Popular Post Koetzer
Livorno | Season 2044/45 | Serie A Getting closer to the mid-table! The top teams still smash us in most games, but there’s no relegation danger anymore. Coppa Italia Our favourite stage and place to lose the cup Squad stats M.Porciani *38e – became our best goalscorer and MVP in his debut season in first team (actually he scored 7 of his 15 goals in last three games, winning the league’s best player award in May). B.Corsi *40a – returned from loan and played better than last season’s MVP Multari. C.Sardelli *38a and J.Luka *37h – both first choice wingers set our new assists record in Serie A. E.Taglioli *39d – an unexpected hero, I loaned him out before the season but needed a more reliable backup so recalled in January… and he scored twice in two first games! T.Ferrara *38f – became our starting goalkeeper during the season, and considering that we also had Rosaia progressing well on loan, it’s going to be a tough choice. I.Rosaia *39b and D.Amata *40k – two more new players in the first team. Transfers – long-time starters Viligiardi (350, 80+29) and Rizza (317, 54+42) weren’t good for the first team anymore. Club legend Adamo (538, 61+103) will leave after his contract expires this summer. Youth intake (preview) Florjančič *45a | Pani *45b | Talarico *45c | Renzetti *45d | Resta *45e | Cantini *45f | Formichi *45g Some determination issues among our best prospects (which is strange as our HOYD has 20), but a decent intake overall. Romanian team U Cluj became our third youth affiliate. We sold more season tickets than our temporary home could fit At least they all could see the final home game after the expansion was finished. The most reputable team to approach me so far, Spurs won the Premier League a season ago but sacked their manager after finishing 4th.

Jan 1st and Jul 1st I do a full check of all individual training and change as appropriate. Anyone under 18 will mostly get better from training well (high training ratings), and over 18 most need game time to progress. This is a general advise and there can be individual differences from player to player. Thanks for the advice. Maybe my quality of coaching is having an effect (2/2.5*) on each, mainly because I can only have 5 coaches and can't attract many decent ones. When it comes to full time training, my personal opinion is that unless you're aiming to increase certain stats for players, you may as well just let the assman do it. Personally I have already developed a training program which I plan to use once we eventually go full time (if...), it served me very well in an experiment I did, so I'm excited to see what kind of results I get in a challenge like this. This is basically my training schedule at semi-pro... I don't know if its doing any good, but our results seem to be decent so I guess I'll leave as is.
Popular Post MichaelNevo
Crewe United - Season Five Well I said I had a good feeling going into this season, just based off our cup runs that involved a few teams from this league, but I would never have guessed we would go back to back! Our cup runs this season were a disgrace, but maybe that actually helped as we could fully focus on the league. If ever I doubted my decision to retrain Charlie Young to AML, my decision has been justified with his amazing performances this season! He was good last season, but this was a whole new level of good. Packie Courtney wasn't as good as his previous two seasons, but he still banged in 29 goals in a higher league, so I can't complain too much. I have to say I'm definitely looking forward to next season, but we haven't faired particularly well against teams from this league, so I won't get my hopes up, although those two defenders from the youth intake definitely came in clutch! Youth Intake Well that was exactly what I was looking for! The youth intake gods are definitely on my side as we desperately needed some talent at the back! Spoiler 3 Top Rated Youth Players & Transfers In + Out I'm really impressed with Mushkudiani and McElhatton who both go straight into the first team for the coming season! Couple of really good games to end the season with. Spoiler League Table & Finances On the bad news side, our finances are horrendous! Spoiler What they thought... In Other News... Popular Post libbyshuss
