DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2028/29 C. E. Jenlai Season Summary A season of heartbreak where the title was lost on the final day as we had to settle for a runners up spot. Season Details League Table - After a poor November, we were always in the top two and we were five points clear with two games remaining. It was not to be though and we lost the title on head to head record. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - A terrific start, followed by a dreadful November. The rest of the season we were brilliant, however. Copa Constitució - After our struggles in recent years in the cup, it was great to be back in the final. It was not meant to be though as we again lost out to U.E. Santa Coloma, who also pipped us to the league title. Pre Season Friendlies - With no European competition this season, we had an extended pre season campaign and it was pleasing to only lose three matches. Squad - The youth intakes continue to get stronger and as a result, we are getting better and better. Squad Dynamics - Surprisingly, our team cohesion is at is lowest ebb. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - Without question, it was our best intake to date, with goalkeeper Rafael Guijarro YP29B34 being the standout player. Finances - Despite no European football this season, we still made a small profit. Key Players José Juan Costa YP28J26 - It was another season of impressive performances from the right winger. Juan Manuel Maestre YP28D20 - The right back has formed a lethal partnership with José Juan Costa YP28J26 on the right hand side. Luis Alberto González YP28I25 - In his first campaign in the first team, the central midfielder was a sensation. Ignacio Díaz YP28M29 - Has the made himself an automatic selection at centre half. Gabriele Solà YP28B18 - I converted him into our starting left winger and he never let me down. Next Season Can we go one step further and secure our first ever league title? DazRTaylor
One reason I love playing the very low leagues, in this case the Isle of Man where I started in the tenth tier, is that you grow very attached to some players who are not very good. I currently have a midfielder (good for this standard but not cut out for professional football) who has played nearly 200 games for us and is still a teenager! I love having to use players I wouldn’t dream of signing if it was a normal save.
JLAB
Beira-Mar – Season 15 – 2036/37 Season Review So the league has seen us finish in 15th place, and Santa Clara managed to avoid relegation in the end. But after getting 11 points in our last 17 games it's been a miserable season. Thanks to the Ventura money, which keeps on coming in for the next two seasons, we managed to do two improvements in the youth facilities and two improvements in the training facilities. We are going to be able to keep improving the facilities going forward. Though that being said, I plan on taking a break from the save with the new winter update coming in. Still the latest video where we went over the season is going to be linked below. JLAB's YAC with Beira-Mar Part 107
The7Striker
Em 16/02/2022 em 17:50, Flashman\'s School Days disse: Tacuarembó Fútbol Club - Season 2032 Review Manager Characteristics - Manager Atrributes - Transfers - Fixtures 1, 2, 3 Campeonato Uruguayo - WINNERS! Copa CONMEBOL Libertadores - WINNERS! CONMEBOL Recopa Sudamericana - WINNERS! League and Recopa Sudamericana One of the most amazing seasons I think I've had in FM. We started the year with the U19s winning the Copa Libertadores U20 tournament, they would also go on to win the league and then the reserves also won the league. Meanwhile with the first team we started off the season playing the Recopa Sudamericana which is essentially the South American Super Cup. This was against the back to back reigning Copa Libertadores champions Sao Paulo, dropping the first leg at home, I was pessimistic about our chances in the away leg but we came out all guns blazing and were 4-1 up in the tie with 20 mins to go when they hit two goals in two minutes to bring the scores level on aggregate. I hadn't looked at the rules so I actually thought we were going to win on away goals so I was slightly surprised when it went to extra time where we able to grab a deserved winner. We were actually predicted a 4th placed finish by the media before the season began so we always had a chance of fighting for the title but with my abysmal record against Penarol, I wasn't completely confident and we ended up finishing second to them in the opening stage with us both only losing 1 game (All three of our defeats this season were 1-0 losses to MC Torque). In the Intermedio we were in a different group to Penarol and they really messed up, dropping points in three games, we only dropped points in one game to MC Torque but had overtaken