I was really enjoying my save as well and as far as i can see it's a bizarre bug that unfairly punishes us II think I was sacked after winning the Cup or something) so I would have no problem with reloading and not making the promise It sucks, but it sucks far less than having the save ruined cos of a stupid bug (that they are aware about!) edit: just checked - they sacked me 2 days before a play-off final! two 17 year olds had played 35+ games that season! Popular Post XaW
XaW - Dalum Idrætsforening - Season 2024/25 (Season 1) - 3. division Squad | Transfers | Finances A good first season in Denmark for us. We did lose two of the best players at the club on a free, but that's how it works when the club is amateur and anyone can be stolen at any time. Still, we edged our way into the promotion stage by finishing 6th in the preliminary stage. Once there, we did struggle a fair bit against the best teams and we finished bottom of it. So we can look forward to a new season at this level. The youth intake was really good though, but I didn't get to use many of them yet, as they are not old enough to play. So next season they will become old enough by the newyear, so until then I'll have to deal with what we got. Pokalen: We didn't enter this season. Best players from the academy: Mikkel Stage 25c - As one of the youth that was old enough, I was very happy to see a talented defender. Not amazing matches yet, but still a good start. Ekrem Jurt 25g - Striker is a spot I have many players for, but this kid got a few sub appearances to wet his feet. Tobias Egelund 25k - Versatile and good physicals, so a useful player for us. New club records: Most goals in a season - Oliver Andersen - 15 goals Most league goals in a season - Oliver Andersen - 15 goals Most goals in a match - Oliver Andersen - 2 goals Most goals in a league match - Oliver Andersen - 2 goals Most assists in a season - Søren Zachariassen - 6 assists Most clean sheets in a season - Peter Larsen - 5 clean sheets Most player of the match awards - Oliver Andersen - 5 awards Worst discipline - Søren Zachariassen - 9 yellow cards, 1 red card Most league apps for the club - Marc Gangia - 94 apps Most league goals for the club - Oliver Andersen - 22 goals Youngest player - Mikkel Stage 25c - 16 years, 13 days Oldest player - Søren Zachariassen - 32 years, 210 days Youngest goalscorer - Mikkel Stage 25c - 16 years, 17 days Oldest goalscorer - Søren Zachariassen - 31 years, 344 days Got a few requests for improvements accepted this season. Gundo
Has anyone noticed someone playing a youth only type build a nation save on FM24? I know it sounds insane difficulty wise: use one nation, use only players coming through your academy and you are allowed to move clubs. It might take a few centuries to make really headway aha. I kind of fell into playing it that way after continuing my failed Frigg save in this challenge. Any one know of a user doing that?
Popular Post resurectedja
FM23 Catania - Season 6 – 2028/29 This save has an annual tradition. At the start of the third consecutive season, Chievo trigger Curci’s release clause and he turns them down. We keep our best defender for one more year at least. The sly bookies had high hopes for us, ranking is 3rd in the season preview. Just before the season started, I got a message in the inbox that I never gotten before. Mind you, I have been playing this game for 15 years. The message said we developed a new rivalry! Due to similar season finishes and only 1 draw in 13 games, we are now considered fierce rivals. It was a long and hard battle for most of the season with Consenza and Virtus. We were on top for most of the season, but they would jump us on the occasion. 4 games to go, after we drew against Consenza, which left us with point lead, I was very optimistic. Our last 4 games were against the bottom 3 teams and Virtus at 3. Last game, point ahead and we go and trash Virtus 6 1, both teams doubling their xG. Consenza drew in the last round, so we finished champions with 3 points. After 6 seasons we are going to Serie B baby! The success this season nearly doubled our average attendance record from 640 to 1091! But that wasn’t the most important end of season news. Curci extended his contract for 4 more years! Impressed by our run to the title, Bologna and Torino both offered me the job. We had our worst youth preview yet, but it was still pretty promising. It said that we were expected to get 7 A rated players, 3 of whom were strikers. No goalkeeper or central defender in sight so far. The intake itself looked a bit disappointing. We have gotten 4 elite talents. La Casio is the only elite talent that isn’t 5 stars, but 4,5. He has the best personality of the bunch with professional, with sky high determination of 19. Expect him to terrorize defenses with his pace soon, maybe even next season. Tortelli isn’t slow like his name would refer. He is the second coming of Cervoni, just starting out with a better personality. Giuliani is another high prospect who is unambitious. Had so many in this save. Will try to fix it with tutoring, but so far, I have only succeeded with Cervoni. The last elite kid is Minoti. He is a fickle person who can play everything in the defense, but also has marking 5. Not that promising all in all. There is potential, but even with all my staff having high professionalism, I still get intakes with dogy personalities at the top. But hey, at least those three 2-star prospects are resolute. I managed my 200th game this season. Esposito was the best goalscorer in the league with 28, helped by 9 penalties. This scoring prowess led him to be called up for the U20 World Cup for Italy. Vicedomini was our best rated players for the second season in a row with 7,39. Our left full back on attack and best crosser Lubishtani lead the assist charts with 10. Impressive. Can’t remember the last time I had a full back with double digit assists. Cervoni won the u19 Player of the Month for August and March, Esposito won it for September, January, and April. When it comes to the Team of the Month, , Lubisthani was named four times, , Luongo trice Boccia was named twice like, Lorenzini, Savoia , Vicedomini and Esposito, Zadi was included as well. The Team of the Year included Luongo, Lubishtani, Lorenzini, Boccia, Zadi, Mora and Esposito. Esposito and Savoia were featured in the Italy u18 team. The plans for next season are to play a bit more solid, try and survive in the second division. Hopefully we can give minutes to some of ours 5-star kids. There are 5 or 6 of them who are around the first team. If the results go our way, they should see 20+ games each.
