Winski
Can the season please stop now? A 4th place in our first season (2022/2023) in 2. Bundesliga would be fantastic!! I don't want promotion to the Bundesliga this soon, as our squad really lacks quality for that level. So a 4th place would be perfect. Falcao and Theisen are fantastic players for us. Financially things aren't going that good, but at the end of the season we will get lots of millions. So hopefully our financial problems are over then.

Padders
Season 73 - 2093/94 I've been away for two weeks so not played since mid July. Before I left, another takeover had me on the brink of getting sacked! Luckily the board didn't replace me But we had another poor season Back into League 1 and had a good start and was top in December then the losing ran started in December, with ONE win in TEN! 8th place finish Really poor intake Board increase Youth Level without asking, so will be level 2 by end of season The only positive was the 59 goals by Lewis Copeland
Popular Post libbyshuss
2036/37 - Season 16 League 2 - 24th Season Summary Well, this could be a complete disaster or a blessing in disguise. I'm not sure which one yet! League - Really odd one. We started with a draw, a defeat and then an emphatic 3-0 victory over franchise FC. I was feeling confident. Then Reece Andrews 30G broke his leg and the board sold Craig Mckenzie 35A out from under me. Just like that, the two best players were taken away from us. Then we had the worst run of injuries and suspesions i think i've ever had. I was struggling to put out a team at times and when I did it was full of 16 year olds. The issue was the expereinced players weren't good enough, the younger players weren't experienced enough. Weirdly, I never felt we were ever out of our depth and we were always fighting right up to the last day. We'd play well and lose 3-2. I think we were only well beaten 3 or 4 times out of the whole season. I always went into a game thinking we could get a result and usually on these runs that lead to relegation it feels the opposite. In the end, it was a draw on the last game of the season that did it. Back to non-league we go..... Cup - So this is where we really did get our butts handed to us! Round 1, home to Millwall, 22nd in League 1. They hamered us 6-1. Players Well, where to start? Losing Mckenzie 35A was a huge problem, he was by far the best player. It meant I had to promote Agyemang 36A far earlier than I'd have liked to. He played up front the whole season at 16, and scored 29 goals from 37 games, which is pretty good for a 16 year old in a team that finished bottom of the league. First choice XI Owens and Boardman were a huge disappointment. League 2 clearly a step too far for them. Buchanan 35E looks like a really good prospect though. Youth Another really nice youth preview and another golden generation! As good as that preview was the actual intake still took me by surprise, because it was even better! It looks like it could be a crazy good intake. Lots of real potential there, i'm very excited! Balde looks the best by far. I have feeling he'll be straight into the first team come the new season Finances and Upgrades So..... maybe the board had a point selling McKenzie. Having the youth set up I have is not cheap at this level and we were haemorrahging money every month. The new stadium upgrades weren't cheap either, nor the professional status. It all added up sadly! The deal for McKenzie wasn't that bad really tbh Looking at our projection for the next couple of seasons I think there may be more sales coming as well. Ah, what can you do? Career So next season, for the first time in this save, the pressure is on. If I'm going to justify the facilities I have and keep the players I have, I need to get promotion. Let's see!
toshimitzou1
For thos eof you that have been following my progress, you may be familiar with my deployment of a Wide Target Man. I have been pleased to-date with my current protege, whom has been punching above his weight as an inferior player in the Greek top division: How about this for a youth prospect!!!: I've put a 3 year extension into a 3 year Full -Time contract. If he fulfils his potential things could really improve. Also, take a look at the the coach report: 1 For me this is massive; in the past 3 youth intakes, all of my most promising players have been described as inconsistent or worse. Fingers crossed!!
