  1. Hah well if you pick BVI you'll come across "Old Madrid" - a team for older players. They're currently propping the bottom of the table up. Turks and Caicos has two(!) out of the 6 top flight teams producing Haitian regen players.
  2. Not as far as I know - found no evidence for it. Rendezvous will produce some Vincentian players when the next major update comes, but they're also an extinct club now... There are more than a couple Caribbean teams producing interesting regens. There's a Portuguese club in Saint Barth (although they don't participate in international competitions yet), and a couple make Haitian regens across th region. Venezuelans in Trinidad and one of the ABCs too.
  3. Sad News @WhiteCat33 - looks like Road View are no more. Not in any of the top 4 leagues.
  4. Perfect thanks for the WRBSSC, was wondering how the hell to figure it out. The challenge of making Barbados made me sign up for an Instagram account (for work, these days Facebook isn't as useful as it used to be), so I had found these and was hoping you had a final one for D2/D3 Nearly done with D2 updated;
  5. The links aren't working for me :(. I presume D1 is dropping to 12 teams. I could make it work (you copy it in the advanced rules and set one to end in 2023 and the other to stat in 2024), but I'll keep it simple and just have 2 up and 2 down. Since you're here, any idea what WRBSSC stands for? My best guess is BSSC is Bagatelle Sports and Social Club, but Bagatelle FC already exists in D1, so two clubs? But BSSC links to the D1 team, suggesting a reserve team?
  6. It looks like I didn't account for the fact that I updated the BFA clubs in the official database, but didn't remove the changes I made in the file from last year I'll update the file as well as the official database. I can't find out what the standings would be for 2024, as the latest data I could find is from the unfinished stage of this year; https://www.instagram.com/p/Cr1f3C6uUY_/ https://www.facebook.com/BarbadosFA/photos/bfa-division-2-standings-/680013667469964/?paipv=0&eav=AfYSV9zHRxzmbXuAOnwPxfTjMI6k6G_W0Qk0H_OO3GykAUu9peBGLR--hBxo4igQVQM&_rdr https://www.instagram.com/p/CsHLwbfOoLk/ If you have a source for the end results of the lower divisions I'm super interested I can see what you mean now. I've mainly only had time for the top leagues in the region, Barbados will receive a significant update the next time the game releases a major data update, and my next file update will have an up-to-date Bajan pyramid.
  7. They do qualify, top two teams go into the Caribbean Shield on game start. Second place goes into the first Round; First place goes into Phase 1 Group stage;
  8. Basically, I've not gone into granular detail for clubs and a couple stadiums are missing - happy if you post them to go through them when I update next.
  9. That's strange - I'm guessing the computer can just ignore this restriction and that's why I didn't pick it up... I'll fix it when I do the next update (and I'll make Barbados a big thicker for @LeB8
  10. You likely have better info than me living in Barbados - the FA shut their website down so I wasn't able to get up-to-date info on Division 3. Looks like the Republic Cup changed format too...
  11. I only have one on mine - I replaced it. Are you using any other editor files at the same time?
  12. Absolutely brutal. Does he have poor "big games" stats? Maybe he tried a killer ball? Maybe he was so short he couldn't see past the players? lol His composure is 12 and he was using his weaker foot, so maybe the player within two feet of him was enough to throw him off?
  13. I tried, I spend 2 weeks from release trying to get it working another way... It's annoying as if you click the "teams" part of the competition you can see the workings. It would do weird stuff, like randomly assign seeding, the first year it would work and then the second year the top 4 teams would just be put in the first round. I actually invented this method independently at first, but my method didn't work for some reason. It was only after reading @Palman's thread that I realised what I was doing wrong and had the confidence to put it through. I think making a hidden stage stops them thinking they qualified, but not sure. I even considered making a dummy 1-rated competition for 3rd place teams to qualify them, but thought that might break something... Domestic tables don't show qualification and I considered qualifying through individual leagues, but it would be impossible to verify and, again, it led to janky results when I tried it.
