Popular Post BustaRaymes
Smethwick Rangers - 2025/26 Northern Premier League Division One Midlands We were close to a championship, being top after 30 games. We dropped off a bit and ended up in the playoffs in mediocre form. Managed to beat Grantham after being overrun for parts of the game, and lost to Ilkeston while being pretty much in control. Our - at best - passable defence proved the issue, not for the first time this season. Squad Ayoola is kind of our defensive leader, although he isn't the best really. But he's reliable, doesn't make too many mistakes and rarely plays a bad game. Rowland was again our most important player and our main man for the forseeable future. Daniels was our top goalscorer this season. Feeney's record is actually better, but he mainly popped up halfway the season scoring loads, only to drop off that high again nearing the end. Transfers Youth intake I was promised a really talented winger, which we really need as our current ones are starting to feel their age. Instead, we got another goalkeeper, another mediocre striker and an AMC, which at least gives us some options tactically. Browne is a decent prospect but I'm not expecting wonder from him. He's in the running to replace Coughlin when he retires though. I assume Wildig is the winger I was promised in the preview. I like his pace but he lacks a lot of other attributes. Oakley is not going to be a star. Although his starting attributes are not that bad, he's not good enough physically to make up for his awful pace. I do like Wignall though. He's pretty decent on the ball and gives us an extra option to deploy a playmaker or extra AMC.

Anners
@BustaRaymes Absolutely love the name Smethwick Rangers. I'm not entirely sure why @WhiteCat33 Just want to give a thanks for the training semi pro players tip you gave. Never thought of only training players as certain roles to improve those attributes but it's making a hell of a difference already!

I am currently playing at Berakaldo's stadium, no plans to build a stadium so far, which is nice. Popular Post Braumiller
Season 06 - 2029/30 FC Biel-Bienne Surprising improvements! Very happy with that, even if we did miss out on big landmarks. We started out selling one of our big starlets, Orlando Kwasie (YP01-Elite). AC Milan made a bid again and this time FC Porto came in too. We accepted both (flat 4.2m from Porto, 5.25m from AC Milan although a good 0.75 to 1.5 were in potentially unobtainable clauses). Orlando chose FC Porto and we had a healthy bank balance again (but not a healthy projection!). We got a Junior Coaching increase in but that was it. On the field we played pretty nicely. We settled in around 5th spot after the first third of the season and stayed there, even though we were anticipating a horrible fall off like last season. It never came and while we did start losing ground we went into the last game of the main phase of the league needing a win to cling onto 6th place and a place in the Championship group. We managed to beat Young Boys and we became 1 of the 6 to fight for potentially 5 European places. As you would expect though, the 6th place team is the weakest and we were also punching above our weight anyway. We finished 6th, missed out on Europe by just 3 points but more importantly we didn't have to worry about a relegation fight! League Table Squad Stats Youth Intake - Nobody to immediately get a look at the senior squad, but 3 Elite tagged kids. Gianluca Gatta - A resolute defensive midfielder. Needs to become physically better, but I fancy his chances the best out of this intake Valerio Di Palma - A right back, which I'll be honest I could currently use some competition at. Too slow for my liking, but hopefully he can mature over a couple of years in the u18s & u19s. Liam Lebrun - To be honest, not horrible. Will have to do well (or a big injury crisis happen) to see any of the senior squad anytime soon, but fingers crossed. Transfers Well, if I can get a couple more stabilizing seasons like this then I think we are going to be in good shape. Financially we are good to go for a couple of seasons with the big sale, and as it stands right now there are no more big clubs interested or players stating they want to leave for greener pastures..... Intakes could do with improving a little to be honest, given our investment into them, but we are seeing a settled first team squad for now and I think seeing the benefits of that.
