HanziZoloman
"Well we didn't get where we set our sails for." Earl of Grey Season 14 - 36/37 We did play the best football we ever played so far but the season didn't go well, We set out to challenge for 9th - 7th place but finished 13th which is a disappointment. The new De Zerbi style of play let us rip opponents like a bag of crisps but we didn't score we hit woodwork and conceded a late equalizer or even winner with a stupid mistake like the goalie couldn't hold onto the ball or a stupid penalty. It was so frustrating to beat a promotion candidate one weak and to lose against the relegation candidate the next day. Our goal machine Rhys Platt suffered his first long term injuries and we had to replace him for 4 months. I needed some time to figure out who could play up top in his place but of course the boots were too big for anyone. The Earl was satisfied with his offensive: Inhi Sole delivered 13 goals and 9 assists, Abi Ibeh as AMC 14 goals and 2 assists, Achref Ghouma 9 goals and 11 assists and Josh Maxwell 5 goals and 10 assists. Rhys Platt of course delivered when played: 12 goals in 22 starts. They played well but could scored and assists more (!) that's the frustrating point and the Earl is hoping that all players will gain experience from this year and punch back higher in the table. This VNS can't be forever. There were times when we just hammered our opponents like the 9:0 in the cup 2nd round how to get the engine running consistently (?) the Earl will fight forwards not backwards. Spoiler The U18s on the other hand of course bagged their 10th title but with a milestone performance. They just lost once and finished the season with a goal difference of 117. They scored amazing 147 goals. They won not once but some games like 10:0, 10:2, 9:0 or 8:1. Star of the team, Adam Griggs alone scored 56 goals and gave 24 assists as an AMC(A) and yes he isn't that incredible good: Spoiler The Earl takes this as an encouragement in the style of play he is implementing. "we had a lot of bad luck and will be better next year. That's it." he closed on the last press conference. No Nottingham Forrest and wood chopping, no returning to the draw board just a holiday at the beach in France. The stats however are promising: Average Poss. 2nd exp. Goals underperf. 5th non pen. exp. goals/90 8th pass compl. Ratio 2nd final third passes for 4th sprints 1st We won't post any defense stats. Novafluff
The fight for promotion as we are about to play the last game against Hässleholms IF is tense for real! Edited August 18, 2023 by Novafluff
Novafluff
Season Review 2023 Table | Transfers | Finance | Facilities | Youth Intake Having quite an okay team for our division i thought from the start that we should try to do our best to get promoted while these guys can carry us as youth will take a while to get quality from. It ended up being a battle for promotion where 5 teams all could go up starting the last game. We lost against 4th placed Hässleholms IF which saw them winning the title and us ending 5th, a win and we would have been champions. On the more positive side we got a good prospect in Jimmy Karlsson already in the first intake where i had 0 expectations. He will start in the central midfield next season. We also managed to upgrade our JC and YR which is good for the long run. I have tons of players listed for loan - but not getting many offers. No-one is really developing at all, so I'm going to try a few of them out on loan n see what happens. I have reasonable coaching (i think!) for u19s, not amazing but not terrible. Poor facilities though. WhiteCat33
Barbados YAC: Road View FC Start Post | Season 1 | League Performance: Amazing the difference one intake makes at the low levels. We were not troubled at all this season and were well ahead 2/3 of the way through the season so I just simulated the rest till the deciding game so I could get the trophy ceremony. Cup Performance: We beat our first top-flight Professional team in the 2nd round, but then couldn't beat L&R United who are in our tier. Spoiler Matches: Spoiler Squad: Still a lot of rotation, but less '2-line' strategy as we had some crucial star players who needed to be in most every game. Spoiler Transfers: Spoiler Best XI: Assistant is an idiot playing R.Browne as the winger and my trash 3rd striker up top. Head Coach: Starting my next coaching badge Club Improvements: Took arguing with the board, but since they love me right now I got both Youth Recruitment and Junior Coaching upgraded again. Also, being promoted to the next division bumps the club to Semi-Professional as well as gets us our first Uniform sponsorship! Youth Academy: HOYD: Youth Intake Preview: Youth Intake: Liam Weekes is absolutely killing it. 2 for 2 fire intakes! Only 1 top talent and 15 Elites. Top 3 Players: Omani Steele: Dude will be a perfect Segundo Volante for us. Can even become a free kick specialist (might directly train that). Amal Stanford: Since he's only 5'8" he will be my new DM-D Luther Lloyd: Another aggressive winger with speed. I like to press hard so my HOYD matches my focus to beat up the opposition Tyrell Trotman: bonus 4th who actually will be a good CB for this level and I have lots of mentors to fix the determination. Excel Tables: I may have trouble holding onto Omani Steele. With his Week foot he's actually over 56 CA, which is way higher than should be possible in such a backwater league. Great news for the Barbadian national team he doesn't have 2nd nationality English so I expect to see him very quickly make his mark! Statistics Manager: The big difference this season