Popular Post fries
Vanarama National league North 2022/23 (season 1) Season Summary Much better than expected. My aim was to avoid relegation, however we qualified to promotion play off with a 6th place in the leauge. Unfortunately we lost in our first round in both the FA cup and FA trophy. The play offs did not end very well. I lost the first round 4-0 to York. So no promotion this year. I think I got the most out of my players. So I will probably have to wait a couple of years to gain promotion. But I am a bit disapointed about the number of goals from my topscorer Main. My youth intake was very good with a golden generation preview And it was definitely not disapointing when they arrived Here are my two best, Tierney and King. I think I will use Tierney as a striker and King as a CM: I made of course no transfers. I only let some players go, but only because they were out of contract and transfer listed. Becuase they where transfer listed they would not sign a contract and I could not unlist them, probably because they were out of contract (bug?). Finances and Upgrades I managed to upgrade my junior coaching and youth recruitment in the fall before my intake. And I manage to get two coaching badges and I am working on the national A Licence.
Popular Post DazRTaylor
So here we go. The Spartans. I am not expecting a youth intake in the first year due to the bug in Scotland. Youth Candidates Season 2022/23 The Spartans Much to my surprise, we have a youth intake this year after all. So I guess SI fixed part of the bug. The preview was decent enough: Truth be told, the intake itself is excellent and gives us some much needed depth.

Bartrcm
Racing Mechelen - First Amateur - Season 2026 - 2027 Predicted: 15th (forgot to take a screenshot at the start of the season) Final position: 7th We had a very good and unexpected first season. Until half way we were always in the play-offs, but our second half of the season wasn't as good as our first half so we ended 7th. We were never in danger to get relegated. I think next season will be a bit harder as our main striker doesn't want to sign a new contract. Games 1 Games 2 Cup: Although, I didn't prioritised the cup, we managed to get to the 6th round and a game against a first division team. Unfortunally we hadn't any luck with the draw and had to play against Mouscron, the worst team of the 1th division. We were outplayed and lost 0-4 against a team that could only win 3 games in the competition and got relegated. Transfers: Some players left us they were put on the transferlist before I took over Youth intake: We had a very good preview, and the actual intake didn't disappoint (part 1, part 2) Vasilas Nikolaidis (YP1a): In our preview the ST would be 1 of the worst players in the intake, but he is actually our best player of this intake Jelle Mariën (YP1b): WBL, but will be re-trained as I don't play with wing backs Abdelilah Hajji (YP1c): AML Seppe Van Dijck (YP1d): AMR, MC Lou Segers (YP1e): According our preview he should be our top-prospect Finances: Terrible, over 500k in red Goals for next season: Another season without a relegation battle, and I'm happy. And the only tycoon owned team Patro Eisden won back-to-back promotion to the first division. Edited October 25, 2021 by Bartrcm

Rainbowz
Novara Calcio 2023-24 Youth Intake Preview Well that's...worrying. Despite apparently being a 5 star intake, our best positional grade is a C and nothing else comes close. Hoping it's a classic example of FM intakes being hilariously wrong. Actual Intake Pretty disappointed, not gonna lie. I've worked out that 5* PA is about mid-level Serie B+, so unless my coaches are wrong, we don't have anyone special in our midst. Determinations are really poor as well, kinda annoying that all of the trash players have decent determination and some of the ones I'd otherwise keep are trash. Prospect 1 - Enzo Tribocco Apparently our most promising player, he's not bad I guess? Nothing wows me, but he could probably develop into a solid backup option in a few years. Nice to finally get a right-footed CB though. Prospect 2 - Jacobo Barile 1 det. Awful personality. Ugh, do I even sign this guy? If we can fix him up, he could probably be a solid RWB at this level with his pace and dribbling and we definitely need options there, but damn it's a long road for him. Prospect 3 - Valario Andreoli Probably the best of the three 1*/4* players, Andreoli could possibly become a decent 3rd division striker with a bit of work. I doubt he'll ever be a notable player in this save, but so far, he's my best youth striking option. Manager's Thoughts I was kinda hoping for a star who I could pin our hopes on from this intake, but the preview really tempered my expectations. There are definitely a few players here that could have good careers as backups for us in this division and maybe even Serie B, but I doubt anyone who will bring us long-term glory. I'm really hoping for a star striker to appear within the next couple of years. We're being carried by Vuthaj at the moment and if he gets injured or ends up leaving, the quality of our team drops massively. Gonna sign anyone with 4*+ potential to bolster our future options, but they're all staying in the U20s for now

Popular Post Winski
SV Austria Salzburg I think I found the challenge I was looking for. A memorable club, because SV Austria Salzburg was formed by supporters of the original SV Austria Salzburg, after that club was renamed Red Bull Salzburg by its new owners in 2005. I still remember the matches from Ajax against Casino Salzburg(their official name for quite a long time) in the famous Champions League campaign 1994/1995. SV Austria Salzburg is playing in their original club colours: violet and white. I really like that! They won the Austrian Bundesliga on 3 occasions, before the Redd Bull take-over. Let's make SV Austria Salzburg the biggest club of Austria again! It will be no surprise that we want to knock Red Bull Salzburg off their throne. The facilities are very decent to start with. And we got 26 players at the club in total, so enough players to get me through the first season.

