Popular Post russ the womble
Toledo season 5 Another 5th placed finish and I lost in the play offs by virtue of Granada B being the higher seed! Had some nice ratings this season, including Munoz who got 23 goals from midfield - most of those were free kicks! My big issue is that the club has gone semi pro and I cannot renew contracts with any of the good youngsters! So, I think this save is done. The team will only get worse UNLESS I have a summer buy out and a change in status. Will see if anything happens over the summer.

Popular Post russ the womble
Season 1 (2024/25) League Table Spoiler First season and finished narrowly off promotion by two points (drew last game). I had to sell some of the top earners from the existing squad and didn't really want to go up anyway until we established some youth players! First XI and Tactic Spoiler Decided to carry over my tactic from Toledo as it was working fairly well. Tends to give me some dominant possession in midfield, although is a little weak on the wings. Team overall performed well with this formation, with the full backs enjoying good runs forward and quite a lot of goal contributions from midfield. Youth Spoiler I only had a couple of decent youth pulls, nothing major - wont pull up their individual profiles this early on. Finances Spoiler Bit of a mess again! I sold the high earners, but still not looking great. Even so I have a transfer budget of £1m+ so I guess not all bad! Popular Post Koetzer
Livorno | Season 2045/46 | Serie A A solid mid-table place at New Year, good run from February to April, and we moved to European spots with three games to go! However the remaining schedule was hard, and after losing to Genoa I didn’t believe in our chances, but we managed to defeat Juventus and earned a draw against fierce rivals Lazio which was enough as we had an advantage over Atalanta and Napoli. A big overperformance (and this number of points isn’t usually enough to qualify), but who cares? Livorno is back to Europe after 40 years! Coppa Italia Finally an easier draw in the second round and decent performance against Inter. Squad stats E.Taglioli *39d – becoming both best goalscorer and assistant is a great achievement, but these numbers also show how our strikers struggled this season. A.Rosaia *39a, M.Reda *37b, C.Caforio *31d – solid defense was the key for our result, goalkeeper and pair of center-backs had the most playing time and highest average rating. D.Balduini *26c – sadly that’s the last season for our captain who played 721 games overall. He was only a backup player, but I still wanted to keep him as a mentor and give a chance to play in Europe. Transfers – goalkeeper Magri left us after 9 seasons and 286 games in first team (SPAL won the Serie B, so we’ll likely face him soon). Youth intake (preview) Rossi *46a | Di Brigida *46b | Fava *46c | Cancelli *46d | Pacifico *46e Not so many promising players, but these two big attackers look good. Rossi is touted as new Carlo Cecchini (who just won the Golden Boot with 39 goals), though I see him more as a winger. Expanded our recruitment network in the Balkans with Loko Zagreb. 98% tickets sold in the league games, I guess we’ll need another expansion soon
XaW
Ok, some times this game can be brutal, and this was it for me. TNS swooped in and poached 4 of my best players on a free this season, and we struggle and are looking to go down. Needless to say, I'm not very happy about it, and I really don't enjoy having to go down to the 2nd tier, so I'm going to abandon this save. I know, stick too it and all that, but this broke me... Ugh! Going to start some new holiday and look around.

It’s one thing losing 1 or 2 players but 4 is nearly half your first team and to then see performances and results drop off to the extent you might be relegated…….i can definitely understand not sticking with it in these circumstances. There are events you can laugh off (Robbie savage turning down my coaching course request 11 times for instance) but others break the save by just sucking all of the fun and joy out of it. Good luck finding the new save.