is our Model Citizen Striker. He has "good" attributes (10-12) in the skills you need in a lower-league striker: Speed, Height/Jump, & Finishing. Pair that with fast wingers that can feed him our front 3 broke behind and scored lots of goals. Even on an Amateur contract he is getting some development, but its still pretty poor as I had to retrain him. Maybe next year Semi-Professionalism will help? As he is our only Natural Striker (he's versatile, yay!) who played over 1000 Min it's easy to compare him. The surprise is the 1.09 Open Play Key Passes / 90, which leads to a pretty decent assisting for an Advanced Forward who is bagging 20+ goals. First half of the season I had "Shoots Often" checked in the player role, but dropped it for the back-half and I think that improved his conversion somewhat, but its still extremely low. Player breakdown and Percentiles shows he is the best in the league where it counts: Shots and Goals Awards: In a shock to no one Romario Browne wins player of the season and we get coach of the year. Handful of our players in the Season Best XI as well. Spoiler Supporters: Summary Edited August 19, 2023 by WhiteCat33

SI tweaked player development this year in a way that "seems" to favor sending players 18-21 out on loan rather than playing them in your reserves as they aren't good enough to play for your main team. If you have the finances its then worth letting teams have the players for free just to get them out developing.

Novafluff
Season Review 2024 Table | Transfers | Finance | Facilities | Youth Intake Had a okay start but after a losing streak of 6 games in a row where 4(!) where 0-1 defeats it stood clear that it where gonna be a relegation battle for us. We however picked ourselves up and made sure to win hte important games against the other bottom teams which saw us basically safe with 5 games to go. Intake where okay but nothing to exciting Björn Cederqvist will be second option at RB and Joel Andersson will be one of two strikers starting. We do lose one of our best players that retire thou. Counting on survival battle next year as well. We did get YR and JC upgraded once again thou! WhiteCat33
Barbados YAC: Road View FC Season 3 - BFA Division One [Tier 2] Start Post | Season 1 |Season 2 | League Performance: Our Golden Generation demolished BFA Division One. We were guaranteed promotion with 8 games to go and won the league with 5 still to play. Almost undefeated, but one rotation too many saw us lose to "Kick Start". Cup Performance: Rotated for the Cup because I only cared about promotion and we ended up losing our first game against "Kick Start". They are the only team to beat us in the league as well (again due to rotation) Squad: 9 of my starters were from last year's intake. Only Romario Browne (my Model Citizen Striker) and my captain Shaquille Green were from last year's squad. 27 goals in 20(7) Apps. says Browne still has the speed to make trouble for defenses. Spoiler Transfers: Spoiler Best XI: Awards: Romario Browne won himself a place in Division One history and all the awards: Spoiler Head Coach: I got Manager of the year, and finished my coaching badge but the club won't let me start another. Club Improvements: Another round of JR Coaching and Youth Recruitment. We've also started getting sponsorship deals now that we are semi-pro. Every little bit helps with the rising costs of youth players. Youth Academy: HOYD: Youth Intake Preview: Youth Intake: All Elite Talent's Golden Generation [not worth the Dev. Center Screenshot]. Personalities aren't as good this year, but we got our first USA Born player! Top 3 Players: Sebastian Primus Randy Miggins: He could actually become our striker. Good decisions and can actually excelerate a little. Would let me move Romario Browne to his natural AMR position. At least he's Level-Headed [Decent Professionalism] Jordy Morrison: meh. American - Joshua Hunt: I like him as a CD. 9 decisions is actually an upgrade! Excel Tables: As I expected Steele was an exceptional player when he came through. Still happy with the intake for our level. Youth Development: The inevitable personality downgrade happened to Romario Browne who is now Light-Hearted. He still played great this year, so not a problem. We had our first Barbados U18 Call-Ups. Surprisingly they didn't take Steele but did take my DM-D and best CB. Statistics Manager: Honestly not worth the effort as we just blew the league away. Onwards and Upwards! Summary With us going top-flight next year I’m changing all the leagues to only top level Caribbean and adding two Central American countries to add difficulty to the NACL. Costa Rica tends to have pretty good teams already, so hopefully adding them as playable will make the NACL more than just USA & Mexico. The_Gato_In_Goal
Brønshøj BK - Youth Intake Season 24 Refreshing to see a couple of standout talents after underwhelming prospects the last 4 seasons. We desperately need a few more world class players to have a realistic shot at winning the Champions League. Apparently, this is the year for the affiliate in Japan to send us all ther youngsters. Wish Yoshida 24a was more consistent, but hard to complain with a solid base CA, high PA, and a solid personality. Hopefully we can keep Fisker 19a around and find a pair up top here. Borup 24c doesn't have quite as high potential, but his CA floor is higher. A bit short, but otherwise looks perfect for a winger in our system. I like the versatility of Sato 24c if his potential can hold up. Similarly, Varming 24d looks quite talented already, but has question marks over his potential.