Popular Post dkouv
Brora Rangers – Season 2 (2025/26) League 1 We started off badly, but switching to a more attacking tactic helped stabilise the team (at the cost of some crazy high-scoring games). We finished a respectable 7th, 9 points above the relegation playoff spot. The 90 goals we conceded during the season are a bit of a worry though. Players Defense is awful but our attackers are saving us, with Andrew Macrae (ST) the star of the show again, scoring almost a goal a game in the higher division. Youth intake (preview) A very good one! Lots of 5* potential, decent CA too, pretty good personalities, and even some defenders! I reckon this should set me up nicely for the next few years. Facilities Managed to upgrade coaching and recruitment again so we are now at a very respectable “good” junior coaching, which showed with this year’s intake. Finances are still fine. No transfers. We absolutely take those. I also pick up another record to join our League One record: Honestly, not quite sure what happened with the bottom 3 - Queen of the South were absolutely awful all season and picked up half of their wins in the last 5 games. Montrose only picked up 9 points since mid-November. I doubt we'll get this lucky next year, so I'm presuming we won't get a third year in the Championship. Youth Intake: A solid striker in John Mackay, with a couple of others being good squad depth again. Finances: To expand a little on a post I made earlier, my youth setup costs have increased dramatically and I do not know why. We've had no change in status, no reputation boost. This is the expenditure I've got from the year gone and the huge outlay in the first 3 months of the season: The white bar being the youth setup - I don't know if it's an extra cost for being in a top 2 league or something, but whatever it is it's causing some pretty severe financial issues now. Previous Post: 2037/38 Season Report Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Scottish Championship League: Not entirely sure how I ended up here. Was about 12-15 points off Hamilton with about 10 games left I think? I've always tended to have very strong end of seasons, usually directly after the intake. I'm presuming that's connected! Into the playoffs we go: 95th minute goal relegates us! I'd have been incredibly shocked if we managed to keep ourselves in the Championship, so I'm not too disappointed to still get relegated. Youth Intake: Gavin Laird (GK) immediately goes in as our number 1. Laurie Andrews (DC) goes not quite straight in as centre back, but will very quickly get that position most likely. Daniel Calder (MC) will probably go into the first team quite easily as we've got a weakness in the centre of midfield. Solomon Frimpong (AML) will actually go in as our first choice striker most likely, as I'm surprised his best position is classed as AML here. Probably the most fruitful intake we've had for a long time! As much as the financial situation looks bad (thanking you Youth Setup costs....), we actually got a takeover (only a promotion from within), so the finances look better, but now it's consolidated into loans so a lot healthier.

Popular Post seatdean
AYSA - Season 4 (2027) * Season Overview: This season will be remembered as the birth of a new giant in Zimbabwe, we won the local treble (premier league, national cup and super cup). With much of the team entering their second season together, cohesion was at its peak and it was a delight to watch these youth players play. Our debut in the Champions League was the only disappointment of the year, as we lost in the first round against Abia Warriors (Nigeria). * Youth Intake: This season produced a good intake with a great midfielder, and some decent guys for the rotation. * Squad: Spoiler * Transfers: Spoiler
Popular Post Brentmeister
Season 4 Summary Relegation With pre-season odds of 1000/1, we knew we were in for a tough campaign. To make matters worse, we had 17 days to prepare after the players returned from holiday. What kind of pre-season is that? We were in the bottom 4 for most of the season as we struggled to score. Our xg actually had us clear of the relegation group which is encouraging if we can find a striker or 2 by the time we're back. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Youth Intake An excellent preview with lots of A's in several positions The Intake was very good with 8 elite talents. Young French CB Mounji, looks like a decent prospect in a position we've struggled with. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Other Stuff No transfers Our training facilities were downgraded and any upgrades I'm asking for are getting rejected The board gave me a generous transfer budget of minus 800k so no doubt they'll sell some good players for peanuts Next season we need an immediate return or the save may come to an end _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Brentmeister
23 hours ago, Virtual Male said: Season 12 2035/36 Manager Profile - Competitions - Finances - Facilities So, I'm going to start this update with something I'd usually put at the end but if you guys are anything like me I'd end up just glossing over a paragraph of text at the end of a post without much reading actually taking place. I'm finding this save quite hard to stay invested in at the moment and I feel silly for even saying that because it's for completely the opposite reasons people usually drift away from these saves, I'm struggling because there hasn't been any real challenge since my relegation from the VNL. Since then I've been promoted every year all the way into the Premier League now and it just doesn't feel right but I can't sandbag can I? I've a feeling that the shape and tactic I've been developing over the last 4/5 seasons is breaking the match engine in some way and players are vastly outperforming their abilities, I mean Frankie Thomas shouldn't be anywhere near a game in the Championship unless he's paid for a ticket but here he is with a fairly respectable average rating from 14 games this year . He's a VNN player on a good day right? Anyway the point of all of this is just to say that this might be the last update for a little while until I'm feeling this save again.... I just miss the pain I think Competitions Sky Bet Championship (Past Positions) - I don't understand what's happening anymore, 2nd place in our first season in the Championship means five successive promotions now. 78 points only just scrapes the play-offs in almost every season in this save