them on the overall table. Unfortunately they started the closing stage like a bat out of hell and won every game until they played us, we stormed ahead to a 4-1 lead despite having never even managed to score 3 in a single game against them previously, they scored two really late goals to make me nervous but we held on and would only not win one more game in the league season to win the closing stage. This set up the playoff game between us which was a one legged affair, considering we had only recently beaten them for the first time we actually dealt with them so comfortably they only managed 4 shots with none on target. After the game I found out that this game meant we had won the league which was really confusing because every other season when there has been a playoff game there is also then a champions playoff two legged fixture and I had obviously not understood the reason for these games and playing the game on 2D I had missed the trophy presentation if there was one. Having looked back at previous playoffs, the champions playoff is only played if the overall champions lose that single playoff game. Copa Libertadores We began this campaign in the group stage because of our Copa Sudamericana win last season. We were in a group with Sport Boys, fellow Uruguayan side Liverpool and Rosario Central who we had traded wins with in two separate Copa Sudamericana campaigns. The group was quite easy apart from the Rosario games, where we both won our home games against each other but Liverpool did us a favour by drawing and beating them in their two games. Finishing top of the group we got drawn against another Argentine side in Godoy Cruz, winning well in the away leg but not managing to put them to the sword so we came away with only a 1-0 lead, we then took and early lead in the home leg before they got a red card on 26 mins and from there we absolutely destroyed them 7-0. This set up yet another meeting with Rosario Central and we again traded home wins but our 5-3 home win was enough to overcome a 2-1 defeat, we made the second leg harder than it needed to be, conceding 3 goals from 3 shots on target. That qualified us for the semi finals along with Nacional, Penarol and Sao Paulo, so three Uruguayan sides making it to the final four along with the team that had made the last three finals winning the last two. We were paired with Nacional who I held out more hope against than playing Penarol. We made a bit of a mess of the first leg away from home as we were 2-1 up, they had a man sent off before the hour mark and we managed to concede another to leave with a draw. The second leg was something I have never witnessed in FM, we scored in the sixth minute, they equalised in the ninth, we went ahead in the tenth and by the eighteenth we were 4-1 up and then just before half time we were 7-1 up with two players getting hattricks, we ended the half scoring an own goal to make it 7-2. Rarely have I seen one of my teams hit 7 goals in a game, let alone in the first half of a second leg of a continental semi final. It was a fairly quiet second half but Nacional were able to make it less embarrassing by getting two goals in the 89th and 93rd minutes. The Final Sao Paulo came through the other semi final for their fourth consecutive final appearance. We were pretty much at full strength going into the final and had a decent rest of 13 days before the game and we started a similar way to the second leg of the semi final, scoring within 2 minutes of the kick off. The game was going our way and they hadn't had a single shot before the 39th minute when we gave away a penalty after a long throw, they buried it to bring it level but that was only to be for a few minutes when we went back ahead with a well worked move for a tap in. We carried on the game looking comfortable and creating decent chances whilst Sao Paulo weren't really threatening but then they hit us with a back post header from a corner on the hour mark. Again the game continued very much in the same vein but we couldn't fashion another goal so it went into extra time, this proved to be just as fruitless for us and the game drifted to penalties. I had specifically trained penalties the day before the game because usually my teams are garbage in shootouts but it seemed to really pay off. Both teams were perfect for the first 8 pens before Sao Paulo missed their fifth, I thought "if we don't win it with this penalty then we won't win this shootout", so inevitably we missed it. Sao Paulo players seemed to keep coming up and slotting them away with ease until we saved their 8th penalty. Marcos Bica 30d, born in Tacuarembó and a Tacuarembó supporter stepped up to win it, and win it he did. Of the 12 players we used in the final, 9 of them were born in Tacuarembó which made it even more special. Squad The Copa Liberatores winning