XaW
XaW - FC Vestsjælland - Season 2030/31 (Season 8) - NordicBet Liga Squad | Transfers | Finances After the relegation last season, we luckily kept most of the squad intact, even with a few relegation clauses activating. We did lose the one I posted earlier from a youth contract, but other than that we lost one who had an expiring contract. As it turns out, we fared much better this season and we finally got to show we know how to play and win. From early on we were part of the top of the table, and after the preliminary stage we were top, just ahead of Vejle and Helsingør. The promotion stage also went well for us and we were promoted with a few games to spare, and eventually we were crowned champions! I hope we can stay up next season, at the very least we know how hard it can be! This season's intake was good, we finally got a talented goalkeeper too! DBU Pokalen: We beat Ishøj IF and Hvidovre before we lost to Brøndby in the 3rd round. Around the world B Team They finished 4th in the Autumn season, and then 5th in the Spring season. U19s They retained the Danish U19 First Division this season! Not sure why they are not getting promoted into the U19 Premier League, as they are clearly too good for this tier, but there we are. JAwtunes
Another decent season but still unable to really make any progress in Asian CL and struggling to make money, so upgrades are not possible at the moment. End of Season Review: Persitara Jakarta Utara 2034 Domestic and Continental Performances The 2034 season has been one of triumph and progress for Persitara Jakarta Utara. As the highest-reputed team in Indonesia with a 1.5-star national reputation, Persitara showcased their dominance on both the domestic and continental fronts. In the BRI Liga 1, the club secured a remarkable 1st place finish, amassing a total of 84 points and finishing 7 points ahead of the second-placed Persebaya Surabaya. This victory not only highlighted their prowess but also reinforced their status as a formidable force within Indonesian football. In the domestic cup arena, Persitara proved their mettle once again by emerging as the victors in the Piala Indonesia. The team displayed exceptional skills and determination as they triumphed over Arema FC in the final with a 2-0 aggregate score. This achievement further solidified their place as a dominant force in Indonesian football. Turning to continental competition, Persitara participated in the AFC Champions League, competing in a challenging group stage. While the team showcased their determination, they finished third in their group with 8 points, narrowly missing out on advancing to the knockout rounds. Despite this, their efforts on the continental stage did not go unnoticed, underscoring their ambition to compete on a larger platform. Players The players were the heartbeat of Persitara's success, and their remarkable contributions did not go unnoticed by the fans. The coveted Fans' Player of the Year award was deservedly clinched by Dede Kahfi [59], who displayed exceptional versatility across various positions, amassing 7.52 in the Sofascore rating. Leading the charge was Agung Saleh [59], whose stellar performances garnered an impressive Sofascore rating of 8.64. This dynamic midfielder's intellect and passing acumen were evident in his 19 goals and 16 assists. Ketut Hidayat [61], a young full-back, showcased his tenacity and aerial prowess, earning a solid 7.70 Sofascore rating. Top Scorer and Top Assister: Dede Kahfi [59], with his uncanny ability to slot into multiple positions, clinched the title of top scorer with an outstanding 30 goals in all competitions. Agung Saleh [59] once again left his mark, this time as the top assister with a notable 16 assists, highlighting his brilliance in creating opportunities for his teammates. Youth Intake: The future looks promising as Persitara's youth intake this season garnered a remarkable 5 out of 5 rating. The young talents who emerged from the intake are poised to make a significant impact on the team's journey ahead. Ketut Hidayat [61], a 17-year-old full-back, exhibits the potential to rise to the top with his team spirit and aerial prowess. Bambang Ali [52] adds excitement with his speed and attacking prowess as a young