Popular Post dkouv
Poole Town – Season 6 (2029/30) Vanarama South. What a change being a division down makes - we were in great form for most of the season, sitting comfortably in 1st place. But then come April our form collapsed and we ended up losing our 3 final games and slipping from 1st to 4th. Playoffs were very adventurous, a penalty win against Bath where we bossed the game 4 - 0.3 on xG, a completely undeserved win away at Aldershot and a dramatic final which involved an extra time sending off (for our opponents), a 118th minute equaliser (for us), and a penalty victory for us. So, promoted back at the first time of asking, but given how our end of season went I'm really not that confident for next season. Players We managed to keep all the grumbling players who thought they were too good for us, and the youngsters keep (very) slowly developing. We now have 2 center backs which is a big improvement on 1, and plenty of good attackers. Sean Young 02b (AMC/ST), was the pick of the bunch, scoring and assisting plenty throughout the season, and scoring a penalty in the playoff final shootout. Youth intake (preview): Four elite talents! But rubbish personalities again, even worse this year after my old HOYD was poached by Sheffield Wednesday - so hard to tell how this will turn out. Only 2 teams get promoted, but Independiente Jrs. are a B team and will stay in this league (and presumably destroy everyone again next season). We have talent in the squad, but are inconsistent and haven't found an effective tactic quite yet. mehesa
Hi Guys, Glad to be back. A few months back I was playing this challenge with Hungarian side Békéscsaba, however I could not continue playing FM since spring, and unfortunately I also have lost my previous save, so I decided to start again with the same team. The ‘Lilák’ (‘Purples’ in English) has a great history in Hungarian football, it is one of the bastions of country-side football in a country, where most of the championship titles owned by Budapest teams. Békéscsaba never won the title, their best attempt was in the early 1990’s leading the league for most of the time in 1993, but dropped back to the 3rd place by the end of season. The club started the 21st century with financial problems and lost its position in domestic football. Last time they were in the first division in season 2015/16, but relegated just after the promotion, and later dropped back to the 3rd league. I will do my best to create a new generation of top footballers for this city in southeastern Hungary and to lead them back to the glory of domestic elite and more… This is my Manager: Some info on the club at the starts: Spoiler

Popular Post Winski
FK Rača Bratislava Season review Season 9 | 2032-2033 Niké liga Transfers | Affiliates | Facilities | | Finances | Manager Profile | Club overview Season 9, and what a season it was! We were in the race for the league title for quite a long time. But in the end Dun.Streda was just too good, although we managed to win against them in our home match. But due to our European run I had to rotate more then I wanted, so the results in the last couple of matches were mwah. But still a very good season. Our Cup run was not a good one. We lost in the Third Round against Zilina. But then the most important part of this season review: our European run. We started in the Europa League First Qualifying Round. We won against Domzale. But in the Second Q. Round we lost against CSKA-Sofia. So we continued in the Third Qualifying Round of the Conference League. We won against KF Shkëndija Tetovo, and in the Fourth Round against Pafos. So we qualified for the League Phase. We started badly, losing to Astana and Torino. Then 2 draws against CSKA-Sofia(them again!) and Trabzonspor. And then we won our last two matches in the League Phase, against Breidablik and Kasimpasa. So we just managed to reach the Knockout stage. We first won against Levski Sofia, and in the Round of 16 we met PSV. We won 3-1 at home, and drew 1-1 away, so we somehow eliminated them. In the Qtr Final we played against Borussia Mönchengladbach. And I still don't know what happend in these matches. At home we lost 2-3, although we deserved to win. But the away match.... unbelievable. We won 0-4 We were só good in that match. A joy to watch. In the Semi Final we met Malmö FF. And this was another thriller. At home we lost 1-2, with the winning goal in minute 90+3 for them. But, again, the away match... it was a really great match, from both sides. Lots of chances, lots of goals. And while Malmö was getting chance after chance in the last minutes, we scored the winning goal in minute 90+3. What a thriller of a match, and we qualified for the Conference League Final!! The Final itself was against Brighton. And to be honest: they were by far the better team. It was exciting until the end, as the score was only 0-1 for a very long time. But Brighton scored the 0-2 just before the final whistle, and our dream was over. But I'm very, very proud that we managed to reach a European Final with a Slovakian team. Notable players Well, it's boring as i'm mentioning the same player year after year. But Peter Lukac 24c was fantastic. Again. He scored 38 goals in total. But also Viktor Lukac 30c had a good season, and he was very important in the Semi Final against Malmö with 3 goals. He came into the team after the transfer of Sluka 27e to Mallorca. But the best player in my team is undoubtedly Stanislav Guľa 31a. He's the first player in this save who made it into the NXGN list. But I'm not sure if I can keep him at the club. Some very big clubs are chasing him. The guy is unhappy already, as he wants to play with better players. So if I need to sell him, then hopefully for a good price, and with a 50% clause. Guľa 31a is also the first international player. He even scored on his debut! Youth intake Well, for the first time in quite some years I'm dissapointed about an intake. Just one Elite talent. But still 3 talents with potential. Spoiler Progress
The_Gato_In_Goal
Sociedad Deportivo Quito - Youth Intake Season 2 Round 2 of the intake coming a month after the season review. This intake is not very good, expecting more of my HOYD next year cause these players aren't even close to those we got before. The best of the bunch is probably Macias 02d, who has a great personality even if his potential is not there. He's not very good, but we at least have a second GK at the club. Projects as a solid playmaker in the midfield.
