Padders
18 hours ago, dkouv said: Brora Rangers – Season 22 (2045/46) League Another treble, pretty dominant throughout really. Europe I thought that last year’s extra time loss to Leeds was painful, but this was definitely worse. Up against Inter in the quarters, and by far our best shot at winning the CL since all the big guns somehow got knocked out. We win the home leg 2-0, second leg disaster strikes, sending off and 3-0 down. We then peg it back to 3-2 and into injury time, about to go through on aggregate when Inter score 2 goals in added time, 96th and 98th minute out of 98, and the last one is an own goal from our substitute right back who was only on because of the sending off… Pff, a rough one to swallow for sure but since my save got corrupted half-way through the season and I managed to recover it using an old backup, I’m happy to just be able to keep playing for now anyway )) Players Andy Morton 17a (AMRLC) is really amazing attribute-wise, up there with the best players I’ve had in this challenge. No way he’s signing a new contract but I got him tied up for a good 7 years (including the extension) so I aim to get the most out of him while I can! Youth intake (preview) This is actually a pretty good intake, the star ratings are just completely skewed by Andy Morton’s ability - and we got a keeper and a full back, two positions where we desperately need reinforcements. Now, if only some centre backs would arrive then we could really challenge in Europe. Facilities No upgrades but a stadium expansion is planned for next year. Transfers Nothing of note. BustaRaymes
FC Vaajakoski 2041 Finnish Premier League Missing out on European football while finishing 4th is harsh. It had all to do with our full schedule. These final fixtures are in october, right along with European games, and our squad is not large enough to keep getting the results we need. Also, the final games were played during international games, which made our squad look like this at one point: Horrible. Europa League A good showing here. I gave up the Lyon game to rest our starting 11 for the league playoffs and the rest were just great. With only games against AS Roma and Leverkusen left we're pretty solid in the ranking. Squad We're really growing and we have the players to show for it. We lack good fullbacks and are very short in midfield, but the first 11 are more than decent at the moment. Kähkönen is turning into a very good goalkeeper. Still only 20, I'm surprised the bigger clubs aren't sniffing around him yet. Tuovinen came in as a fullback but is excelling at centre-back. He might well be one of those players that is really good for us, but not good enough to be approached by big clubs. Koski, Nyholm and Kuusela are our machine room. They fit together very well and have good footballing abilities. I'd like Finland regular Koski to have a bigger part in our build-up play, but that hasn't been working very well yet. Nyholm is the playmaking dynamo, Kuusela is the talented one who's being followed by Juve, AC Milan and (of course) Napoli. But he's staying here, mainly as we don't have a replacement at all. Nykänen had a stellar season with 15/17 G/A and developed into a key player, while Byman made his Finland debut. Earlier than expected, but guess where we popped up: Maggi left between this screenshot and the season ending, but having 2 on here is a good sign! Transfers As said, Maggi was sold. I didn't want to but the board was starting to intervene and in the end I couldn't resist getting out of financial trouble instantly. Upgrades incoming! Youth intake We do need those upgrades as we hit our ceiling when it comes to youth intakes. Kosonen looks very nice, although in our best filled position, and I can maybe see Virtanen make it as we lack players in midfield.

Matsusipida
IFK Lidingö Season 14 / 2037 Last season we only survived in the 2nd tier trough relegation playoffs. this year I was hoping for a stable midtable position. Team just kept winning and winning and we finnished the league in 3rd position and qualified to promotion playoffs. we really denied the odds as we had preseason odds of 250 and we overachieved the XG tablle by 10points. Spoiler First leg in promotion playoffs we draw 0-0 with IK Sirius. So we are heading to the away leg with a change to promote. In the away leg we were just outplayed by a better team. Spoiler In the cup we one draw and 2 losses in the group stage and qualified to next yaers group stage. Jonathan Sletsjøe 30A was our best player once again with 14 goals and 10 assists. Younger Söderström brother Andreas was in a fine form as well with 11 goals and 7 assists. Simon Didrik 30C has developed nicely and is now one of the best GKs in the league. Jesús Larsson 35B has made remarkable progress ans is outgrowing this club. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Youth intake. Johan Svensson 37A is looking promising. he was driven when he came in, but squad is just filled with low ambition and determination players so he aint that driven anymore. He needs some retraining as he is just too short for a CD role. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Transfers Spoiler No changes in facilities of finances we still have by far the cheapest team in the league Spoiler

toshimitzou1
FC Jazz Season Review: 2024/25 Absolutely sensational second season for my Finnish part-timers: Massive boon for our existing youth to get full time training: We had a really strong finish to the season - moving from third place at the end-of-season to promotion league winners! Another excellent intake: Transfer History: Tactical Revolution I played through the first season with a 343 DM Narrow which, whilst defensively solid, relied heavily on counter attacks, often from opposition set-pieces, to create chances. Our form tapered off towards the end of the first season so I was already thinking ahead to what our plan would be. With two quality CAMs coming through the first intake I went down a path of no return. abandoning defensive resolve and choosing a Box 4222 DM AM. This is what secured us promotion and the divisional cup: Against weaker opposition we tend to absolutely dominate possession and create a lot of good chances: And against better opposition we hold our own: The problems are going to start next season where we play superior opposition whom are strong on the flanks. This is what happened when we me a stronger team in the cup: Literally every time they won the ball they were creating good chances. What does this mean for the rest of the save? I'm usually fairly conservative in my tactical approach, with my two YAC successes ( FC Aigaelo and Haukur) being based on dogmatic counter-attacking football. With a complete lack of quality in defence, consisting a back four and midfielders lacing any mental fortitude, my arm had been turned towards an attacking approach. Having seen the output this season, with players still be retrained into accomplished, I am going to stick with the box. With every intake I am now retraining wide players either to CAM and DM roles, with an eye out for wingers who can play in defence. Here is an example of a winger I am training to play RWB - Attack: And a winger whom may make a decent AM - Support: A great season and we are now professional so our youth has an immediate chance to shine!!! Best start getting some staff in.