side: Federico Rivero 22e Ignacio Tambasco 29e Daniele Cavagna 29a Enrique Polo 28b Marcos Bica 30d Nicolás Müller 26b Fernando Céspedes 22b César Rodríguez 29c Mateo Charamoni Bruno Bica Leandro Prado 27i Nicolás Marichal 31a was the other player to play in the final, he finally became 17 this season so was able to start using him in the league as well. Pedro Borches 27h was unlucky to miss out but I felt that I had to play Mateo Charamoni as it will probably be his last hurrah and I owe him as club captain and consistently one of the best players. Armando Benítez was also unlucky to miss out but he hadn't been performing quite as well against the top opposition anymore. Guillermo Charamoni 30a started to get some proper first team game time this season and smashed in 11 goals in 12 league starts and 2 in 2 starts in the Copa Libertadores. Thankfully it didn't hamper us winning the CL but Santiago Noy 28e was bought for his release clause of £1.4M at the start of the season and then Adolfo Castro 29b went in the same fashion in the August for £1.6M, at that point he had 5 goals and 14 assists in 17 games so it was pretty gut wrenching to lose him for so little. Youth Intake Another Golden Generation with a lot of exciting players. Sebastián González 32f, Diego Mautone 32j, Jorge Garay 32c, José Peña 32e and the top guy Andrés Camacho 32a. Finances We made an absolute killing in prize money as well as over £3M in transfer fees this season and this is after three facility upgrades. We are still waiting to move into the new stadium which hopefully will only add to the positive bank balance. Future Plans Despite having completed the challenge I'm not really ready to leave the save or Uruguay, it's such a fun place to play and I really love the club so I think I will keep playing, maybe try and get to the Club World Cup and see how we fare in that. Manager History @darren1983 i belive this belongs to the hall of fame
Makoto Nakamura
2022/23 End of Season Review A good end but it wasn't to be, we finish a point behind Kyklades Cup winners Ellas Syrou and they went on to the promotion playoffs, which they won. Group B was won by Ano Syros who finished top in spite of a negative goal difference, however, they did not win the playoff. No best eleven due to us only having six players.
Popular Post OlivierL
Africanos Bragança - Portugal - Youth Intake 14 - Class 2036 Preview Again a very good intake with a good goalkeeper prospect , a good DL and again a very good DC. and don't know how we will use him but also a good AMC. Second best average wise but the best intake Determination wise. Varela 36G is a very good DC prospect and our best CA player from this class. Monteiro 36F is a very good GK prospect. Gonçalves 36D our future DL and Barbosa 36C a very good AMC prospect, i'll try to put him in the B2B role.

JLAB
Just a heads up for the future, the French seasons tick over on June 20th, so for those who want to manage in France in the future, that's a good time to look. You can also save scum until you get your preferred club in the French leagues on the last day of the season on May 21st.

Morpheus13
SC Toulon Season 42/43 Review Table - Squad - Finances - Transfers League Another season where we slightly finished above expectations and luckily we got a third place finish, which is gifting us another Champions League Experience. It was a very hard fight for the 3rd place, but we took it. Absolutely no chance of winning the title this season. 3rd place but finishing 21 points behind PSG is absolutely nuts. Last year with five points more we finished 3 points behind them, but this year no one could come close to them, even tho Lyon played a great season themselfs. I am really happy with our season, even tho we drawed just too many games and in some games had trouble scoring goals. I feel like we can win the league with some luck if PSG or Lyon struggle but no chance to play a season like PSG did in this one. We especially lack the depth for a season like that. Champions League In our first Champions League season, we found ourselfs in a hard group, after we qualified pretty easly for it. After a loss on the first game to the Rangers I thought we would have no chance. But we were able to win against both, Newcastle and Real one time and steal a draw from Real away before hammering Rangers at home in the final game. In the first knockout stage we drawn with Neapel, who kicket us out of the Europa League two years ago. So I wanted Revenge and instead got knocked out again. A loss in both games brought this CL adventure to an end. Squad Mutua 39D Lambert 36B Giraud 38E Ribeiro 39B - Larabi 37C Hajji 36A Thomas 34A - M'Dahoma 39A - Malpon 32A - Vazquez 37B Makouna 38A This is pretty much our strongest Eleven. The best part is still the defense, with M'Dahoma, who is the best player at the club, but also Hajji and Malpon who are very good. On the right hand side it is still Vazquez who is the star and our assist leader. 