Popular Post XaW
XaW - Avenir Beggen - Season 2024/25 - Éierepromotioun Squad | Transfers | Finances After the strong season last time around, we managed to up our game quite a bit, even if we lost our top scorer on a free during pre-season. We actually only finished with 4 points more than last season, but it was enough to win the league and gain promotion. Finally I managed to tighten the defense as we only conceded 19 goals in the 30 league games this season. This has been an issue for me through all the saves I've played so far in FM22, so I've really happy with this. I'm also quite looking forward to competing in the top tier next season, especially after the amazing youth intake we got this season. More on that further down. More and more youngsters are part of the team now. Alessandro Ruppert 23b are now a regular, and he upped his goalscoring this season, but got a few fewer assists. Elbrus Gystarov 24b became the left inside forward of choice, more or less due to the lack of options, but he had a good debut season. Jeff Wagner 24a also had to become a first choice defender since we had so few, but he took the level in a much better way than I had feared. We got more improvements approved this season and we got repaid for it in the intake! Coupe de Luxembourg: We beat Wiltz 71 and Koeppchen before we lost to Swift Hesperange in the quarter final. Youth intake: That's what I'm talking about! Excellent intake and it's down to the investments we've made. This is simply amazing! Tom Thill 25a is a promising left winger. Lacking a bit here and there, but a decent talent. Arsène Walter 25b is a more classic winger. A nice talent. Ben Sacras 25c is finally a good central defender. Really happy about this guy. A left back with pace? Unheard of at this level! Robert Mutum will probably be our first choice already next season. Anthony Risch 25e looks like a really good playmaker, and is one of the best talents in a good bunch. Daniel Bonvini 25f is a really well rounded winger. Thinking about making him our new IF on the left. Patrick Wagner 25g is a very speedy winger, but needs a lot of work. Pedro Martins 25h is set to be our next goalkeeper in the future seasons. Also a nice free kick attribute... Talented midfielders are always needed, and Lex Simon 25i fits that bill. Popular Post thomas_e
I have to show off Mohamed Ouni at the winter break in the Bundesliga. How good is this guy and its still well over 6 months until he turns 18! 5 goals and 6 assists in 16 games, mostly playing as a box to box midfielder (CM on attack duty last three games). 18 months after breaking into the first team he has become our best performing player. He also performs best in training, week after week. Let's hope we can hold on to this guy as we are losing another key player when his contract expires at the end of the season. This is the kind of player that can push a team to a European spot. Edited December 30, 2021 by thomas_e
Popular Post JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 8 – 2029/30 Season Review For an end of season run, this defensive work was truly some of the best I've ever experienced as a manager of Beira-Mar so far. 5 clean sheets in 6 matches, and 9 points gained in those matches to boot. It was a nice end of the season. We did ironically finish with the same number of points this season as we did last season. With the same number of wins, draws and defeats, and in the exact same position as last season too. If there is one thing you can say about us, it's that we are consistent. During the season, we got offered job interviews by a few big clubs and it makes me wonder how an earth they saw me as a good candidate, but it is rather flattering. Still, as things stands, we've constantly in mid-table and things are looking like we are steadily improving at a nice pace. Our latest video where we review the season in more detail is links down below if you are interested in watching that as well. Popular Post jepze
Jepze - Edinburgh College - Season 2022/23 Squad | Transfer | Finances After my first game crashed, i looked at the game, @Makoto Nakaruma is playing right now in Scotland. Because of this, I started in Scotland instead. Edinburgh College was the worst team in East of Scotland Conference X in the first season, I took over and got a good 8th place in my first season. It was hard, because we just got 13 players, where 2 of them were goalkeepers, but otherwise we got 4 defenders, 5 midfielders and 2 strikers. One of the strikers was very bad, so we played with the same 11 nearly the whole time, but injuries and suspension made me use some greyed out players. First Youth intake was fine. No really good players, men some of them going directly into the starting formation, but the others will fill the bench with more quality than the greyed out players

JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 9 – 2030/31 Season Preview So the beginning of the new season has seen us perhaps we could be now be a lower mid-table side. Perhaps we could be looking like we can progress further up the table than the 11th place finishes we've had in the last two seasons. In my latest video, we had our first cup game of the season and compared our squad to the other squads in the league. GylfiAsCharged