Popular Post CJ'43
Kavala Football Club / Αθλητικός Όμιλος Καβάλα Season 32 - 2055/56 Schedule / Squad / Transfers / Finances / Manager Season summary: We had a decent regular season, finishing 3rd in the first phase of the league. In the championship group, our performance dipped, and after losing the first two matches, I was genuinely worried we wouldn't qualify for the UCL (this season, only the top-2 teams qualify). However, we remained unbeaten for the rest of the year, culminating in our 7th title on the last day after a draw against AEK. For the first time, we won the title in consecutive seasons, and again, with the same points as the runner-up. In the cup, we lost to Panathinaikos in the quarter-finals. In the Champions League, a solid league phase saw us qualifying for the knockouts. We defeated Napoli with a 4-1 aggregate, and despite winning the first leg in Greece against Real Madrid 2-0, we couldn't secure the advantage and ended up losing 3-0. It was gutting. After a brilliant first leg and also defeating the record 20-time champions of the competition in the league phase, this result was a hard pill to swallow... Marios Thraskias (43d) was once again our player with the best average rating this season and was also elected the best Greek player in the league, with Giannis Ouzounis (43h) in second and Ilias Giannikoglou (47b) in third place. The striker was also our top-goalscorer with 27 goals. Giorgos Makridis (52b) won the Talent of the Year award for the best young player in the league. Christos Angelidis (51a) won the Kopa Trophy. I, once again, won the Manager of the Year award. Pavlos Vitlis (54d), on loan at Kifisia, was 31st in the NXGN list of most promising players. Part of the Super League Best XI were: LB Giannis Ouzounis (43h), CB Lyberis Graikos (43j), RB Marios Thraskias (43d), LW Babis Tasiopoulos (45e), and CAM Giogos Lyberakis (46a). Seven Kavala players represented Greece in the European Championship. Greece qualified for the knockouts after finishing 3rd in their group but were eliminated by Germany in the second round. This year, we say goodbye to a club legend, Giorgos Mygas (35j), who played over 400 matches in Kavala's shirt. Youth intake: We have two interesting prospects coming this year, both midfielders - Christos Kygais and Chrysostomos Giatis. Our U19s won their 23rd consecutive league title, as well as their 6th UEFA Youth League. Team history: Manager history:
Popular Post libbyshuss
Austria - 2043/44 - Premier League Wels Have Great first Half of Season, Awful Second Half of Season Not entirely sure why but I suspect it might have something to do with my best 4 players' morale all being in the toilet because i wouldn't let them leave. But right up until November we were fantastic and looked like we could really challenge for the title. We slipped up in November and never really recovered, and our Championship Group results were pretty much disastrous. In the end we had to rely on narrowly beating SCR Altach (who we beat 9-1 in October!) in the European play-off to make the conference league Champions League: We couldn't do worse than last season could we? Well, no because this time around we qualified for the league stage! Once there were rubbish though and were already out when we went to whatever that soulless ground Man City play at these days is called and won! So good for the experience and money but not much else sadly. The rangers result was a bit of a doozy!! Players We got two more wonderkids! Paul Alhaier 40A: Not a total surprise as he was 3* CA at 15, but this season the number 1 striker spot was his. He was ok, inconsistent, sulked all season because he wanted to leave for a club with a stronger squad but still managed 27 goals and to make his full international debut. i still have him signed up for 6 seasons so hopefully he'll stop whining and crying soon. Simon Hoffman 41A: an amazing attacking midfielder who i play AMC. He looks like he could be the real deal as well. Chilled out towards the end of the season so I got him locked down into a 7 year contract with no release fee! Nedim Basic 40F - weird one this. I only really signed him as a youth due to his professional personality, he only ever had 3* potential and was by a long way the third choice right winger. So he spent all season coming on as an impact sub, which it turns out is enough to get you in the NXGN list! Youth So my board have had working towards becoming the best youth system in the world for a while now, which is positive. Except I keep getting these messages But they never give me the option to increase the youth facilities to develop the best youth system! And then the cycle continues! it's very frustrating, we have the money and everything Anyway, here's the preview and intake this season Only one elite again but I think that's a reflection of how good the first team. The U18s are still doing quite well, look:- UEFA Youth League Champions 2043/44! Career
Neo_Geo
@libbyshuss I assume you saw the same 4 players with their training taking a nosedive? As a Rangers fan I know only too well of players “downing tools” IRL and in game I have seen similar in the past and now in my current save I’ve seen it with Adel Y1-A and me turning Bolton away. Its definitely the hardest part of having players that stand out from the rest of the squad. Fid others in the squad then demand you sell them as that usually cause the manager support to drop significantly.