Austria - 2039/40 - Premier League Consolidation in the top 6, another fun run in Europe! League: Kinda frustrating in some ways. We did well but every time we looked like we could push into the top 3 and really challenge we'd lose a couple of games and slip back down. A 6th placed finish saw us again in the Championship Stage, where i thought we were fairly mediocre to be honest, only winning 3 out of 10. But two teams were worse and we ended up 4th and in the Europa League. Jurassic Park! Europa Conference League: So much fun! we were great, right up until we went out on penalties. It meant we hada crazy number of games this season, at one point playing 4 in 8 days. Players I don't think I've ever had this before. Top 3 on the NXGN list are all ours! Stefan Wifling 36A: Superstar! Won this this season:- He refuses to sign a new contract though, which runs out in 3 years. As he's worth £40-50m I'll have to sell him in two years if I can't persuade him to sign Tamas Horgosi 36B - Striker and top scorer last season, moved mainly into midfield this season. He's equally adept in both positions, but i think midfield is his future. has a brand new 8 year (5+3) contract! Jake Barrett 37A - my English striker/right winger. Started the season, rested for a game, kicked up a stink about not getting enough games! so, to please him, i gave him an extended run in the team. Basically, i din't want to lose him and panicked! he was only 17 and acting like he was Jude Bellingham! Simon de Neef 37B - I usually promote my best 2 or 3 17 year olds to the first team squad each season, give them a couple of cup games here and there and slowly integrate them. That was the plan anyway - de Neef played 47 games at right wing! I suspect he'll be higher up this list next season Youth mediocre preview really. and the intake only produced 3 elite talents. But one of those talents looks crazy! look at him! Career

I play almost without posting because I always end up fired in the first few seasons. Thanks, but I don't do this for praise or anything, I do this because I enjoy the challenge. When I first noticed this challenge, I think it was ri who hosted it back then, I tried it and was hooked since it's so far away from what I used to play. My problem was always that I stopped having fun because I've always found it too easy to bring in super talents from around the world and become invincible in a few seasons. Here I had to leave my biggest strength, scouting and transfers, and rely on the rest of the game. And also the sense of community in this thread has always been something that kept me going. Sure, it's a competition in a way, but everyone is always cheering on each other, taking part in other people's glory and failures. Sure, we were what, 5-10 active people at the time, and not the big sub community of the forums we are starting to become the last few years, but the fellowship of the challenge is still key. And while I enjoy seeing any newcomer enter here, it's also nice to follow the careers of people who have tried (and mostly failed) this challenge for over a decade!

I may drift away form time to time but I always return to this challenge and I don't think that's just because of how tough this challenge is I do think it's the community that helps so much. I've no idea why this challenge has exploded so much over the past few years but I'm happy that the sense of community and the willingness to help each other out and offer advice as well as supprt hasn't changed. In fact it's probably gotten even better. 6 hours ago, Skora11 said: What is everyone's approach to training? Like XaW I never do general training, I get a competent assistant manager in and leave them to it but I always do individual training at every level. Im also tend to lean towards match time for my youth players over training. I know a few high profile youtuber sorts such as Zealand have done research (or rather his team researched) on the optimal regime for youth players to develop them based on their age. Whilst I largely follow my nose on this matter I do try to make sure if I bring a youth player on it’s with 15+ mins to go and the game is going well but I often favour giving them a few appearances here and there when they are 15/16 then loan them out at 17 as long as the club they go to are going to have them playing regularly. of course this depends on where you are in the save. If it’s early doors your squad is top heavy with U20 players so giving a 15/16 year old game time is quite easy to do. If you are further in and have an established squad of over 20s players then unless it’s a really top notch youngster coming through it will be hard to give them opportunities. I focus on player role and then individual focus on any attribute I feel the need to focus on. It's not an exact science but because I've been using pretty much same tactic for several versions now I know what my players need to paly it so I can focus on what I need. As XaW said about U18s needing training and over 18s game time what I try and do is as soon as someone hits 18, if they're not going to be part of my first team squad then I'm happy to loan them out to get game time, for example this current season I've loaned out 2 players that have a year left to give them a season to try and prove they can be part of my team and got new deals but also loaned out a young keeper as he needs game time even if it means my backup keeper is a lot worse, like training there's no exact way to develop players and a lot of it is trail and error.