Popular Post XaW
Folkestone Invicta - Season 2028/29 (Season 8) Review - Vanarama National League (5th tier) Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances Well, this was a bit of a surprise! Promotion into the Football League as the winner! That was not what I had expected before the season started, I'd be more than happy to finish around the upper mid-table, or even avoiding relegation would be a decent season. But somehow everything clicked for us. Well, I say everything, we still conceded a ton of goals, but we scored even more! So many of our matches were goals galore, and I decided to just let it happen. The two prolific goalscorers, Ryan Doyle 23f and Franck Koné 24e, continued the trend and scored even more this season. With a game left the league title was in place, and I got another nice message, the board asked me if I wanted the club to go professional! Of course, I agreed, and it's happening during the off-season. I have feeling we might get relegated back next season, but at least we are professional, so it's a step forward at any rate. In the FA Cup we beat Wealdstone before losing to Yeovil Town in the 1st round. In the FA Trophy we beat Havant & Waterlooville, Truro City, Stockport County, Darlington, Dulwich Hamlet, and finally Newport County in the final to clinch our first ever cup title! Off the field, other than going professional after the promotion was in place, we didn't have much change. Due to the lack of money in the coffers, there's not much to improve upon. Youth Not the best intake we've had, but not bad either. Some nice talents in there. Corey Bond 29d is a nice addition, not a first choice, but we have a lack of backup central midfielders, so he fits nicely in that position for now. U18 team: They didn't play in any league system. In the FA Youth Cup they beat Hereford, Boreham Wood, Havent & Waterlooville, Aldershot, and Plymouth before losing to Arsenal in the 4th round. Statistics: Spoiler Yet more locals, but also a Slovakian player to add to the list. ATW
2021/22 Season Review So... what can I say except... We are staying up, I say, we are staying up!!! The Campaign Wow, that was tough. Hopefully, they will find their feet now, and we can go on to do better next season. Surprisingly, the win that kept us up... a 4-3 home win to the Champions Fylde - thanks to an 88th minute strike. As for the Cup - yeah, nothing to go and write about, being knocked out of both the FA Cup and FA Trophy almost instantly. Youth Intake A Decent international breed. From UK, Greece, Sierra Leone, the Caribbean, to Australia and back. Lee Sharpe (22a), Welsh Goalkeeper - The boy has a real shot as being number 1 next season, but the very least will battle it out with the two other keepers in the squad. Chris Darby (22b), English full back - This boy can play both left or right back, and could possibly battle for a place on the bench and a bit part going forward. Being right-footed only is questionable though Adam Marrow (22c), English forward - The young forward can play across either win as well as up front. Could come in and be solid from almost the very start Mohamed Brown (22d), Australia Utility man - Youngster can play central in all three phases of the outfield. Could be a decent utility player going forward Transfers

toshimitzou1
This was by far my least enjoyable season. After winning our first game, injuries hit my First Choice Wide Target Man, Midfield Playmaker and Anchor Man ruling them all out for a minimum of 4 weeks. By the time they h ad return ed to the fold, we had lost six of our first eight games and were deep in the mire. We did turn things around, finding ourselves comfortably above the relegation places, but it has alerted me to a serious lack of depth throughout the club. One or two long-term injuries and we could be sucked straight back down to the Superleague 2. From the board's position, this is fine - they realistically have only ever expected me to fight bravely against relegation and as such are delighted with me on the pitch. However, no clubs are interested in my high value players, leaving no opportunity in 6 years to improve either youth or training facilities. We are in serious debt and are at risk of flatlining rather than progressing. Arrrghh.