21 Assists this season for him. Absolutely great wing back and he draws interest from Real and Man Utd. I hope we can keep him here, he is absolutely vital to our team. Coming through are Gauthier 42A, who seems to be the best talent at the club (at least before the 43 intake he was), Ngando 41E, who made great progress while out on loan and Buisson 41A, who was our joker this year and scored 9 goals in the Champions League. I really hope he can make further progress to solve our scoring problem. Also Ngoy had a good loan spell and might get some chances in the first team A few of them appeard on the NxTGn List, even tho I dont really know what Ngando ist doing there. Ribeiro topping the list again Intake 43 Three As but we didnt get the striker, instead an absolut gem of a GK and two beastly Center backs. Of course the position we need the least, as a I think this is the position who is good enough already, but still nice. Gomez could become better that Makouna I think. He already has League 2 Level easy and with his driven personality who should become really good. This affiliation with Fuenlabra paying off. This is him at the intake and him at the end of the season. But also exited about Adelaide 43B, who could replace Malpon one day, even tho I really dont want to get ride of Malpon as he is close to my heart. I like CBs who can pass, and he fits the bill. Next Season We will get another Champions League experience and try in the league again. As I said, at the moment, we can hope for that PSG has a bad season. Popular Post libbyshuss
Marbella FC Spain 2030/31 (season 9) La Liga 2 Season Summary What a brilliant response to the disappointment of last season! Automatic promotion is ours!!!! We're in the big leagues, baby!!!! League - For most of the season we just bumbled along nicely without setting the world on fire. We just seemed to win enough to keep us within the play-off without really threatening top spot. We also struggled to put together one of those title winning runs. Around easter our luck turned a little bit and we went on a nice little run that took us closer and close to the top. Our good run took us to 3rd with one game to play - the fina game being away to second place Getafe. Win, and promotion would be ours! But it was a tough fixture, I really wasn't expecting anything from it..... But we did it!!!! Promotion was ours!!!! Players Here they are! what a bunch of lads! Axel Jeremie Munier 30A - Although we'd started the season well we were struggling up front. I tried about 3 different options before turning to Axel. I didn't really want to , as he was only 16, but he'd been banging them in for the U19s and the coaches were giving him a Liga 2 quality rating, so I figured why not? His debut saw him do this..... He kept his place for the rest of the season! He didn't ever do as well as that first game but 19 goals from 27 starts at 16 years of age is pretty, pretty good Bernardo 28G - A weird one, this. He was a right back I sent out on loan for a couple of seasons. He did well enough to get a promotion to the first team squad. An early season injury saw him thrown in the first team at right wing. He was the match winner for his first two games. And then kept scoring. Eventually he became first choice right winger with 15 goals, 12 assists from 27 games, which is a crazy good record! Youth Double exceptional comes up trumps again! A really nice mix of personalities and determination makes this a really pleasing preview/intake! Finances and Upgrades So promotion should bring a nice amount of money in but..... Our stadium isn't big enough for the La Liga rules so our board came up with a great idea! A lovely new stadium! Which we've taken out a 30m loan for! which we will have to pay back!! That's gonna really hurt..... Career Can we stay up next season? Unlikely, sadly. Hopefully the board will be appy enough with the money and won't sack me.
Popular Post Daddy
Well this is unexpected: A combination of good form, good matchups, winning on penalties for possibly the first time with this team, and of course good luck has us through to the finals! A team we've played before. Last year in the Group stages we were paired with them. A road draw early in the group, but when we faced them at home at the end of group stage we were eliminated and I rotated a lot and had a player sent off early and it just got ugly. I'll post an update once I get to the game!

darren1983
Have not been around much over the past month or so and have not really touch FM in that time but the itch for this challenge has started and we have about 8 months till the new game comes out, I reckon that could be enough time for me to do this again in England....