until this year but here we are heading off into the Premier League, I really don't know how this has come to be. The Emirates FA Cup - 90 minutes of the Fa Cup this year, 4-1 loss to Newcastle. Carabao Cup - Continued to not care about the Carabao Cup in the slightest exiting in the group stage again. Squad We're very top heavy now, we've got a Premier League quality attack and a defence that's League 2 on a good day. Luckily there's some potential at the back coming through but it's felt like that's been the case for a number of seasons now and I'm still playing the same guys because of a lack of development. Robert Jones became our first official Wonderkid this year and made his Wales debut! He's got a couple of years left on his contract but I doubt I'll get to keep him until the end of it and will probably be forced into a sale before then, Sam Haggett had another solid season up top bagging himself 17 league goals on our way to automatic promotion. I'm hoping he can manage to hit double figures next season, we'll need it if we have any hope of survival. Youth Intake (Preview) - Probably one of the best previews we've had in a few years and it left me a little disappointed when the youth intake came around. Now, I'm not saying it's a bad intake, it isn't. Just I got my hopes up and wanted more. Richard Lloyd is apparently the main man from this years intake, he's coming through in a position that I need some more players in due to a sale so he'll be in and around the first team at some point in the near future. I'm much more interested in Lim Yong-Jae though, a big Korean center back who's got a little bit of potential is everything I could have asked for really, he's going to be training with the first team with the hope that he can make his mark before too long. Transfers & Finances - A couple of big sales this year. Llion Davies kicked up a massive fuss in the new year and it was spilling over to the rest of the team so a deal with Portsmouth worth up to £10m saw him heading to the south coast. Mike Cox-Davies was much less planned out but LAFC threw £18.5m upfront with another £1.5m in clauses that will be met and I really couldn't turn that money down. All of that left the finances in a good place with about £7m in the bank but with the Premier League money coming in next season we should be pretty set from now on unless something goes horribly wrong. Other - The board we're very co-operative this year again allowing the training facilities to be upgraded twice and the youth facilities to be upgraded twice too! We moved up a youth category too, we're category 2 now. I got my final coaching badge too. The stadium needed some love with the promotion so we're getting undersoil heating fitted and a few thousand seats put in. Bingo Card - A handful of things got marked off this season so we're up to 29/100. I'd be interested in seeing this game-breaking wonder tactic! Welsh Cup Spoiler First Round Exit to a lower division side. I pulled some players off at halftime to give them rest up 2-0 and we paid for it. Nathaniel MG Cup Spoiler A Nice progression to the Quarterfinals by beating 3 teams from our level. And after going 4-0 down to TNS we at least made it respectable against the powerhouse team before bowing out of the competition. JD Cymru League Tier 2 League Cup Spoiler Made it to the 3rd Round (which is the Quarterfinals) and fought back from 3-0 down to send it to penalties, we were even up a goal in the Penalty shootout before the magic died and we exited this cup. Best 11 Spoiler Starters Henry Benjamin - Giancarlo Gabbiadini - Ryan Hudson Adam Matthews 25a - Tommy Larsen 24b Josh Gidney Kieran Miller - Chris Parry - Stefan Jenkins - Kane Jellyman Mike Jones Bench Tucker - Clayton - Tinsley - Jones-Evans - Cullimore - Broadribb - Paton 24c I went with the 3 striker formation because of the strengths of the team at Striker, likewise with the narrow formation due to deficiency on the wings. Definitely most weak in Defense, and our best DM was out injured for the first 6 months of the season, which meant we played Gidney who wasn't great. A lot of the players on the bench are retiring at the end of the year, Cullimore, Parry, and Tucker. Jones-Evans left midseason. Tagged Players Updates Spoiler Probably our most consistent performer on the season, did everything I could of asked for out of a Box to Box and just did a solid job. Not the best season he could've had, but he progressed well and trained well and should continue to get ample playing time going forward Progressed well in training even if he did not see the field that often. Youth Intake Spoiler A good solid intake that gives needed depth to our squad especially with a lot of our depth retiring or leaving after this season or not being of any quality at all. Already has scored a goal for us in the season finale. May not immediately be a first team striker but should make his way into that spot in short order. Already got an assist for us in the season finale. Immediately our 2nd choice Left Back with opportunity to move up from there. Another Striker prospect who I think could end up in the rotation next year See above, unfortunately with a poor personality that will need to be worked on and some concerning player traits if I'm reading correctly. We're not currently playing with wide players but the acceleration and pace could be useful if we switch to that and I may start training to work on new positions with this one. Similar to above but possibly training to be another option at Striker since he's already competent there Immediately my 2nd choice keeper. Part of the midfield rotation instantly and BWM is one of my preferred roles in the midfield May be immediately put in at CB as my 2nd choice last year is retiring to Amateur football (his words). Another striker option in this class More CB depth that was sorely needed Best RB in this intake makes him my instant 2nd choice behind Jellyman More CB depth

Popular Post Daddy
I know there are money issues with Belgium but I had the urge to try there, so we'll see how long it lasts. Not much is expected from the team, and it's a pretty thin roster. Since I don't have high hopes for the longevity of this save I decided to be a bit more experimental with the tactics. There are no good strikers in the squad, and the best player top position is shadow striker. I took the opportunity to go strikerless and asymmetrical. It's still a work in process, but about a third through the season and I'm mid-table.

