can find the right ta... Never mind.

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Africanos Bragança - Season 2023/24 - Campeonato Nacional Prio Table | Relegation stage | Squad | Transfers | Finances This is really not an easy challenge, I can tell you that! We got 8 more players trained for the league this season, but the quality is very variable. And it also means I can use the original players quite sparingly. A few months into next season a new batch of players should be eligible, so I hope this issue is a thing of the past when we are well into next season. We had a good season in the initial stage, as we ended on 24 points, 2 more than the first one. It still was a bit away from going into the promotion stage. In the relegation stage we did better than last time, and finished in a strong 3rd place to secure another season. The board continues to be nice to me, and I now have a National A license done. They have so far refused the continental ones though. I also have more improvements to the junior coaching and youth recruitment. Towards the end of the season, I even got an improvement to the youth facilities accepted and it will be done over the summer. Taça de Portugal: We beat Oriental Lisboa before we lost to Felgueiras 1932 in the 2nd round. Player of the season: Tiago Monteiro - The defender had a strong season for us, and really helped us to stay up. Youth intake: The intake this season was a really strong one after we had the improvements done last season. A good and versatile midfielder I hope we can get good use of. Popular Post Elsjorro
Cottbus 2046-2047: So, we are not losing players (yet if i may add). Nijhoff leaves after this season. Let's see if we can reproduce the same thing as last season: Well, we can be very short about that: No. Dortmund was far to good for any of the Bundesliga teams or maybe we were not good enough. Still, we managed to get in that 2nd position so thats pretty good. Oh please give me that striker. I would love another striker. So i forgot to make a screen from the intake, so lets see the players that stood out: So, a pretty talented goalkeeper. Very happy with that, Pena is allready 28 years old. So its good to have a replacement coming. So, Nijhoff is going to leave us. Hopefully this man can fill his shoes. Im somewhat confident he can do that. So our attacking midfielder. I see something in him. But again, a midfielder. I allready have so much of these. Gooseen, supposed to be our striker. But with 5 finishing (SIGH) i doubt it. So. again our talents are winning prizes. Also the intakes seem to get better so thats good for the future: Most interesting player is Jansen. My HOYD thought it wasnt worth it to sign him in the intake 2/3 years ago. Because he had some decent skills, i decided otherwise. And he is not failing me tbh, With Hortnagl being 31 allready, he might need to step up real soon: So, dortmund was our nemesis this year: They bothered us in 3 prizes. So, the important part of the challenge: CL. We cruised quite easily trough the group stage and had a pretty nice draw for the 1st knockout. Unfortunatly, Sociedad made the 2-1 in the 94th minute and scored in the extra time in the 118th minute. To bad. Lets regroup and try another time.
CardiffDragon
2027/28 Mid league break This is the first time i have done a mid season report but it has been such a busy first half that i thought i should update you all Into europe again and with a 2nd round followed by a 3rd round progress over the last two years the goal was to repeat and if we were lucky get a fourth round moneyspinner out of this then we were drawn with Hammarby a much bigger team, so that would be the end of that. Was so proud of the team when we held them to a 0-0 draw away and then........ Spoiler on to the second round and a draw against minsk, another tough opponent Spoiler What a result, walking on air here, surely we cant mess this up............ Spoiler Phew!!!! that turned into a highly stressful game. But nice moneyspinner in the third round Basel! Spoiler the player of the match tells you what ype of game it was.... real back to the wall effort..... basically we hacked their legs off so they couldnt score but a win is a win Spoiler Fourth round we had a team from kazakstan who we comfortablely beat and wow into the groups for the first time ever, joined by TNS ans Cardiff Met, three welsh teams, hopefully this will start effecting the youth rating if we keep going like this Ok the group stages were....ummmmm.........tough but we did manage to win one game Spoiler Great for our finances and are turning pro next season now and got the training and youth facilities both upgraded so bodes well for the future, on the downside we suffered badly in the league failing to finish in the top half before the split since the first season in the league. Our youngsters could not cope with all the games and started fatiguing badly which caused us to drop off the pace quickly. All rides on the cup or the playoffs now Spoiler But i would say it was worth it!