  14. Same as real life - Winner, runner up, and third place of the Caribbean Cup go into the NACL champions League
  15. Not sure to be fair, I remade every NACL-based competition, but forgot they were involved in that
  16. Leagues don't have to be active, as it doesn't actually get qualified teams, I have set up 3 hidden stages pulling 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from each Caribbean league. Thanks for the spot about semi-finals, if I had spotted that before it would have cut a day off of my frustration, update will be in V1.4
  17. Sigh, It is indeed possible. I'll add them, apologies
  18. I did! sigh. Also Guadeloupe needs verifying. V1.1 has the Guadeloupe file, V1.2 will have the Cayman Islands file @Liffa @howabe
  19. @LeB8 @WhiteCat33 I've finally got my first version out. All leagues are accurate as I can make them with realistic finances. I have aimed to make this appropriate for use in the Youth Academy Challenge as I did last year
  20. Version history V1 - initial release 1st December 2023 V1.1 - fix Guadeloupe verification 1/12 v1.2 - forgot Cayman Islands! 1/12 v1.3 - Forgot Puerto Rico! thanks to @themodelcitizen for a bug fix in the shield V1.4 - Reworked Barbados now has accurate league structure and 4 divisions (Premier down to D3). Cuba home player restrictions made reasonable. Haiti fixed (D2 wasn't working, was broken). 5/`1 v1.4.1 - Fix to Bajan Republic Cup - wasn't sorting right, couldn't fix the lack of Q's for group winners v1.5 - Ligue des Antilles with dynamic decisions (i.e. if you improve Saint-Martin's standard in the world you'll get two slots instead of just one) 5/12 v1.5.1 - points now correct for French Antilles, thanks to @howabe 6/12 v1.6 - Anguilla President's cup, transfer window fix for Trinidad (it would give you 4 messages for the start of each one in the leagues, for some reason, no impact on gameplay that I could see). v1.7 - Trinidad transfer window fix, up to date fixture timings so there is no clash with the champs league, semi finals now in play for Caribbean Cup, Trinidad has up to date league with 15 instead of 11 teams in second tier. v2 - big bug fixes. CONCACAF competitions remade into one file, which fixes the qualification of clubs. For example, as a smaller nation you start in the Shield in August, qualify for the Caribbean Cup in September, then play in the Champions League in February of next year. Reputations now seem to change so I maybe fixed that? Barbados updates. v4 - Updated for 2024, long-term stability. Tropico addon. Please let me know if you have issues, consider this a stable Beta version v4.0.1 - deleted extra Trinidad file, added some more logos for Tropico v4.01 Tropico - every club has logos, more names added to Tropico so that players don't get female names generated.
  21. A collection of all 32 Caribbean Nations, their leagues and cups, and club continental competitions. NACL reworked to ensure all qualification goes properly. Caribbean Megapack V4.zip Put all the files in the Zip file into your Editor Data folder (Your name - my documents - sports interactive - editor data). Please don't hesitate to raise issues, hopefully I can fix them! But I have tried my best - have run long-term (10 year) saves to see that finances work, but I likely missed some random things (last year I missed that the Cuban champions skipped half the tournament...) Features; All Caribbean leagues with accurate league formats Caribbean Club Shield added with realistic format. Financials updated from the reported ones this Summer, which is a significant uplift on my estimates before. Dynamic qualification based on league reputation for Caribbean competitions (big shout out to @Palman's thread on this; https://community.sigames.com/forums/topic/389436-dynamic-qualification/) For example, on game start, Trinidad will have 2 teams in the Caribbean Cup and one in the Caribbean Shield, but Montserrat will only get one entrant into the first round of the competition. Player awards for each nation Financials tested for 10 years, there is a balance overall between being profitable and being bankrupt (some Amateur teams accumulate money over time, but if they go semi-pro it disappears). Trinidad has school league and accurate youth competitions - loan your players to the school teams if you can (some weird SI stuff is keeping them mostly grey until a couple years in...) Challenges; Cibao tend to be dominant in the Dominican Republic, can you knock them off their perch? Can you do better than @WhiteCat33? He took a Bajan lower league team to the final of the NACL with nothing but youth regens. With the new dynamic Caribbean competitions and increased prize funds, you may