We started well but then hit a terrible run which saw us slide down the table to hover just above relegation places. Our defence was not great as usual but what was really killing us is the lack of scoring - not many chances, and the ever reliable Diomande kept on hitting blanks. What saved us in the end was a 3-month injury to Diomande 02a which saw me push last years intake star David Rodriguez 07a into the starting line-up, and his pace - alongside some minor tactical tweaks - made a lot of difference with the youngster scoring 10 and assisting 7 in 20(9) apps, while also getting better with every game. We stabilised our poor run with a few draws and then won 5 in a row which saw us steer clear of relegation with 4 games left, and allowed me to play the youngsters in those final games, which resulted in 4 straight defeats but still saw us finish a respectable 13th. Players: Our keeper Goikoetxea was the most consistent as usual, but a breakthrough season from Rodriguez 07a and some great attacking midfield performances from Pascual 01d was what made sure we stayed up this season. Bibao 04c probably remains our most indispensable player, as he is still our only good defender. Youth watch: Apart from Rodriguez 07a, Mikel Franco 07c managed to break into the first team towards the end of the season and has developed well, but the other young defenders are all stagnating. Facilities / Finances: I maxed out recruitment, and now we are at a level where we’re just about breaking even so no more upgrades for now. Youth intake: The preview promised plenty of talent, and plenty of fullbacks - a position where I am desperately lacking - and the intake actually delivered! I think Mateo 08a (DRL) and Seguin 08b (DR) could be our starting fullback pair for some time to come if they stay at the club, and there’s plenty of other talents too - though unfortunately the £1.4k p/w minimum wage limit meant that I couldn’t sign too many. Intake 04 review The top two full-back prospects didn’t quite live up to the hype, but Alejandro Bilbao 04c was a very important addition, being our best defender by far, and the one player who seems to be consistently wanted by other clubs. Transfers: not much, just tried to sell off some players who were on the high minimum wage and not developing Season | League | Pos. | Europe | Best player | Notes --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2021/22 | Segunda B Grupo II | 9 | n/a | Juanma Iparragirre (MC) | 2022/23 | Segunda B Grupo II | 14 | n/a | Lander Goikoetxea (GK) | 2023/24 | Segunda B Grupo II | 3 | n/a | Lander Goikoetxea (GK) | Lost in playoff semi final 2024/25 | Segunda B Grupo II | 5 | n/a | Syndou Diomande 02a (AMC/ST) | 2025/26 | Segunda B Grupo II | 1 | n/a | Syndou Diomande 02a (AMC/ST) | Promoted through the playoffs! 2026/27 | Primera RFEF Gupo I | 1 | n/a | Alejandro Bilbao 04c (DC) | Promoted 2027/28 | La Liga 2 | 8 | n/a | Lander Goikoetxea (GK) | 2028/29 | La Liga 2 | 13 | n/a | Lander Goikoetxea (GK) | Facilities ---------- Season | Coaching | Recruitment | Training Fac. | Youth Fac. | Stadium ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2021/22 | Average | Fairly basic | Adequate | Adequate | 3000 2022/23 | Average | Fairly basic | Adequate | Adequate | 3000 2023/24 | Average | Fairly basic | Adequate | Adequate | 3000 2024/25 | Average | Fairly basic | Below average | Adequate | 3000 2025/26 | Average | Fairly basic | Below average | Adequate | 3000 2026/27 | Average | Fairly basic | Below average | Adequate | 3000 2027/28 | Excellent | Good | Below average | Adequate | 3000 2028/29 | Excellent | Exceptional | Adequate | Average | 3000 btw what did you do about the affiliate link with Athletic Bilbao, it has a line in there that says "The terms of this deal prevent Durango from playing in the same division as Athletic Bilbao" meaning that you can't get promoted to LaLiga... the_hdk
Polonia Warsaw - Season 6 League League Stats / Transfers / Best 11 Our best season so far, If looking at points gathered. 9 mire than last year when we became champions...but not enough. Legia was leading nearly the whole seaosn so they are the deserved winner. Sadly they are our biggest rival. Their 16th Championship. We did well considering we lost our star player WYSZKOWSKI for 2,1mln to Villarreal. Good amount of money still. The club favorite made 125 league appearances and 92 goals. He will be missed. Altough his replacement, GORSKI had a pretty decent year for a rookie. 