SpS_Zen
Season 14 A successful season. We are no longer the underdogs, and I finally found the right tactical tweaks to show our dominance on the pitch. We started the season with 20-1 odds, around 7th place. We went unbeaten in the first part of the season with 39 points in 15 games. W: 12 D: 3. Despite that, Kaizer Chiefs (our nemesis) was still ahead of us. In the second part of the season, we played the continental cup, and lost a few points here and there in the league. On the last journey, we are second with 72 points, and Kaizer Chiefs is first with 74 points. I no longer have our destiny under control. We both are facing a strong team on the last journey. Quickly, we are down 0-2 in the first half. Our performance is decent, but it feels like it isn't our day. At half time, I made aggressive changes, without seeing much of a result from it. Until 82th minute. Khumalo 33c leads a counter attack in the left wing and delivers a perfect center for my striker, Mokoena 28a. 1-2. 86th minute : our right winger George 32d run with the ball on the right flank and center to Khumalo 33c. Under pressure, a defender pushed the ball into his own net. 2-2. 92th minute : Khumalo 33c takes a shot in the 16 yards, the ball hits Radebe 30a back (our second striker) and rebounds into Zulu 27a feets, our key player in the last 7 seasons. He takes the shot and GOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLL. 3-2. In the same time, Kaizer Chiefs drawn their last game, despite clear dominance. We got really lucky ! Really unfortunate for our nemesis. We both equalized the record of highest number of points in the league, but they only finished second. Some changes in the squad, 3 midfielders and 1 winger were released to give more space to my promising youths. Masson 24d and Nyundu 25h will be released at the end of the season. They were useful tutors and players. Confederation Cup: We won the equivalent of the Europa League, for Africa. I sent my B team until semi-finals. Quarters weren't easy but our toughest opponent was another South African team Amuzulu FC, to which we conceded our only defeat of the season in the Premiership. We faced them in semi finals. YI looks good with Ngubo 36a, right winger, as hot prospect. My YI brings more and more players. 22 this time and i rejected 5 more. I never saw this before. Usually a YI brings around 15 players, not 27 lol. Two of my best players. Mkatshana 32b came through from an affiliate club. The team reached top 3 in terms of national reputation and top 6 in Africa. Our odds before the new season are 10-1, placing us third. I have good hope to complete the challenge in the following seasons.
Stobart13
Season 6 Review Competitions |Transfers | League Table This could've proven to be a bit of a crossroads season, if I'm being honest. For the first time in the entire save, I wasn't expected to avoid relegation, instead, a mid table finish was expected. We smashed that objective out of the water and managed to finish 2nd. This was unexpected and certainly a positive step forward in what has been a pretty tough few years, slugging it out in the championship. Unfortunately, we got knocked out in the promotion playoff "semi final". I've no idea how this is a thing (I'm definitely saying this because I'm annoyed and lost), by Loughgall, who beat us on the last day of the season, to claim 3rd place and the play-off spot. We lost on penalties after drawing 5 each after two legs. Absolutely gutting, but to take a side who had been relegated the year before shows that this squad is capable and I'm hoping and praying that we can go one step further next season. Ideally, winning the league would be the best path, rather than having to play 2nd or 3rd place over two legs, then play the team that finished 11th in the Premiership. We also got our Youth Recruitment and Junior Coaching up to Exceptional and Excellent. I'd ideally like to be updating our youth facilities as well, but the club is in quite a bit of debt. Its nothing too serious yet, but ideally, we need some teams to come in and start buying our players ASAP. I'm hoping when we get promoted, the TV revenue and the gate receipts from some of the bigger clubs can help us out too. Obviously the ideal goal is to qualify for Europe, as the 200-250k you get for just playing in it would be a massive boost, I still think we are 5 years off that, and thats being VERY generous. As usual, not much to write about in the cups. Lost to Premiership opposition in the Irish Cup, League Cup and County Antrim shield again. Although our reserves did win their league. Which was very nice, considering that our reserve team are full of our youth players that aren't quite ready to make the step up to the first team, as there appears to be no U18 league until you get into the Premiership Youth Intake Preview | Youth Intake Part 1 | Youth Intake Part 2 Only one real star from Youth Intake this year, he made 6 appearances this season and got 2 assists. Which is very exciting Trevor O'Reilly (Y06 A) The objective for next season, is to try and get back into the playoff positions, but I would love for us to push on and try and grab the title. DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2023/24 C. E. Jenlai Season