attacking midfielder. Harry Ciptadi [56] brings intelligence and versatility to the midfield, while Wawan Valentino [51] and Singgih Setyawan [56] shine as young strikers with skill and precision. Spoiler Finances In terms of finances, the club faced challenges in reducing their youth spending. Despite this hurdle, Persitara remained resolute in their commitment to nurturing young talents. Consequently, the club's financial situation was marked by continued losses throughout the season. Unfortunately, this fiscal strain limited their ability to invest in facility upgrades or other ventures. Spoiler Around the World Across the globe, football's grand stage witnessed some remarkable triumphs. The AFC Champions League saw Nagoya Grampus of Japan secure their maiden victory by defeating Al Batin of Saudi Arabia in a penalty shootout, cementing their place among football's elite. In major Asian leagues, the coveted titles were claimed by formidable teams. Kawasaki Frontale clinched victory in the Japanese J1 League, while Ulsan Hyundai asserted their dominance in the South Korean K League 1. In the Middle East, Al Shabab celebrated their seventh triumph in the Saudi Pro League, while Havadarl emerged as victors in the Iranian Pro League. On the international scene, the 2034 World Cup held in China saw defending champions France triumph over Portugal with a convincing 3-0 scoreline in the final. Italy secured the third-place spot, while Indonesia's absence from the competition was a poignant reminder of the challenges faced. South Korea shone brightly, reaching the quarter-finals before bowing out to eventual runners-up Portugal. Notably, Indonesia's FIFA men's ranking improved to 95th place, marking a modest rise from last year, and maintained their 17th position in Asia. Ronaldo Beckham
Salamanca UDS Season 9 Youth Intake Not as good as previous seasons with more Top Talents then Elite for a change but still a good intake. 5 x Elite Talents & 9 x Top Talents. 11 Spanish, 2 Argentinian & 1 Australian. Jorge Bustos(S9YP4) is the best of the bunch with a estimated value of £8-£15m.

Ronaldo Beckham
Salamanca UDS Season 9 Review Competitions A great season for us with our highest ever position of 7th and also Europeon football for the first time ever for Salamanca UDS. Best Players Ivan Varela(S5YP7) Joint top goalscoer for the season and also was number 1 in the NXGN Top 50. Annoyingly even though he was basically playing nearly every game of the season he decided to moan about his game time and didn't like my response and decided to put himself on the transfer list. Unfortunately for him he has a 5 year contract with us with a £42.5m release clause so he probably wont be going any time soon. Ivan Trujillo(S7YP7) My other best player for the season was Ivan Trujillo(S7YP7) who got 13 goals and also had the best average rating for the whole squad. He is another player with a bright future in football. Squad Overview Transfer History None of the former prospects are doing well for the bigger clubs. Edu and Goh are playing well for Servette and are wanted by other clubs so we will see.
The_Gato_In_Goal
A couple of guys on the NXGN list. Spelmann 21d has 5 goals in 15(5) for Horsens and Eriksen 21g has played 17 times for OB, both in the Superliga and pushing themselves into the first team picture next year.
aldojags
In season 3 and struggling. Zero progress, just lower mid table scraping wins and getting scudded off the bigger teams, with nothing coming through of note and haemorrhaging money. How people do this challenge I'll never know. I think the key is an early promotion so by that metric it may be worth jumping ship already after 3 seasons. Another intake preview, and another A rated GK prospect, my 3rd in a row. I don't need any more keepers FFS!!! This is a fairly standard game for me (minus the four pens, i dont think thats ever happened!) but many people with low 6/high 5 ratings, its just hard to see any way out this league!
Ronaldo Beckham
My former player Yaya Goh(S6YP2) just went to Juventus from Servette for £8.75m. I was right to cash in his clause as well as I wouldn't of made much money from waiting. Nice to see one of my former players playing for a big Italian team. I hope he does well.