Popular Post KingKCrush
Home Away Europe CSC Ghiroda - SuperLiga - Romania - Season 13 - 2037 We did it! After 13 Seasons we finally won our first ever trophy! UEFA Conference League After winning the European Places Playoffs last season, we started in the second Qualifying Round of the Conference League. So we need to win 3 Qualifying Rounds to get to the Group Stage (or whatever it is called now). The first 2 rounds were pretty easy. First we beat Dynamo City from Albania 9-2 on aggregate, then we beat portuguese Nacional da Madeira 8-3. In the 3rd round we had to beat the Finnish Leagues 2nd place KuPS. We dominated at home but a late goal from them gave them hope for the rematch: 2-1. In a wild game in Finnland we managed to score a late equalizer (3:3) to secure our win on aggregate and therefore our Qualification for the Conference League! The first 2 games were against seemingly easier opponents. However, we didn't get more than 2 points. 2 of our opponents were also Nantes and Atalanta Bergamo, who will definitely be superior to us. So we actually had our backs to the wall, but we managed to win the next 3 games. Before the last game, we are on the verge of the top 8 and therefore almost in the round of 16. If we beat Atalanta, we'll definitely be in the top 8. The game got off to a suboptimal start, Atalanta went 2 goals ahead before the referee had to send off one of their players with a straight red. We then scored 3 goals within 10 minutes and won 3:2 Spoiler We then had to play Basaksehir from Turkey in the round of 16. We dominated the first game. 3.5 xG but only 2 goals and a late goal against made it 2-1, which I wasn't happy with. In the second leg, they suddenly put us up against the wall. It took until the 2nd half to find a solution but in the end it wasn't enough beyond 1-2 --> extra time. Although my players were physically exhausted, we dominated the extra time and made it 2-2! Until one of our opponents had the idea to score an absolute dream goal from 30 meters it looked extremely good. Then it went to a penalty shoot-out, which we stupidly lost. An unfortunate defeat but still a very good first international season! Spoiler SuperLiga We had a very good start to the season. We won 7 of our first 8 games and I thought that a lot was possible this season. After that, we didn't win a single game for 2 months. In general, we picked up just 7 points in the next few games. After a few changes in tactics, however, the tide turned. After our defeat against Craiova, who were top of the table, we started the best run I've ever had in this save: We remained unbeaten until the penultimate matchday. Up until that day, we had played 20 games and won 17 of them. Obviously we managed to get into the championship playoffs & even more. With 2 games to go, we're 4 points clear in first place and have qualified for the Champions League. However, as we unfortunately lost the penultimate game, we have to go into the last game against the second-placed team with a 1-point lead. However, our opponents were too good. We couldn't win, but we couldn't lose either! A 1-1 draw was enough to secure our very first trophy! We are champions of the SuperLiga. Spoiler Copa Romaniei We again didnt survive the groupstage after a unnecessary loss against the bottom of the league. Youth Intake Kinda meh this time. No one really sticks out, but I still sign everyone with a good personality. Spoiler #1 - Dragos Zahiu - RW Good Acceleration, Workrate & decent Crossing for a 16 year old. My Staff thinks he hes a good potential and he has a good personality. He has quite a competition on his position but I am pretty confident that he will make the first team in the future. Spoiler #2 - Constantin Giurgiu - LW Another good winger. Really fast and good at crossing. What else do you want from a winger But for real, he has some obvious weaknesses we need to work on. He needs serious developement to play a role in the first squad. Spoiler #3 - Mihai Campeanu - ST If only I would get a dollar for every quite good Striker with a bad personality we got in this save... He seems to be an absolutely awesome finisher: 15 finishing + places shots = deadly. I hope we can change his personality a bit through mentoring. Spoiler Facilities, Transfers and Finances We got the last upgrade for our training facilities approved which is absolutely awesome. We sold some backups for a total of 750k. Our overall balance sits at around 8,5 Mio. Everything is looking good! We even managed to pursuade our board to create a B Team. That never happened in my previous saves so I am absolutely excited for that. I can just leave my players in the B Team instead of loaning them out! Hopefully we can reach the second league with that team in the future. Does anyone know in which league a newly created Team starts? Popular Post XaW
XaW - Cardiff Draconians - Season 2024/25 (Season 1) - JD Cymru South Squad | Transfers | Finances A very strong first season, especially considering the squad was rather limited, including zero strikers. So I did quite a lot of retraining this season with the original squad. Many who are quite good, and I'm getting a really soft spot for Malam Baldé. 18 goals from a DM, where most are pens and free kicks, but still, he just pops up with so many game winning goals. The level of players here are really poor, so any player who can stand out a bit is just a load of fun. The league went really well, and far better than I had expected. We hovered around mid-table for most of the season, before we had a late rush of wins to climb a bit. The overall table flatters us a bit, but the league was really close all season so it was essentially up for grabs for anyone. 4 points between 1st and 6th is quite the fight! The youth players came through just after the final match of the season, so none of them could contribute much yet. We also had a good cup run, so overall I'm very happy with the season. Making the most of what you have at the club, rotating to keep players fresh, tweaking tactics before and during the game to deal with rotation/injuries/suspensions etc. There is always something you can be doing to try and succeed rather than stick with your favoured formation, sign players that fit the formation, scout for wonderkids, sign them win everything then get bored and quit your save. Challenges are where it’s at in FM for me and this one is the hardest and most enjoyable.