Okay, time to give this a go. Three key players immediately want to let their contracts expire in a couple weeks' time, including our only senior goalkeeper. Not an ideal start, especially given how weak our new number one is... The squad is pretty threadbare except up front, where we have three strong options. I'll be keeping things very simple with a 4-4-2 in order to get two of our strikers on the pitch at all times, and Tyler Harvey is a decent midfield option too so I could include all three in my lineup. As a newcomer to the challenge I guess I can't expect a better starting squad than this, and I'm grateful for the strength up front. I guess I just need to scrap for survival for a few years as we try and build some squad depth from future youth intakes. A factor which may prove an obstacle to investment in youth infrastructure is the board's insistence on building a new stadium in their five year plan, I'm hoping I can get a few improvements in alongside the new ground. Popular Post Flashman\'s School Days
Tacuarembó Fútbol Club - Season Review 2026 Manager Characteristics - Attributes - Transfers - Fixtures 1 - Fixtures 2 Campeonato Uruguayo - 4th A one place increase from last season but it could have been even better with only managing to draw on the last day of the season letting MC Torque pip us to third on goal difference. This means that we get into the Copa Libertadores but enter at the earliest round instead of getting in at the second round. This means that we will have to fight harder to make as much prize money as we've got this season and last. We only got four more points this season but we lost four less games so that is a big positive. In the opening stage we were pretty inconsistent but somehow ended up fourth in that, unfortunately in the intermedio tournament we were destroyed by horrible fixture congestion due to the 2026 World Cup so we only finished midway in that group. We then started the closing stage with a loss to Nacional before going on a brilliant unbeaten run and only losing one more game in the season, getting third spot in the closing stage table. Copa Sudamericana - Second Round We were able to make a step further than last season easily finishing top of the group before being drawn against relatively strong opposition in the second round. We lost 4-2 in the first leg away from home, 2-1 up at half time and then we had a chance to make it 3-1 with our left winger just needing to cross to either of the two strikers for a tap into an open goal, instead he overhit it to a defender, they broke and scored. Then we gave away two penalties to really kill the game, then in the second leg it was a pretty close game with us maybe just edging it but they scored a long range goal that wasn't even hit hard but my keeper couldn't get down as it went in the bottom corner. The most annoying thing is that they then went out to a team we finished above in the group stage last season. Squad A settled side with very few changes although last season's mainstay Washington Malaquín 23a was sold to Burnley for £450k and 50% of next sale, unfortunately he hasn't yet made an appearance for them almost a year later despite them being in the Championship. Federico Pintado became the main keeper this season as Rodrigo Dos Santos kept making horrible blunders, he isn't the best goalkeeper but I haven't yet had any decent ones come through the intakes. Mateo Charamoni continued being brilliant at centre back and Fernando Céspedes 22b continued his great development at left back, finally becoming rated as a Campeonato Uruguayo player. Bruno Bica got 10 assists from right back which is equal to the amount he's managed in all his other seasons combined. Gustavo Coitto 24a came into the first team as he's really highly rated and made some decent development but his performances left something to be desired. Federico Rivero 22e added 13 goals to his 16 of last season but had a 16 game barren run in the middle of the season, thankfully he chipped in with 9 assists. Santiago Duarte 25a came into the team when we had fixture congestion and managed 7 goals contributions from 9 starts. The main man this season though was undoubtedly Pablo Bouza 23d who broke the single season goalscoring record with 17. Youth Intake As is customary I was told I had another Golden Generation but again I wasn't particularly impressed, we seem to have a lot of good potential strikers but not positions like wingers or centre backs. My HoYD retired in the middle of the season so it will be interesting to see how my new Professional HoYD does in bringing through players. Nicolás Müller 26b looks like a handy centre mid and Jonathan Faría 26c looks like he could join the group of good strikers we have along with the top rated player of the intake Jaime Zeballos 26a. Finances Finances looking relatively healthy on the face of it but we are losing quite a bit each month now with the youth setup costing £168k a month since we got both Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment up to Exceptional. I've completed all my coaching badges so I will just have to bide my time for when the prize money comes in to try and get more facility upgrades, although I think the thing that is holding us back is our stadium, not only do we not have season ticket holders but because we near enough sell the stadium out every game, we don't have the spare capacity to accommodate Nacional and Penarol fans when they come to town and also we aren't able to host continental games so our attendances for those are about half of our league matches. The £450k from Washington Malaquín 23a gave us a good boost, I would have tried to get more but I risked losing him for free and it also meant I was able to get the 50% sell on clause in there. My board have negotiated a buyout of that clause for £1.29M and I'm really tempted to cash it in since he hasn't yet played a game.

DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2022/23 St. Oliver Plunkett Season Summary An excellent season with the league title and promotion secured on the final day. Season Details League Table - We were always in the top two and moved to the top spot with three games to go and never looked in danger of not securing the league title. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - A quality campaign where a win at promotion rivals Saintfield United on the final day secured the league title and promotion to the sixth tier. McComb's Coach Travel Intermediate Cup - A narrow loss away to fourth tier Newtowne in the second round put paid to any chances we had of a cup run this year. Pre Season Friendlies - A good pre season where we only lost twice, giving us terrific preparation for the new season. Squad - Our youth are so good. Squad Dynamics - With so many new players arriving with the youth intake, the team cohesion is not very good at all. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - An extraordinary intake, with goalkeeper Jason Kelly YP23A1 already the best player at the club. Finances - We are in the black...though only just. Key Players Craig Green - It was a memorable campaign from the striker, as he scored plenty of goals. Neil Waide YP23G7 - A surprising hit, the left winger has performed well from the start. Eoin McKeon YP23B2 - Retrained as a central midfielder, he has adapted with aplomb. Pat Gaffney YP23O15 - The right winger was exceptional in the limited time he has been in the first time. Jason Kelly YP23A1 - The goalkeeper is regarded as the best player at the club, though he has struggled somewhat. Next Season I want another promotion. BustaRaymes
*FM20* Molodechno-DYuSSh-4 2033 - Season 14 Belarussian Highest League Our best season so far! We were contending for 2nd place until the end, and the 4th place finish is great. We're depending on Minsk (or maybe Brest, but I assume if they win it the place goes to the cup runner-up) to go into Europe, cup is resuming from QF onwards in March next year. Transfers Squad The best news of the season may be that Sachivko, Petrov, Belyavskiy, Loshankov, Kondratjev, Maschenko and Lebedev all signed 4-year contracts without any clauses after this season. Callups throughout the season were for Sachivko, Petrov and Lebedev, although they didn't feature a lot. The national team is developing rapidly with multiple players in the big leagues. Petrov had another strong season as the leader of our defence. Regularly receiving callups. Frantskevich turned out to be the one playing Szumski out of the starting lineup and he had a great season as a DLP, where he was a defensive CM in the past. He's not the most talented attribute-wise and it took a long time to get him off his Unambitious personality, but persevering on giving him playing time paid off and it shows in his great ratings. Lebedev had his first callup. Didn't feature, but it shows how close he is. It was his second season of tearing up the league and he still has more in him at 21. Beautiful outing for Frantskevich in the rating department as well, especially seeing as he is far from the best player attribute-wise. Youth intake Not great, but it could be worse. I'm getting stricter and stricter now that the chance of losing players and needing to fill spots is low. Polyakov and Emeljanov were signed, Luzan was ignored for being Unambitious. Polyakov popped to 4-5* potential. We're ok with Chichev for some years to come but with him turning 28 soon, Polyakov had a good chance of becoming a regular. Emeljanov could be turning into someone, if he can lose the Unambitious personality soon. Finances We had a takeover, but it didn't pan out as I hoped. The new chairman is not as ambitious as hoped and he declined every attempt at improving youth, facilities or feeder clubs. A few coaching badges was all. As there's next to no prize money here, we are still leaking and need Europe to ever hope for some spending money. Next season I can only hope this season means we can secure a spot among the big clubs. Media still predicts us fighting relegation so it won't be easy. We got a surprise as 19 year old midfielder Filipovich emerged as a 4-5* talent. 3 years ago he came through as 3-4* so he's really a bonus player. Last but certainly not least: This community got me back into really putting time in a save, and reporting it is way more fun than I used to remember from years ago. I hope you all have a great, healty and succesful - in FM ánd in life - 2022! Cheers guys