Never seen anyone do it but to be honest I think the youth only challenge is a build a nation of sorts just minus the transfers in and it obviously stops if/when the champions league has been won. You don’t build a nation by only using players of one nation at the start of the save, generally you build the strength of the league by bringing in foreign players. After many, many years if European trophies can be won then the reputation of the league grows and the clubs of that nation improve as well. Here we can’t sign players but I see no benefit in restricting yourself to only play youths from your current nation first of all because the majority will be of that nation anyway and secondly getting players from a better nation possible due to affiliation or nationalities of HoYD etc. is a key strategy for getting success in this challenge for nations with poor youth ratings. If you really enjoy a save and you complete the challenge the rules then go out the window as you can take over the national team as well and sign players if you want or stay true to the youth only rules.
Popular Post Riebow
KSV Oudenaarde Season Review (35/36) League Amazing season all around, where we competed on three levels. We were top of the table at the end end of the regular season, but fatigue started to set in during the Championship group as we were still in the Conference League as well. In the end we finished 4rd and qualified for Europa League football. Anderlecht extended its title. We kept Club Brugge behind us. We're close, but these games are brutal. Croky Cup We finally had a good cup run, but we keep running into Anderlecht. They completely demolished us in the semi-finals. Spoiler Europe (Conference League) But the real magic we kept for Europe. We had a tough road to the league phase, having to get by Banik Ostrava and FC Midtjylland. The league phase however was a doozy, the strongest opponent being Trabzonspor. We finished at top of the league. In the round of 16 we had another lucky draw with Pogon Szczecin from Poland. In the quarters we finally got a real opponent: Valencia. This should have been the end, but our lads thought otherwise. In a incredible performance we absolutely demolished Valencia at home: 3-0!!! In the return leg we had to hold on for dear life. We were down 2-0 at half time, but we stood tall in the 2nd half. No teams from the big leagues were left and in the semis we drew Basaksehir from Turkey. We won both games, to reach our very first European Final. To make things even better, it would be an all-Belgian final with the opponent being Club Brugge. The final: the game couldn't have started worse. They scored on a corner after only 5 minutes. We kept bringing the pressure, but in the second half we've gotten one of those random pushes for a penalty against. 2-0. We scored one back, missed two huge chances in extra time, but couldn't equalise. We lose the final 2-1. Spoiler Youth Intake Another 8 elite talents, but the personalities are mostly negative. Nobody really stands out, so we'll circle back in 5 seasons. Spoiler NXGN Three players in the NXGN-list, on positions 1, 2 and 5 Emmanuel Decorte(AMR/STC; Spirited) Our main striker, scored 19 goals this season. Spoiler Nabik Arkine(DRL; Fairly Professional) Our starting right back Spoiler Kamal Nekkache(DM/MC/AMC; Fairly Ambitious) Now this is a bonafide wonderkid. Only 16 and already an established Jupiler Pro League player, with tons of upside. Spoiler Transfers In January we sold our best player at that point: Pierfrancesco Zanni to Juventus. A nice bit of money: Almost 10M upfront and 50% of the next sale. Here he is. He breaks Jacques Schrauwen's previous transfer record. Spoiler Facilities We improved our youth and training facilities (both are now on Great) Spoiler We also maximised our youth recruitment Spoiler 5 Years ago... The Starters: - Nicolas Didier is our starting left winger and a really good, if inconsistent, players. He scored 17 goals last season combined with 11 assists. The squad players: - Simone Cortinovis: He's a decent option from the bench as an inside forward from the left or a striker - Rémi Franzen: a mostly back-up wing back who can jump in from the left or the right - Rube Charles: Has been on loan the last couple of seasons. Has a lot of speed, but not much else. Might use him as the occasional starter next season The ones that have gotten away: - Dominik Gibas: could have been our starting GK, but sold him last season to Club Brugge, where he's their back-up - Patrick Mbombo: Left at the end of his contract to Francs Borains; could have been useful - Jean-Luc Verelst: Really gutted we lost him. I refused a bid from Club Brugge and the beginning of last season, which made him upset. He refused to renew his contract; and left for a free to RWD Molenbeek. He would have been a regular starter. The others: - Harry de Jong: is now playing for Jong Lede in the provincial divisons - Ryan Michauw: is still at my U21' - Alessandro Battistelli: didn't get a contract - Cédric Van De Velde: plays at Tournai in the 3rd tier - Murphy Makutungu: is at Beerschot's U23's - Pasquale Roelandt: is now playing at KRC Gent in the 4rd tier - Heinrich Van Rooy: didn't get a contract - Terry Paulussen: is at our U21's - Koenraad Janssens: is playing at KVV Zelzate in the provincial divisions Spoiler Next season. Reach the championship group again, and rake in the money in Europe.