The_Gato_In_Goal
Have had an excellent start to the season and have a big 1st vs 2nd matchup today. So what does FM do? Popular Post libbyshuss
Austria - 2042/43 - Premier League Wels Embark on Very First Champions League Journey - It Isn't A Long One yeah! into the Champions League we went! Champions League: And out we went at the very first stage. Benfica was a tough draw though Europa League: It sent us straight into the Europa League, where we did a lot better. Some really good results here but to go out to fellow Austrains Sturm Gratz was disappointing League: We did really well again and are turning into genuine title challengers. We fell slightly short again but qualified for the Champions League again. Players We were helped by the emergence of two more genuine wonderkids Leon Eschweiler 39B - This was a really nice surprise, as he would probably have been long gone if I'd kept Stefan Wifling. But when he went to Arsenal a vacancy appeared in our central midfield and Eschweiler filled it and did really, really well. Now easily our best and most important midfielder. Paul Alhaier 40A - I knew he was going to be good so I gave him his chance as first choice striker at the start of the season and it paid off handsomely. 23 goals in 36 games is not at all bad and he can only keep getting better. The only issue will be keeping him in years to come Career

Popular Post Neo_Geo
OK so this is just going to come across as a middle aged man moaning about Bolton trying to steal away one of my best talents however once again my immersion is just ruined by this scenario. To set the scene, here is the player in question. Mostafa Adel Y1-A He is a Vanarama National standard player according to my coaches and whilst his goal return for appearances this season have been very good he's not exactly scoring 50 goals in 20 games. He is 17 years old with perhaps another 18-20 years left in his career. He isn't allowed to legally drink yet he has played 55 first team games and scored 31 goals. Not bad for someone who can't vote either. He is now subject of a transfer bid from Bolton who offered £10k up front and various small add-ons with 20% of the next sale. His value (before I negotiated at 500k and 50% of next sale) and to be honest I didn't even give it the time of day. He's contracted for another 3 years (after triggering his extension which he wasn't happy about either) and he's my top player at the moment and I have over £2m in the bank so why would I sanction such a deal? This brings me to my main point. As you'd expect Bolton withdraw their bid and Adel complains about being price out of the move. His reason for wanting to leave? "At this stage in my career I need to be playing in the Skybet Championship" What stage of your career is that? Where you should really just be playing youth football but instead you are playing competitive first team football and winning player of the month awards, fighting for promotion to the football league.....that stage? Secondly he needs to be playing in the Championship......well that isn't going to happen at Bolton is it? You are going to be kept in the youth team or at best reserves and will most likely be put out on loan where guess what? You'll probably end up bac in the Vanarama National because at this stage in your career that is your level. OK, rant over. I get that a youngster would have their head turned in this scenario (unless of course its the buying team thats controlled by the human in which case you get told £40m and the player is fine with that) however the reasons given and the responses I can give are very dated now and also very limited. I should be able to say would you rather be playing first team football or would you rather be playing for Bolton's youth team? I haven't sold anyone yet in this save but I mentioned during my Crewe United save that when players left and were left to rot in the youths and ranks that I should be able to cite these as examples as to what might happen. As it turns out I said I'd let him go for a reasonable fee then set it to something I knew he wouldn't accept and just ended it there. I doubt the developers would look at this but if they want these interactions to be realistic and believable then having a 17 year old give me that line is definitely contradicting that realism.

Agreed, but I have two counterthoughts. If it weren't for this challenge as that manager you might look for a loan back to where it may not be as unrealistic for them to want control of him but to let you keep developing him. The other counter I have is the "According to my coaches." He may be a higher standard than what they're skilled enough to tell you. OR he may just be delusional lol.