Summary A much better season where we came within a whisker of promotion. Season Details League Table - An excellent campaign where we qualified for the Promotion League. League Fixtures - We were so consistent, though Carroi proved too strong and we had to settle for second place. Promotion League - We had a chance of top spot and promotion going into the final day. Alas, it wasn't to be and we even missed out on a promotion playoff spot and had to settle for third place. Promotion League Fixtures - That loss on the final day cost us promotion. Pre Season Friendlies - It was another strong pre season showing where we only lost twice in our ten matches. Squad - We have exactly the same squad as last season. Squad Dynamics - Whilst not as good as last year, it is still good enough. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - I still don't have an academy. Finances - We are in the red and I don't know how to rectify this. Key Players Rashid Idris - It was a goal laden season from the frontman. João Sequeira - An absolutely cracking year from the defender who played so far above himself. Estenislao López - Another great season from the defender. Leandro Quinhentas - The striker was used primarily in midfield and played well enough. Mauro Oliveira - Despite another solid season, the right back has showed signs of a rapid decline. Next Season A repeat by qualifying for the Promotion League would be a great season. SOStriker
Mid-Season Update - Tamworth - Season 2022/23 I thought I'd post a mid-season update since I'm somehow still going with this disaster save. Starting Manager Profile ( forgot to post) Spoiler Results (1st Half of the Season) So I said we were dire after the first few games, and that definitely held true. I tried experimenting a little to turn things around, but it seemed we were very limited in what formations we could. We had just 2 defenders on the books when we started (technically 3, but the 3rd was out of contract when we joined and refused to re-sign), and very few options on who could be retrained to fill the other spots. We had to use a few MCs, which in turn limited our options in midfield. We went on an insane run of defeats through the first half of the season. Honestly, this has to go down as the worst start to a career i've ever had in 25 or so years of FM/CM. I was very much going through the motions at a certain point just playing until I got sacked when I started to get the dread media speculations a few games in a row, but the board weren't pulling the trigger yet. I decide to finally listen to my assistant on a new formation for the FA Trophy second round. I switched from my 4-4-2 to a Wide 4-2-3-1, and wouldn't you know it, it paid off! It turns out playing more possessional football and less direct football helped increase our chances, reduce our opponents chances, and seemed to do our crap defensive line some favours. And so we picked up our first win of the season, and went on to 4 straight wins. Could this be the turnaround? Ehh... maybe not, because as you can see I'm back to losing ways, while still being so far behind in the league table. It hasn't helped that we've had a fair few suspensions/injuries to our defensive options the last few games, but that's football. Mid-Season League Table That brief glimmer of hope has probably only bought me some time with the board. It still seems very unlikely we can turn this season around, but we'll keep going. Youth Intake Preview: We did get our first Youth Intake Preview, and I'd be pretty happy with this. This intake should help fill out most of the areas in the squad we lack depth (Defence and CM i'm looking at you) and hopefully there will be some quality there to improve the starting XI. Unfortunately we've got to survive relegation first. We keep going. Edited November 26, 2021 by SOStriker
Flashman\'s School Days
Tacuarembó Fútbol Club - Season 2023 Review Manager Characteristics - Attributes - Transfers - Fixtures 1 - Fixtures 2 Campeonato Uruguayo - 9th A very successful first season in the top division where we managed to never even be in too much danger of being dragged into a relegation battle. The season started off much better than I could have imagined with three wins and then three draws where we were unlucky not to add to our wins, unfortunately not capitalising on those chances started a bit of downward spiral. Up until the end of the Intermedio Group Stage (which is 7 fixtures between the opening and closing stages where you play each team once) we only really managed results against the teams that were struggling except when we went up against one of the two Uruguayan giants in Nacional, overcoming them 2-1 after being 1-0 down. In the closing stage of the league we were able to go five unbeaten but then lost three in a row before heading into a November where we were facing some of the better sides in the league but we managed to only lose one of the last seven fixtures (to River Plate, that kept them in the division on the average points table) and we even completed a league double over Nacional. Squad The squad wasn't too much different to last season to begin with although two players had retired, unfortunately we lost our best striker at the end of his contract