Popular Post glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Japan J3 League - Season 6 - End of Year Review League At the end of the season there were only 8 points from 1st to 9th, with only 4 games left. We had been 2nd for a chunk of the season, but with some inconsistent performances found ourselves in the middle of the playoff spots. In our 2nd last game it was tense, but our North Korean youth academy player got us a winner in the 94th minute. We then ended up losing our last game and finished in 6th. Playoff Semi A tight and tense affair against Akita who ended up in 3rd. We were lucky to get a goal just before half time and in the second half we sat back while Akita, unsuccessfully, peppered our goal. Through to the Finals versus Ehime FC Playoff Final In this game I remember playing well and getting beat by a 94th minute goal. Unfortunately I did not remember to take a screenshot and by the time I realised I didn't take a screenshot it was too late, so here is the fixture list, years and years later (I play way more than I update). We lost 1-0 and were gutted as I honestly feel like this was the year, being 2nd for quite a few games gave us the hope of being promoted. Oh well....we go again. Squad It is now starting to look like a proper youth academy challenge with numerous Youth Academy players getting game time. With 6 players getting 25+ games it has been interesting to see their progress. Next year I want to integrate a few more. In terms of the best 11, it is clear that Jo Song-Chol (YP05B) is going to be our best academy prospect so far. He still has a way to go, but he has improved a lot so far this season and came up with important goals and assists during the last few games of the season. Kazutoshi Sasaki (YP04G) has been a bit of a surprise. After getting the starting job on the right he has gone from strength to strength and has chipped in with 5 goals and 9 assists, which is impressive for a player who I ranked as only 7th best in his class. A Sale Our form was slightly dented as our chairman sold our starting Deep Laying Playmaker Tatsuya Tanaka (YP04B) to a J2 League team, Kofu. I feel that I could have negotiated for more, as he has bags of potential and was playing well for us. Finance We are still doing okay in terms of finance. Although the recent upgrades mean that we are losing around 400k each season. So if we don't get promoted soon we may run into some trouble. Projection is that we will JUST be in the red at the end of next season. Other News Another Youth Recruitment Network upgrade. After asking for 6 years, I get two upgrades in the space of 12 months. We are now at a Fairly Basic Level. Edited December 26, 2023 by glennuk

glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 7 - Japan J3 League - Mid Year Review & Youth Intake - Could this be the year? League We have been immense in the league. Everything seems to be clicking and we have been top for almost the entire season. We are 13 points above 7th place, so surely playoffs should be the very minimum aim for the rest of the season. Youth Intake Preview We got another good preview and it seems we have turned the corner into getting genuinely good players now. I could really do with a good goalkeeper as one of the only legacy players that is irreplaceable at the moment is our GK. Youth Intake So what did we get? We only went and got another great intake. No one who immediately will step into the first team, but a whole bunch of potential with 8 Elite talents! Top 3 - Youth Intake 7 Yuta Tabata (YP07A) - He will be trained as an advanced forward, as he has good passing and okay finishing (although that does need to improve). He has a Fairly Professional personality which is about as good as I have been getting. Hopefully this will help him reach his potential. He will probably not make the first team for a few years due to Striker being one of my strongest positions (with 3 good legacy players). Kazuya Ito (YP07B) - He may have a bit too much aggression, but his work rate and good physicals (for this league) point to a solid player. The fact that he could end up being able to play LB or RB is a big bonus and one that makes me think he will be a good rotation piece if nothing else. He is another one who won't be in the first team for a few years, but hopefully he will make it. Taisei Shibuya (YP07C) - He seems good all around for a young CB. IF he can reach his potential he could well be a starter. The biggest downside here is the mentals which will need some improvement if he is ever to be a regular in the first team. Other News We have our first International CAP! Of course it is none other than our North Korean sensation on the left Jo Song-Chol (YP05B) Here is a screenshot a few months before his first full cap. He has however decided he is leaving if we don't get promoted this year.....no pressure! In other news I have never seen this news item before and thought it was cool so wanted to share. How they got 13 million in debt (they just got relegated) I will never know!! Edited December 26, 2023 by glennuk
leyrtj
Lam Dong - Season 12 - 2031 - Vietnam - Wake UP 247 V. League 1 (Tier 1) - 2nd Well. That didn't go very well. Because of Vietnam's poor coefficients, last year's league win meant we still had to enter the AFC Champions League at the 1st prelimary stage. We managed wins over Yangon, Selangor and Urawa Red Diamonds to qualify for the group stage. We drew a tough group with strong teams Shanghai SIPG and FC Seoul alongside Chiangrai from Thailand. We didn't embarass ourselves, finishing 3rd, and it's more points for the coefficients. On the domestic season, things went wrong for the first time in the save. Focusing on the AFC Champions League meant we were heavily rotating in the league. Alongside this, our 442 formation wasn't working, and Ha Noi FC were almost untouchable for the whole season, so we finished 2nd. The other qualification place for the Champions League was in the cup so I focused there. We managed to knock out Ha Noi FC and just had to beat Nam Dinh in the final, a straight forward game. However, the game was scheduled during an international break, meaning we had to play a greyed out keep in goal and didn't have our 5 best players. We then missed a penaly, had a man sent off then lost on penalties. So we will not be in Asia next season. Oh, this game. Next update in 2 seasons as no point updating next season.