Popular Post naterr
Tony Pizza at Kerala United FC - Go Hornbills! - Season 17 I have decided to condense the domestic competitions into one section (I doubt anyone is interested in the match stats of the preseason cup! :P) Domestic Competitions We dominated all three competitions this year, we won the preseason cup, the super league and the super cup. and not once did we have to play Kolkata in the final which was a nice change of pace. Domestic Treble is brilliant (and as we isn't struggle at all I figured I would focus less on the domestic side and more on the Champions league (which is the important part) Youth Intake Not the best this year - only a few "top talents" but no one really stood out. Best of the bunch below Naik Spoiler Asian Champions League Great year - we got through the league phase really easily, we were matched with a relatively easy group so that was nice. We got through the first knockout round but lost to Al-Ain in the Quarter finals. Al-Ain were much better than us on both legs and we had no chance really. The final is about to happen and it is Al-Ain against the league winners for Thailand - We could easily beat them so it feels like a big opportunity missed. Team of The Year As you can see the average ratings are much higher than before - probably something to do with the fact we won a domestic treble. Thebaker
2029 Table | Squad | Transfers Started the season in reasonable form before a 6 game winless streak followed by a 6 game winning streak. This put the team within 3 points of the playoffs with 7 games to go but only 1 win meant they were resigned to midtable mediocrity again. Swedish cup was a non event again. Finances remain the same as the crowds cover the wages and the board will not increase staff or facilities. Messaoudi was the highest rated player. Keymer missed 3 months through injury but Strom stepped up well in his absence. Athanasiou is rated really poorly by my staff but seems able to do a job. The youth preview never really says much but this intake did give some players with CA very close to the first team. Berisha, Nilsson, Babatunde are all playing at LW in my formation which is a annoyance. Khalil also looks useful. Popular Post Neo_Geo
LEAGUE 2 BECKONS AFTER PLAY-OFF WIN This was meant to be the year of transitioning from the old guard to the new (particularly up front) so expectations were not that high but this squad just kept surprising me. Not only did we achieve promotion via the play-offs after just missing out on the title by 3 points but they also made the FA Cup Third Round where we had the esteemed pleasure of travelling to St Mary's to face Championship outfit Southampton and only lose 2-1. In addition the quarter final was the exiting stage of the FA Trophy where we lost to Yeovil who were also fighting for promotion in our league. Overall our defence tightened up quite a bit but we also weren't quite as prolific infront of goal. Our formation stayed the same but with tweaks to individual instructions and the inclusion of youngsters like Bayleigh Codling Y2-A and Daniel Griffiths Y2-A meant that we started to play wingers in some games rather than inside forwards as I had been doing for the first two season. Average filled dropped due to the stadium expansion, our reputation is now 1.5 and now ranked as 113th most reputable club in England. Confirmation of the junior coaching and youth recruitment being maxed out. League Results Domestic Cup Results Youth Intake In our third intake it looks like some of the early improvements are starting to take effect with a very healthy intake preview with 4 As and 2 Bs which then turned into another Elite fest with 9 Elites and and 6 Top talents on youth intake day. As with the last update here are those Elite talents: Kelvin Sorvel Y3-A D'Arcy Bakkor Y3-A Calen Cottam Y3-A Sam Jones Y3-A Rory Cartwright Y3-A Rhain Fitzhenry Y3-A Daryl Shields Y3-A Andrea Berrini Y3-A Cardo Essende Y3-A Out of the list Sam Jones Y3-A is a really useful player as he is an either footed right and left back who is also fairly professional. Having said that he hasn't made the first team yet but I have promoted and played Sorvel Y3-A, Cottam Y3-A (as I was short of players in DMC given Murphy and Rooney are retiring), Cartwright Y3-A and Fitzhenry Y3-A (who had a goal scoring debut which is always nice). I don't think there is a stand out as there was last year with Meredith Y2-A but a nicely balanced and rounded intake to boost squad depth. Here are the updated player records: Club News A busy year as far as the club is concerned. Robbie Savage seems to have finally buckled and caved in to my demands for the coaching course as he allowed me to go on TWO this year! Coaching Course 1 Coaching Course 2 The area I never had any complaints about was the improvements to junior coaching and youth recruitment as this season saw both now maxed out. To have this position and now in League 2 is precisely where I want to be as this is where I hope we can start to build up a squad capable of working up the leagues over the next few decades Junior Coaching Increase Youth Recruitment Improvement 1 Youth Recruitment Improvement 2 In addition to the requests I had been making there were some that the board applied on their own as we turned professional following the promotion and news of installing a grass pitch at Moss Rose. I'm glad that the decisions made so far have not been ahead of when makes sense i.e. no crazy new stadium when we don't need it, the steps being taken are laying the foundation for a sustained effort to move up the leagues safely and steadily. On the topic of the stadium we had multiple sell outs last year with gate receipts hitting £120k in the play-off Semi Final against Scunthorpe and its very reassuring to see. Admin (transfers) No new trophies still Squad News This was the season where Brice Kalala-Kabangu Y1-A really shone as our main creative force with a 7.65 average rating, 17 goals and 13 assists from 34 starts. The only disappointing thing was that I couldn't play him more as his natural fitness is only 9 and without sports scientists rotation is absolutely crucial with so many games to play. The feeling of relief when the game progresses and you see a week where there is no midweek game is something I cannot overstate the heart lifting effect it has on me John Rooney and Luke Murphy (both are DMCs) retire this year and serial game time moaners Alex Hurst and Lee Duffy (both are AMRLs) are likely to be moved on as well as we start trimming away at the old guard with possibly only the likes of Conor O'Keefe (GK), Tre Pemberton (RB), Drew Baker (CB), Lewis Fensome (CB), Brandon Lee (LB), Sam Perry (DMC) and Neil Kengni (AMR) likely to get game time this season. Here is the squad as it currently stands at the end of season 3. Bingo Card 3 more added to the Bingo Card as Promotion to League 2, Professional Status and Youth Player reaching 50 club appearances are chalked off. I would imagine I might get 2 more this season with 50 goals for a youth player and 100 club appearances but I think that may be it for a few years other than maybe youth players sold for certain fees.