after 3 games of the season, then we lost a promising striker midway through the season in the same way as well as a left back retiring midway through the season too. One thing that changed from playing in the second tier is that you aren't allowed to play anyone on a youth contract so effectively that means nobody under 17 is eligible to play. Due to this we only had four defenders for the first few games until thankfully the first player to come of age was left back Fernando Céspedes 22b who went on to play the majority of the season doing a solid job. Our best midfielder was Nicolás Pintado who came back from a two year loan at Boston River and pretty much from the start of the season said he wanted to leave and I've not been able to get him to agree to signing a new contract so I'm almost certain he'll be gone at the end of his contract which is before next season. As well as him, two other centre mids are unhappy and will be leaving at the end of their contracts, one before next season and the other halfway through it. Luckily I think Matías Rodríguez 22d looked decent when he played and I reckon he will get a lot of game time next season. For me though our best player is Mateo Charamoni who I'm surprised nobody had shown an interest in but I have manged to tie him down to a long term contract and can see him being a starter for many years to come. Youth Intake This intake got a Golden Generation tag when it came through but I'm not quite sure about that although it includes a few good players. Bruno Charamoni 23b looks like a decent prospect on the wing and Pablo Bouza 23d is an exciting forward but by far the pick of the bunch is Washington Malaquín 23a who looks like he is going to be a great talent. Peñarol bid in June for him with a derisory non negotiable £13.5k rising to £17.35k and 30% of profit and he's been wanted by MC Torque for months now too so that gives me an indication of having someone with decent potential on our hands too. Finances A small amount of profit made this season but only really due to the end of season influx of sponsorship money and I think the increased broadcast revenue has helped maintain us throughout the season. We again didn't sell any season tickets but then individual games are £2 for a ticket so we still had 96% capacity average this season. Obviously with the money situation I haven't been able to ask for any upgrades but the board are being very generous with letting me go on courses back to back so I am currently studying for my Continental B licence.
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2024/25 C. E. Jenlai Season Summary A season of triumph where we won the league title against all of the odds and secured promotion to the top flight. Season Details League Table - We won the league with ease, securing the title by a large League Fixtures - We had an extraordinary campaign, losing only once and dominating all of our rivals. Promotion League - Such was our dominance in the main league, this was a forgone conclusion. Promotion League Fixtures - Our good form continued as we continued winning. Pre Season Friendlies - We had an undefeated pre season campaign against some strong opposition. Squad - We actually have one fewer player than last year as Rashid Idris retired. Squad Dynamics - Lovely, just lovely. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - There is still no youth academy. Finances - Whilst we are still in the red, the increased prize money in the top division, together with potential domestic cup runs, should help somewhat. Key Players João Sequeira - The most reliable player in the team, the defender was exceptional. Estenislao López - Andorran defender who had a sublime campaign. Leandro Quinhentas - Now playing in his rightful position as the main striker following Rashid Idris' retirement, the Portuguese was ok though had a long barren spell. Mauro Oliveira - Right back who continues to deline. Iván Higuera - Defender who is playing so much better than he should be. Next Season Survive somehow. We were favourites for relegation from the second tier, so our chances will be slim. JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 3 – 2024/25 Youth Intake Preview The season has continued to go well for us, after winning against Felgueiras 1932 we managed to pick up another three straight league wins, allowing us to have claimed four straight league wins in the league. We did get beaten by Belenenses SAD in the Taça de Portugal, but we then ended up losing four straight league games in a row, before we beat Penafiel to ensure we could keep ourselves doing well. With almost half of the season gone, we have managed to ensure we are looking like a side that it bang in the middle of the table. I'm happy we can claim this at least, since being able to be as far away from the relegation zone as possible is important to me, even if we are only this high because of 7 wins and 8 defeats so far this season. We also got given our youth intake preview and I am excited about it, a new centre-back is really important to me, and if we can train the attacking midfielder to be a central midfielder, that is really useful too. Having another striker is good too, especially if we lost one of our current strikers. For a deeper look into all of the goals and where the stats for the games we played, why not check out my latest video. I promise it's worth it. Koetzer