Thebaker
2030 Table | Transfers | Squad Shambles of a season were the team started poorly, improved a bit and ended with just 6 points from the last 10 games. The strikers could not score and left to to the midfielders and the CB's and GK had shockers in every game not matter who played. Not entered in the Swedish cup (entry is based on area and rep, i have worked out there are 3 spots in the area and 5 teams in the area with much higher rep than mine and another 3 in the top 2 divisions which don't count for the 1st rd). Finances improved due to this windfall but the board are still refusing every request i make. Messaoudi was sold as i felt that some of the youth players were at a similar standard even though he had played 125 games with 25 goals and was club captain and favored personnel. Lai was the top scorer from CM and best player, Noren played a number of games and showed promise. Keymer scored his 50th goal and became top scorer. Youth preview and intake are a waste of time since my staff cant separate them in any way in terms of potential. Andersson, Holgersson and Tahiri look the best. Popular Post XaW
XaW - Dalum Idrætsforening - Season 2025/26 (Season 2) - 3. division Squad | Transfers | Finances Well, we are promoted to the 3rd tier of Denmark after a very good season. Seems like actually having a bench and a full squad for each match actually make a difference! We were far from flawless, but overall we did very good. I do worry a bit about the central defenders as they, as well as the central midfielders are not the best. We are far better out wide, and that makes the difference at times. I can only hope for better in the coming intakes. As for the league, it started well and just continued good, and we ended the preliminary phase in 1st and kept it in the promotion stage. Unfortunately, there were no trophy seremony, as we won the league without playing when Holstebro drew their match in hand a few rounds before the end, so a bit anti-climactic, I suppose. Still, we are going up, and the board also announced we are going semi-professional! Pokalen: We beat B1913 before we lost to Viborg in the 2nd round. XaW
Alright, pro tip from me. Remember to check that the training intensity is actually set to automatic and not "automatic"... See this guy? Rasmus Skovgaard? He seemingly should have the automated intensity, but he hasn't, he is barely training, I think due to the Workload being "very light". So going into the drop down and selecting "Automatic" again. This changes everything. Now, he is on the same double intensity as the rest and his workload indicates he actually trains now. So, the tip is, go into individual training and check every once in a while.
Winski
@XaW Question about your save in Denmark: did you come across the problems that I had in my save? I couldn't give my staff part-time contracts. And I lost several players for free, while they had a semi-pro contract. On 21/05/2024 at 21:30, Winski said: Well, I'm not sure if I will continue this save. There are some problems in Denmark, I think. I can't give my staff part-time contracts, only amateur contracts. So that's a bit weird, as we are semi-pro. But more important: other clubs can sign my players for free, even when they have a semi-pro contract! At the start of season 3 I lost several players, because other/bigger clubs can just sign them for free. I don't like that. At all. So I lost the motivation a bit to continue this save. Popular Post Winski
FK Rača Bratislava Season review Season 10 | 2033-2034 Niké liga Transfers | Affiliates | Facilities | Finances | Manager Profile | Club overview We finally did it! After ten seasons, we are the champions of Slovakia!! And not even that, we won the Double as we also won the Cup again. And how: we won 0-4 against our biggest rival Slovan Bratislava. So it's fair to say that we are one of the best teams in the country now. We won the league with 20(!!) points ahead of the nr. 2 MSK Žilina. A surprising nr. 2, because for the first time in 13 years Dun. Streda didn't finish in the Top 2. They finished 5th this season, and nearly qualified for European football. The only reason they qualified is that from this season, Slovakian teams now got 5 European spots, instead of 4. And with our 1st place we qualified for the Champions League for the first time! Not the League Phase yet, but the Playoff. But that's also a huge step forward compared to last season, as the winner of the league from last season only qualified for the First Qualification Round. So that means that if we fail to qualify for the CL League Phase, we still got a guaranteed Europa League Phase ticket Europe We had a very good European run in the Conference League this season. Not as good as last season, but still a good one. We lost in the Round of 16 against the later winner of the Conference