Popular Post dkouv
Poole Town – Season 7 (2030/31) Vanarama National. Very different to our last season in this division - no fear of relegation in sight, no mid-season slump, and we finished solidly in the play-offs, losing to Tranmere in the semi final (a sending off for one of our midfielders didn't help). More of the same next season would be great. Cups Thanks to some favourable draws we made the FA cup 3rd round, and got a decent amount of money there after being drawn away to Fulham. Players The squad is getting more balanced, the only area that is still really weak is center midfield, but we got plenty of good attackers and four decent defenders. Danilo Russo 04a (AMR/ST) and Sean Young 02b (AMC/ST) are the best of the lot, managing 20 goals and 20 assists between them during the season. Youth intake (preview): Decent looking intake, with some players in the positions I badly need - but again let down by terrible personalities. Will try to change my HOYD again in the summer. Facilities Lots of action off the pitch with a 1,000 seat stadium expansion, a takeover by the fans' trust, and - thanks to the FA cup money - coaching and recruitment upgrades. Popular Post Sigguson
I finally had time to finish my 3rd season with FC Gleisdorf 09. I was expecting it to be a though season going in since it was obvious to me that my players on paper lacked the ability to compete in the top division. But with only one relegation spot I was hopeful that I would be able to avoid relegation. The team had a really good season and managed to finish 6th place before the league was split and qualified for the Championship group. I had a really bad start in the group but managed to turn it around and grab the 4th place finish and qualification for European football for next season. It was a good season but the goal is still gonna be to avoid relegation next season and hopefully I can get to the league stage in the Europa league but that also requires luck in the draw. Youth intake preditiction was good but then the intake itself was a little bit dissapointing but with one stand out player the Croatian winger Muric who I have high hopes for in the up coming seasons. I really hope I get a central defender or a player that I can train into the position because I really want to move away from using the 28 year old Grgic because there is no future progress with him there.