Popular Post JAwtunes
Afrika Reykjavik (Iceland) - FM24 - Introduction The Club Formation Afrika are an interesting team that are reasonably well known in the FM community. They are one of those interesting teams that will generate foreign youth players They were founded in 2002(?) by Moroccan Zakaria 'Zico' Anbari. Zico is also the teams manager and was the 'star' of a documentary movie that followed the club and players in 2005. I haven't seen the film, but have managed to find the trailer, and the description of the film below pretty much sums up what I saw in that trailer. Zico came to Iceland from Morocco in search of his fortune but became depressed following his subsequent bankruptcy. In an attempt to lift this spirits, he formed Afrika, a multi-national squad of players based around a core of African players alongside others from countries including Serbia, Portugal and Colombia. Africa United charts the team’s first foray into the (relative) upper echelons of Icelandic football. Zico and his team have just one real problem; they’re not very good. Each match seems to be a carnival of ill-discipline and sloppy defending, often exacerbated by the concession of a series of weak penalties (generally courtesy of the player-manager’s last-ditch attempts to stop conceding another goal). The succession of defeats is broken up with a few road trips abroad. We follow Zico back home to Morocco and on a pilgrimage to London to seek the advice of then Charlton manager Alan Curbishley. Spoiler In recent years, Afrika have started to field more Polish players and have at times fielded teams made entirely Polish players. I understand that this will be replicated in-game, but cannot confirm as we haven't yet had an intake. The following is translated from a Polish newspaper website article from Dec 2021. Poles are the largest group of immigrants in Iceland, currently almost 20,000 people live there. Our compatriots, who constitute over 5 percent of the country's population. It is therefore not surprising that there is no shortage of Poles willing to play football. When the Afrika team had personnel problems a few years ago, many of our compatriots joined the team. – I once fielded a team composed entirely of Poles – says the Moroccan coach. Spoiler Ground Afrika play their home matches at Bessastaðavöllur in Garðabær, Reykjavik, which has a capacity of 1000 (no seats). Facilities No youth academy at the start of the save. The Manager Given the Poland links, I was tempted to bring my favourite newgen from my Widzew save with me. However, I couldn't start a new save without bringing my favourite ever player. Graham Byron came through my intake at Cardiff Corries in FM22 and was with me for nearly 30 years as player and coach. Spoiler Housekeeping This is how I set up the game. Denmark (T2+), Sweden and Norway (T1) are set as playable leagues to hopefully create a realistic transfer market for Icelandic clubs. Spoiler Nations Iceland Tiers 3-6 and League Cups B and C were activates in the pre-game editor using Basic settings. The vanilla competitions were unaltered and no db edits have been made. The Cyprus top division (cup etc) was also activated using basic settings to create a slightly more realistic save. Spoiler Database First (Holiday) Season Well, this is how the club performed this season in real life. Thankfully the team was far more competitive in-game, but they did still finish bottom of the group. I took over at manager on 10 December 2023, at the end of the first season.

Popular Post DrJones
Oriental Dragon 2032/33 An amazing season for us in the top flight. We were fourth for almost the whole season and we deserved it. There are three teams unfortunately who are absolute mad. Five of our six losses came against Benfica, Amadora and Porto and I think we are a few years from competing against them. Especially next season when we will be playing in europa league for the first time. Squad Our starting XI are really good but the depth is absolute useless in many positions. Another recurring problem is that we start every season great with amazing moral and then every 28th august or something like that all of our influental players gets mad at the lack of depth in our squad and are whining for a month or so... Key players Our best player by far and I managed to renew his contract but I suspect this was our last season together. Our economy isn´t great and to upgrade our facilities and to cover up the cost for another new stadium that the board decided to build I think the best thing to do is to sell him. This guy has been the big difference from last season, 18 goals and 9 assists is amazing and he will carry the team for a long time ahead A big key to the way we want to play, everybody gives Huang Xun the ball and he´s smashing them all over the field. Popular Post JAwtunes
Afrika Reykjavik (Iceland) - FM24 - Season 1 (2024) to 5 (2028) The first five seasons were played very quickly. I didn't get too invested in the players as I was really just concentrating on making as much money as possible, in the hope that I would eventually be able to convince the board to allow us to set up a youth academy. Season 1 (2024) to Season 4 (2027) Back to back promotions, including an unbeaten season in 4. deild karla (fifth tier). Season 5 (2028) I requested a youth recruitment upgrade when we had £210k in the bank. The board initially rejected this but I was able to discuss this and they eventually agreed to set the academy up. This cost £80k on the day of the meeting. Spoiler We are renting FH's training ground as our new ground, as our ground had no seats and wasn't suitable for the 2nd tier. This was our first season not finishing as league winners and without promotion. Spoiler Spoiler We still haven't had an intake so I am not showing any player profiles yet, except Catano as he has won fans player of the year 4 times. I think the intake is due at the end of the season, so we should have a few new faces for season 6. SUMMARY
HenTheChicken
Honestly, embarrassing. We lost our GK and didnt really have a good replacement and it shows in us completely underperforming our xG and just having a bad time at it overall really. Good youth intake so I'm going for top 5 next season, predicted dead last again but I think eventually there has to be progress. League Performance Spoiler 1ST HALF: 2ND HALF: xG TABLE: Arguably not that bad a season if you're comparing it to last year, just underperformed and conceded a lot of silly chances in a year of tactical change Europe / Cups Spoiler We suck The Squad Spoiler Youth Intake Spoiler It was pretty good, no real stars though so until we get world beaters I'll hold off showing them all