Popular Post Riebow
KSV Oudenaarde Season Review (33/34) League We struggled a bit early in the season, but finished strong to end up in a safe 10th place. Popular Post Sigguson
Just finished season 2 with FC Gleisdorf 09 and here is the report. I decided to keep the same tactical system from the previous season the only changes I did was that my approach was more counter attack focused where I prioritize quick players above everything else. My team was on paper weaker going into this season but I felt that it was considerebly stronger defensively. I had been preparing Pletoianu to take over the left back position last season but I decided to go with the 15 year old Beyer who was only slightly worse then Pletoianu but way more impressive physically. I sacricficed results last season by playing Akcakoca a regen center back that had come up the season before I took over and this season he was ready. Unfortunantly I got a pretty bad intake on my first season and only three players that I deemed usable for my squad. I had a good start to the season but hit a strope of bad results after the first month. But despite the team loosing a lot of games I was tactically superior in most of them. Creating more chances then my oppenents and controlling most of the games. Which made me not worry about anything and I knew the reason for the inconsistency was due my bad options at front. Then my team found more defensive constitency which in turn started to provide better results. I had a fantastic intake report one of the best I have seen and soon after Farago my 74 year old head of youth development announced that he was retiring at the end of the season. Farago had secured his legacy at my club and on 7th of March I got some really good players. 11 players with potential that out matches my squad and after making contracts with them all I figured out that the goalkeeper Ticic and the striker Savic are possibly high potential players but I base it on their much higher valuation by the game compared to the other prospects and also they have very decent stats for 15 year olds. I ended the season in second place which was a big suprise and not something I was going for. I even considered loosing games on purpose towards the end to avoid promotion but I also figured that the financial improvements are worth the risks of being fired in the top tier since my squad is no where near good enough to really be there. Next season is gonna be hard. My odds where 100-1 in the First division which placed me the last in the preview table (Fc Liefering and Sturm Graz II are B teams and then don't get caculated but they both had considerebly stronger squad then I did). My strikers are gonna be the main issue next season and my backup strikers didn't score a single competitive goal. I had been able to make improvements to all my faciilites but after gaining the promotion my club spend all my money on undersoil heating for the stadium so there will probably not be any facility improvements for a while now. Hopefully I don't get fired from the job if it goes to badly next season and maybe I can keep the team up in the division. Popular Post dkouv
Poole Town – Season 3 (2026/27) Vanarama South From the start of the season it was clear we weren't making the playoffs this time. Most of our original team has melted, and the youngsters are very raw, so it was a painful season where we floated close to relegation but a good mid to late season run pulled us away from it and we finished a respectable 15th. Cups The best thing about this season is that we had a great cup run, beating League 1 Charlton to get to the 3rd round of the FA cut, where we lost to Hull. Youth intake (preview): A decent bunch of players but some terrible personalities amongst them. Facilities/Finances I've figured out the mystery of our insecure finances - it's because we took on a £1.2m loan to build a 3,000 capacity stadium, to replace our old 2,500 capacity stadium, and now apparently we are searching for a new site for a (drumroll) 3,000 all-seater stadium. This is all bearing in mind that our typical attendance is about 700. This board are worse than Chelsea's... Still, the cup run allowed us to improve recruitment and even order a training facility upgrade, so for now things are looking up. Popular Post Daddy
Season 16 - 2039/40 - Czechia - First Division: Finally, I can check one thing off the checklist. We got hot and stayed hot until the last third, but even cooling off just meant draws and not wins mostly. This marks the first time since 2021/22, where Viktoria Plzeň won, that neither Sparta not Slavia Prague won the league. Champions League: I wouldn't call this an easy draw, but it was easier and I felt confident we would make the Knockout round with some points to spare. Expectations met, and a tremendous showing at Arsenal (they have had one season out of Champions League places and even won the premier league once. They haven't fallen off) had me thinking maybe we could shock a few teams, and then we drew Milan. I wish we put up a better fight, but this was a season of seeing progress