JD78
Hi all. Just found this thread again and spent a good while looking through! I watch a couple of streamers doing youth only saves and wanted to give it a go myself to make the game more challenging or at least have a new challenge. I like using my local team which is Forres Mechanics from the Highland League in Scotland. I've done a regular save with them and taken them all the way so that's done. I'd really like to complete it as a youth challenge but there are a couple of issues. To use Forres Mechanics there are 2 options. Either wait for them to be promoted into the playable league or use a downloaded database. Anyone who has played the lower than playable leagues in Scotland using a database will know how difficult it is to get promoted from the Highland or Lowland league into Scottish League 2. So holidaying and waiting for Forres Mechanics to get promoted could take forever. In fact I don't think it's ever likely to happen, even in game. I've never seen them enter the real game world in any save I've ever done over the last few years! All that said, I started the challenge with a downloaded database and took over Forres in the Highland League. Perhaps that makes my effort invalid in terms of the 'official' rules but I'm sticking with it and that's my justification. All other rules will be adhered to, zero signings, youth players only! Hopefully I'll get involved with adding screenshots as I go along but here's the story so far after 3 seasons. 1st season - we had a couple of loan strikers already in the squad from Inverness (Championship) and Elgin (L2) who were way above Highland League level so I immediately set up a 2 striker tactic and went quite attacking to really get them involved and they were great. Their goals had us top of the table at Xmas by a few points but alas, their loan spells ended in the new year! I replaced them with a young squad striker (Morrison) and a veteran (Fraser) who did well in the same formation and we won the league. Very close at the end with Brechin coming strong. That meant a 2 leg playoff against the Lowland League winner followed by a 2 leg playoff against the team placed bottom of League 2. A promotion in the 1st season! Also in that 1st season I got a coaching badge after a new contract offer to get to National C. I employed a HOYD with Determined personality and 18 for working with youngsters. I still have this HOYD now and hope he'll start doing better. My intakes are not great. More on that later. The 1st season intake was bad. The preview said C, D, E rated players and there were no nice surprises when the intake came through. Understandable I suppose with very poor facilities and the HOYD had not had time to improve things yet. No elite talents at all, a few 'top' talents which were really not. Nobody anywhere near close to 1st team level or that I felt had the potential to be. I signed the lads with good personalities and those with 4 star potential but nobody has trained well from this group and impacted the 1st team at all. They'll all be gone when their youth contract ends. A great 1st season though. Season 2 - first season in League 2. My starting 11 was pretty consistent last season in a 4222 formation that suited the players I had so I stuck with that. I did need to use some of the last year's intake for substitute places but as described, none came close to 1st team level. That said, my Highland League winning team did me proud. We came 3rd in the league and lost out in the first round of the playoffs to Stenhousemuir. A successful season all told. A 'new' player to me was Henderson, an AM/STR, who had been out on loan last season. He went in up front with Morrison and I phased out the veteran, Fraser. I had this consistent 11 of existing players all season and noted that they were all quite young. 20 - 25ish and all improving, some very well. Will this make it harder for regen players to break in? Time will tell. Fraser was the only real veteran and being out of contract at the end of the season, I released him. I managed to get another coaching license to National B and also got an extra coaching and physio slot. I was surprised when I requested an improvement to the youth and training facilities and got both which put us slightly in debt. Earlier in the season they'd also improved junior coaching and youth recruitment. I was hopeful we might get a better intake. The preview promised an A! The reality was a little underwhelming. Just 1 elite talent that was a right wing back with an unambitious personality and low determination. Signed him anyway, being hopeful but our first team right back is 4 star current ability, still has 5 star potential ability and is playing well and still improving. He's a backup and will get games here and there and we'll see what happens. There were a couple of DMs with a bit of potential but poor personalities. 1 player intrigued me a bit. An AM centre (which I use) with a Model Citizen personality. He had 2.5 grey stars current ability when signed and 3.5/4 star potential ability. I know the stars don't mean everything but his stats were also bad. I wouldn't have signed him had it not been for 2 things. His personality and also his freekick and corner stats. They were by no means huge - 7 for corners and 12 for freekicks. Significantly better set piece stats than any other player in my squad. Did a bit of thinking on it and thought why not throw him in next season as an experiment. This is a long save afterall and I need to get young players through. His personality couldn't be better and the set piece skills could be useful. I was looking forward to what season 3 would look like with him in the team every week and I'm prepared to be patient and wait a couple of years for the improvements to impact the youth intakes. Season 3 - a very unexpected promotion! Possibly not the best thing that could happen but I suppose you'll always take it. A strange season and one in which persistence and not panicking prevailed after a very inconsistent start. We had virtually the same eleven as last season, shuffling in the Model Citizen experiment by moving one of the current AMs to DM and moving the DM to right back. This phased out the current right back whose ability had