League: Sparta Praha. So if we had to lose against the later winner, it's not that bad. Players At the start of the season I lost my best player Stanislav Guľa 31a. He went to AC Milan for a transfer record of € 7,5M. A big loss, but also a very good transfer for us. The biggest transfer in Slovakian history, and we even got a 50% clause. He didn't play a single game this season for them. But he's in their first team squad, on the bench, waiting for his chance. With his departure, I had to shuffle our midfield a bit. I made space for youngster Miroslav Kalman 32c, and wow, what a season he had. He played 51(!) matches, scoring 21 goals and 18 assists. And he even made his debut for the national team! What a player. Let's take a look at the players who made us champions this season: GK Lubomir Ilko 30a : very talented GK. A bit on the short side, but he's our most talented GK. DL Lubomir Gabris 32a : a great young player, who already played 2 matches for the national team. DC Jozef Kica 31c : a good, tall and brave defender DC Dusan Kralovic 28e : our captain! Solid defender. DR Marek Kocis 28c : a great wingback, with 3 caps now. Lots of good clubs are interested in him, but he doesn't want to leave. MC Roman Luhovy 29d : our carilero. Really nice player, but his attributes hasn't improved the last two seasons. MC Samuel Kolesar 28d : our 'weakest' player, but still a very important one. A real leader on our midfield. MC Miroslav Kalman 32c : our new goldmine. Fantastic player. SC Stefan Sokol 31b: very talented striker. Scored 24 overall goals this season. SC Viktor Lukac 30c : our topscorer! Scored 32 overall goals. SC Peter Lukac 24c : club legend! Is scoring goals for fun. But we got some really talented youngsters coming, so I'm not sure if he can keep his place. Youth intake A very promising preview, and a very promising intake as well! Some really nice players in this intake. Can't wait to see how they will develop. And although I'm still happy about my HoYD Ibrahima Sidibé, I am looking for a replacement. I want someone with better judging-abilities, and with a different preferred formation. Spoiler Upgrades We were finally able to upgrade our Youth Facilities again! After many, many years of waiting for the option to come back. But after the upgrade was completed, the option was there again, but the board isn't willing to upgrade it again. Let's hope that will change soon. And we also expanded our stadium. We now got a capacity of 10.800. Progress

I'm not sure if I've done the right thing here, but considering the HOYD that I've replaced had horrendous stats and only a Balanced personality, I've decided to replace him with a Goalkeeping Coach who has a Model Citizen personality. At first he told me simply where to shove my offer (basically where the sun doesn't shine), but I persuaded him by giving him a second job as a Goalkeeping Coach, which basically means he will have a dual role in the club. Has anyone else had experience in offering dual roles and does it affect anything in a bad way? Here is who I signed... Good idea, but the last time I had my HOYD doing a second job, he was absolute trash. He had perfectionist personality but the intakes personalities were always awful. After I replaced him with a HOYD with a worse personality (I think it was professional), the intakes started to improve. Now I cant really remember if his first or second job was HOYD, but it didnt work for me. So my advise would be to wait for someone who wants to work as a HOYD full time and has a good personality. I for example found an HOYD with Model Citizen personality from Azerbaijan and dragged him to Romania haha - took me 10 years tho

Popular Post naterr
Tony Pizza at Kerala United FC - Go Hornbills! - Season 20 Domestic Competitions The domestic competitions are very easy at the moment, clean sweep in pre season cup and Super league - 5-0 in Super League final! However in the super cup final we did actually lose (but it wasn't our most upsetting loss this year) Youth Intake Youth intake came and went - and I completely forgot to take a screenshot at the time! Pretty good year - since we have improved the facilities the youth players have looked much better - and high potential too. Pal Spoiler Champions League One of our best so far. We topped our group even with difficult opposition. Knockout rounds are always hit and miss but we made it all the way to the Semi Final. We had to take on Al-Ahli from Saudi, and they proved too much. We did start a come back in the second leg but it didn't come to much. I really started to believe we might make it to the final, maybe next year??? Team of The Year D'Souza brings in the best rating this year - but this year every player has a rating above 7! Also, Valentini and Pircher (the San Marino duo) have broken into the first team and are doing well.