CJ'43
Kavala Football Club / Αθλητικός Όμιλος Καβάλα Season 17 - 2040/41 Schedule / Squad / Transfers / Finances / Manager Season Summary: This season, we didn't get close to the top. We finished the regular phase in 5th place, and the players felt really tired after playing so many games in Europe and in the cup matches. We managed to improve to 4th place in the championship group, which got us into the Europa League. It felt like a step back, especially after being in the top three for the last two years. We started off in the Champions League against Sturm, winning both games 1-0. Then, in the playoff before the group stage, we played against Galatasaray. We won at home, but we were pretty disappointed when we lost 6-0 in the away match, which meant we moved to the Europa League. In the Europa League, things went much better. We easily made it to the knockout rounds by finishing 2nd in the group phase, just behind Chelsea. We won 7 out of 8 games, only losing to Villarreal. We beat Dinamo Zagreb, Real Sociedad, and Chelsea (we became the only team to defeat the blues in the competition) to reach the final, where we faced AEK, another Greek team. In the final game in Glasgow, we sadly lost 2-1. Our fantastic run in the Europa League helped us climb up the European rankings. Now, we're the highest-ranked Greek team at 27th in Europe. This also helped Greece move up to 6th place in the UEFA coefficient table, which means three Greek teams will qualify for the UEFA Champions League in 2042/43. Next season, we'll have three teams in the league phase, as we had the second-highest coefficient. In terms of our reputation, we climbed to 4th place in Greece, surpassing the 20-time Greek champions Panathinaikos. In this year's Europa League semi-final, were we faced Efthymis Christous, one of the top players that our academy produced, that moved to London from Benfica for 57 million euros. Individually, we had some standout players. Dimitris Chatzigiannis was the 2nd best youth player in the league, and Nikos Tsokaktsidis was the second-best goalkeeper. Alexandros Donis won the title of the best Greek player in the league and made it to the best XI, while Dimitris Manafis came in 3rd. Once again, I was honored to win the Manager of the Year award. This season, I even received offers from the Mexican and Croatian Football Associations to become their manager. Gersi Kuqi, with an average of 7.18 points per game, and Christos Omiridis, with 18 goals, were our most consistent players. After the stadium expansion at the start of the season, we keep improving the facilities, this time, adding 4000 more seats to the stadium. Youth intake: Our academy had some exciting new talents, with the most promising being Petros Mavrogenidis, Sotiris Mantalos, and Borislav Panayotov. This year, our U19's won their eighth consecutive title. Team history: Manager history: Edited February 24 by CJ'43

libbyshuss
Lyra Lierse - Belgium Pro Jupiler League - 2037/38 League finish: 7th Second Phase finish: 1st Really good season in the end, despite a poor start. We narrowly missed out on getting into the championship group but headed into the second group in first place. We were really good throughout and finished first, heading into a european play-off with Charleroi which we lsot 3-2 to a 91st minute goal so for the second season we miss out on European football by a goal! Youth another really good preview and intake, which is just as well given the rate we're losing players Finances This is where the real challenge in Belgium lies. The board have a habit of requesting a negative transfer balance and I always try to get it removed only this time around they would not let me. So..... we started with a transfer budget of -2m I had to raise £2m, which wasn't too hard, so I set about narrowing the squad down and sold ten players over the summer for a total of 3m. Only the board did not release any of those funds to the transfer budget, so it still stood at -2m! which meant, during January.... But they never release any of the funds to the transfer budget, so I can never clear it! So i had no choice but to hawk my best players around so i could get a decent price and sell on rather than have the board sell them for peanuts. Noah Dannemark 33B went to Standard for 3m +50% sell on, and the board released 150k towards the budget! Chris Kabeya 34B wanted to leave and I manged to get a £13m + 50% offer in from 4 clubs and he rejected them all! and the board accepted a loan offer from Gent and off he went! I got away lightly in the end..... but honestly, it's things like this makes Belgium so difficult and frustrating but also a real challenge. vikeologist
Vikeologist's Víkingur 2029 Intake Reports Now that I’m almost 6 seasons into the save, it’s easier to assess the intake because they’re not full of 5 star potentials, and also it might be interesting to review intakes from 5 years earlier. I think last time I did the challenge, I did my reviews after 4 seasons. Yp24 Review There were 5 with 5 star potential. Sæmundur Bjarnason 24a – Attacking midfielder who was a starter for 2 years until better options came through. I play him when I can because he still has massive potential, but he’s quite alienated because he wants to be a starter. Kristófer Máni Sigurðsson 24b – Central midfielder I converted into a right winger. Was a sub for a couple of seasons, but hasn’t developed. His contract has expired, and his future with us is somewhat shaky. GuðmundurBöðvar Gunnarsson 24c – Fullback who usually starts at right back. Gísli Sveinsson 24d – Central defender who occasionally played when those ahead of him were injured or suspended. Hasn’t developed. Currently out on loan (at Afrika) where he’s doing well. Arnar Már Ingvarsson 24e – striker who’s spent the last few seasons on loan, but has never appeared for us. There’s a few other players who are now with other clubs after not making it with us. The 24fr has left football. So, all in all, a disappointing intake, given the opportunities they had as the first intake to a squad with hardly any players. Just goes to show that you can’t read anything into the plethora of 5 stars potentials you get early on. YP29 Honestly, this looks like a promising bunch. Konráð Freyr Eiríksson 29a – Central defender who will probably be a starter straight away next season. Óskar Stefánsson 29b – Probably start him at left back straight away, as my current 29 year old starter isn’t much better. 29c and 29d both have Resolute personalities which is potentially helpful, but frankly another promising goalie is useless at the moment. 2 of my 6 coaches are GK coaches though, so the promising goalies are developing a bit.
chsot68
2027/28, Season 4 Season 4 ended in disappointment. We once again ended up with more points than the previous season, but still fell in the table. However, the new GK has been a good addition to the side. We are also starting to add some good depth in defense as well. I ended this season with some hope that we will be able to rotate better next year to try to keep the squad fresh for the run in in March and April. We are also moving up the table in terms of the season predictions. All the way to 14th for the coming year! I've actually already played most of Season 5, and will post another update later today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed! -R
Riebow
Olot UE Season Review (39/40) League: Same amount of wins as last season, but we finish one spot lower. We started the season well, hammering Barcelona 3-0 at home and I though we might be on for something special. Especially as the Big Two took a slow start. However, we couldn't keep the form going with a 5th place finish as a result. Copa: No luck again this season, as we were knocked out by GIrona on penalties in the quarter finals. Spoiler Europe A much better run in Europe, narrowingly missing out on automatic qualification. We were knocked out by Barcelona rather handily in the round of 16. Spoiler Youth Intake The preview was good as always, but I'm really happy with the intake. A 5 star PA Goalkeeper is much needed. Other than that there's a Perfectionist wing back who looks really promising. Our foreign affiliates also produced us players from The Netherlands (through ADO Den Haag), Croatia (Lokomotiva Zagreb), Chile (O'Higgins) and France (Sochaux) Spoiler NXGN We keep our run going and have another winner on the NXGN list. This time the honours go to our up and coming left back Emili Puigoriol, while Sebastian finished 3rd and Oussama Elyounoussi 49th Emili Puigoriol (LB; Spirited) Spoiler Sebastian (DM/MC; Fairly Professional) Spoiler Oussama Elyounoussi (STC; Balanced) Spoiler Transfers Before the season ticked over, we lost promising playmaker Sami Briand. I was planning to give him more playing time this season, but AC Milan poached him for a measly 15M. Spain and obligated minimun release clauses keeps getting me. To make matters worse: at the beginining of the season we lost our main goal scorer Alejandro to Almeria for 47.5M. Again, I didn't do a good enough job checking the minimum release clauses so we lost two valuable squad players. Spoiler Best XI A switch in tactics once again, this time going for the Brazilian box, trying to take advantage of the talent at front. Goalkeeper remains unsatisfactory, although we did conceed much less than previous seasons. Antoni Juvanteny (DC/DM; Fairly Professional) is our stud at the back and even made it to the Spain Euro's Selection. Other than him, everyone else are rated as good second division players. Emili Puigoriol had a good season, leading the team with 12 assists and still has some room to grow. Delphi is not on here, but he's our best midfielder and wanted by Bayern. He only has 2 years left on his contract and refuses to renew. Antoni Barri is the breakthrough player of the year and can play everywhere in the AM strata. Henry Ike has become our best attacking option, scoring 16 goals this season. Spoiler 5 years ago... A lot of 5 star PA, let's have a look what has become of them: - Andreu Alena: spent the previous season on loan at A Coruna in the second tier. He's a bit a victom of the fact that I'm not using wingers at the moment. He still has 3.5 PA, so might become a decent squad player - Oscar: he was on loan at Alicante in the 3rd tier and finally showed some development. Still has 4.5 PA, so he might be a late bloomer. - Antoni Juvanteny: our rock in defense and Spanish international! - Pep Juncosa: Spend the previous season on loan with our affiliate Tarragona in the 3rd tier. I will give him a shot as a backup next season - Henry Ike: The 2nd wonderkid from this intake. He's our best attacking option, but I worry he might already have hit his ceiling, not making any progress this season. - Antoni Barri: broke through in the first team this season and I had to reject offers from PSG. He still has 5 star PA next to his 3.5 CA Overall a massive intake and perhaps the best one yet of the save Spoiler Next Season Spain is hard. I honestly don't know if I ever will be able to compete with Barcelona or Real Madrid. Even so, we keep on going!