I think he'll be a new starting DR even though he's only 3rd best in rotation Lower half of table was holding really close the whole season and until the last game we weren't sure if we'll stay in Div1. We won playoffs again so lot of emotions and a little cash bonus. And if we talk about money, a nice feature in Swedish cup where bigger club can pay you to host a game for better match income. Additionally, both Weymouth Wales and Notre Dame are in the process of building 6-8k capacity stadiums, which will finally get them the gate receipts required to begin upgrading facilities and then will be able to actually develop young talent. Even with extreme rotation in the league this year (as it happens simultaneously with the NACL knockouts) we only had a couple of draws. Weirdly in Barbados the league doesn't really matter, as the Cup qualifies you for the NACL, so these matches are where I play youngsters most often. Spoiler Cup Performance: No international windows to mess with our success. Spoiler North American Champions League: Caribbean Zone: We were dominant again this year in the Group Phase Caribbean Playoff: A comprehensive 3-0 2-Leg Victory over Humble Lion NACL 2nd Round For the first time in the save we face off against a MLS side in the NACL! I play at least 1-2 friendlies in the summer against MLS sides and we tend to win, so there is a lot of optimism heading into this tie: Spoiler 1st Leg: Away at Yankee Stadium A game that lacked quality chances, we utilized a deflective ball off their CB Perez to get an early goal. We then did a good job controlling the match until the final minutes where a very lucky offsides kept us with the valuable away victory. 2nd Leg: Home at Road View Stadium Pushing almost to our new 20k occupancy a packed stadium watched our comprehensive dispatching of NYCFC. This game saw a brace by our AMR-IW D Lloyd who lacks skill, but makes up for it with 15/16 across all the pace attributes and solid mentals to be in the right place and the right time. NACL Quarter Final Then, in another miracle of draw we get another non-Mexican side in Costa Rican powerhouse Club Deportivo Saprissa. They usually do well in North American saves, but are at another level in my universe as Costa Rica has been loaded as playable all save. Spoiler First leg is home, and we got the early goal so had to defend the lead most the game. They found an equalizer midway through the second half, but our impact AMR sub Clark used his late game energy in the 90’ to find us the winning goal! Now we have to hold our lead in the massive 52k seater stadium in Costa Rica 2nd Leg in Costa Rica started with a negative note of Nurse having to come off injured and them finding an equalizer right after. Then my substitute PF Clark is doing his job challenging the ball in the box and he gets taken down by the CB. VAR check and…PENALTY! He gets to take the penalty he earned and he converts! We are back ahead on Aggregate! 2nd half begins with a kickoff goal for Saripasa. Now its fully level, can we regain the upper hand without our striker? 83’ they hit a long ball over the top to an unmarked striker who finishes us off. OR SO I THOUGHT! 85’ my WB-R and dead-ball specialist R Hoyte who has struggled all game steps up to a Direct FK just outside the penalty and he places it upper 90 to bring us back level on Aggregate! We advance on away goals having survived this 5 goal thriller of a match that was neck and neck the whole way, with the exception of they are a crazy dirty team with 21 fouls against us and somehow no yellow cards. Nurse injury isn’t great, but could be worse. It’s questionable if he will be available for the first fixture of the Semi-Final in mid April, but he should be fully fit for the second leg. This is a huge loss for us as we have our 3rd striker out injured as well, so we will be much less lethal offensively in the semi-final. NACL Semi-Final Our first Semi-Final, and its against last year’s runner up, but that’s to be expected in a semi-final! Spoiler Semi Final 1st Leg: 8 minutes in we have a great team goal that sees our WB-R Hoyte find our AML Croney making the run to the far post with an easy tap-in to give us an early advantage at home. Unfortunately, we don’t have any good chances in the rest of the first half. Second half doesn’t begin in our favor when our GK Atkins misses a punch on a corner kick and their back post player gets a free tap-in. And then in the 75’ they make it 2. We really struggle to make any kind of opportunity in the second half even though we have decent possession. Having to take off Nurse and my other wide striker due to fitness issues really shows. But it isn’t all naught, right at the death their defense shoves my young 5th choice 16-year-old striker and gives us a penalty in the 95’. R Hoyte who has had a great game (7.5 rating) having provided our assist at the start of the game walks to the spot and slots it bottom corner! 