Popular Post Neo_Geo
SILKMEN PUNCHING WAY ABOVE THEIR WEIGHT A crazy season where I had genuinely been fearing the step-up in quality and expecting a hard fight against relegation but in the end we finished just shy of the automatic promotion spots after a collapse at the end of the season and then were just outplayed in the play-off semi final against Salford. I think my squad rotation had a large part to play in our success when the games came thick and fast but as we got to about 42 games the fixtures started to spread out and it gave other teams around me the chance to get their first choice players fit once more. I had promised Michael Meredith Y2-A we'd be promoted if he stayed another year (here was me thinking it was next season) but we got a bid that I was comfortable enough with letting him go and it's just as well as he'd have been kicking up a stink. Though perhaps on another hand his quality might have just helped us get over the line. I always want to get promoted but the silver lining here is that our squad just isn't ready for the step-up to the next level for a 46 game season. Another year at this level allows me to get some of the 2 star current ability youngsters to improve just as Laluz Y2-A did this year (now 4.5 star). There is now doubting that my defence is too leaky once more with no real quality in goal, at centre back or left back, only really Laluz Y2-A is what I consider good enough at this moment in time. In the cups we progressed 1 round in the Carabao Cup, I fielded a weakened side in the Bristol Street Motors cup and we got 3rd place in the group but it was the FA Cup that stood out. We made the FIFTH Round beating Stoke at their ground along the way. We were very lucky in the Fourth Round getting drawn at home to Vanarama National side Southend and then we got the glamour tie at the Etihad and the much needed financial boost that came with it. The team had it in them to pull performances right out of the top drawer but as I said earlier it just isn't possible to sustain this level currently. Balance has dropped as we are spending around £200k a month on the youth setup but it looks like we could get more income with a stadium expansion as the average attendance is just shy of a sell out for every game. League Results Domestic Cup Results Youth Intake The Intake Preview was promising with another 6 positions with an A and once again we had a huge intake of Elites with 11 of them this year. Sam Hill Y4-A Kim Plechaty Y4-A Josh Bateman Y4-A Kelvin Mayman Y4-A Ken Thomas Y4-A Osian Stanton Y4-A Ian Marsh Y4-A Nicolas Thevenin Y4-A Sean Burns Y4-A Mark Morrison Y4-A Gareth Bolger Y4-A Pick of the bunch for me is Kim Plechaty Y4-A who has all the makings of a really solid ball winning midfielder for me, just need to work on strength and defensive positioning. With Brice Kalala-Kabangu Y1-A still looking to leave getting Sam Hill Y4-A in was much needed as D'Arcy Bakkor Y3-A from last year isn't quite ready for this level yet. No DC or LB in the intake are ready to take the starting berth in the first team but certainly some options for rotation to get match experience up. Club News Robbie Savage continued to be a decent chairperson this year with a further two coaching courses approved: Continental C Continental B In addition to this our first training facilities upgrade was approved but is still in progress hence no change to the training facilities level. Admin (transfers) Squad News The main talking point this year was the sale of Michael Meredith Y4-A here is Meredith Y4-A's profile at the time of leaving. I stood my ground with the £500k up front and 50% of next transfer and it scared off Stoke and Derby but Sheff Wed kept coming back but I kept telling them what it would take and they finally offered it. The sale largely paid for the training facility upgrade but as ever the key is the 50% of next sale because depending on how much potential he has and how well he does it could be a lot more than the £500k. In other news Adel Y1-A is now happy and as soon as this news came in I went to offer him a contract as he is still on a part-time deal until 2030. To my astonishment he would talk but his agent locked in a minimum transfer fee of £210k and given he has now broken into the full Egypt squad (still to get a cap) this is way too low for me, so I abandoned the talks then tried the resolve contract talks with agent the next day.......he refused to talk So as it stands I have Adel Y4-A for another 2 years under contract but foreign clubs have been putting in bids of around the £200k mark and I promised him I would let him go for £750k just 1 day after we lost to Salford in the play-offs. Adel Y1-A is huge for me and he even won the top goalscorer this year. Lalauz Y2-A also wants to play with better players but I managed to get him on a full time contract to 2031 with an optional 3 years so the only worry is keeping him happy enough that his performances in training and on the park don't nosedive. He has been involved in the Israeli U121s so he might not be too far from a full international call up soon. I really have to try to focus on getting the squad as a whole improving in a more balanced fashion even if it means sacrificing results next year, having 1 or 2 head and shoulders above the rest always ends up with them wanting to leave. Squad Overview Bingo Card Going into this season I wasn't expecting a great deal of progress with the card but here we are with another 5 marked off: I would expect IF I can keep a hold of Adel Y1-A and IF he stays fit the 100 goals for a youth player and potentially 1st non-English cap will be marked off.
The_Gato_In_Goal
Sociedad Deportivo Quito - Review Season 3 With the board playing youth bug avoided, we ended up exceeding all expectations in the first season in the top flight. The league didn't have much parity and it felt like anyone could beat anyone, but I was surprised to end up in 2nd place in the apertura phrase. We came back down to earth after that, but still finished a very respectable 5th place and will be playing in the Copa Sudamericana next season. As you can see, we were closer to 13th place than we were to 2nd and 6 points separated 5th to 10th. The youth really improved (will have a youth progress update out next) to become key performers this season, and promptly kicked up a fuss about moving to a stronger club as the year ended. We have them all locked up for the next 5 seasons though, so no need to worry yet. . Top 3 performers: Spoiler Having some continental competition prize money will be nice next season, but we're finally secure for now. Have not managed to bank enough for any upgrades however. Nothing, squad is a good size now.