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Berliner Athletik-Klub 07 - Season 2026/27 (Season 3) - 2. Bundesliga Squad | Transfers | Finances A much improved season for us, and I even got to include some more youth players now. If we can continue to finish this far away from the relegation spots going forward, I'm more than happy. These seasons are all about getting in the league money and improving the club as a whole, and I've only just begun that process. Not that the intake this season was much to write home about, but these things happen. At least we got a lot of new improvements to the club, so the intakes will come good eventually. This season actually started amazing. In the first 10 matches we won 5, drew 2, and lost 3. At that point we almost looked like we could challenge for the top spots, but we got a bit lucky in a few matches, so I knew we were bound to drop after that. And we did by not winning in 8 matches from there. So swings and roundabouts, I guess. Eventually we stabilized a bit and picked up points here and there to end where we did. My top 3 pick of players this season are: 1. Ufumwen Osawe - Never first choice, but always a nice replacement whenever he played. Very reliable. 2. Olivér Schindler - The work horse of the team, so he never really shines, but always does well enough. 3. Luis Zwick - A solid goalkeeper showing for us. Saves what he should, and a bit more at times. DFB-Pokal: We lost to Gladbach in the 1st round. Finally got loads of improvements accepted this season: Around the world U19s: They finished 2nd in the U19 Div. 2 Northeast this season and went into the promotion playoff again. There they once again lost, this time to Oldenburg. libbyshuss
TS Sporting - South Africa 2025/26 (Season 2) South African Premier Soccer League (tier 1) League Prediction: 16th (of 16) Actual Finish: 13th - survival! Survival was our aim but after our unlikely promotion last season, and my experiences in France, I was fully expecting to go straight back down. And, honestly, for most of the season it looked like that. But then, we had a weird run of 4 wins out of 5 games either side of christmas that put us 8th. Of the remaining 12 games, we managed zero wins and slipped further and further down towards relegation. Luckily, we ran out of games just as it was getting really scary and we managed to stay up. But we need to improve next season! Players Player of the season: Tim Vilane - GK kinda sums our season up that the keeper was our best performing player. he was certainly the most busy player! Top Scorer: Mojalefa Mokhobo - AMC I went back to a classic 4231 with Mojalefa taking the AMC spot where he really excelled. 14 goals, same as our first choice striker, but in 2 fewer games. Top assists: Mojalefa Mokhobo - AMC 7 assists as well! we'll need him on top form next season Only one youth player really broke through this season - the fantasically named Bonginkosi McMillan 25B playing as a deep lying playmaker. Only 16, he was really good and is now our best MC already. Edwin Msomi 25A broke through on the right wing towards the end of the season and looks good for a first XI spot next season. Youth No preview again for some reason. Not sure why. Oh well, I don't mind too much when the intakes look like this:- I signed them all again! Really filling out my youth teams and getting lots of options for the first team. The wage bill is flying up a bit though.... I do always enjoy seeing professional personalities - i got 4 this season! Career

glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 7 - Japan J3 League - End of Year Review League After accumulating 40 points in the first 19 games, we picked up a measly 25 points in our next 19 games. We went through some runs which left me confused, we turned from the best in the league to worst. Losing against relegation teams and looking like one of the worst teams in all of Japan. This ultimately left us in 4th. Playoff Semi Final We got Sagamihara in the Semis. Although frustratingly we were drawn as the away team due to the bonkers rules here in Japan. We were not a good away team this season..... As expected we lost yet again in the playoffs. I really think it would have been different if we were the home team.. We got the early goal, before 2 goals against the run of play took the wind out of our sails. We did fight back, but couldn't get the equalizing goal. So I guess it is an Eighth season in the J3 League. Really feeling like the game is against me right now We are still the most potent attacking team and I am changing up a few things in defence to see if that will give us the final push we need. The Squad We are seeing some good progress from our youth players and Jo Song-Chol (YP05B) our North Korean international looks like he may be the next to leave, after I promised him we would get promoted (to stop him leaving this season). Mitsuki Kojima (YP04A) & Takeshi Maki (YP04D) are our new Centre Back partnership for this year and have both been progressing well. Toshimitsu Kaji (YP06D) has just become our first choice left back and Takuya Ogasawara (YP06A) has become a good rotation option at full back. Our best eleven now includes 5 academy prospects and I think that could be 6-8 next year. The good thing about staying in the J3 League is that I have plenty of years to improve the young players ready for the step up to the J2 League. We did get a few players in the J3 team of the year! Which is nice, especially as 2 of them are youth academy players. Finances The downside of years in this league, is my finances (with all the youth recruitment and junior coaching upgrades) is dwindling. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost a player or two this off-season which may help with the finances, but hurt my chances of getting promoted. Could next year be the year??? We do have a new contract! The bookies clearly don't think so!! Goodbye Jo Song-Chol (YP05B) Again my Chairman sold him from underneath me and I really think I could have got a lot more (plus a better future sale clause).