2-2, we are still in this!! Semi Final 2nd Leg: We have to win, or it has to be another 2-2 draw for us to advance, while unlikely we still have a chance. I must give great team talks to start the match because again it is a play up the right flank at the 9’ mark with this time being our quick AMR Lloyd getting fully behind then dumping the ball back to the star of the tie R Hoyte who passes the ball into the far bottom corner to give us yet another early lead! Sadly we can’t hold it as in the 44’ a wild header from the edge of the box catches my keeper ball watching and they score an equalizer to head into halftime. Can we find a second goal after the break? Unfortunately it wasn’t to be as we were soundly dominated and we lose on Away goals. They really did a great job of marking out my star striker Nurse who had no impact in either game. Coming off the injury didn’t help things for him. NACL Final Did we make it? Spoiler Nope NACL Tournament Tree: Spoiler Looks as if Monterrey are still a step above the rest and would have put us to the sword had we edged out Toluca. Squad: CA Player List Spoiler Decided to unhide all the columns this year to show the Role Ratings. Our star players are into the low 60's now on RR meaning they are averaging ~12/20 on all highlighted attributes for their role. Excel Graphs Spoiler I am currently in a transition period where I am moving on a number of older (28+) Resolute squad players to make room for the number of 16-18 year olds with lesser personalities to begin developing and grow into their own. This is why you see a massive drop (17 - 9) Prof+Det (15+). What you can see is the beginning of a possible rise in Amb+Det (15+) as a couple of my players have turned Driven, and hopefully that can translate into new Perfectionist players as that is my target personality right now. Determination is flat, but we are slowly inching our way to a Starting XI over 100 CA, which is the threshold I think is required to have a legitimate chance at success in the NACL. Best trend IMO is the Top-5 CA Avg is still slowly increasing, even if its a very low gain. Transfers: Moved on 3 squad players this year, all with large %Profit clauses, as there is a tendency for BDFSP to bring back Barbadian players due to the strict foreign player rules (Max 5) in the League fixtures. Spoiler Best XI: FM Screenshots: Spoiler Excel Tables: Spoiler Head Coach: Nothing new for us, but we hired our old GK as the Reserve Head coach. He isn't very good, but is Professional w/ high det and WwY as well as I like bringing back key players. Spoiler Club Improvements: Big news this year - you can now buy Road View Stock! After 12+ years of failed takeovers, we finally had a successful one for 20 Million Dollars, by a Barbadian High Net worth person who decided to consolidate our debt and float the club on a Stock Exchange. The debt is actually notable, as we have used lots of debt to build our stadium so refinancing was in order. Unfortunately, there is still no option to improve youth facilities or to get a foreign affiliate. I have a feeling that neither will come to fruition... Spoiler Youth Academy: HOYD: Youth Intake Preview: You know you’re in a tiny nation when you get excited with a bunch of C rated players who should be a golden generation. Youth Intake: Solid intake with a lot of fast wide players with high potential and decent personalities. A golden generation for such a small island, and even more important WE FINALLY GOT A CD PROSPECT. Still not a world-beater, but we are desperate. Top Players: Spoiler You’ll notice speed as a theme this year, and I am very happy with that. I’ll start with the two lower-end prospects who both have really good acceleration (16 & 17) with some okay other abilities. Both will need focus training defensively if they are going to play in the midfield. Then we have our CD. He’s not fantastic but has the base ingredients to be a competent CB especially if he can bump up to Resolute and develop properly. Helps as I currently have one 31 and 27 year old CB, with only 3 U23s so we need fresh blood. Favorite of the intake is this fast fit professional talent. Yes everything else sucks, but you get this guy minutes and focus train Attacking movement and his speed alone will make him good for us. Screenshots Moved to IMGUR due to DataLimits: https://imgur.com/a/pbXk3ZG Nation Tracking: In what was probably way more work than it was worth (especially for a non-foreign nation like Barbados), I fully automated the Nation tracking. I didn't do the sort by count yet, but will for next year. Spoiler Excel Tables: Spoiler Its shown up in the main squad, but there is a noticeable higher Ambitious players than Professional players in my intakes, which is uncommon for saves I do. I equate this to my leaning towards Model Citizen / Perfectionist coaches over almost exclusively Resolute / Professional coaches. Seems I missed a player this year, but data should still be accurate. Interesting its very tight for the Top 5 players, though there is no standout