Popular Post Daddy
The week leading up to the final Chile had World Cup playoffs to qualify. I had 8 players on that team! Two I had to bring in as subs, and three others I had to sub out late. Down 2-1 I thought it was over. Y24B came on for my top scorer and scored the tying goal. In extra time Y34C, who was playing for the reigning Chilean player of the year, scored the winning goal. Genuinely shocked to have pulled this off this season. I still thought the team was years away. I will wrap up season later today and post the final update.

Popular Post darren1983
So yeah I'm back and I'm back in England. Starting with my local team Kingstonian (I live 10 min drive from their current ground and a 3 min walk from their old ground Kingsmeadow) Am interested in seeing what being in London, but one of the smallest clubs here, does to my youth intakes in terms of nationalities I get. last year at South Shields I got a lot of Scottish guys but I suspect here will be a lot more dual nationality players. Anyway, starting profile:

Popular Post Daddy
2037 Season Review: I missed taking picture of winning the Chile Cup. Combine winning Chile Cup and Copa Libertadores league play took a bit of a hit with needing to rotate a lot. Scoring dried up a bit with the last update too (my tactic made good use out of the broken Inside Forward). Can't complain about 2nd place but it would have been cool to win all competitions for a season. Awards: Youth Intake Preview & What's Next: A lot of players weren't brought in, but a top heavy looking intake. My plan is to keep this save but I'm not sure if/when I'll play it again. I had a goal of winning the challenge with a country that hadn't been won with before, so with that accomplished, I will try England again. The town I grew up in here in US is Horsham, and like so many towns and cities here they're named after English towns and cities. It'll take a bit of reloading to get them but that's the goal!

After two losing finals, could I do it this season? Champions League Well, we were handed a nice easy group to be fair and we made short work of it. None of the teams could get near us really. Round 1: Porto. We've played them a few times and they've never beaten us so I was quietly confident. A good 1-1 draw was followed up by a comfortable 3-1 win at home Quarter Final: We got so lucky with the draw! Somehow Cadiz had made it to the QF despite being in the lower half of La Liga and having a pretty limited squad. They were by far the easiest option in the draw and it felt like a win even before we'd played the games. Luckily my complacency didn't stretch to the rest of the squad who dispatched them with ruthless efficiency Semi Final: Again, we lucked out. We'd already beaten Villareal in the group stage and here they were again. There were much harder teams as well but there you go, sometimes you need a bit of luck! So, through to our third final! And this one was a relatively easy rout through as well but with Bayern Muich waiting for us i knew it was unlikely to be as easy in the final. But surely third time lucky? so onto the final and...... We did it!!!!!! CHALLENGE COMPLETE!!!!!!!! But it's tinged with a bit of sadness. I've grown to love these little number on a spreadsheet and am gonna miss them! And I still got so many amazing prospects coming through as well..... League: Not that it matters but for the first half of the season we were amazing. Only Newcastle could keep up with us. Then in Feb we had a wobble, 2 defeats and 2 draws and Newcastle didn't wobble and suddenly we were chasing them. As I turned our attention to the Champions League the league results suffered and we finished second. Players So who were the Champions League winning side? This is who they were! Branislav Mancic 54A - What a player! by far the best I think I've ever had out of a youth academy. He was ridiculous at times. In the first 14 games of the season he'd scored 30 goals. He had a run of scoring 4, 4, 1, 6 as well. He won every award going and finished with 64 goals in 43 games. And the winner in the CL final! Check out these career stats! Charles Khumalo 61A - Bit weird that he's only 21. He's so good. Best player I've ever had straight out the youth academy in terms of CA. Premier League quality at 16! 