OlivierL
Africanos Bragança - Portugal - Youth Intake - Class 2028 Preview A good intake but not what i expected after getting a preview with five 'a's. Popular Post XaW
XaW - Avenir Beggen - Season 2025/26 - BGL Ligue Squad | Transfers | Finances We survived! And that pretty much the goal for this season. As it turns out, the difference between the two tiers in Luxembourg is quite big. When our defense held up so great last season, I had high hopes this time too, but that got obliterated when we faced Swift Hesperange and got 5 goals smashed in our faces. Even so, we were just about safe from relegation the most of the season. Some good wins here and there were enough to leave Wiltz 71 and Berdenia Berbourg far behind. From then on we just tried to maintain a gap down to Hostert and Dudelange who were fighting to avoid the relegation playoff. So while we get occationally thumped by the best teams, we should manage to stay off relegation in the coming seasons, at least I hope. With the amazing influx of good youngsters last season, many more were part of the first teams this season. Ben Sacras 25c took a spot in the heart of the defense with Robert Mutum 25d on the left back. Anthony Risch 25e and Lex Simon 25i both played a lot in midfield, while Tom Thill 25a, Daniel Bonvini 25f, Alessandro Ruppert 23b, and Patrick Wagner 25g contributed further up the pitch. Coupe de Luxembourg: We beat Wiltz 71 before losing to Yellow Boys in the Eight final. Youth intake: I'm loving these intakes! Some extremely talented players. Oh, this guy, I mean, THIS GUY! He is such a beast, and I've tied him down to a 6 year deal! I also want to highlight Eldin Dragolovcanin 26d since I really need talented defenders. And Paulo Alves 26f is a very promising striker with loads of pace. Trophy cabinet Éierepromotioun - 1 (2024/25)
Makoto Nakamura
2048/49 End of Season Review It wasn't to be. TheWillsy
South Shields season 1: 2022-23 A great start to the challenge, we had a rough start but the squad here was a lot better than I expected, and after a really good run we shot up into the playoffs and finished in 3rd. We eased past Gateshead 5-2 in the playoff semi, and then beat Brackley 4-1 in the final. Promotion in the first season! Our form at the end of the season was brilliant, our narrow 442 diamond was lethal on the counter and Darius Osei's pace meant he scored a ton at this level. The preview was 5 stars and I was really looking forward to the players: The actual intake was excellent, unfortunately the personalities were mostly poor, the top three were all unambitious or casual, but there a few players that were immediately added to the first team squad. Unfortunately we didn't get any money from a big cup tie, but we were able to upgrade the youth coaching and recruitment twice(!). I am loving my chairman so far!

Tush
I've decided to have another go in my home country Slovakia with the same team as last year - FK Inter Bratislava (founded in 1940) They've had some good moments in the past but due to financial problems they were forced to start from the scratch at the bottom in the 5th national division in 2010/2011. I'm here to return the national glory and attempt to gain continental glory aswell! Manager profile | Squad / U19 | Club general info | Facilities | Finances Some thoughts: Wow, looking at the squad this is going to be a tough one, I have whopping 12 real players counting normal and U19 squads - the intake will have to save me, the youngsters will get their chance pretty early it seems As usual, the money in Slovakia doesn't go into football so I am ready to go straight into red balance in first season and we will remain there until potentially get into european competitions, this is going to be a long ride Let's get to it then, can't wait for what challenges await me!