Popular Post CJ'43
Kavala Football Club / Αθλητικός Όμιλος Καβάλα Season 33 - 2056/57 Schedule / Transfers / Finances / Manager Season summary: It wasn't our best season in the challenge, but we managed to qualify for the UCL. We had a lot of draws against teams we should have beaten easily, and we finished the first part of the season 10 points off the top of the table. The championship phase was highly competitive, with no clear favorites as every team seemed capable of beating one another. We maintained 3rd place, finishing 12 points behind Asteras Tripolis, who won their second-ever title. In the cup, we beat Kozani but were eliminated by Olympiacos in the quarter-finals. In Europe, we had a decent run in the league phase, nearly qualifying directly for the Round of 16 with notable victories against Porto, Barcelona, and Tottenham. However, a 2-1 loss in the last match against Celtic sent us to the knockout stage, where we faced Celtic again. We lost the first leg in Scotland, but a convincing 3-0 win at home advanced us to the Round of 16. There, we faced Liverpool, whom we had also faced in the league phase, at that time losing 3-2 after leading 2-0 in England. In the first match of the knockout round, we lost 1-0 at home. In the second leg, we equalized the aggregate score with five minutes to go, but Liverpool scored a minute later, sending us out once again. For the 8th time, we couldn't progress beyond the Round of 16 in the competition. Giannis Ouzounis 43h was our most consistent player with an average rating of 7.18, and despite missing a good part of the season due to injury, Ilias Giannikoglou 47b was our top goalscorer. Giorgos Pallas 52c was named the European Golden Boy, and on the NXGN list, Pierre 54a ranked 12th and Pavlos Vitilis 54d ranked 38th. Our right-back Marios Thraskias 43d was our only player included in the Super League Best XI. We also rejected a 40 million euro offer for our defensive midfielder Christos Angelidis 51a. Youth intake: We had a pretty decent batch, with a few interesting players coming through, including Nicolás Rodriguez 57a, Joe Sweeney 57b, Stavros Diamantopoulos 57c, and Giorgos Raikos 57d. This year, the Kavala board finally announced the construction of a new stadium. My initial request was rejected, but after I leaked to the press that the board had no vision for the club's future, they finally decided to build a new home. Unfortunately, the board lacked creativity and decided to name the new stadium "Kavala Stadium," just like the old one. This project is much needed as it will more than double our capacity. We already had around 97% capacity in all home matches, with almost 31k season ticket holders and another 30k on the waiting list for a 34k stadium. The 220 million euros invested in the stadium will be paid immediately, and we still have another 200 million in our balance. Popular Post libbyshuss
Austria - 2044/45 - Premier League Wels Perform Solidly Throughout the Season, End Up Accidentally Winning The League! League: Somehow, we won the league in one of the weirdest wins I've ever had! we were fine throughout the season, but consistently 3rd or 4th. We just couldn't get that run together that gets you top. In the Championship Group we started 5 points behind Salzburg, so with a good run of results we could easily catch up. We lost the first game, then kept drawing, and were 5th halfway through and I started panicking that we'd miss out on European football. With 3 games to play Salzburg were 7 points clear at the top. And then the weirdest thing happened...... we won our final 3 and Salzburg lost their final 3! And somehow, when there were no games left to play, we were sitting at the top! for the first time all season! And the best thing? We won that final game of the season with a 90+4 minute goal!! European Conference League: We had fun in the conference league as well, which helped. We cantered all the way through to the quarter final, where we met Aberdeen. Having beaten Rangers 7-1 last season I admit to complete complacency thinking we'd breeze through. They battered us 3-0 in the second leg! Players Two wonderkids in the NXGN top 50! Hoffman is no surprise but Jurkic is a pleasant surprise. A natural at left wing and right back (!) he's a really handy squad option! Popular Post Thebaker
Table | Squad | Transfers Similar season to so many others where the team started in indifferent form, packed up midway and ended poorly with 4 points from the last 7 games. I thought the team had been unlucky in the early season where they dominated matches creating loads but not getting results due to poor finishing and defending. I was surprised to get a message after the season that the club had set a new club record for least goals, looking at the stats the team was about midway in the league for shots, in the bottom third for chances and 2nd from bottom for conversion. The defense was the 2nd best in the league. Finances stayed the same as there are no changes to the club, although the first team is getting a bit full as the team has no reserve team. Lai and Keymer were again the best players. The youth preview promised much and the intake was underwhelming. Larson was the best which isn't saying much. Lucas is a triple national. The_Gato_In_Goal
Sociedad Deportivo Quito - Youth Intake and Youth Review Season 4 Solid intake, not sure what a random Englishman from Pershore is doing in Ecuador however. Russell 04a looks like a star and Luis Zambrano 04b profiles to be a solid DLF in our system. I like the looks of Orellana 04c and Valencia 04d too. Class of 2024 Alvarez 01a has been a 2 year starter now and developed into a decent Serie A player according to my staff. Isn't good enough to fuss about leaving, but is under contract for 5 more years. Castillo 01b never developed enough to stick in the first team, we're loaning him out this coming season to get some playing time as he is 18 now. Still has potential according to the staff, but will he reach it. Batioja 01c is in a similar situation, but has never appeared for the senior team. Loaning him out. Briones 01d took a large step forward this season, splitting time between being a WB and a WCB. Very solid player, is happy to be at the club, and contracted for 6 years. Ayovi 01e is the best player at the club, and looks the part. Has raised concerns about moving to a larger club, but it under contract for 5 more years. Hopefully the interest in him remains domestic, as we do have the Spanish and Portuguese leagues loaded (along with all of South America) to make it harder to keep our players. Mantilla 01f is in the exact same situation as Ayovi 01e, but we'd like to keep him around as long as possible for obvious reasons. Class of 2025 Jimenez 02a is still in the youth teams, will keep him there this year then look to loan him out. Garcia 02b is not improving much in our youth team. Garcia 02c won a few appearances in the senior squad towards the end of last season. Looking to him to continue to develop into a rotation piece despite his iffy PA. Macias 02d is the star of this class with his development and Professional personality. He won a long term extension last season and will play a larger role going forward. Class of 2026 Arce 03a needs to crack on with development this year after a stagnant first season since I still have high hopes for him. Loor 03b learned to play AML entirely from scratch last season and looks promising. Estupinan 03c didn't develop at all, so looking for more. Valencia 03d has a good floor, but needs to imrpve to reach his ceiling. Carabali 03e is in a similar situation. Mendez 03f actually has improve a tiny bit, but needs to kick it on. Valarezo 03g is another non-improver. Pineda 03h still has no PA according to my staff, but only conceded 36 in 30 appearances last year (2 POTM) at the age of 15 in the top flight, so you be the judge.