50 caps and 160 PL games at only 21 as well Emanuel Odita 51A - 98 caps for England! There's world cup in 2066 so I may hang around jsut to see him make him get to 100, and maybe win a world cup in the process. Joe Turner 62A - The future of Whitby Town. Not only a Champiosn League winner but won his first England cap and was selcted for the World Cup as well. It would have been interesting to see how good he could have got, I think he could have made 100 caps like Odita easily Youth Ah, who cares anymore right? it was ok actually, couple of nice looking prospects. Career It took me a while but I got there in the end! it was a fun journey though, lots of ups and downs and play-off defeats. @darren1983 here we go! After finishing 6th and 5th in last two seasons, we finish in the top 3 and above Portugese giants Porto . Nascimento 33M had a great season and became for the second time topscorer of the BWIN. Monteiro 33N gave the most asssits in the league. We have to advance in two qualifying round, if we lose in one of them, we have Europa League group stage ! Taça de Portugal: We lost in the fourth round this time. Supertaça: / Taça De Liga - Allianz Cup: We lost in the third phase. Europe: We did a very good job winning our ECL group above Kobenhavn. In the second knockout we beated Reid from Austria . In the Quarter Final, Leicester City was to strong. U23: Finished last but no relegation. U19: Our U19 finished 2nd in the 1st tier and won the championship playoffs for the first time. Key Players Some new faces in this list: Nascimento 33M is our best forward , Sanches 35A our new defensive star and Lopes 30F had again a great season but he'll get competition next season from a new young GK. Miscellaneous & Finances Finances improved again after getting a lot of money from the Conference League but we used most of it for Training and Youth facilities upgrades. Nascimento 33m and Lopes 32i were again number one and two in the new wonderkid list ! But they still don't have the wonderkid tag . Monteiro 33N is the first wonderkid in our squad ! Aim for next season Next season I would like to finish in the top 5 again, the season after that I want to take a step towards top 2. I expect another quality injection by promoting a young GK , DL and AMC (from last intake). I can still keep any talent for now, although there is now serious interest from teams in Italy and England. Popular Post XaW
New patch, new try from me. I'm going to give a go in a country I know well, but rarely, if ever, have managed in. Denmark! Since I'm a fjeldabe, I'm quite familiar with the country, and have quite a few friends there in real life. So managing there will be an excellent reason to practice my rødgrød med fløde, while trying to explain that understanding Danish is much easier if they were to try to speak without a potato in their throat. If all this sounds very strange to you, it's because you are not Scandinavian! So from my native Norway, I've taken the short trip down to Holbæk. A town just shy of an hour west of Copenhagen, or København as is the real name of the place. It's located on the island of Zealand aka Sjælland. I've taken over the club Holbæk Bold- & Idrætsforening, or just Holbæk for short. The reason for choosing this club is the youth setup and the club vision. Kom så Holbæk!
andreidvb
Youth Academy Challenge - Swiss Lower Leagues (staring in the 5h tier) FC Wettingen END OF CHALLENGE Season 51 finally saw us promoted to the Swiss Promotion League (3rd Tier), however after only 2 season we got relegated back to the 4th tier and this save comes to an end. Even though the board has not sacked me after relegating to the 4th tier, 50 season with no significant progress is enough for me. Sadly we lost to the tier 3 side Halle, but its a very good sign. In the next years this will be our ticket into the DFB Pokal. NOFV-Oberliga Süd Results I + Results II Really nice first season in the Oberliga. There will be only 1 promotion spot, so this will be a tough one. We are in the red. Nothing to scary, but still its bad. There is no money in the lower league in Germany. Luckily the SA Pokal final gave us a 35k shared gate. The team is good enough for the 5th tier, but I dont think for the 4th tier. Popular Post libbyshuss
Marbella FC - Spain La Liga 2031/32 (Season 10) Season Summary Our first season in the top tier! I didn't really expect much other than getting our arse handed regularly to us on a plate, and that's pretty much how the season started. 7 league games in and we were bottom of the table with zero wins, zero draws and 7 defeats. It was promising to be a brutal season. But then we won, drew and won again and suddenly after 10 games we were 14th. The table showed that there were 7 sides who were complete poop compared to the rest of the league and that our first 7 games were all against teams in the top half! So long as we could get results against the rubbish around us we might have a chance. And that's how it proved. We lost way more than we won but the odd victory we picked up here and there meant we were able to stay out of the bottom three. We were in a relegation battle but we consistently held the high ground. With 5 games to play the tabe looked like this:- Our final five games included games against the bottom three so it was all in our hands. I wanted to be safe before the final game of the season, as that was a