for sure. Interesting Things of Note: There's nothing crazy here. I'm at the point where I can sign people long term and when they start complaining about playing time I loan them out and throw in favorable buy clauses. The goal is to send the players to other teams domestically to help build the nation as we go. We had climbed the coefficient rankings, but have since tumbled a little. This may be specifically for this league, but when they draw the champions group you can see how they give the first-place team the lower-ranked teams to close the season out. Similar to a weighted reward system. While it's a lot less fascinating sober I admit, when I figured it out my mind was blown lol. Youth Intake: The factory must grow. 2040/41 Season Preview: No messing with qualifying this season! Right into the most interesting Champions League draw I think I've ever had since they went to this format. The teams from pots three and four we need to beat. The top four teams we need to not get blown out. We won the league, but we're not dominating it, and there are fewer automatic qualifications. Combine that with not thinking the team is ready to push for completing the challenge, the league is still the first focus this season. However, I am still going to push hard in the Champions League. my goal is 15 points.

The_Gato_In_Goal
Haringey has been very enjoyable for me, but I can't keep going at the 1 season every 2-3 weeks pace in England. Popular Post The_Gato_In_Goal
As it turns out, the Venezuelan league I downloaded doesn't have promotion/relegation from the 2nd and 3rd tiers despite it having so in real life. So Ecuador it is. And we've settled on fallen giants Deportivo Quito. They have won the Ecuadorian league 5 times, most recently in 2011, but fell into financial disarray, couldn't pay their players leading to a players strike in 2015, and suffered a series of relegations since. The infrastructure of the club is there, but this isn't a situation in which we're favored to go right back up to the top league. Leading them is Haringey captain Rayon Messam.
Popular Post Sdp9511
End-of-Season Review Season 2044/45 Le Puy Season Summary- This was by far the best season we have ever had. We ended up somehow getting into the Champions League places this season. From the beginning of the season, we looked like one of the strongest teams in the league and we went on a few quite good runs, to the point where we were fighting for 2nd place Our end of the season was quite poor, with us nearly bottling our champions league place. In the cup we kept our streak of getting one of the top 2 (PSG or Marseille) in the last 3 seasons. Transfers- Had no major transfers, except for the sale of Labonne who had been our starting goalkeeper for the last 9 seasons. Youth Candidates- The preview looked quite bad with only one A, which was in a position in which we have had a lot of youth players in recently. And sadly the intake was bad (for the third season in a row we have a sub-par intake), the only slightly redeeming part is that the elite talent has a model citizen personality. But he also isn't that good of a goalkeeper currently. Hopefully, next season is better, I will probably sack my current HOYD prior to the start of next season. Key Players POTS and top scorer- Houssem Omrani had the best season of his career so far, finishing tied 1st in the goalscoring charts. Our slight tactical tweak which meant we played kind of like Man City in 2022 (inverted rb into midfield), allowed our attack to finally flurish. Most assists- Coulibaly was another player to massively benefit from the slight tactical change as he ended the season with double digits in both goals and assists. Our current vice-captain has stepped up to become one of our most important and decisive players with his pace. YPOTS- The last season he probably could win this award. But he never disappoints with 6 goals and 14 assists. Still can't believe that our HOYD did not recommend us to sign him as he was only seen as a good talent Best youngster (on loan or in youth)- Our most inform youngster has been Frederic Brun, who has been on loan at Creteil in the second division. His performances have just about gotten him in the NXGN. He will hopefully be a helpful rotation player next season. Popular Post Neo_Geo
SILKY STUFF FROM THE SILKMEN AS THEY BAG PROMOTION AS CHAMPIONS One word.....incredible! Macclesfield really are a dream club for a first season of the Youth Academy Challenge. A good sized ground that gets filled pretty well for league matches, make a profit, strong squad and decent starting facilities. The league was a tight call in the end with a draw away to Hereford clinching it by a single point ahead of AFC Fylde one week after we thrashed Chester 4-0 as Blyth Spartans (second at the time) lost to Hereford meaning I was 6 clear of them and I thought I had done it but there was no trophy presentation. It required one last push and those last 15 mins where we hit the post and conceded a few corners were very nervy indeed. 