corinthiano
Ajax Lasnamäe - 2026 Season Report Another inconsistent season, but this time our form improved towards the end of the season and we were able to secure promotion to the second tier at the third time of asking. We actually have 3 less points than last season, so we definitely are not dominant in this tier and could struggle next season. In the cup we keep having really tough Second Round draws (which is the stage we enter at). Couldnt have been harder this season than playing at the best team in Estonia. We actually did really well, even going up 1-0 and securing that lead up until halfway through the second half, but from then collapsed and lost 4-1. Squad by Appearances More of the youth players get time this season. We will have three of the original squad retire at the end of the season, with the biggest loss being DLF Deniss Jogiste. Goalkeeper Kirill Andreev also retired but he was getting so bad I started playing youth players two thirds into the season. Top Player - Jevgeni Bodrin: Him again, he is actually our only player considered to be second tier material. Spoiler Youth Players Much better intake from a CA perspective, although personalities are not great again. Three players go straight into the first team squad. Spoiler Not a great personality but he is now the best goalkeeper we have so will be a starter next season. Another terrible personality, but great CA and becomes our starting BPD. Retrinaing him to be a striker, with Jogiste retiring he should start for us next season too. Transfers Let go of a fringe goalie and loaned out a promising defender. Spoiler Infrastructure We managed to convince the board to improve the Youth Facilities, which are now at Basic, but we are in the red as a result of it. Finances As mentioned in the red, but we should be able to make some gains next season without facility investment. Progress Up into the second tier and I just hope we manage to keep up there and consolidate. Edited March 2 by corinthiano
BuddahsBrother
I survived! Probably the best of my youngsters. I'm a bit light at fullback and the fullbacks I inherited both wanted to leave so laddo will be getting quite a few games this season. Formation wise I tried a few 433 and 4231 variations, they worked for a few games and then I started getting hammered. I changed to a 4222 which I ended the season on. This seems to be a bit better and not as inconsistant and the others. The players are pretty poor and I think my GK should be investigated for match fixing such is his performance between the sticks. I've never made it past season two so wish me luck.
vikeologist
Vikeologist's Víkingur 2029 Season Report We were never in contention to finish top. Two very good sides came down from the Premier League, and one of them, KR, ran away with the league. In the playoff semifinal we saved a penalty to avoid being 3-0 down at home within 30 minutes. I thought we were toast, but we turned it around to win 4-2 on aggregate and reach the final for the second season in a row. Up against 6-time Icelandic champions FH, it was close, but we fell short once again. We don’t really seem to be progressing. I have weak spots in the first team where players haven’t developed enough. Even though we went straight out, we made a lot of money being in the Europa Conference. However, the board still won’t upgrade our training facilities. I haven’t asked them to upgrade the Youth facilities. Since we don’t have an U19 team, I’m not sure what the point would be. I have a ‘professional’ HoYD who as far as I know, doesn’t actually do anything other than bring intakes through. We have upgraded Junior Coaching (again, apart from intakes, not sure what that impacts) and Youth Recruitment. I’m kind of hoping a new chairperson is elected at the upcoming elections, but they tend to usually be re-elected once. Squad This is my envisioned starting team for next season with a new left back coming in and Eiríksson 29a on the bench. Lots of potential, but I’m not sure some of them are ever going to realise it, especially with only adequate training facilities. Top Goalscorer – Kristófer Máni Atlason – 11 A terrible season for my lone striker, Atlason, but I’m not sure that he’s actually the problem. Both wings are weak spots. My backup striker didn’t do any better with his opportunities. Highest Average Rating (minimum 10 matches played) – 1. Aron Elí Gíslason / Sæmundur Bjarnason 24a – 6.99 Nobody averaged over 7. Man of The Match – 2 players – 3. Most Valuable Player– Hlynur Vilhjálmsson 25a The good news is that my best player, Hlynur Vilhjálmsson 25a, whose contract was running out finally agreed to re-up. All in all, a rough season. Maybe I need to export all the data to a spreadsheet and reevaluate everything. (It's so long since i did this, I'd completely forgotten how to do it, and the results just made me more confused). Season Division Position Notes 2024 1 4th Icelandic Cup Q/F, Playoffs S/F. 2025 1 10th Survived on last day of the season. 2026 1 4th League Cup losing finalists. Playoffs S/F 2027 1 4th Playoff S/F 2028 1 5th Icelandic Cup. Qualified for Europa Conference. Lost in playoff final. 2029 1 5th Lost in playoff final.