trip to Camp Nou where i fully expected us to get battered. The way the league looked, even drawing against those bottom 3 might be enough for us so it was looking promising. So off we went! a draw, followed by a draw and then two victories saw us safe and in La Liga for another year. Yay!!!! Cup - first time ever in round 3! We lost to Las Palmas of a Liga 2. But Copa del Rey games are aways midweek so I tend to play reserves/squad players in them to give the first team a rest. The league is way more important! Players I'm getting a clearer idea of who is who in this squad now, and who is gonna be a star Axel Jeremie Munier 30A - Clearly gonna be a star! still only 17 but i had to offer him two new contracts during the season as his value sky-rocketed. 25 goals at 17 in the top division is insane. If I can keep hold of him he's gonna be a legend. Bernardo 28G - Still described as a right back but clearly a winger! Kept up his form from last season and managed to bag himself a nice personal award Youth I love double exceptional youth set ups in nations like Spain. You're almost guaranteed a good player or two every intake, and this year looks no exception. The preview wasn't the best with only two A grades but it was 5 star still. Not a bad intake tbh! There looks to be a lot more A grades than just two and some cracking personalities as well. Best two:- Rodriguez 32B was given his debut at the end of the season after survival had been secured. He scored twice to become our youngest ever player and goalscorer at 15 years and 180 days. He looks good!! Although he's been described as 'the next Alvaro Morato' which kind of worries me a little bit. Wonderkids No official wonderkids but the first time I had some appear on the top 50 list. Numbers 1 and 3 as well, which is quite exciting. Finances and Upgrades So we have a 30m new stadium loan to pay off but the tv money is 34m for the season. And my wage bill is hilarious for this level So we could easily afford the repayments for that loan and some lovely upgrades to boot Career So it's all looking rosy at the minute! Next season will be about survival again but we've got some amazing youth prospects looking to break through soon and hopefully they'll see us start challenging a bit more soon Edited February 27, 2022 by libbyshuss
Popular Post thomas_e
SpVgg Unterhaching Season Summary 2039 - 2040 Won the Champions League in our third final! CHALLENGE COMPLETED A great season, completing the challenge by winning the double! We already won the Bundesliga two years ago, but great to do it again. More important, we broke our CL final curse. In 2037 and 2038 we got all the way to the Champions League final, only to lose against Bayern and Dortmund. Last year we got knocked out in the Quarter Final, but this time we were once again at center stage. We won our very easy group against Benfica, Charleoi and Ajax with five wins and one draw. Next up was Tottenham. They struggled with domestic form and injuries and we easily beat them 3-1 on aggregate. The quarter final was the games that gave us the most trouble, when we only drew 0-0 at home to Chelsea. A fantastic perfomance away with a 1-0 win was surprising to say the least! The semi final against Real Madrid was a world class performance from Jasper Berg, our star striker. A perfect hat-trick in the first game and two goals in the second leg helped us to a dominant 7-1 win on aggregate. We faced Man Utd in the final and it was my goalkeeper who got the man of the match award with a 8.50 rating. Man Utd were the best team, but a goal from my Croatian playmaker Benjamin Biskup made the difference. A 1-0 win and challenge completed!! In the Bundesliga we rotated quite heavily, especially when we had CL games mid week. This led to some dropped points here and there, but the situation was the same for Bayern, Dortmund. We won the league with only 76 points, but that was enough. In regards to completing the challenge, I dont think there was any better time to do it. Our talent development has been really bad the last few years and our defense isn't great at all. Our two best defenders are now 31 years old, and the youngsters in the U19 aren't really top class. But even though we have a shaky defense, we probably have the best midfield in the world. Mohamed Ouni and Janz-Bolz both play for Germany and Benjamin Biskup is maybe Croatias best player. That combined with striker Jasper Berg is a deadly combination. The passing and vision qualities in the team is better than any that I've had on this challenge, but probably also the worst defense. I will of course start right away with another challenge, but I cannot recommend doing it in Germany highly enough! I have completed it twice here and it is a really fun country to play in! @darren1983 - challenge completed Season Summary Key Players