46 games and it came down to that last match, it really gives these big games an edge. We did better than expected in the FA Cup managing to make the First Round proper and took League One Barnsley to a replay whilst in the FA Trophy it was the Fourth Round where we lost to Vanarama National Dagenham & Redbridge. Tactically I set up with a 4-2-3-1 DM AM Wide and opted for inside forwards given my best striker had left the club as he was out of contract straight away and would not talk. That formation proved to be a wise choice with the most goals scored in the league and second best goal difference (once again defence seems to be my big issue in this version of the game). I went for a high line, high press approach and just managed the games accordingly once in the lead by looking to play even shorter, reduce the tempo, regroup after losing possession, drop the high line to standard and don't press as often. I managed to keep the players fit and happy for the majority of the season with a few complaints from back-up players who had previously been involved a lot more. I often went to a 4-2-4 DM Wide formation when I went behind and needed to get more of the ball inside the box and the resilience of the squad was really pleasing with many comebacks recorded. Since week 3 we hadn't dropped below 4th and whilst we had a run of poor form with around a dozen games to go we rallied as the Blyth really faltered. Here is a reworked competitions and club details screen: Training facilities were downgraded this year but as you can see the club looks pretty healthy with the stadium 71% filled on average, getting a sell out in the FA Cup against Barnsley and the balance is on an upward trajectory with the projection being £1.91m at the end of season 4. League Results Domestic Cup Results Youth Intake The first season - and with some very capable players at the club already - always meant that the Youth Intake Preview was not going to be the greatest and although the HoYD said that this looked like an excellent intake, whenever I don't see As or even Bs I don't expect a lot. On intake day I was greeted by 3 elites with each going straight into the first team squad to provide some much needed back-up. The pick of the bunch appeared to be Mostafa Adel Y1-A who appeared to have the makings of a good (if a little short) target forward. In his debut he scored 2 headed goals to back-up this theory. Next up was Brice Kalala-Kabangu Y1-A who for now I am unsure of his best position, He has the pace to play as a winger however with 3 crossing I feel an inside forward role on the left or as a number 10 might be a better bet. Finally I got my second keeper at the club (luckily I never had to play a grey keeper during the season) with Bob Swailes Y1-A joining the Silkmen. He looks like a very capable understudy to my number 1 and I will look to perhaps give him some game time in this coming season if the opportunity arises. None of the other players scream out to be promoted to the senior squad though I have taken a couple of central defenders as I was short there and Laurent Mendy is going to leave this summer as his contract is ending and won't get a work permit. I've decided to summarise the intake nationalities and caps together in the following chart and already I love the variety of nationalities whilst still predominantly an English intake there are some interesting nations included: In addition to this I have reworked my player records page to capture all time records as well as the current season: Fans Player of the Year - Neil Kengni Fans Young Player of the Year - Sam Perry Club News As far as the running of the club was concerned the Junior Coaching increases were approved both times whilst the Youth Recruitment Improvements required some persuasion but in the end both were approved. Junior Coaching 1 and Junior Coaching 2 Youth Recruitment 1 and Youth Recruitment 2 However it wasn't quite as straightforward for my own coaching badges. Out of the 3 times I asked only 1 was approved, the first was perhaps too early in the season and the latter was straight after the badge was obtained so in hindsight I perhaps should have waited a little more. As a result of the promotion the stadium required some work Admin (Transfers) Bingo Card As the original creator of the 100 tile bingo card I think it's about time I take part in it again Two off the list in season 1 is pretty good going but the crucial one this coming season is C1 - Avoid Relegation to Vanarama North, everything else is of secondary importance this coming season. I am so glad to have bit the bullet and started in England with a club I feel is a good fit, I'm looking at the 46 games a season until the Premier League as a positive because that means I don't have to repeat the same fixtures over and over and over again as you do in smaller leagues. Maybe I'll return to Northern Ireland once more but having seen my previous attempt there reach 12 seasons and my latest attempt reach 13 full seasons it seems thats about my limit there before I get tired on the same matches. Onwards to season 2 and the battle to stay up in the Vanarama National!