WhiteCat33
Barbados YAC: Road View FC Season 4 – BFA Digicel Premier League Start Post | Season 1 |Season 2 | Season 3 | League Performance: 3rd Place A great first showing with us claiming 3rd place. No complaints as this puts us as the best Semi-Professional side in Barbados. In head-to-head we are already splitting points with all the teams with almost all players under 18 in the squad. Again, the easy part of the small nation play is to be the big fish in your nation. Then the real challenge begins! Cup Performance: Quarter Final We actually had a good cup run this year reaching the Quarterfinals then losing to the Professional side Weymouth Wales. Weymouth Wales ended up winning the cup, so going out to them is no shame for us. In what had to be an embarrassment BDFSP lost to their B-Team! They are the only club to have a B Team and it is locked out of promotion to the top flight. Reserves & U18s: A good showing for our rejects with a 3rd place in the Reserves league 1 and 2nd place in the U18s. We should be rocking these in no time with players of actual worth in these squads. Spoiler Squad: With 8 games less in Tier 1 there was a lot less rotation of players with only 1 month having 2 games a week. Soon we will start culling the chaff of the squad to build up our core players. We already have some good personalities in the squad and soon they will be able to be mentors. I've kept two starting players as mentors. Shaquille Green (Det 14 - Fairly Professional) and Jasson Chandler (Det 13 - Perfectionist). Only downside of Chandler is he's also volatile, which is degrading temperament. I've set Omani Steele (Det 14) as my captain and the once Model Citizen Romario Browne (Det 14) as vice captains. Almost a shame they both are so good as never get a chance to fine them to push the determination up, but both will work as good attacking and midfield mentors in another couple years. Spoiler We actually have a balanced squad and even more surprising our strongest position is Defensive Midfield with our top 3 rated players all rotating through those positions. Then we have a great CD in Trotman which gives us a very secure center of the field to anchor our team. The game considers Omani Steele a leading player for our division, so we are already producing the "quality" of most Barbadian sides. Spoiler Transfers: Still none, I just release players I don't want and use the 'future date' trick to sign my non-contracts. The transfer window in Barbados is very advantageous to locking in players year after year. Spoiler Best XI: Spoiler 2026 Best XI All Time Best XI Awards: My striker Brathwaite won and Browne was 3rd placed for both POY & Young POY. I'm also yet again the best manager. Then Brathwaite was in the Team of the Year. Not bad, for our freshman performance. Spoiler Head Coach: Finished my next badge: Spoiler Club Improvements: Took till the end of the season to get the board to agree to a Junior Coaching Upgrade. Youth Academy: HOYD: Spoiler Youth Intake Preview: Youth Intake: JACKPOT!!! My HOYD is on fire with this intake. 2 Professional & Driven all with awesome Current Ability. Fantastic! Big step up in Top 5 Average as well as the depth of talent in the intake. Moving in the right direction Top Players: Riccardo Burke: Either footed, Driven, high technical/flair attacker. Shame he's slow. I could switch to a narrow top 3 with him as the CAM. Spoiler Darico Harris: will make another good DM for us as but I'll make him a WB option as he has some agility and we can use depth there. Spoiler Akeem Walters: He will fill our Target Forward slot well at 6'5" with actually decent movement. Shame he's Unambitious, but at least he's Level-Headed. Spoiler Renaldo Skeete: Another CAM, man we have lots of midfielders now Spoiler Gus Headley: We need CBs so he is actually good compared to some that we play. Spoiler Barbados & International Players: We had a few more players called up for the U18s this year: League improved 1 rank to 27th. None of our teams made a dent in the continental competitions. Barbados just had friendlies this year, so no change in its ranking from 158. This fall is North American Nations League and Barbados has a good chance with these matchups: Caribbean Nations Intenational Performance: Since its 2026 we are at the North American World Cup. A surprise qualifier from the Caribbean is Curacao! Sadly they didn't make it out of the group stage: Canada, USA & Mexico as hosts all automatically qualified, and they did well enough in the groups to advance. Mexico didn't make it out of the 2nd round, and then USA & Canada lost in the 3rd Round. Not the greatest performance, but about what you'd expect this early in a save. Hopefully with all the North American leagues loaded they will slowly do better. The Dutch Win it all!! BustaRaymes
I've decided to not try for this challenge anymore this edition. I'm planning on getting FM24 after always skipping editions before, and now that Baldur's Gate 3 is out and with Starfield and Armored Core coming up, I don't see myself playing enough to see out another serious try. Might still play a few seasons with Royn as the job sometimes gets a quiet period, but I don't want to force myself and feel jaded when 24 comes out. Novafluff
Season Review 2025 Table | Transfers | Finance | Facilities | Youth Intake An overall surprisingly good season. A lot better then last but worse then first, but time is on our side as we get more and more intakes and our guys can develop. Intake had a good width where we have a few players which will be a part of the first team squad. What we still lack is a good goalscorer which i will hope to come through next season! Top Scorer: Jesper Lundborg 13 Goals | 24(0) Games Most Assists: Jesper Lundborg| 7 Assists | 24(0) Games Best Average: Omar Hamid | 7.0 Average | 21(2) Games Top Prospect: (02-A)Björn Cederqvist | 3 Goals | 2 Assists | 14(7) Games | 6.78 Average Edited August 22, 2023 by Novafluff