tobiahabramson
Macclesfield Town FC Vanarama National League Season 11 2034-35 Results League: 5th Place League Playoffs First Playoff Round: Loss 0-2 v. Welling FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round: Win 2-1 v. Basford (National League North) First Round: Win 2-0 v. Cheltenham (National League) Second Round: Win 2-1 v. Preston (League One) Third Round: Loss 2-3 v. Ipswich (Championship) FA Trophy Third Round: Win 2-0 v. Hartlepool (National League) Fourth Round: Loss 0-3 v. Curzon Ashton (National League) Overview 2nd year in the National League went about the same as the first. Last year we finished 3rd and made it to the playoff finals, only to lose. We had lost no major players over the summer and I had high hopes we could repeat that success and make it through this year. The media had us finishing mid-table, but we did have a quite successful first few months, which saw us leap to first place through to the end of October. There were some worrying signs through that stretch - we had a tendency to concede in the last ten minutes of the game, including two back to back instances of conceding a penalty in the final minute of stoppage time, turning a win into a draw and a draw into a loss, that nearly made me through my computer through the window. We continued to have good form, staying within a game of the top place two teams through to the new year. Then something clicked - or some voodoo curse was put upon us by an opposing team. We lost our 3rd round FA Cup game to Championship side Ipswich (for the 2nd year in a row to the same club). Already getting some notifications about players needing rest, I took the opportunity to play a reserve side for the 4th round of the FA Trophy against 24th place Curzon Ashton - a big mistake. We had 0-3 walloping, which tanked our morale and was the start of an absolutely horrid February. For the next 11 games after that FA Trophy loss, we won only 1 game, drew 4 and lost 6, blowing any chance of winning the league (in what turned out to be a fairly tight and weak championship battle - the league winner finished with 87 points, where last season it was 100). We were able to rebound with a tactical switch to a 5 at the back (and cliched high pressing style) that saw us only lose 1 more league game in march and april. We ended up finishing 5th, before promptly losing in the first round of the playoff. I did get fairly FMed in the playoff game with 24 shots and a 2.7 xg vs a 1.3 xg, I have not decided which tactic to keep for next season, and whether I should start selling off a few of the players who are desperate to leave. In transfer I keep denying offers for them and they (probably rightfully so) get upset and cranky that they are denied a chance to move to a higher league. I think this was a big contributor to our February run of form. Our key players included perennial powerhouse Doug Mustoe - who won League Player of the Season with 19 goals, 9 assists and a 7.2 average rating, his partner Davide Santangelo, who had an off year for us but still put up 12 goals and 3 assists, and goal keep Caspar Brabin, who averaged a 6.95 and made several key penalty saves this year. Bad Run of Form Spoiler Tactics and Squad View Spoiler Key Players Spoiler Off the Field It was a successful off the field year with lots of goings on. A wonderful thing happened (twice!), the board approached me and asked if they think we should upgrade our youth facilities and our youth level - to which I of course agreed. We had our training facilities downgraded, but then the board immediately agreed to improve then again. We also had a stadium expansion - which included moving to an off site stadium for the year. Our new capacity is about 8.5k. Internationals We had one new player this season called up to a senior international team, back-up Left Back Francis Joseph switched his nationality from English to St Lucian and had his first cap this year, ending up with 9 for the team. Youth Intake A decent intake this year, better than we have had for a while. We continue to scream for centre-backs to come through through, we had a few decent defensive prospects but nothing mind blowing. MochaJo
Hey there, pretty much made an account for the purpose of also getting involved with this challenge as it seems like good craic. I'm playing in Japan and have joined Tokyo Musashino United FC, don't think I've made an error in setting the save up but do tell me if I'm talking out my arse. Bit concerning that I have no youth recruitment or coaching but I suppose I'll just have to beg enough for it to get added.

Bad Run of Form Inhalt unsichtbar machen Tactics and Squad View Inhalt unsichtbar machen Key Players Inhalt unsichtbar machen Off the Field It was a successful off the field year with lots of goings on. (I again forgot to take a snap of the actual intake, but we had 3 elite talents) Inhalt unsichtbar machen Great update! You are doing so well. Popular Post xQrtx
SG Sacavenense - Year 5 2028/29 Liga Portugal 2 - 6th Started the season out amazingly again, with wins against the later promoted, Tondela and Santa Clara and a draw against Alverca had us top a month into the season. It was pretty obvious at this point that relegation wasn't going to be a threat at all unless we had some serious injury problems. I never expected to be in the promotion race as I didn't feel like the squad was deep enough outside of our star players, but I was wrong. Our finishing had improved with only a -4 xG underperformance compared to the -11 from the previous season. We dropped out of the promotion race after a big dip in form mid season, which left us floating around the mid table and a late promotion push wasn't really on the cards until we really picked things up during the final month of the season. About half way through the season our star player Jose Gomes 25-A who at the time had 1.5 years remaining on his contract, had finally dropped all issues he had at the club. (I rejected a low offer from Augsburg who he wanted to join) After around a full season of waiting I was finally able to approach him to get him tied down to the club longer. Unfortunately, he wouldn't re-sign unless we got some better players. So now at this stage if we wanted any chance to keep Jose, we would need to turn our form around and catch back up to the promotion spots which we were around 8-11 points off of. We obviously weren't able to get back on track soon enough and now he will likely have to be sold this upcoming summer. Learned my lesson to include extension clauses in players I don't expect to become world beaters right away, as every time i did try to negotiate with him in previous years, he demanded a low release clause which now with him being unhappy for the past 2 seasons, and outgrowing the club in the meantime, has ultimately lead to us having to sell him, as even if we did get promoted with him next season, there's no way he doesn't get signed on a pre contract. Club The club have given me a new contract which expires in 2032 with a 2 year extension upon promotion. The board have invested a little more money to help with club debts, and prize/tv money removes around €1,000,000 of our debt. With Jose Gomes' upcoming sale likely to be at least around 1m, it should clear up our remaining debt, and I plan to request improvements in junior coaching and a new coaching license. Top Rated Profiles Spoiler Artur Pedro is someone I'm excited about, his technicals are already very solid and I'm hoping he can grow a lot this year and become a starter for us soon. Going to focus on his composure and decisions in training then look to improve his physicals. He'll probably get quite a few games in the first team with our backup striker leaving on a free. Vieira is definitely a few years away from even getting a look in the first team. Maybe a smaller Sergio Busquets for us? Going to retrain this guy as a BBM as we dont really have a lot of CM prospects coming through Youth Spotlight Spoiler Mubenga is someone I've really liked since he first came through. He's struggled with injuries which has slowed his development but he carved out a spot in the first team after many very good performances. Hoping he can progress a lot this upcoming season to fill the void from Jose Gomes' likely departure. Halter came through last year's intake and developed really well and he's going to be our backup CB next season. Imhof has developed really well over the past year and I've used him on the right wing and at striker in a different formation and he's been very solid. Hoping he can make a huge leap this upcoming season Botelho is another player who had some very solid progression. He'll have to become our back up right back. I'm hoping he'll improve his crossing and dribbling this year, which will be vital if he wants to take that next step and replace our aging LB in the coming years. Season History Manager History Next Season Preview Not expecting promotion, just want our guys to start developing to turn us into a ready team to achieve promotion and survive relegation the following year. I'm afraid of getting promoted too quickly and getting battered because we still have 1 or 2 4th and 3rd division quality players in our XI. Media prediction is dead last again, we will prove them wrong again. With Jose Gomes likely gone we have to hope our small amount of CM prospects can develop quickly or hope for another CM gem through the intake. On the bright side we did have our first player in any season preview Media Dream XI, our starboy Fernando Neto.