keeper#1
Nantwich Town 2022-23 Season Review - Vanarama National North Fixtures 1, 2, 3, 4: We started on weak outside of the cup run where we were knocked out by Rochdale. Switched to a 4-2-4 and things started to improve. They improved further when I stopped scheduling mid-week friendlies which while they were raising cash, they were causing the squad to be unfit for competitive matches even with squad rotation. League Table: Our excellent second half form saw us zoom up the table and finish in 7th place and the last playoff place. Playoff: As the last team in the playoff, it was no surprise that we were knocked out in the first round. Darlington finished 6th...got hot...earned promotion. xG General Performance: The analysts told me what I already knew. Our defense was bad. Our offense was good. xG Attacking: Above average across the board. xG Defense: Below average across the board. xG Miscellaneous: Finished above our expected finish of 10th. We gain back possession a little too deep to my liking but our midfield gives up a lot of possession. szasinka
Torslanda Idrottsklubb - Sweden - ETTAN Fotboll DIV1 Södra (Tier3) - 2025: season 5 review Intro <FM21 - custom, edited database used> - League - Squad - Finance - Transfers - As I do not deal with transfers now I totally forgot to make screenshot about it. I will make up for it. League: During the preseason I changed our formation to 4-3-3 DM Wide and also slightly altered our tactical approach. It went rather well, we played a good and entertaining football which was also efficient. Lindh and Rudin were our main star players, if they played well we won easily. We won the league comfortably and gained promotion. We lost in second round in the cup. Youth intake: Quite poor. Speaking frankly I expected better with a super HoYD in charge for hefty wage.... only one real prospect who will be first team member. We have a good squad but very thin. If somebody leave us we will be in trouble. We need depth so hopefully more squad player will come through the ranks sooner than later. Eriksson looks good and perfectly fit to our tactic as we deploy Mezzala (A) in the system. Other We have poor financial position but in Superettan we will get prize money that will put us above the water. We gained reputation with promotion and higher ranked teams already started lurking around our star players. I managed to keep them so far and get signed long contracts with extension. I only hope that our chairman won't sell our precious assets above my head. The next season will be our hardest challenge. We need to survive against professional sides. We need overtake one more team than other promoted side (Team TG FF) in order to reach relegation playoff.