14 goals and 7,09 averege. Our former #1 GK ROJSKI was sold to Albacete as we have our wonderkid LUSIUSZ in goal. Amazing season for the 17 year old. He is still at 4,5 stars but everyone else seems to be losing stars. Inter is already interested, I have a min fee of 20 mln but only 3 year contract left. Let's hope I can up him a few years longer. HALUCH was again our MVP. I upped his contract to 15k/m and mis min. fee to 2,4mln. (he is now the only player with more than 8k/m). He had a brilliant season with 23 goals, 12 assists and 7,23 average. We also nearly lost STURUA (our only international) as Widzew Lodz offered his min. fee of 1,8mln but he didnt want to join them thankfully. Except GORSKI, MILEWSKI continued where he left last year and grew to 3,5 stars. LEWINSKI is the otehr ookie this year. He did well but seems to have stopped improving, so could be i will need to sell him as few youngsters are improving quite well. Cup was again horrible loss in first round. We also lost the SuperCup final. Very bad result, I blame myself as my team was just not ready, I should have started earlier with friendlies. Europe was interesting. We started in Champions LEague qualies. We destroyed Flora (EST) 4-0 and 6-0, just to draft Rangers (SCO). We sadly lost hard 0-4 at home to play 2-2 away. After that we continued in Europa League qualies. We again destroyed the first team we played, Glentoran (NIR) 5-0 and 2-3. Only to lose to a team that was really less than us, Brann (NOR) 2-0 and 0-2 and lost on penalties. Thankfully we did get into group phase of Conference again. We finished again 2nd in group behind very strong Hertha Berlin (GER) (who eventually won the cup). We did beat Standard Liege (BEL) and Olimpija (SVE). In 1st Knockout round we beat Maccabi Haifa (ISR) away 1-0, just to lose at home 0-1. Thankfully we did win on penalties. In second round we got absolutley destroyed by Aston Villa (ENG) 1-3 and 2-3. Villa managed to get to the final but lost to Hertha. Overall not bad and we did manage to get some hard neaded cash. Sale of WYSZKOWSKI All the income from Europe and sales of the strikers went into improving our training and youth facilities! Up to Excellent!. Also finally they agree dto up our Youth recruitment to Exceptional. New affilaite, Hungarian ZTE. Also we now have a youth agreement with sudova! Youth Predicted Youth intake What a bad intake! First time also no GG!. We do finally have some foreign youths. Two Lithuanians!. The best and the worst of the bunch. Signed all from Piotrowich up, but I have little hope. BUTKUS does look like a talent, I will need to retrain him to a MC. Love his teamwork adn Work Rate so hopefully he will improve fast. He is quity fast too. Only one youth from Warsaw this year. And finally some foreigners.

So I made the decision to sell them, but I negotiated quite nice deals for us. And the transfer doesn't happen before the end of the season, so I get to keep them as long as I would anyway... This will leave us in a much poorer position though, so I'd much rather keep them if I could.

If you would use him as a SS in AMC (I use that role) then I would be a little put off by the finishing but would rather train his shooting than his various def. attributes. A big squad but is to take advantage of mentoring. Sides like, Joran, Yacine, Giulio and Nathan should move on to make some cash or at least a loan deal. Well same old odds, rock bottom of the table but i guess they think they can beat the school boys. I think you are unable to get into the same league as them, because you are de facto their reserve team. The clause "this link will be severed if the teams play in the same division" is the one that I think you are thinking of. Feel free to try it out, but I genuinely think you might be screwed... Well from what i know from Bilbao, only Athletic and Basconia are the only B teams/ Reserve teams, Durango is an idependent team. But in FM they have a deal that you cant get promoted to La Liga. Damn, I think you guys are right actually, I just checked and I can't cancel the link, and it doesn't say that the link will be terminated, just that I can't play in the same division... Greedy Bilbao hoovering in all the Basque talent! And for all that they haven't even tried to send me a loan or buy any of my players :o All I can say is that this was definitely not the case when I last managed them in FM 2005 Paying the price for not rolling with the times; looks like I may have to start over... Edit: and Bibao even have two proper B teams in the game (Athletic B and C); impressive! Guess this is what you have to do irl if you want to play in La Liga with Basque only players. If you use any defensive individual instructions on your CMs (I use tackle hard and mark tight on all my mid 4) then that would probably be a deal breaker for me and I'd stick him in AMC. If you would use him as a SS in AMC (I use that role) then I would be a little put off by the finishing but would rather train his shooting than his various def. attributes. Just my thoughts... I am playing him as an eleganche at AMC, took both your ideas and thought this is prob the best for him.