leyrtj
Lam Dong - Season 13 & 14 - 2032 & 2033 - Vietnam - Wake UP 247 V. League 1 (Tier 1) - 2nd and 1st Season 13 Played this season fairly quickly as we weren't in Asia - despite coming 2nd the previous year. We lost the league to Ha Noi FC on the last day of the season and then lost the cup final to Ha Noi FC. Vietnam's coefficients have improved so Asian qualification will go down to 4th place in the league next season Season 14 We ran away with the league as Ha Noi FC didn't dominate the league as per the previous two seasons. Even with rotation in the league, it was fairly comfortable. I feel we went up a step this year. The season prediction jumped from 11th out of 14 to 3rd, and our board's expectation went through mid-table to qualify for the AFC Champions League through the League. We'd put some young players with talent into the first team. This makes us weaker in the short term but means they will develop quicker. We'll do the same next year, and we finally had a decent midfielder come through the youth intake. In the AFC Champions League we put up another good showing but weren't good enough to go through the group stage. It was frustrating as the away game against Adelaide United I had 7 players away on international duty. A draw in that game would have seen us through. Still, I feel progress and I think we should start qualifying for the knock out soon. I think in a couple of seasons, we'll start having a chance at finishing this.

Popular Post darren1983
2025/26 Season Review Vanarama National league League - On paper an excellent season after promotion. And to be fair an 8th placed finish was excellent but also annoying. Up to December we were actually fighting for the title but we fell away. Cup runs, injuries, suspensions and the usually hectic lower league fixture program killed our squad. From the middle of December till the middle of March we played every single weekend and midweek. My poor team were on fumes as we have a very weird squad. Very few players in the early to mid 20's range as we're either 30+ or 18 and under so we did give lots of young players some game time this season but it did harm us at times. Hopefully next year the squad will be more filled out. We lost 4 of our last 5 games to drop out of the playoffs completely and with our depth issues that was probably for the best. FA Cup - A great run for us as we beat a Premier League team in the 3rd round in Forest. We then drew Man Utd but sadly for our bank manager it was at home and a fairly strong United team smashed us. FA Trophy - a very good run in this saw us reach the final. An injury time winner gave us the trophy for the first time. Transfers - Loaned out a young striker to get him some game time. Otherwise nothing at all Finances - Cup runs and a trip to Wembley gives us a lovely healthy balance Youth Intake - The preview looked good and the intake was...fine? Maybe I had higher hopes? Or I've just forgot what good means at this level Robbie Harrold 26A - a DM that can't tackle but those mentals are lovely Tom Beadle 26B - a ok looking full back. Can play both sides and we need players there Michael Fagan 26C - Coaches think he's a striker but I think he'll be better option out wide as an inside forward if anything Gracjan Gorecki 26D - wide option as well Louis Bayliss 26E - coaches think CB but I think he's much more of a left back and again, depth there is needed Career Overview Season League Position Youth Coaching Youth Recruitment Youth Facilities Traning Facilities Notes & Achievements 2024/25 Vanarama National League South 1st Average Good Basic Below Average First coaching badge 2025/26 Vanarama National League 8th Good Above Average Basic Below Average FA Trophy Winners. Popular Post Daddy
2033/34 Season Review - Belgian Third Tier - Season 10 (I think I misnumbered a previous update) What does it look like when you set the league record for draws? I needed to get promoted to hopefully stay professional. That didn't happen. Neither happened as the club is now semiprofessional again. A very good overall intake. Two players proving immediate impact and already fending off offers. Running a loan farm. One big sale, which I really didn't want to do, but it was too much and he wouldn't stay. There are a few good clauses out there waiting to trigger. 2034/35 Season Preview: The squad is mostly the same as last season record setting team. Hopefully, we move some of those draws to wins and maybe go up. This is a pivotal season for the club and the save in general. With the club going back to semi-pro I have a club full of players not willing to sign contract extensions. The end of the season may be a bloodbath. The lesson learned in Belgium is not to save the money to get and stay professional but immediately dump into facilities to max intakes asap to build rep and clauses. The problem is I get all these good players I lose for pennies. I'll be fine for this season, but the upcoming offseason is looming ominously. Edit: Forgot to include this. PandaQC
Minebea Mitsumi FC (Japan) - Season 6 - 2029 Painful. I did not expect that we would go through that much suffering. From start to end we were in a battle to avoid relegation, and we barely escaped. We were lucky because they were some atrocious teams this year in J1 League. 35 pts were sufficient to avoid relegation. This was really stressful though. We got some injuries, some young players did not met expectations, some legacy players are getting old and slowing down... They were games we were just unlucky. And then the morale got low. Tough year. J1 League results Spoiler Youth intake A golden generation. This is by far the best intake i've had in this save. For the first time we have two players coming from outside of Japan. One player fron South Korea, and one player from North Korea. Big DC with pace Byung-Min 29.1 will be starting right away in the first squad. Striker Shigemitsu 29.3 will see playing time next year for sure. Two things that annoys me though. Year after yearI keep getting 1m65 DCs with 3 in Jumping. It just does not work. I have to retraing them as full backs. Also, pesonalities are quite atrocious. This is disappointing since I have selected my staff carefully to only get coaches with good personalities... Spoiler Finances and facilities Directors have accepted multiple facilities upgrades. All of our money was put in those and we don't have much yet. However we can see that youth intakes are getting much better each year. Our net debt in around zero. We still have more than 7M of debt to pay. Can't wait to have this debt totally paid off. Squad Not satisfied with this group. They underperformed. Some young players with bad personalities did not progress at all (Doi 27.1). Some others are too injury-prone (Inamoto 25.1). My two starting DCs (Kato 28.9 and Hata 27.3) were awful. Not enough potential. Too limited. Three players have made some strides: Nishiyama 26.1, Matsunaga 28.2 and Sasaki 26.2. They will be given more responsabilities next year. The other ones probably won't make the team. Spoiler Transfers Spoiler Next year preview The team needs a rebuild. Some players have underachieved and we just got ourselves a golden generation of young players. Some legacy players are getting old. I will review our options position by position and come up with a new group. Next year will be about avoiding relegation again. And continue to develop the club by improving Youth Recruitment, repay our debt, improve reputation, get new sponsor deals. Popular Post Josef96