dkouv
Brora Rangers – Season 23 (2046/47) League A bad start saw us closer to the relegation zone than the title in the first third of the season, but we recovered well and even managed to retain the league with a game to spare. Won the league cup as well. Europe Finally, we went past the quarter final stage, beating Milan, and then a brilliant second-leg extra time win saw us beat Spurs (who are 1st in the PL) in the semi. I thought we were going to do it but it wasn’t to be, Bayern beat us 3-1 in the final. Was a really close game too, could have easily gone our way if not for some great finishing from the Germans (plus the customary own goal for us). Players Our attack is superb, and the latest addition Gary Fyffe 20a (AMR/ST) had a great debut season, scoring 26 and assisting 17, he is some player! I worry about our defence though, our two starting centre backs are in their 30s and have been our starters since the Championship, and there’s literally nothing waiting in the wings. So I’m not sure we’ll be able to challenge for the CL again as our starting CBs get even older, but maybe our attack will bail us out. Youth intake (preview) Another very promising striker added to the collection, otherwise nothing memorable. Facilities Stadium expansion complete, but still can’t upgrade youth facilities. Transfers Sold some back up players for decent fees. Sdp9511
End of Season Review Season 2030/31 Le Puy Season Summary- Was a season where the struggle to not get relegated continued. While the performances were looking up at the beginning of the season, the loss of our best player led to a massive decrease in our form. Which lead to us being in the relegation position with 7 games to go. But with a change of formation, we were able to stay out of the relegation places thanks to a better goal difference than Caen. Another season in this ligue has allowed us to increase all our facilities with our youth recruitment is now exceptional. Season Details Transfers- After not accepting any of our previous bids, the board accepted a bid from Club Brugge. The first bid that the board accepted, was too low and I was able to convince them of that. But with the second bid, I was unable to convince them. While it wasn't the worst deal, it could have been better. Youth Candidates - The youth intake looked good, with 5 elite talents. The best of the lot was Rudy Lenormand, another CB, to help with the limited options we have. But he could be a bit taller. Key Players POTS- Olivier Penot 6.91 overall rating, he was the best of the lot. He had to take over the spot from Belhadj after he left, and was able to do a good job in that position. Top scorer- With only 7 goals in the league he was our tied highest goalscorer, which was quite disappointing to be honest Best new youngster- He quickly became a started due to our aging and a limited amount of players in our defense. He is now nearly as good as our best cb Career Record After Season Played Won Drawn Lost Goals For Goals Against Goal Difference Win Percentage Time At Club ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2024/25 37 12 13 12 64 62 -2 32.0% 328 days 2025/26 74 32 23 19 133 104 29 43.0% 730 days 2026/27 111 37 33 41 168 171 -3 33.0% 1074 days 2027/28 148 53 45 50 230 220 10 35.0% 1431 days 2028/29 192 77 57 58 313 271 42 40.0% 1816 days 2029/30 232 90 65 77 380 353 27 38.0% 2181 days 2030/31 269 101 72 96 428 416 12 37.0% 2550 days Transfer Sale Record Date Player Position Club Sold To Country Transfer Fee --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 31/1/2031 Abdelkader Belhadj 4c CDM Club Brugge Belgium 1,700,000 (2,300,000) Trophy Haul Season Competition Won -------------------------- Record Number of Appearances (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Appearances ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2023-present Gilles Comte 190 2024-present Goran Grahovac 136 2025-present Andreas Kruger 136 2025-present Ousmane Tine 133 2026-2031 Abdelkader Belhadj 105 Record Goal Scorer (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Goals ------------------------------------------------------------------- 2025-present Andreas Kruger 37 2025-present Ousmane Tine 21 2024-present Kevin Toure 13 2024-present Gregory Lesueur 8 2027-present Goran Grahovac 7 Record Number of Assists (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Assists ----------------------------------------------------------------- 2023-present Gilles Comte 21 2025-present Ousmane Tine 13 2024-present Andreas Kruger 10 2025-present Goran Grahovac 10 2026-2031 Abdelkader Belhadj 8 Record Number of Clean Sheets (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Clean sheets ---------------------------------------------------------------- 2027-present Kevin Labonne 1 Edited February 25 by Sdp9511

glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 13 - Japan J2 League - End of Year Review League We were just kind of 'bleh', average, okay, safe. Nothing special. We also ended the season very badly. Since we have been able to challenge for the playoffs in previous seasons, it is kind of disappointing to just be languishing in mid table. The Squad We have had a bit of a facelift this season, especially in midfield, where 3 of the 4 starters are new to our starting 11/best 11. Masahiko Iwanga (YP10H) has been the most impressive of the lot. Unfortunately however this means J1 League and even Korean League teams want him and I have said I will let him go if a bid of 1.2million comes in. He is already the best player in my team and this is only his first full season in the first team (last season he was mostly on loan). Upgrades We did get another Youth Recruitment upgrade. Which means we now have: Exceptional Academy Coaching Exceptional Youth Recruitment Unfortunately Training upgrades & Youth Facilities upgrades (this one especially) have not appeared much. Youth Intake We have a pretty good intake this time around. The top 3 could be exciting, but the rest not so much.... except for the fact that we randomly got two English players (neither of which look special). Top 3 - Youth Intake 13 Atushi Nakano (YP13A) He could be very close to the first team already. With the CM position being an area we need to improve and the aforementioned Masahiko Iwanga (YP10H) being a star, but someone who may well be on his way out sooner rather than later. Decent passer and some good mentals in most area (composure is a worry). However the Physicals are just bad. Needs some improvement, but also I have some hope that he could be a goalscoring midfielder at this level. Masafumi Nagata (YP13B) He is exactly what we need in the Advanced Forward position. He can dribble to a decent standard for the J2 league, his finishing is okay, he is quick and can also pass (to some extent ). His path to the first team is probably a few years away, but I feel like Nagata could be in our starting eleven in his later teen years. Nico Capra (YP13C) A bit of bias here. May not be the 3rd best player in this intake, but I love to see different nationalities and as our first team is all Japanese, this is a welcome sight. The personality is good, but everything else (apart from Teamwork) is just kind of average. Okay passing, not great mentals, nothing special in physicals (apart from his fitness level). He may improve and get into the first team, but my hopes are not too high for young nico. Edit - Bye Bye Masahiko Iwanga (YP10H) The board....yet again....sold him from underneath me. At least it got me some new training facilities. Edited February 26 by glennuk

I haven’t asked them to upgrade the Youth facilities. Since we don’t have an U19 team, I’m not sure what the point would be. I may be misunderstanding what you're talking about, but, unless something has changed recently, your u19s use the Training Facilities too. Youth Facilities are used by academy players that haven't yet generated, so basically just boost the intake quality and would be worth requesting. We kind of share an U19 team with about 4 other clubs. Anyway, the board repeatedly approve improvements to Youth Recruitment and Junior Coaching which are now both excellent, but refuse everything else, despite us now having a lot of money because of our short Europa Conf experience, meaning training facilities and Youth facilities is rock bottom. I'm not overly worried. I'd hope promotion if we ever achieve it, will solve some problems.
Popular Post libbyshuss
Lyra Lierse - Belgium Jupiler Pro League - 2038/39 Started the season poorly, with only two wins in the first 8, but finished strongly going 11 unbeaten. It meant we finished 5th and qualifies for the Champions Group, starting only three points behind the leaders! But despite starting with a 3-0 win over Club Brugge we were poor in the championship group, only winning one of our remaining 9 games. It meant we finished 5th which put us in a european Playoff with the winners of the Second Phase group. We won that 4-2 so European football is ours next season! Players Top Scorer: L de Pauw 26C (21 goals in 39 games) He's 28 now! kinda nice seeing a player from that long ago still rocking it in our first team, especially as i've tired to sell him on more than one occasion. it's Belgium, you have to! Player of the Season: Adam Vandenheede 30C (7.46 in 42 games) I love players like this! Bang average on paper, never looks for a move, not really coveted by other teams, yet is so consistent, turning it on week after week, season after season. AWonderkids We got our first official wonderkid! And first player to be capped by Belgium as well! Funniest thing is Ive agreed to sell the lad five times, and each time he's rejected the contract and stayed with us! He has a 22.5m release fee so as soon as anyone offers anything close I add a 50% sell on and accept. And yet he's still with us! Youth A ridiculously good intake, but also one that poses more questions. 6 elite talents is unreal at this stage, but only one of them is a natural in a position I actually use. so.... either position re-training or new tactic in a few seasons. I haven't decided what yet. Best of the lot is clearly this lad, who looks like he could be unbelievable in a few seasons. I either switch to a 4312 using an AMC or retrain him as an MC. either way he's a future first teamer. look at him! Finances so I managed to sell one of my top prospects for 18m at the start of the season. Sad to see him go but in Belgium you have no choice really. Once the money came in, rather than let it slowly dribble away I talked the board into investing instead So we were looking relatively settled financially! so what do the board do at the end of the season? Announce a stadium upgrade they will be financing with another 6m loan. that's 18m worth of loans now, at 170k a month repayments! The finances here make it such a different challenge to elsewhere... Career Into Europe we go! It's only the conference league but it's a chance to give my younger squad players some invaluable experience. And it's another step forward, another source of income. Things are starting to look up!