plateaued. We were playing really well in the 1st half of the season but kept giving away 2 goal leads to either draw or lose late on. Nothing I tried seemed to work to stop the late goals. We were second bottom and only Forfar were below us. They were having a dreadful season so I wasn't worried about relegation. I was checking the overall league stats and we were above average almost across the board so I kept the faith despite the poor form. Dropping the defensive line and changing to positive from attacking seemed to help and the form improved although we were never what I'd call consistent. We sneaked into 4th on the final day of the season to claim the last playoff spot. We beat Stranrar 4 - 2 at home after being 3 nil up and then 3 - 2 away to get into the final against Stenhousemuir who we beat in both legs 3- 2 again after being well ahead. The defensive frailties are still there but we're sneaking through with our excellent strikers. The Model Citizen experiment was interesting and I stuck with it. He ended up with a 6.8 average, 4 goals and a few assists. He played almost every game. The only time I didn't start him was when a striker was unavailable. My only backup striker is a 16 year old who's not even 1 star rated so I tended not to start both 16 year olds when possible. My Model Citizen did improve in star rating from 2.5 grey stars to 1 yellow star. Currently he's got 3/4 star PA. I played him mainly because of the set piece attributes. Despite him being our best corner and free kick taker, we didn't score 1 goal from a corner or free kick all season! I was also doing an additional focus on his training alternating between corners and free kicks. Despite this, his corner taking has dropped from 7 to 5 and his free kicks have dropped from 12 to 11. Another odd thing is that I was getting coaching messages saying that he isn't our best free kick taker and he shouldn't be anywhere near that duty. Even having dropped to 11 free kicks, he's still our best rated in this area by some distance so I can't quite understand that. We're a semi pro club so only train a couple of days per week. Next season I'm going to squeeze in more set piece routine training and see how that looks. Model Citizen will be staying in the team for now because nothing came through the intake again. Ok so to the intake for season 3. I expected the HOYD's influence to be a bit more apparent now. Halfway through the season we did get another increase to youth recruitment and junior coaching so that's 2 improvements on each now altogether. They both started at the minimum. I know it's probably too soon to impact this season's intake but I hoped it would be better. It was not. Having watched a few streamers and content creators and also seeing some of the intakes on this thread it's very frustrating! I see people doing saves with semi pro teams getting 1st team ready players, 5 or 6 elite talents, decent top talents coming through. I'm getting nowt! There were a couple with 1 star ability but bad personalities and low determination. Got to sign them up as I need the players now, particularly as I've just been promoted. I can't understand what more I could do? Please help if you can! My HOYD has a good personality and works very well with youngsters. He has a decent reputation. I'm holding on to the hope that it will improve as my reputation improves. We're now a 1.5 star rated club. I knew this save would be long and hard as this is part time football in Scotland but I expected a bit more talent coming through to be honest having seen other gamers' experiences. I'll keep trying to improve the facilities. Obviously spending very little on wages so we tend to grow our money a little. I have about £130k and about to start season 4. I'll be attempting to improve the junior coaching and youth training facilities again this year. Starting season 4 now. I'll try to include some screen shots from here as the story progresses. First season in L1 in Scotland. We'll be semi pro until/if we hit the Premiership I should think. Ten of the starting eleven are still the same players from the Highland League team but that's all that's left of that squad. The subs and youth team are all Newgens so there's no going back now! There was 1 DM that was out on loan all last season and he's come back 1 star current ability and 4/4.5 star PA so he's one that might break in. Also a GK with a driven personality might get a few games. Cheers for reading if you made it to here!
Popular Post Daddy
Season 18 - 2040/41 - Czechia - First Division: Back-to-back Championships! We haven't quite pulled away with the league yet, but winning consecutive seasons while having the European competition schedule congestion is a great sign we're on the right path. 2040/41 - Champions League: My goal was to push to finish in the top eight to continue making measurable progress. From there I hoped to be competitive in the round of 16. This run exceeded expectations as we only had one clunker of a match, and it was against Real Madrid who dominated the league phase. We also had big wins against Bayern and Manchester United. After enjoying our bye we get matched up against Girona. Girona has developed into a Champions League regular but has not been able to beat out Real Madrid for the La Liga title. Our run ended in the quarter-finals against PSG but didn't look out of place against the eventual runner-ups. Youth Intake: Context: 2.5 Yellow Stars floor is "Decent First Division" standard player and 4 stars have a ceiling of "Leading First Division Player". Misc Updates: Not crazy here, trimming some fat and some loans. This was one of the last big transfers I let go through. Now that the club is an established Champions League team money isn't an issue, but that's one hell of a lottery ticket coming through. two new additions to the wonderkid list. 2041/42 Season Preview: Have to plan for three in a row here. Anything else would be a disappointment. A tougher group than last season, but I'm still expecting to push for the top eight again. I think we're now starting to hit the point in the save where with the right draw and some luck we could probably win the whole thing at any point, but could also crash out early just as easy.