Ungmennafélag Njarðvíkur – season 2030 Amazing season, we secured the title with three games to go! I hoped to finish it unbeaten, but neighbours from Keflavik (not listed as local rivals, but their stadium is based just 1 km from our old one) handed us the only league defeat this year. Cups – disappointing semi-final defeat, but we had to concentrate on other tournaments at that moment. Conference League – couldn’t get past the first opponents again, thanks to Sigurbjörnsson who was sent off for a stupid tackle when we were 1-0 ahead in Croatia Transfers – a third choice goalkeeper became our most expensive player so far And one future transfer, sad but inevitable. Hermannsson, who was listed 49th in the latest wonderkids list, didn’t have the extension option in his contract and wanted to leave, so I only could postpone the transfer for the next year with a friendly and 50% clause. Milan offered a bit better money but refused to wait, so he’s moving to Portugal soon. Squad stats – Ulfarsson set the new club record in assists, while Þorsteinsson matched his own best goalscoring result. The overall squad quality is improving, and I hope we’ll be able to cover Hermansson’s departure next season. Youth intake Steingrímsson *30a | Kristinsson *30b | Hallgrímsson *30c | Magnússon *30d | Pétursson *30e | Ólafsson *30f | Vasiliauskas *30g Seems like we got a potential replacement for Hermannsson (not an equal one of course, but Steingrímsson already played for the first team and actually his goal was decisive in our championship game!) and two good prospects who can play on the left wing (currently the weakest position in our first 11). Our continental performance is still not good enough to make profit, but next season we’ll have an easier champions route in qualifying, so can hope for better results. The second league title boosted our reputation (now we are second in Iceland, only behind KR) and average attendance. Also we had a new record of 15 players called up to the national teams, including the first ever foreign call-up (well, not a big surprise as Lithuania simply doesn't have a big pool of newgens here).
Pauldinho7
Beira Mar 2037/38 season review: We started the season with another big job offer, this time from Barcelona, which we inevitably turned down. We also had our No.1 Juan Maldonado named as European Golden boy so here's a shot of his stats: The youth intake came and although I'm hoping to upgrade my HOYD the intake was pretty good and these are the top prospects: We won the league for a third time in a row, our second half of the season was incredible again after some wavy patches before xmas: In the CL we finally made it out of the group stages - being a first seed helped my group draw, and we went on to cruise past Dortmund in the knockouts. We then beat Liverpool at home in the quarter final first leg, but Anfield was a bridge too far and we came unstuck So close but yet so far to go! Somehow Watford made it into the quarter finals as well We also had these three in the top 50 wonderkids.....

XaW
XaW - Africanos Bragança - Season 2024/25 - Campeonato Nacional Prio Table | Promotion Stage | Squad | Transfers | Finances For the first time ever we avoided the relegation stage after we had a strong initial phase. We finished 2nd place with a single point down to two other teams. So a very close call, but we clinched it on the final day with a draw away to Fafe. In the promotion stage we were a bit out of our league, and finished rock bottom in our group. We only won two of our 14 games in the latter stage, so the step up from the initial phase was quite big. Still, it's a step in the right direction, and I hope we can do the same in the coming years. Our youth facility upgrade was done before the season started, and I've asked for more, but no cigar yet. I did get an improvement in both junior coaching and youth recruitment, and those improvements are really good and should continue to give us better players in the coming years. Taça de Portugal: We beat Estarreje before we managed to keep 2nd tier side Feirense to a draw through extra time before we finally felt defeat on penalties. Player of the season: Wilson Fernandes 24f - The young defender had a great season for us. Surprisingly few problematic attributes for his age. Youth intake: Another strong intake, and it seems to show our investments are worth it. Carlos Tavares 25a is a very nice winger. Pacey, good crossing and nice technique is a rare combination at this level. Spoiler Cape Verde watch: Trophy cabinet N/A
davenumber40
Apologies if this has already been discussed, I couldn't find it and I thought this was the place to ask. Has anyone noticed heavy repetition of personalities in the intake? I have a fairly professional HOYD and basic youth recruitment. In my first intake I had 6 unambitious and 6 low determination out of 16 players. Maybe it's my recruitment but I don't think I've ever seen personalities this bad across the board in an intake. My plan was to play a youth heavy save but I want to make sure there isn't an issue before I get too far into it.