This is my first time attempting the Youth Academy Challenge, and what better country to do so than England? After setting up the save and surveying potential landing spots, one club in particular caught my attention. I had no doubt this was the club I wanted to embark on this journey with. Dulwich Hamlet Season 1 | 2024/25 Vanarama National League South Competitions | Finances | Squad | Transfers | Manager Profile| Facilities Season Summary I've already played through my first season, which saw us finish right outside the playoff spots in 8th. If my first-choice goalkeeper William Lakin wasn't poached by Grimsby during the pre-season, we might have finished higher in the table. Still a decent first season, as the season previews had us finishing all the way down in 17th. We also managed two decent cup runs before bowing out against Blackpool in the 1st Round in the FA Cup and Newport in the 5th round in the FA Trophy. Standout performer of the season was without a doubt our 33 year old striker Danny Mills, who ended the season with a tally of 40 goals in 48 apps. I am worried about how we’re going to cope once he decides to hang up the boots (we’ve already had one key player, Elliott Romain, decide to retire). Other players will have to step up when that happens, but luckily he’s still with us for next season. Another standout performer was a player from our year 0 youth intake, Derek Hayward. Hayward started the season from the bench, but his role on the team grew as his development skyrocketed throughout the season, which also saw him awarded with a cap for Belgium U19s National Team! I'm currently studying for a National A license during the summer break, and I also managed to convince the board to give me two upgrades to junior coaching and youth recruitment respectively, so nice progress on that front. Youth Intake Preview | Intake A good intake with some players that I'm hopeful will play a part in the first team in the upcoming season. I am a bit disappointed that I didn't get this great goalkeeper prospect that I was promised, as I'm currently really lacking a quality goalkeeper. Kingsley Temitope was the only goalkeeper coming through the intake, and I don't see him becoming a great goalkeeper with his personality, but we'll see how he develops. One of the most exciting prospects is Azard Best 25-2 from Barbados (what a hairstyle btw.), who's already making positive contributions to the first-team, grabbing himself 2 goals and a Player of The Match. I am also excited about the Portuguese striker Diogo Martinho 25-5, who I hope will pick up the mantle from Danny Mills as our target forward, once he retires. He is currently not very good, but I have high hopes that he'll develop into a great striker with his 5 star potential ability and professional personality. We'll see how the rest get on throughout the season, there will definitely be opportunities for them to break into the first-team. Stats & Bingo (Kudos to WhiteCat33 for creating the spreadsheet. I hope it's okay that I'm using it.) (1/100)
Matsusipida
IFK Lidingö Season 10 / 2033 After promotion and turning pro we ran into all sorts of trouble. Early in the season all other clubs wanted to buy most of our players with ridiculous cheap offers. So we ended up having most of our squad moaning about leaving. obviously we couldn't just sell our first 11. One reason for desire to leave must be our really low reputation. We were playing in second tier (top 32) but our reputation was only ranked number 72. The spirit was low and we couldn't win matches even when we would dominate them. we were doomed to relegation scrab. two rounds to go we were 6 points below relegation line. we managed to win the penultimate match and climb within reaching distace of staying up. in the last round we took 1-0 lead and all other results were going our way, untill disaster striked once again. Spoiler We finished the league on last position with only 20 points from 30 matches. in XPTS table we were 14 points higher so we could have done a lot better. Board was far from pleased with Per-Olevs performance and they called up five emergency meetings during the season. I always told them they wouldn't find anyone better to replace club icon Per-Olev and they everytime agreed with that. Spoiler Spoiler Marcus Wikman 30B was the onle real higlight in squad. He scored 17 goals and was league top goal scorer. Jonatan Sletsjøe 30A was the dissapointment after becoming complacent with new contract and turning from resolute to fairly determined. He missed trainings 3 times due to some nightclub parties. Spoiler Spoiler Youth intake was decent at most. we haven't done any progress in youth setup for years. Samuel Waldholm 33A has potential but needs some mentoring. Spoiler Spoiler transfers Spoiler financially we are fine. yout axpences skyrocketed after turning pro but for the first time we received some price money from league. Spoiler facilities are the same and after elections the new board deceided to stop the affiliation we had with Norby IF. Gundo
Frigg Oslo – Season Two (2025) – Promoted! Strange season! Last year, we occupied top spot for much of the season before falling away and losing the title in the final quarter of the season; this season, we were never really competing for top spot at any point, but some how won 6 of our last 7 matches, which in turn ensured us a first place finish. That, of course, would not have happened without Kongsvinger – who sat top of the pile for 21 of the 26 game rounds – self destructing near the end. The club from Innlandet County lost all of their last five games, handing us the title. In the Cupen, we made it to the fourth round before losing out to Vindbjart. The most notable aspect of this cup run was penalty win over Eliteserien outfit, Tromsø. It was bittersweet beating Brodd Stavanger in the third round because I used live about 300m or so from their stadium. Player-wise, we have only one or two youth players in the fringes of the squad, but no one stands out as being that talented at this stage. Of the senior players, Ulrik Ferrer and Marius Cassidy ran the show from an attacking point of view, but it was the latter who picked up the club's player of the year and young player of the year. Next season fills me with dread! Not really sure how we can survive in the OBOS-ligaen (the second tier of Norwegian football) with this squad. Wish me luck!