He's off with a record fee of 13,5M€. Board accepted to improve our youth facilities an youth recruitment. A little bit help from the press was needed. Spoiler Spoiler In swedish cup we finished 3rd in our group. League League season was pretty solid. we finished 11th with record points haul 40. Middtable was really close to each other and we were never really clear from relegation playoffs untill final few rounds. James Kyambadde 34A and Jonas Schaaf 41E played fairly well in the midfield. Popular Post naterr
Tony Pizza at Kerala United FC - Go Hornbills! - Season 18 Domestic Competitions Preseson cup was a nice start, easily getting to the final and getting another trophy. In the league - we had another unbeaten season until the playoffs. We got to the final but unfortunately Mumbai beat us (from 3rd place!) and took the title. I should still get into the champions league but sometimes it goes wrong! In the super cup, we also got the win. Kolkata were no where to be seen in any tournament, so either the other teams are catching up to them or they are getting worse. Youth Intake A brilliant intake! much better than the last few years.7 Coelho comes in as our best Centre back - recently we have had a few players moaning at the lack of quality at the CB position, and this was just what we needed! Coelho Spoiler Our new 15 year old 6 foot 4 giant will fit nicely at the back, As the registration rules are strict we couldn't use him this year in the league, but next year we will. Champions League We were drawn into a relatively easy group this year with Al Sadd the main competition. I was hoping to finish as best runner up again but we actually topper the group, Al Sadd were unable to beat us and they finished second. The second was pretty straight forward, and then for the quarter final draw it shows which half of the draw you will be. This year gave us the hardest route. We seemed to be on the side of the really difficult teams and all the easier ones were on the other side. We did get the furthest we have so far by getting to the semi final, but we had to play Al Ettihad - easily the best team in the competition. We went down 3-1 away, and looked like it was going to be easy for them. In the second leg we pulled it back to 3-3 (and I started to get a bit excited!) however a late winner in the 94th minute gave them the win. We actually were the better side over the two ties but our finishing cost us (also our defense I guess!) Team of The Year Ghosh was amazing again, and his performance was key in the Champions League Semi Final.

Popular Post The_Gato_In_Goal
Sociedad Deportivo Quito - Youth Intake Season 3 More promising of an intake, but still not as good as the first intake we got before there was even a HOYD at the club. Next intake I'm expecting a lot since our new HOYD will have been settled by then, 3 years on the job. Our first team have been complaining about lack of squad depth at GK, so I promised them the youth would improve despite having only 1 poor option at the club. For that reason, I'm glad to have a serviceable keeper in this intake. Even if he has no potential, having some CA already can mean he will play significant minutes and ideally keep everyone happy. Solid looking option, will eithe rplay him up top or retrain on the left, since we don't play with right wingers. Another promising wing back. I like the personality even if the PA isn't that high. He's at least tall enough to stcik as a center back.

Despite player youth players a lot the board didn’t think they had done enough and failed. ???? That was meant to read "hopefully you" This got me searching and I discovered that the earlier problems were not that you didn't get the upgrade, but instead the board sacked you regardless of any other successes. I holidayed ahead to see and of course now I get immediately sacked when the promise runs out. Really sucks I didn't know about that issue. What do people think about reloading and not making that promise? I had a save on the day of the decision since it was the day the intake came through? If not I'll probablt restart with the same club and a different save since I've been enjoying this.
naterr
Tony Pizza at Kerala United FC - Go Hornbills! - Season 19 Domestic Competitions Another clean sweep this year - all three of the domestics we managed to win, and honestly there isn't much competition here anymore. Youth Intake Not as spectacular as last year but I guess we can't have that success every year. The top three all look very good and the improved facilities are really working wonders. The best is Ansari Ansari Spoiler Champions League Quarter finals again this year, slightly unfortunate as we lost on away goals, and the team we lost to won the whole thing - we will get there! Also, I think I have finally realised that 8 teams from East Asia and 8 from West Asia make it through the group stage and then are split up this way for the draw - this makes sense why I always got stuck with the Middle eastern teams (I probably should have worked this out sooner than 19 seasons but never mind) Team of The Year Ghosh had a terrible season with injuries, and I just couldn't get him into the team much, luckily Gurung and D'Souza made up for him, D'Souza topping the scoring charts again in the Shadow Striker Role.

So I settled for the next best option and am promised an upgrade if I develop youth this season, which shouldn't be a problem. I did this with my Cowdenbeath save and they sacked me at the end of the season. I think the promise is bugged am my entire team was under 21, 3 of them were 17 and in their first season. It was really frustrating! Hopefully it works out for you - let us know!