It gave me hope that things can go well. What didn't give me hope was our run of form in September, where we failed to pick up a league win. Despite that however, we are still in the top half of the table after 8 matches, but we are only 3 points clear of the relegation playoffs, so I do not feel like our season is off to the best of starts, despite how many points we have so far. Still, we're still in both cups for once, and we've only lost 2 games so far this season. If you want to see the goals we scored and the match stats for all of the games so far this season, my latest video has that covered. LazyBandit
FC Bern Season 1 (2024/25) My first attempt at this challenge this year brings me back to Switzerland and to the capital city Bern. Founded in 1894, 4 years before fellow Bern club and rival BSC Young Boys, FC Bern was one of the more prominent Swiss clubs of the early 20th century. The clubs greatest accomplishment is winning the Och Cup, a predecessor to the Swiss Cup, in 1921. The club were also champions of Switzerland in 1923, but were ultimately denied their title due to an unregistered player. It's going to take a while but one day we'll be back at the top of Switzerland. We start our save in the Swiss Second League Interregio Group 3, the 5th tier. Starting Squad We're thin pretty much everywhere and only have 2 players to come off the bench, so this season is definitely going to be a challenge. All of our best players are defenders, so it looks like defensive football is the way to go. Intake Preview Not exactly super promising but right now we'll take anybody. We're getting some wingers which is nice, but we could really use a striker. Youth Intake Not bad, but not great. There are some pretty decent personalities in here though, which I like. I signed everyone which gives us more players, as well as a little more flexibility with tactics. Bekim Oehen is the only one who will immediately go in to the starting lineup. Bekim Oehen - Jean-Pierre Zaugg - Johan Schwab - Marc-Henri Brauchli Countries: 6/227 (2.64%) Final League Table As I predicted this year was of a bit a challenge. We were forced to play defensively for most of the year which meant we struggled at times to score goals. The board also threatened to sack me at one point, but I convinced them to give me another month, just in time for our intake. With a new batch of players we were able to switch it up a little bit and start attacking some, which allowed us to gain enough points to ensure survival and keep my job. Conclusion With a larger group of players we have a better base with which to tackle next season. My goal is to continue developing the players we have and gain promotion within the next 2 seasons. My attempts to convince the owner to upgrade anything this year were all unsuccessful, but I believe he can be swayed with positive results.
Popular Post libbyshuss
2059/60 (season lost count) Premier League Season Summary Our best season yet. League - we were in a title race from the very beginning, even going top a couple of times. We could never capitalise though, losing whenever we had a chance to add a bit of space between us and the rest. In real life, we were up there only because we were outperforming our xG metrics and everyone else was having a dodgy season. So even after a couple of dodgy results we managed to find ourselves like this with only 8 games to play:- It was a bit of a surprise to be honest as we'd not been that great. The next 4 games could make or break our season though, including away at Spurs and Man United. It was then that my best two players got themselves injured for 3/4 weeks. We were brilliant at spurs, winning 2-0, rubbish at Man Utd, losing 3-1. We then scraped a couple of hard earned wins to leave the table like this:- It was gonna be a matter of who blinks first. We were relatively lucky with our run in, 4 easily winnable games. And win them all we did! Man Utd and Man City both slipped up but Arsenal didn't, pipping us to the title by one point. FA Cup - we got a tough 3rd round draw away to Man Utd, which we dutifuly lost Champions League - We got quite a tough group with Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkausen and Besiktas. We were brilliant, manaing to beat Real Madrid 4-0 and breezing through the group stage. Round 1 sent us to Germany and Bochum who we easily got past. The quarter final was against Manchester City. My best two players got themselves injured before the games and as a result we struggled, narrowly losing both legs. Players Most of our success can be linked to our two superstar world class players:- Emmanuel Odita 