Makoto Nakamura
2035/36 Youth Candidates Could we finally have someone to knock Robert Tichý (YP3i) & Václav Jaroš (YP1c) out of the team? I must say, I'm disappointed with the personalities though, I've had the same staff for three years now so feel they should be bringing through more players with better personalities.

Crealk
Dronninglund IF (Season 5 Youth Intake) A model citizen! 😲 And a Professional. Nice! No one is really going straight into the lineup, but at least the personalities are getting better? Well.. Hmm, this is still a really bad intake overall, but he is a nice player to have regardless. Teamwork, bravery and aggression seems to be the key attributes for this intake. I dont know what's really up with all these aggressive youth players 😂
The Gold Guard
OFK Beograd - Year 16 (2037/38) Domestic | Continental | Squad | Season XI | Overall XI A mighty Threepeat! We played tremendously over multiple campaigns. Super proud! Serbian domestically has improved slightly with a puffed-chest continental presence in all three competitions which has allowed the league to get stronger and thrive. Despite all the imports coming in from all over the world to other clubs, a lot of players are being sold out additionally which is harsh for a club like mine where I am losing my best-of-the-rest but cannot bring anyone in at all. I think next season will be tough to repeat one more for four. The Champions League was commendable and despite finishing rock bottom, I think it was a blessing in disguise to help finish off the domestic league in style. Our youth are maturing at a good pace which I feel has benefitted from the facility upgrades. Lots of players who are fringe are getting sent out to better loan options which in return brings a great long-term production line for our first team squad. I love the position in which I am in currently. Time to boost the finances to sway players to stay in the future… Winning this challenge will happen. It is just a matter of when! Transfers | Finances We got raided harder than most years and I think this trend will only continue. I am okay with this for now as we keep bulking the finances. If we keep selling one or two prospects each year for good coin and keep getting the prize money from competitions we will be an unstoppable force in the near future. Youth Squad | Preview | Intake 1 | Intake 2 I have a great thing going on here and I have to say it, and I hope I don’t jinx it: I don’t think we could have a ‘bad intake’ ever again. I definitely think there are better classes than others but each year I am guaranteed at least someone or something to provide me either a financial or competitive gain. This is the case for this year. I have quite the production line going as you can obviously see. The loan system works tremendously well as I have decided to follow the Chelsea model. It's a sink or swim approach and only the strongest survive and the weakest get sold. I won't be able to compete with the other clubs who are in the U19 league or have a B-team so this is the only way I can keep up. Notable Prospects: Svetozar Nikolic (38A) | Mirza Kovac (38B) Healthy Crops: Kjell Steegmans (34B) The Belgian-Serb made an instant impact being a handy playmaker and commanding the middle of the park. He provides a different flavour that can be tough to replicate in future intakes so I hope he sticks around. Sasa Vukovic (30C) Mr. Reliable. I feel the heartbreak eventually coming where I have to move him on but he can do no wrong in my eyes even if he can’t make the moves in the Champions League. A great domestic league legend. I hope I can convince him to be an impact sub and stick around. Zoran Nikolic (35A) He remained with me until the end of this season but I don’t think I can hold much longer no matter what money I throw in front of him. This transfer window upcoming has lots of big clubs interested and I won't get in the way of it. Thank you for the memories Zoki <3 Bojan Jakovljevic (31A) & Ivan Jovic (30E) J&J - my reliable defensive duo. Always doing great in the domestic game but evidently don’t have enough in them to make it in the continental front. It will be hard to eventually say goodbye to them whenever it may be. For the time being, I am content with their journey. Nikola Milosevic (37A) Claimed the top spot in-between the sticks and I can’t see that changing any time soon. I want this boy to play 1000+ games for me! Sasa Pejcic (33G) My new captain of the club. He has slotted in the wings perfectly and I hope he enjoys his tenure leading the squad. Came out of nowhere to be quite honest and definitely flew under the radar but now he is loud and proud amongst the team leaders.