Popular Post DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2022/23 The Spartans Season Summary A great season with the league title won, promotion secured to the third tier and two excellent cup runs. Season Details League Table - Once we went top early on, we never relinquished it and stormed to the title and promotion to the third tier. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We were so consistent. We didn't lose a league game until the end of December and we competed in every game. Scottish Cup - A great cup run that was only ended away to top flight Motherwell, as we lost after extra time. Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup - A good run where we made it through to the quarter final before narrowly losing away to Championship side Raith Rovers. Pre Season Friendlies - A disappointing pre season campaign as we lost six of our nine games. Squad - The raw talent is there, they just need to develop. Squad Dynamics - As lovely as you would expect. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - An excellent first intake with Czech attacking midfielder Martin Kubr YP23E5 looking like a terrific prospect. Finances - We have a nice healthy balance as we move forward. I can hopefully use some of this money for the youth academy upgrades. Key Players Blair Henderson - The striker is the best player at the club and had a wonderful season. Kevin Waugh - What a season from the central defender. He had the season of his life. Euan Smith - Usually deployed in central midfield, the veteran was tremendous. Chris Inglis - The central defensive partner of Kevin Waugh, they had almost telepathic understanding. Jordan Moreland - The young teenager played the holding midfield role with such maturity for a seventeen year old. Next Season I just want to survive. Rainbowz
Novara Calcio - 2023-24 Season Review A change of tactics saw us finally click and heavily outperform the board's expectations and make the promotion playoffs! Unfortunately, we don't have nearly enough quality to make a solid promotion push and were eliminated early by the far stronger Cesena. The Team You can see how an 8th place finish was really punching above our weight, this team should be nowhere near there, yet this tactic seems to be working wonders. There's no doubt we're being carried by Vuthaj up front. Transfers Out This one hurts. I knew Di Masi wanted to leave as he's far too good for this level, but no team was interested in paying money for him. Then January rolls around and Genoa immediately become interested and steal him on a free. Was hoping we'd recoup some much-needed money with him, but nope. He leaves a sizable gap in our midfield we can hopefully fill someday. Poached Player Hopefully he doesn't turn out to be a wonderkid or something. Facilities Despite losing money hand over fist, I somehow managed to persuade the board to increase our Junior Coaching this season! We of course than had a really poor youth intake, so nice to see FM never really changes. One to Watch - Andrea Pepe While the development of my other prospects has been a little disappointing, Andrea has come on leaps and bounds in just a year. He's adapted brilliantly to his new role at LWB and it's hard to tell where his ceiling is. Unless we achieve miraculous growth in the next few years, I forsee Pepe being a key member of the squad for a long time. That is until a Serie A club bids £1k for him and unsettles him. Manager's Thoughts We're in for a tough one next season. This year's disappointing youth intake means we don't really have any real standouts to integrate into the first team and with Di Masi leaving, we're weaker than we were last season. If the re-shuffle of the leagues is kind to us, we can definitely get another promotion playoff finish. If not, we're staring down the barrel of a relegation fight. With no reinforcements, I've no choice but to stick by my tactic and hope it sees us through. Popular Post XaW
XaW - Merthyr Town - Season 2023/24 - Vanarama National North Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances It helps having a full squad! Who knew? We had a good season finishing in 10th place. While we were only 4 spots behind the playoff, we were still 20 points off. So we have a long way before we are ready to fight for promotion. But this season was a good improvement upon the first one, and tactically I keep going a bit back and forth. My 4-3-3/4-5-1 hybrid have slowly morphed into a 4-1-4-1, but I still haven't settled for anything yet. I'm still finding it better to play a bit on the front foot rather than hanging back, but it's a work in progress. We did very well defensively this season, as we conceded 13 goals less than the previous. So with us getting in better and better youth players, I think I've found the base for something promising. I did manage to get accepted a coaching license this season, but I'm still working on it. We also got improvements to both the junior coaching and youth recruitment, and I hope that will keep improving the youngsters the next few season. FA Cup: We beat Biggleswade, Kettering Town, and Walthamstow before we lost to Salford in the 1st round.FA Trophy: We beat AFC Dunstable, Slimbridge, Metropolitan Police, and Gloucester City before losing to Woking in the quarter final. Youth intake: We had a really good intake with lots of potential and some players ready for first team action from the start. Jordan Cummings 24d is a really exciting attacking player. Since I'm struggling with strikers, I'm thinking about making him one since his finishing is so extremely good. But he would be amazing as a shadow striker, so perhaps that's something to try out...? Spoiler U23s: They only play friendlies. U19s: Cymru Premier Development League (South): They finished in a very respectable 5th place this season.Welsh Youth Cup: They lost to Gap Connah's Quay in the 1st round. U18s: National U18 League South West: They improved a bit up from last place into 11th place.FA Youth Cup: They beat Potters Bar before they lost to Enfield Town in the 2nd qualifying round.