I haven't thought about Scotland in a while, but is it possible that relegation/promotion is determined by a playoff and the team that would have been promoted lost that playoff? The_Gato_In_Goal
Ecuador made the final stage of the competition before finishing bottom, but at least Briones 01d impressed!
Popular Post dkouv
Poole Town – Season 8 (2031/32) Vanarama National. Another playoff appearance, but our form fell off at the end of the season and we lost to Boston Utd in the first round. Players Danilo Russo 04a (AMR/ST) is our best player by far now, he should probably be paying league football but I'll try to hold on to him for a while. Youth intake (preview): An ok intake with slightly better personalities than last time, but nothing particularly inspiring. Facilities We had an internal takeover and the new board allowed me to upgrade coaching and recruitment. Popular Post naterr
Tony Pizza at Kerala United FC - Go Hornbills! - Seasons 21 (1/2) Domestic Competitions Domestic Treble again this year - it really has become so much easier in the last few years - I am not sure if we have just progressed really quickly or the other teams have gotten worse - but I can easily put a rotated side out and usually win (which is what I end up doing in the playoffs sometimes when Champions League matches are mid week and I want the players fighting fit) Youth Intake Excellent was the preview - but not when it arrived. a bit "meh" really - nothing exciting! One player I liked was Basumatary - mainly as he is a Centre back and Striker- nice combo! but his 2 in finishing means he is unlikely to play up top for us. Basumatary Spoiler Champions League This year the biggest threat, Al-Ittihad, returned to the competition. Their team is incredible and we would have no chance, on the plus side we had 3 Indian teams in the group stage. The India is now second in the coefficient table, which is awesome. I know this isn't a build a nation save but we seem to be doing well with it! The group stage draw was kind and we managed to top the group with ease In the second round Al-Sadd, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ain were all still in it, they have all won the Champions League within the last 4 years. Another stroke of luck - we avoid all of them as we are drawn on the other side of the draw - and would only face one in the Semi Final. Al-Ittihad are knocked out in the second round by Al-Sadd, who are then knocked out in the Quarters by Al-Ain. We get through Mumbai (who are a walk in the park now) and then 8-4 win over Al-Nassr gets us to the Semi. And...we beat Al-Ain in the Semi 5-4! The Semi Final matches were intense. We were 2-1 down in the first match (which was at home too so very disappointing). In the second leg we went 3-0 at half time and it was very exciting - then they came back and leveled the score. Chakraborty scores a powerful headed goal from a corner and we take the lead. In the 89th minute they are awarded a penalty and I fall to the floor out of despair, but it was overturned by VAR (god I love VAR!!!!) Nail-biting finish but what a game! (We also got to wear our Indian flag inspired Kits which I made ) I have never been so up and down with emotion on a match (that I can remember), I kept thinking we had won it, then threw it away, I needed a break! I'm going to have a break and a cup of tea before the next matches! Update soon I promise!
Popular Post naterr
Tony Pizza at Kerala United FC - Go Hornbills! - Seasons 22 (2/2) Champions League We did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a 2-0 loss in the second leg could have cost us but the brilliant performance of the first leg saw us through. After the first leg I thought I had won it comfortably, but two of our best players were out of the final (one injured and the other suspended) but the guys did great. What a team! Ghosh with the highest rating for the year - but D'Souza won player of the year, but didn't make team, of the year?? ^^^ Crazy that we only sold one player! This year about 4 of the good ones are wanted by European clubs, so it was probably lucky we did it this year. I hope one or two of you have enjoyed the updates - I have loved it. Next stop - Africa!
