Played 1.5 seasons of FM23 so far with MUFC. Waiting for BETA before playing any more as I've learned enough about the new version to satisfy my itch. Performances by Martinez have been underwhelming compared to what I was expecting. Maguire very much better as CB in comparison - much greater consistency and ability for that position. Martinez could do with a boost. Eriksen, great stats and perfect for the team tactic I was running. But his consistency is also lacking and not worthy of a 'Important Player' status. The entire MUFC team requires a much needed refresh from a stats/performance perspective. The board is more accurate this season though. Claims to "love the club", but not willing to invest in anything. Hoping my new save won't require much in order to see new and improved owners come on board.

The Press Conferences are too long at times. They can have an effect. Sometimes the Assistant Manager can say the wrong thing which can affect moral of team/players. I tend to get labelled with the 100% attendance to press conferences. It does need a reboot for sure.

On my BETA save, I was asking it to recommend players who were young, 21 and under. Issue with it was related to the "close alternatives", with results bringing up players over 30. Up to 24 years of age (25 at a stretch) and I can understand why the scouts might suggest them, but not over 30. This was with Manchester United and good quality of scouts.

45, played this game since CM1. I am old school and proud of it too. My father in law is 76, still plays computer games and has done the whole 20+ years I've known him. I'll carry on playing games until I'm unable to do so.

All depends on what content is released. Happy with this version and will keep with it if no major changes involved. No Covid to complain about now.