be able to do one or two better. Jamaica tend to dominate the Caribbean Cup, can you take one of the non-big 4 through? Problems that still remain; Cuban player/coach awards don't seem to award reliably Fun fixes and events picked up from long-term testing; Brazilian regens flooding the region if enabled One club in Bonaire entirely bought an entire team of Argentinians after hiring an Argentinian manager and then won the Caribbean Club Shield and Caribbean Cup. Jamaicans flooding a number of countries due to enabling their leagues, as clubs there produce a lot of middle talent that other nations want. Bermuda and British Virgin Island importing en-mass the cast-offs of Vanorama North/South Canada mass-emigrating to Guadeloupe (I accidentally made them) Martinican club bought by Qatari consortium, who promptly buy Argentinians Richmond Hill United (SVG) with players exclusively from Brazil and England. Pictures; Caribbean Cup Zone below, note Martinique has overtaken the Dominican Republic and taken their two places. Flamingo had a team of Argentinians at this point (fixed after) Caribbean Shield second group stage (Cibao lost to Hoppers on penalties, if you're wondering, who then lost to Flamingo) First group stage of the Shield below, note the third place entrants from Jamaica and Trinidad, Haiti's third place team lost to Flamingo in the first round (who went from 1st round to win the Caribbean shield and Cup this year), Guyana's also fell at the first hurdle to Bath Estate of Dominica, Martinique and Dominican Republic's 3rd place teams failed to qualify from their group here. Proof qualification is dynamic (I raised Antigua's division reputation and in 2024 they got two automatic places in the later stages instead of Haiti) Bonus file; Tropico Tropico addon.zip El Presidente! What a genius idea! Avoiding the bureaucracy and demands of joining the EU by supplanting Saint Pierre and Miquelon! As a bonus, all our citizens will automatically qualify for French citizenship! To maintain the illusion, we'll need to actually care about football - 5-a-side in a 40,000 seater stadium might cause the EU to be suspicious after all. I have taken the liberty of drafting up a football league for you, to save time. I have strongly suggested to our "friends" they should follow suit and set up their own clubs, and some of the locals have even set up their own clubs! The Premier Division is of course where you shall be, El Presidente, but we have a second division split up by the regions of our glorious nation. Rest assured, I have diverted a considerable amount from our national accounts to support teams in the top flight! Premier Division in 2032; In this world, Jorge fled transferred with El Presidente's blessings to Trinidad. He isn't as fast as he used to be and his injury proneness has been an issue! Club Logos 4th wall - I made this file in 2018 or something as I enjoyed the game, decided to update it this year and thought some might enjoy it (U20's have now been banned from being promoted!). The islands are based on the mostly uninhabited islands north of Venezuela - I am convinced some of the islands in the Tropico series are based on these islands given their shapes. Isla de Tortuga is the "main" island with the Palatial district near where the Hotel Chelonia Eco Village is. The town names come from Tropico 1 - I really miss when it would make town names for you when you built up a little area. The clubs are based on the factions and key events/missions, with some generic ones in case you wanted to build your own legend. I had DALLE make some logos and went a bit overboard. Credits - Flag - from Wikimedia, Panthers logo - from Kalypso Media Twitter, Defence Force and Police Flags - from Tropico wiki. League logo - created using DALLE to update the flag found on the stadiums in Tropico 3. Club Logos are from DALLE, which has produced amazing stuff. I modified the config files from the TCM cut out logo pack. FM23 thread;
  22. They changed their kits since 2016 I believe, you can check if I'm 100% on the colour - if in the editor they have a full set of kit I found all the info needed. If they only have a shirt, I only found the club colour (e.g. the French Football Federation just states team colours and I couldn't find a picture online). Edit: Looks like the club's reported colours at the time I created them were Blue and white, but no kit found... interesting!
  23. Unfortunately the Barabados FA's website, which had lists of players, team info, and the like, is now down... Here's a photo from the BFA's FAcebook from 2016 though! They were bigger many years ago; https://www.facebook.com/BarbadosFA/photos/a.198254776855082/1347763111904237/