52A - lynchpin of both ours and England's midfield, an absolute star! Bransislav Mancic 54A - Only the 41 goals! He even had a little bad run of 5 games without a goal. He was the main reason we exceeded all those xG parameters. With those two I got a chance of completing this challenge! Karol Kovacik 52B - ex-wonderkid and a huge disappointment. One thing I like (weirdly) about FM22 is even a wonderkid isn't a sure thing of making it. And there's 2 and 3 star potentials who do. It used to be too easy a few games ago as all you needed was some 4 star potentials and they were guaranteed to come good. This time though there's no guarantees - I like that! even though it leads to disappointments like Kovacik. He even had the temerity to complain after I dropped him for being crap! Youth I'm quite liking how dyanmic youth intakes and ratings are as well. Makes it a little more realistic/difficult. Shame the previews are pretty meaningless though.... So I got this as a preview:- Looks really good, right? But then the intake came in and I was a little disappointed:- Not a great range of potential there really. the top 3 are ok, and I guess 3 star potential is ok. But then..... They played the trial game against my U18s and the scholars announcement came in Suddenly I got two 4 star prospects out of nowhere! Carlos Gomes jumped from 3 to 4 star and now I'm interested! If I keep Mancic this fella won't get near the first team as a striker so I'm thinking of re-training him as a centre middie. I could do with a good one there, and he could be good. Plus, the other 4 star prospect.... Career

I had few expectations there as Lourosa and Belenenses are much better. This was the situation after 4 match days, I still had to go to Sintrense and then at home against Lourosa: We won at Sintrense which was to be expected in our current form and Lourosa played equal against Belenenses. I had to win on the last matchday because Lourosa had a better goal difference in case of a draw. Barbosa 23B scored a great goal after i changed my tactic and secured the promotion ! We lost the Championship play-offs against Marinhense but that doesn't mean anything. Taça de Portugal: Lost again the third round against Montalegre U19 : Our U19 finished 2th in the second tier and finished third in the promotion stage.. so they got promoted to the first division U19 ! Key Players Again the same two key players : Pereira had a solid season at the back and Graça had a good season with 12 clean sheets. Academy graduate with most Appearances (This season) Tavares 27H had a great first season and he is our main midfielder and assisted 5. Miscellaneous & Finances No upgrades this season. Our balance is the only thing that is not growing at the moment, we are in deep red. In the second tier, you get 300k to participate but I don't see much prize money either, so it will remain a problem and a slowdown in our development. Aim for next season I can hold on to the whole core for next season and hope to add one or two good academy players from Class 28. Not getting relegated is the only goal for the next two seasons. Popular Post Daddy
Got bored quickly of the scouting/signing game! This time I'm trying in South America. c From what I was reading seems like the team had some financial issues and got booted down to lower leagues and has climbed back up to 2nd tier. Not a very deep squad (all players on entire roster are pictured), but they seem capable so hopefully it won't be a one and done. I won't pretend the purple colors didn't have something to do with me picking the team

Popular Post DrJones
Recreativo de Huelva 2028/2029 review A way better season than I expected but to be honest I actually think we deserved it. The development of the youngsters now when we are a la liga team is absolutely insane which I show you further down in this post. You all know what a 4th place in one of the top leagues mean, Champions League is coming to Huelva for the first time ever! Squad Key players Our new goalkeeper for the next twenty years I suppose. After being out on loan for a few years he really made the position his this season. This guy is absolutely nuts! We play him as a right back but really he plays like a attacking winger. Our little argentinian fox in the box, with better physicals i think we got the new Aguero here in Huelva. Youth Intake We have now come to a point in time when we really do not get players from the youth intake that just go straight into the first team, which is a little bit sad but also a sign of the progress we made. Jared Cervera though will probably get a few games next season. Vamos Recre!