MochaJo
Tokyo Musashino United FC Season 1| 2024 Meiji-Yasuda J.League Division Three League: The season preview had us finishing 20th at odds of 350-1 to win the league, on the final day we managed to find ourselves in 10th position, slap bang in the middle of the table. The start of the season looked promising and we got off to a good start with our results essentially rotating between a win, a loss and a draw. This continued until about June where we sustained a rather poor run of form in the league, losing 8 out of nine. Results stabilised towards the end of August with three draw which was then followed by a fantastic run where we won 6 in 7. The season ended with us being in very average form. I wasn't able to get the XG table to show at the end of the season but I will say that when I last checked on the 36th match we were predicted to finish 11th so not bad. What let us down was mainly our lack of squad depth which left us with a lot of games were our players were only half fit. As an aside, a club takeover occurred and the new owner invested a whopping 22K, what a hero. J.League Cup: We didn't manage to far in this competition and got knocked out in the second round by FC Osaka over two legs, probably for the best as there is no way my squad could take the added games as it was. Emperors Cup: Much like the J.League Cup we didn't go far in the Emperor's Cup either, after squeaking through on pens against Numazu we got dismantled by Yokohama FC. Transfers: No transfers to speak of. Squad: This season I relied heavily on my strikers to do the job to get us results, we played a very basic 4-4-2 and essentially played on the counter all season with little tweaks made depending on my opponent. Ishihara and Oguchi made out like bandits with each having over 30 G+A and Goto backing them up with an impressive 14 from the DM position. Going forward I am going to need the academy to drum up replacements for them as they are 32, 29 and 32 respectively. Ishihara might stay useful for awhile yet with his 17 Natural fitness but the clock is still ticking. On a positive note we have two 19 year old legacy players in Kosei Kumagamai and Komasa Shiga who should be able to bridge that gap with their potential. Finances: Finances have taken a slight dip due to improvements to 1 stage improvements to our youth facilities, youth coaching and youth recruitment but they are of course still largely healthy. Youth Intake: The HOYD described in my preview that we had an 'excellent intake' but I found it hard to agree when looking at the letter gradings. Come November and I didn't even get an email until the intake had been evaluated. Intake in full... 1 2. I'm not going to sit here and act like I'm excited about the whole group but at least we actually have some newgens to develop now. Every single player was signed. Hajime Iwasawa Y24A - Hajime would have been an undeniable hit if not for the fact that he has quite a bad personality, at least I'm pretty sure its bad. He has a nice all around base of technical and mental stats and will be getting trained as an AP. Katsuhiko Uchimura Y24B - I was rather pleased to see Uchimura come through as I didn't want to end up in a situation where I didn't have a decent youth GK, hes also got a good personality too so I can probably expect him to reach his potential. Kiyoshi Sadatomi Y24C - Kiyoshi also has a fairly professional personality and seems like he will be a great tackler once he develops with that tackling, aggression and bravery. Shame about his aerial game. Kimiyasu Kusumi Y24D - Kusumi has a similar profile to Hajime but of course is less talented, I'll likely train him as a DLP as his stat profile lends itself quite well to that role. He is unambitious but hey what are you gonna do. Kojiro Matsushima Y24E - Kojiro's 14 work rate and 16 teamwork stuck out to me, combined with an okay physical spread I think I might get some decent use out of him as long as he develops okay, could do without him being fickle but clearly I wasn't getting much luck this intake. Manager: Was only able to get the board to agree to one coaching course towards the tail end of the season so haven't got much more stats than where we started, hopefully they'll be a little bit more lenient next season. Plans for Next Season: As far as next season is concerned the main aim is to integrate the younger players and get them closer to first team level, I think I could perhaps squeak into the playoffs next year with a bit of luck but honestly if were to get promoted I can only see us going straight back down, hopefully I'll get luckier with the intake and we can really get the ball rolling. Newgen Faces - Finally, I've made an album with all the faces I generated for my first youth intake should anyone else want to use them.