the_hdk
question regarding using custom DB. I saw that finally the face pack for Japan is available. and the league all the way to level 7. Sadly level 7 and 6 are (mostly) unplayable as all the players are grey. also there are no promotions as there is no level 8. Levels 1-3 are professional. Level 4 is semi-prof. Level 5-6 amateur. Some teams in level 5 have a few players but not alot. Long story short. Is it possible to use this DB for the challange? if so, would suffice to play with a team that promotes to level 4 (semi-prof)? thanks in advance
Popular Post XaW
Folkestone Invicta - Season 2029/30 (Season 9) Review - Sky Bet League Two (4th tier) Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances This season was very interesting in several different ways. First of all, we somehow won the whole league and got another promotion! No clue how we did it, but we sure did! We actually didn't start that great, as we won a few and lost a few. I was content that we would avoid relegation, but then we went on a bit of a run as we won 9 in a row and suddenly were part of the playoff spots. From then on we just slowly climbed up to be a part of the fight for promotion before eventually winning the whole thing. The biggest problem this season has been fatigue on the key players, and I think that explains a few of the losses. In the FA Cup we beat Crawley Town and Stockport County before we lost to Burnley in the 3rd round. We got haunted by the past, but at least he didn't celebrate his hattrick! In the EFL Cup we beat Exeter City before losing to Watford in the 2nd round. In the EFL Trophy we finished 2nd in our group behind Fulham U23, but ahead of Cambridge United and Swindon Town. Then we beat Wolves U23 and Arsenal U23 before we lost to Sheffield United U23 in the quarter final. The big thing this season was the windfall we got from a sell-on clause, and we've gotten some improvements done to both the youth facilities and the training facilities. The board have also agreed to improve the youth level, so we shall see if that takes effect over the summer. I'm also working on the Continental A licence currently. Youth A decent intake, but I had a bit more hope since it was the first one after we turned professional. I hope the future ones will be better after the improvements to the facilities. Sam Hart 30d is a nice addition to the squad since we need talented defenders. U18 team: They didn't play in any league system. In the FA Youth Cup they beat Aldershot, Cambridge United, Exeter City, and Wolves before losing to MK Dons in the 5th round. Statistics: Spoiler We got our first Asian country in Saudi Arabia this season, so only South America remaining. Trophy cabinet: Sky Bet League Two - 2029/30 Vanarama National League - 2028/29 Vanarama National League South - 2026/27 FA Trophy - 2028/29

Then you can holiday one season and take over the team who finished last in the bottom division. I think that's the rules for those types of lower leagues. @darren1983 will correct me, if I'm wrong.
dkouv
Allright, gonna give this another go - sticking to Spain for now, but now I've set up with a smaller database so that there is more transfer activity and made sure I didn't pick one of the 10 or so of Bilbao's feeder clubs who cannot play in the same division as them ))) I fancied a bit of a change from Northern Spain, just to play in a different regional division if nothing else - and picked up Xerez C.D, a club with an interesting history: apparently one of the first cities playing football in Spain due to Jerez's trade links with the UK, and a club that spent a lot of time in La Liga 2 before a massive fall from grace due to financial troubles. Plus I'm pretty sure I've managed them in FM years ago like Durango, so I'm trying to maintain as much continuity as possible )) We start with a squad that is even more thin than my Durango team, something I didn't think was possible - no strikers at all this time but one absolutely amazing Uruguayan center back, we are almost literally a one man team! So I'll be continuing with my well trusted strikerless formation from the Durango years )) Let's see if we can survive until the first intake.