Popular Post jepze
Jepze - Edinburgh College - Season 2023/24 A new season and before the league was done, we played our last game before Newburgh. Then we can just wait and see, hav the Newburgh game against the 3rd place will end. Squad | Transfer | Finances It was a good season in the league, but the cup runs were very bad, but we are still a terible club. We are figthing with a loan on 1,8 million DKK and pays around 18K a month. But maybe we are getting a new chairperson, who will pay out our debt, so we can get some money in the bank and can upgrade our facilities and youth coaching and recruiment. The second youth intake was not as good at the first. None of the players has first team potential, but the is potentials in the boys. The worst thing is, that we're still an amatuer club, so we are just training maximum 3 times a week and most of the times 1 day, so the players will not getting better because the training, so we need the players to be first team class when they come in to the club. The best of the players is Darren Neil. He is close to get a starting spot in the central defence. Manager statistics
JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 9 – 2030/31 Youth Intake Preview So October wasn't that good for us. We lost every game we could have done, and threw away a 2-0 lead against Feirense to lose 3-2. October we picked up some good points, while October feel miserable. The only silver lining being the 1-0 win against Gondomar. The table leaving us in 11th place after a horrid October and December didn't leave me feeling that comfortable, even if we are only 5 points clear of the relegation playoff zones, I need more from my side if we are to progress further into the upcoming seasons. So when I got given this youth intake preview and was promised 3 promising centre-backs, I suddenly realised just how desperate I was for more strength in the backline. We're weak and need to improve that area rather quickly. For more details of how badly we've been doing and the goals we have been conceding, feel free to watch my latest video. Popular Post fries
Sky Bet Championship 2035/36 (season 14) Season Summary Fine season. Gained exactly the same amount of points as last season. However we was far away from the play off spots. Ferguson was again best with the highest average rating with 7.37. Ahmad was again topscorer, with just 16 goals. He shared the position with my "new" striker Foukas who scored 15 and assisted 9 times in his first season not away on loan. Acheampong had a great season in the goal. Milby had a great season too. Mostly because I was able to learn him long flat throw ins despite his long throw stat is only 13. I think we scored around 10-15 goals from throw ins this season. For the first time I have some kind of depth in the midfield with 5 players above 3 stars. Furthermore I have one M(C) out on loan with 3 stars and one M(C) with 2.5 stars. My preview was mixed with 5 stars, but only 2 A's. But my intake was just okay with 3 elite talents where Turner is the best prospect. Before the season we sold Watts to Brentford. They paid the release clause fee which was not possible to remove from his contract. I made of course no incoming transfers but we had a lot of outgoing loans. Finances and Upgrades After the sale of Watts, the board agreed to upgrade the youth facilities and training facilities. My youth level was upgraded to level 2 before this season and my youth team managed to win their new league. Still no plans about expanding Broadhurst Park. Popular Post XaW
XaW - Avenir Beggen - Season 2026/27 - BGL Ligue Squad | Transfers | Finances A very strong season from the young lads. We actually hovered around midtable for the most season before we had a good end to push us up a few spots to finish in a very strong 5th place. I only hoped for another season where we would fight to avoid relegation, so this is a huge surprise for me. The biggest change has been a much improved defense. 15 less conceded goals is a really good metric for us, so we are clearly on the right path. This season we had even more youth players as part of the main squad. Simão Nova 26k took the spot in goal, and even scored 5 goals for us through the season. Our Chinese right back Song Jing 26g made the spot his own, while Robert Mutum 25d retained the other full back spot. In the middle of them Eldin Dragolovcanin 26d, Pol Schmitz 25e, and Ben Sacras 25c are fighting for the starting spots. In central midfield we have options in Steven Almeida 26b, Luís Jardim 26h, and Anthony Risch 25e, and finally up front and on the wings we have a plethora of talent with players like Daniel Bonvini 25f, Mathéo Tressy 26a, Tom Thill 25a, Yol Kiir 26j, and