Daddy
2027-2028 Review: Young Boys dominating. Made some tweaks towards end of season and while not enough to move out of relegation playoffs got more draws and closer losses. Including a draw against the Young Boys. However, it was a 9th place finish which meant: Started the first leg down 2 fast. Came back to draw. The second leg went to extra time and we knocked in a late goal to stay up another season. I was able to use the money made from the season to get another upgrade. Transfers: Heim was my starting goalkeeper. He had a release clause that was met. Not much I can do there. What really hurts is the hot goalie prospect I wanted to take his spot refuses to sign. No one would make an offer for him. I even got desperate and offered for $0 with a sell on clause just to not lose him on a free. No dice. Now that his contract expires in a few days look who is interested: Youth Intake: Another really good intake. Really need some players to take that next step so we can start competing. 2028-2029 Preview: I'm a little apprehensive about staying up again. Losing our first and second choice keeper and the fact that the team just doesn't score. I did however make a fresh set of kits using Kitbasher. I didn't go hardcore in depth with all the sponsors etc, but I feel a team in the top division at least has a couple of legit sponsors. However, I stayed away from luxury cars and investment firms etc that would be more likely to advertise on a larger club. FC Rapperswil-Jona does have Nike kits so I kept that, and went with two of the three designs being solid and the home kit being only slightly "fancy." Start moving up the ranks and hitting Europe and maybe the team earns fancier designs and larger sponsors (just my attempt at some realism to my own entertainment).
SOStriker
After only 12 points in 34 league games we finally get the message. Better late than never! I might try this again with (hopefully) an easier team to start.

Makoto Nakamura
I may have caved and I'm now holidaying in Scotland, hoping to have either Whitehills or New Elgin finish bottom of the McBookie North Second Division. XaW
XaW - Africanos Bragança - Season 2025/26 - Campeonato Nacional Prio Table | Promotion Stage | Squad | Transfers | Finances We keep improving, but we are still a few players away from promotion, I think. The strikers are probably the position we have the most need for. Our options are not horrible, but they are a bit lacking compared to the best teams in the league. We reached the promotion stage again this season after a good initial phase were we finished 2nd again. The improvements showed in that we didn't finish bottom of the promotion stage this time around. Still, we were quite far away from a realistic chance of promotion yet. No improvements to the club this season, in fact the training facilities got downgraded! But the board agreed to more licenses. I completed the Continental C, and are current working on B. Taça de Portugal: We beat Mirandela before we lost to Louletano in the 2nd round. Player of the season: Wilson Fernandes 24f - He is the best player at the club, I think, and had another very strong season. Youth intake: A really good intake with some very good players! The markings of a playmaker if I ever saw one. The Cape Verdean Xavi! Spoiler Cape Verde watch: Trophy cabinet N/A

Sanno11
Denbigh Town F.C - Season Summary 2024-2025 Squad | Finance | Transfers | Facilities JD Cymru Premier A brilliant second season in the JD Cymru Premier. We started with 6 wins out of 7 and looked good against any team but TNS. We maintained our form until the league split. In the Championship phase we held our own, winning enough games to defend our third place spot. This season the starting line up was much more settled, we just have rotation at LB and LW, where we are weakest. An original squad member Jacob Phelps was the key man this season, scoring 28 and assisting 10 in all competitions, he is tall and fast and at our level causes problems for most teams. I hope to finish in the top 3 again next season. Our qualification for Europe again, should boost our finances again, we are not ready for the competition proper, but even one or two wins would be a great achievement for this squad. Euro Cup II We made our debut in Europe this season. We faced an unknown quantity from Armenia. In the first leg in Armenia, we managed to scrape a 4-4 draw, it was a chaotic game and I was relieved at the final whistle. The home leg was brilliant and had late drama. With them down to 9 men in extra time we stole a winner. We we drawn against a Romanian team in the next round, Rapid. They took care of us fairly easily. This brief adventure netted us 500k. Welsh Cup We had a charmed run to the final where we beat Llanelli 4-0. I won't pretend the early exit of TNS is what made this achievement possible. Still, it adds another trophy to the cabinet, the first Welsh Cup of the club's history I believe. Youth Intake A relatively weak intake this season, but again still 10 players with potential. I'll give the tagged players a chance in the first team, the rest will have to train well and wait for a chance. Brendan York (25a) Ieuan Gibbon (25b) Tomos Leonard (25c) Club overview The income from our Europe debut paid for 2 x youth recruitment improvements, along with youth and training facilities. Our reputation has grown and now we're considered the 4th biggest team in Wales, which is great this early in the challenge.