The issue is that we lost our first choice left winger, 3rd choice central defender and the starting goalkeeper to the same non-league club. Thanks for that Cwmbran Celtic... Luckily, the youth intake helped a lot, but it only came before the final match of the season, so not much help this season. Still, I think the team is stronger now than at the end of last season. The_Gato_In_Goal
Sociedad Deportivo Quito - Youth Intake Season 1 I've never been treated this well. Take over the club January 1 and get my first intake January 15. Managed to hire a HOYD in the meantime but not sure how much impact he would have had on these guys. Since we are a professional club, I'm only planning on keeping the high potential players. We have first division ambitions right out of the gate and have the infrastructure to actually develop players. We already have about 6 central defenders at the club so would have preferred another position. Now I do enjoy having a backup wing back. Again don't need a short central defender, will train him as a wing back.
Popular Post libbyshuss
Austria - 2039/40 - Premier League Disastrous End to Season See Wels Miss Out on European Football! Really upsetting end! We were in good form going into the Championship group but once there we went 8 games without a victory and by the time we finally won a game, it was too late. We missed out on European qualification! part of the problem was how tired the players were and how many games were being thrown at us. at one point we had to play 4 games in a week - something had to give! Europa League What makes it such a depressing end to the season is just how good we were in the Europa League this season. We finished the league stage above clubs like Arsenal! Here are our results - Spurs were just too good for us in the end Players Well, no European football makes it invevitable we'll lose Stefan Wifling 36A. The lad still won't sign a new contract and he's only got two years left to run. I can't afford to let him leave on a free so realistically it's 1 year. He is so important - he was injured for a month which coincided with our awful Championship Group run of results. I mean - look how good he is! But we do have people waiting in the wings, including our second WONDERKID! Fatih Heco 38A, our Bosnian left winger had a great season and also signed a new very, very long contract. Woohoo He was also second in the wonderkid NGN list Jake Barrett 37A also won European Golden Boy, which is funny as i'm really not convinced by him yet! he mostly plays up front but is just as good on the wing - he is very, very quick. Pace 17 Finances So, the board got an offer for our Hungarian potential superstar Tamas Horgosi 36B Nothing we could do about it either! the deal is ok, i guess, and it meant we could invest in facilities Youth Youth preview looked really quite good but the intake only had one elite talent! but what a talent! MichaelNevo
I've decided to take some time to look at bringing in my own HOYD as per the recommendations made in the official post. I'm not sure if I've done the right thing here, but considering the HOYD that I've replaced had horrendous stats and only a Balanced personality, I've decided to replace him with a Goalkeeping Coach who has a Model Citizen personality. At first he told me simply where to shove my offer (basically where the sun doesn't shine), but I persuaded him by giving him a second job as a Goalkeeping Coach, which basically means he will have a dual role in the club. Has anyone else had experience in offering dual roles and does it affect anything in a bad way? Here is who I signed...