Paulo Alves 26f. Coupe de Luxembourg: We beat Differdange, Berdenia Berbourg, Swift Hespenge, and Grevenmacher to reach the final. There we dominated the match against Progrès Niederkorn, but struggled to find the net. They got a late red card, but the game went to extra time. Just after the restart they got another red and we played against 9 men, and a few minutes later we got a pen! Our goalkeeper stepped up and smashed it home to give us the lead. When we got a red of our own a bit later, I pulled back and just held on until the end to claim the trophy! And this also means we are going into Europe next season! Youth intake: We keep getting in some great intakes! Chris Sabotic 27c is a really well balanced full-back. Massimo De Smet 27f is right out of the playmaker-mould. Really like the look of Rick Pereira 27i. Big, physical brute for his age, and not bad at actual defending either. Popular Post WhiteCat33
RAAL La Louviere - Pro A 2043/44 (Season 22) Season Review Performance: 5th in Pro A At the start of the season we sold both our starting CMs and our first and second choice RB. So we were counting on two 16 year olds to fill out the CM roles and my depth in defense to cover the RB gap. The rookies struggled in the first two months of the season where we went 3-2-5. However, from there the team finally melded and we went on an absolutely unbelievable 15 Game Unbeaten Streak which is a club record! After that single loss in February, we then went on a 5 Game Win Streak until we hit the end of season period. Like every year the train crashed and burned at the end of the season with us going 1-4-3. This is where i get killed due to lack of depth of the team, while my starting XI is first class after that its all 2* U-19 players to rotate in. So again no Continental play, though we were tantalizingly close. I'm expecting to lose my GK next season as he's become the #1 for Belgium, and my best 2nd is my new 16 year old, so could be a rough couple years... Transfers & Finances: I already did a Transfer Update, so here are just screenshots and end of season finances. Notice even with selling 24.5M of players we are already back in the red. Surprisingly DIjon, who played Medved 33c as a regular starter, have already sold him at a loss to Fernbahce after one season while also paying a sizable chunk of his salary. Youth Academy HOYD This season I decided to make a change. I’ve had my HOYD Dominique Scholten since 2031 or 12 years. In particular I don’t like he has the “Park the Bus” tactical style which has meant we get big slow players, even though he has gotten us some solid talents over the years. The reason I haven’t upgraded from him in so long is that very few would take a salary this low, but I found a very interesting option who I’m going to try out. Fluid Counter Attack should get me faster players with good pressing attributes which should be better than the Park the Bus guy. Only two downsides are it will generate more DMs than CAMs but I’m okay with that and he isn’t good working with youngsters. I could be wrong, but that attribute I thought was more tied to him training players. And if that’s the case the other guy had no coaching ability so he’s already better He seems to be a player generated at the game start in Cologne's youth academy. He has had a career primarily in the Netherlands playing for multiple clubs and not surprisingly was a huge fixture of the Palestinian national team. He just retired this year and had a very respectable career. He will cap off a move I've been making to switch to almost all Professional or Fairly Professional personalities in my youth setup. YI Preview Youth Intake Poached Awards & Achievements Team Report, shows a fairly balanced team with my star Youth CM Dider Faure 42b & Belgian International GK Eduardo Salvi 33a both of whom will most likely be gone by the end of next season or the season after at the latest. Overall Best XI got a new member; now 7 of my starting players are in the best XI. #3 Belgium Pro League Top Goalscorer - Jordan Leroux 34b: 21 Goals & 7 Assists #2 Belgian Pro League Golden Glove - Edorado Salvi 33a: 34 Goals Against & 19 Shutouts Belgian Pro League Team of the Year: d Manager Thoughts We did better than I expected this year, but I'm disappointed how little of a difference selling 24.5M in players did for the finances. We will have to repeat that total next year just to get out of the red. Really though in 2 years that will happen as our Wonderkid will be heading out to bigger and better things and I expect to lose our GK. Once that happens it will be interesting to see how we do in the league as breaking in a 16/17 year old GK can be painful even with a seasoned Defensive line.