Nottingham Forest
I still read this thread but just haven't had much FM love over the past few years. Did have a 3 season save with Basford earlier on this FM but got sacked towards the end. Could you not train Dumont as a striker @libbyshuss?

ajancsiii
Békéscsaba Előre 1912 Season 4 2027/2028 Competitions: Absolutely INSANE season, it all started with the fact that, completely exceeding my expectations, we got through the Conference League qualifiers undefeated all the way to the league phase, knocking out Vitesse, among others. I was happy that we would get some money, but I thought that due to the double workload, we wouldn't be able to perform extremely well in the league, and I set the goal of 4th place, which would bring the team to the Conference League qualifiers again. Compared to this, we not only held our own in the Conference Leage, but also advanced to the Knock Out Play Off Round, defeating Anderlecht, for example, away from home in the league phase, from where we eliminated Trabzonspor and reached the round of 16. The dream ended here, with a goal in the 96th minute, Panathinaikos said goodbye to us with an overall score of 5-6. In the meantime, the team remained at the top of the league and had a chance to overturn the dominance of Ferencváros, which we managed to achieve, thus celebrating the championship title for the first time in the club's history, and this became the first truly memorable season of the challenge. Squad: He is our best player, he came from the second youth intake. He is only 17 and already have 2 senior caps and he is developing like crazy, it will be a real challenge to keep him at the club. I think there is a chance for him to be the first "wonderkid media description" guy of the save. Youth intake: Elite talents: Transfers: S4 HOYD: Things worth mentioning: Continental Pro License in the bag Manager Of The Year Award One of our strikers is voted in the Conference League Team Of The Season First senior international call-up of the save Most improved team in Europe Facilities
Nottingham Forest
So I’ve holidayed for a number of years and Bury have come up. Don’t judge but seems like a good chance to see if I can build something. I don’t have under 21s or 18s squad yet the dev centre shows there are players there and under contract. I’m assuming I can use them?
BuddahsBrother
Survived and improved. Struggled for form, then won 11 straight then pretty much lost every game afterwards. Somehow humbled Saint-Etienne in the cup, made hardly any money from that and then got PSG at home in the next round. Got hammered, also made hardly any money. Prize money distribution is bad in the French leagues. This kid is already my second best central defender, proving that the Frejus team is mainly made up of imposters and probably ex Derby County players, such is their lack of quality. I expect big things as he's now first choice. I'm also chuffed to bits that he can pass it poorly with both feet, a real bonus to our gameplan. Stumbled through the season with a narrow 4-2-2-2. Now I have someone who knows which way the goals are, i'm training a basic 4-1-2-2-1 wide for season three We go again!

chsot68
2028/2029, Season 5 Season 5 was oh so close to our first promotion. We finished 7, but had secured a playoff spot with one game remaining after a great 2nd half of the season. With very little hope of securing a home game for the first round (turns out we could have) and even longer odds for a bye week we rested some key players for the last match of the season, and lost 1-0 to the team (Halifax) we would turn around and beat 2-0 in the First Round with our rested squad. We then had an absolutely nail biting Semi-Final against Tamworth, eeking out a 0-0 draw to send it to penalties. Our keeper caught their first shot, and our guys came through and hit all 5 of their spot kicks to send us to Chorley for the Final. We split our in-season matches with them, but they overcame our tired squad to beat us 2-1. Spoiler The intake was stellar this year with a really good looking young winger topping the class. I didn't take screencaps, but the elite RBs are 6'4" and 6'6'"!! The young striker is a gamer as well, scoring on his debut and adding 4 more before the end of the playoff run. Spoiler Finances are looking very solid with a steady profit each year with a couple of player sales (with Friendlies and 50% sell on clauses) to cash in on in the future. Facilities and youth setup are turning out some great prospects, and the team value has increased almost 3 fold in the last couple of seasons. I think I have a pretty good basis for success over the next few years. Media has us pegged for 13th (highest yet) I am hopeful for a better finish this year, with eyes at least on a home game for the First Round, ideally a bye week. I doubt we can secure automatic promotion (the vultures are circling for our best midfielder and 2 CBs), but there's one way to find out... Spoiler Going to be a busy work week, and we are expecting some gnarly winds here in Alaska so fingers crossed we don't have an extended power outage. Thanks for reading. More as soon as possible! -R Thanks for reading. More as soon as I can.
glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 14 - Japan J2 League - Mid Season Review & Youth Intake Preview League We had a bad start to the season, then went on a great run to get us into playoff contention. However the last 5 games have been pretty poor again with 5 points out of a possible 15. We need consistency and that just isn't coming. Youth Intake Preview Another preview that doesn't look the most promising. We do need some good Goalkeepers so the fact that there is two in this intake is promising. Hoping one pans out as our current goalkeeper is not great at all. We could also always do with a few wingers, as I have some that are okay for this level, but not many that look like future stars. Other News We had a board takeover. No impact on us at all, but hopefully they will finally let me improve Youth Facilities (that option never comes up for me ) I also got a new long term contract
glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 14 - Japan J2 League - End of Season Review It's NOT YOU....it's ME! League - 12th...again This season feels like another downer. At times we seem as if we can get beat the leagues best teams, but we just can't get it together when it matters most. I have a slump mid-season and it tanks position, confidence the whole lot. I know the usual tricks but they haven't worked. I am starting to tweak formation slightly, opposition instructions etc. So hopefully that will take things in the right direction, but sometimes I wonder......is it me??? This FM has been more difficult than past FMs in my youth challenging experience (which isn't long to be honest). The Squad We again have changes in our starting/best 11 in midfield. 3 changes again. So it would be beneficial if I could keep the midfield together for a couple of seasons. Atushi Nakano (YP13A) who just came through the intake a year ago has been a star in midfield. Our top goalscorer in his first full season from a CM role is pretty impressive indeed. Despite playing pretty well our strikers just didn't score enough, something we need to rectify soon and one reason why Masami Asano (YP11B) has forced himself in a starting position later on in the season. Youth Intake An intake with two goalies is one that is a great sight to behold! I need a new GK badly! The only bad news is 2 GKs and 2 MLs as my best players from the intake means there is not a great deal of variety in the true talents. Top 3 - Youth Intake 14 Hayato Terada (YP14A) Behold our future starting Goalie. His Aerial Reach does worry me, but at the same time he is not the shortest Goalkeeper. The Resolute personality is great and he is not far away from the level of our current starter who we got in the intake 10 years ago. 14 handling is lovely as is the 14 for reflexes. I think he will be starting within the next few years. Takahiro Maehara (YP14B) A decent poacher here. He has potential. Probably quite a few years from starting, but I have some hope for him. The mentals are relatively strong, but need to be improved in Decisions and Composure. The finishing of 14 is a high point and exactly what you need from a poacher. I am excited by this one even though he doesn't stand out! Hiroshi Matsusita (YP14C) I am planning to train and play him as an Advanced Forward. The finishing isn't great at this level even, but I don't play with an AMC and I think Advanced forward may be his best position, with decent passing. Although I am not enthralled by this one. May never make the first team. Other News Very Quickly Hayato Terada (YP14A) became our youngest ever player. This record may take some time to beat. Finances Things are looking okay overall financial. We have 0 debt and although we lose a little each season, we usually make up for it with a sale or two.
Popular Post resurectedja
FM 21* Challenge completed! I have been lurking and reading everything everyone posts about this challenge for 3 years now adn i have finally completed one of my own. Thanks to everyone who contributes to this challenge, you have reinvigorated my love for this game, switching me to do these types of saves exclusively. I stopped laying FM a long time ago, like fm13, but during the pandemic, with nothing to do, but attend funeral after funeral, i started playing again, just to try and find some sense of normalcy during those trying times. I really struggled with the save for the first 10 years of it. Only one promotion, trying various ways to figure out just how to play and how. I was very rusty, and it showed. I think my first season I conceded over 100 goals, trying to play tiki taka with a team with barely any players haha. I stopped playing for a while. But then I discovered Cultured Left Foot on YouTube and his Guisley save really made me go back and try my best to complete the save. To quote the game, an off field event caused me to drastically increase in determination. I also learned to go with the flow, trust the game, get the best staff I can, and do my best week by week to max out my chances for every single game. It made me a much better player. The only regret I have is not changing my head of youth development more often. Had a very barren 10 years in the Prem because I didn’t sack my great personality but poor attributes HoYD. ( I also regret sending my best loanees to Almeria, who dumped me after I helped them go from 3rd Tier to mid table La Liga side). Now lets talk about the ones who deserve the most praise the squad. I am so happy that I managed to complete the challenge while Lee Ingram was still my goalkeeper. He has ben my number one for close to half the save. In total he has played 585 matches and kept 218 clean sheets. Over 100 of those came in the Premier League. Not bad for a Championship level goalkeeper. (Consistency really matters). His penalty saving ability are the biggest reason why we won the Champions league in the first place. In the finals we missed two, but he saved 3 against Man City in the previous season. The core and spine of the team was my 42/43 golden generation. That youth intake gave me five starters, our backup striker (who started before Ryan Graham came of age) and our set piece specialist and rotational option for the Mezzala/ADVPA spots in the team. A Welsh team has conquered the English pyramid, but also Europe as a whole. But that doesn’t mean that I only did it with Welsh players. A lot of affiliates chipped in, providing me with talented intake players. Almeria, our former affiliate, and Slaven Belupo most of all. Vejle gave me a 4 star Faroe islander as well. I still plan on checking with the save from time to time. My starting left back has world class potential and I just got a potential golden generation which could rival that of 42/43. My next save will be in Bulgaria with Chernomorets Burgas and i dont think i have to tell you what type of save it will be.