So the issue isn't that the club goes bankrupt, but you can't improve the club due to lack of funds, and if you don't improve the club, the level of youngsters you get will be limited unless you just get lucky again and again. I hope it's okay that I'm using it.) (1/100) Loving the graphics and stuff - out of curiosity how are you downloading and tracking player stats - do you do it manually or is there a way to do it with the FM system? That sums it up. My best player from the last intake is a "First National Amateur standard player" according to the coach's feedback for current ability. That's the division I play in. He immediately began receiving transfer offers that I've been able to reject but with a promise to sell at the highest value I could get. $35K. The thing is I want to sell him to sustain the club. In 3-5 years for a few million. However, at 16 the value is super low. I'll get a good clause but the values don't increase fast enough and they get lost in the shuffle for the good Belgium clubs and most never develop. I have had one big clause come in which I now realize I spent poorly. I do have a big one out there now though. An 18-year-old, I got 6 games out of before, Brugge came in with a massive $8.5K offer. 50% profit clause, he's currently valued $39-49M. I'd have rather had the last two seasons of him in my first team and sell him now for $10M. If I turn down those offers they almost immediately go into Exploring Options so it's basically losing all these players for lottery tickets or keeping an unsettled team I lose for free.
leyrtj
Lam Dong - Season 15 - 2034 - Vietnam - Wake UP 247 V. League 1 (Tier 1) - 1st Close to completion! I really thought we were going to do it. We won the league and cup double again fairly easily. We've now got enough strength and depth in the team that we can rotate in the league and still do well. Also, AFC Champions League qualification now goes down to 3rd place so we don't necessarily need to win the league. In the AFC Champions we had a really good run to the semi finals. We easily beat Wuhan away in the first group stage game and it was clear we'd stepped up a level. By the 4th game we were through with Jeonbuk topping the group. We faced last year's losing finalists Shangdong Luneng in the second round. It was a tight encounter and could have gone either way, but better finishing put us through. In the quarters we faced Japanese team Kawasaki Frontole, but the Asian games took our 5 best players. We somehohw won the first leg 2 - 0, then our players returned for the second leg (though they were tired), and we held on. In the Semis, it was Jeonbuk again, who have won the competition twice in the last 5 years. We edged a close first leg 1 - 0, but then we had both our midfielders suspended for the second leg. It was close again, but they went ahead in the tie late in the second half then scored two on the break. Still, overall I feel we can now compete at this level. We need a bit more quality in the team and a bit of luck and I feel the end is in sight. We had an interesting youth intake, with the first two players from outside Vietnam, plus a Vietnamese with French nationality. Luka Etterlin looks a great prospect at this level. He's already on a nice long contract so hopefully we can hold on to him. We also got some youth in midfield. Much need. Popular Post BustaRaymes
Smethwick Rangers 2033/34 Midlands Premier League Division One (I think. Something like that.) Our first season after bouncing straight back up was a difficult one, but we were pretty decent all season. There's still not a lot of room for improvement though, even with a takeover: Our debt were just restructured into one big 800K loan instead of 2 smaller ones. Still can't handle the 14K monthly payoff though so no improvements in the near future. Squad Feeney is still carrying us but we do have some players that are starting to raise their output. Wignall, Myers and Wigley are decent players that are doing a good job for us these days. Agbozo is retiring, so we're down to one OG player in Feeney. Parton showed up with 7 goals as well. Played some games in midfield, but most of his goals were headers from corners. Transfers Horne was a decent prospect but he wanted to play more while being 18 and not there yet. We can't have anyone throwing a fit so he went on. Youth intake As always, not a lot there. Awemu seems a decent ball-winner, which gives us a bit more room to change our tactical approach. Martin looks nice as well, although more of a fullback than a CB. Douglas has a lot to learn and is Unambitious, but I don't dislike him. His free kick rating could be a weapon. Bertrand is another PF, like we didn't have enough of those already. Yilmaz has a decent starting set of attributes already.
Sw1
Hey everyone Have taken Southend United all the way to prem, then been relegated, promoted again and now finally related once more. Season 16 has just finished. Team seems to stroll through the championship. But in the prem we are just getting smashed. Have tried various tactical combinations but ultimately my squad just can’t compete. Got a star player in CM who now has 4 England caps. Couple of other elite talents with wonderkid status but looking at the comparison data on squad planner we are well short in all areas. Just wondering if becoming an established prem team is a sticking point for others on this challenge also or am I just useless! And any tips? I know morale is big impact, In a conventional save I’d obviously improve my squad and sell unhappy players. Here I go on a bad run, my best players then want to leave but I can’t sell them as my youth aren’t ready for prem football yet. Would just add I find the GK position hardest. Developing a quality GK seems challenging. I’ve currently got a championship level GK and he just seems to concede for fun at times. Popular Post dkouv
Brora Rangers – Season 13 (2036/37) Premiership After a tight race for the european spots we managed to finish 2nd behind Celtic again, and seal CL qualification. We also got to the final of the (smaller) Viaplay cup, which we lost to Rangers. Europe A decent qualifying draw ensured we went through to the group stage again, where we surprised everyone including myself by qualifying for the knockout rounds and even (rather luckily) edging FC Bayern, before losing to Man City in the round of 16. I’m adding some more continental leagues to make this a bit more realistic next season. Players Connor Malpas 06a (ST) was on fire this year with 28 goals in all competitions. From the youngsters, last intake’s Owen Young 12b (DL/DMC) is developing very nicely and looks set to become a key player for us. Youth intake (preview) A bit disappointing given our improvements in facilities, and very focussed on central midfielders! To the extent that at least one of them should come good, bringing us much-needed reinforcements in this position. Still, I'm hoping some defenders will arrive in the next few years. Facilities I keep upgrading facilities - youth facilities are stuck on average due to the well-known bug or intentional design feature, but training facilities keep improving, and we’re expanding the stadium a bit too. Transfers Nothing of note.