star. Hopefully this translates to some good squad depth to support the breakout stars from previous years. Full Wheel of Personalities. Barbados National Team: It was a nothing year of only friendlies as World Cup Qualifiers are in October. Will update next year with how things go, can Barbados make it to their 3rd World Cup!?! Road View Internationals: I did some backend work on these tables, so they finally are sorted by CAPs and the Youth table will automatically exclude all players who have at least 1 Main Cap. You'll notice we have our first foreign international with our 17 Year Old DM H Copeland opting to go with his native Guyana, who are a very minor national team. Barbados Main: Spoiler Barbados Youth: Spoiler Summary This year we really had a chance at our first final, and just couldn't get it over the line. Still, we are hitting above our weight, which I guess is all I can ask for until we finally develop a high-quality defensive line. Next year will be our final best year to complete the challenge with this generation, as in 2057 we will not be entered into the NACL due to losing the cup. I have a number of 30-year-old players right now and more at 28 with I'd say 50% of my starters in that older age bracket. Previous Post: 2038/39 Season Report Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Scottish League One League: We actually should have finished comfortably inside the playoffs, but we had a very uncharacteristically poor end to the season, picking up 1 win in the last 5, including to both Queen's Park and Forfar which meant we finish slap bang in the middle of the table. I'm pretty disappointed with this season as we've actually managed to keep all the players, with our midfield and striker all being quite good League 1 standard. We're struggling for that next step though, moving up 1 division technically in 15 seasons is a bit of a slog, but we aren't going backwards at least. Just forwards. Veeeeery slowly. Youth Intake: Bit of an average intake here - nice bit of centre midfield depth here though. Not actually that much to add here - Frimpong had a very solid season, but due to international games he probably played far too much and was too tired towards the end of the year.

Popular Post fries
Sky Bet League One 2030/31 (season 7) Season Summary A picture is worth a thousand words: WE WON THE LEAGUE! But goddamn it was close in the end. 3 teams with 90 points and 6 within 3 points. It also did not help that we did not manage to get a win in the final 4 games of the season. But in the end, we won because of our great goal difference. We scored a lot of goals. More than 3 per game on average. However, we also conceded a ton. We probably need to fix the defense before next season. Maybe a 3-4-3 (with wide midfielders, 3 strikers, and no wingbacks) will not work in the Championship. The primary front trio Karakas, Frederick, and Morris all had a great season with 26, 28, and 27 goals respectively. Karakas was really great with most assists too. Sometimes he plays like a lower-league Messi. Baba Asanta, my top scorer from the previous seasons, was unfortunately injured a lot this season and thus only scored 6 goals. Jamerson, however, a young striker from the intake of last year, had a wonderful debut season. He scored 20 goals, which is very promising for the seasons to come. The youth intake preview was a bit disappointing. Only 4 stars and C was the highest rating. The actual intake was also okay, maybe also a bit disappointing. The most promising players are Santangelo and Burton. They are, however, both strikers. A position where I already have four star quality players and 3 promising players with potential. On the last day of the January transfer window, Nottingham Forrest bid for one of my players. The finances were in red and the projections did not look good too. So in the end I accepted the bid. Cardines was gone. Cardines was one of two options, that rotated on the left midfielder position. However, he was not a star player. I though it was better to save the finances be selling him, instead of a star player. I had no other transfers of significance. I had a few loan-outs. Finances and Upgrades With the money from the Cardines transfer, I had the opportunity to start upgrading the training facilities for the first time in this save. We also started to upgrade the youth facilities. Next season Next season, I just hope to avoid relegation.

Unsurprisingly, we ended in the lower bracket when the league split, but at least we finished top of that bracket. The goal was only to avoid relegation, and we did that by some distance. The main issue for us this season is that we conceded way too many goals, but it's not really a surprise, when most of the talents we've had come through have been in the attacking area. Hopefully, we can continue to avoid going down, and that some good defenders come through soon enough. JD Welsh Cup: We beat Llanidloes and Ton Pentre before we lost to Colwyn Bay in the 4th round. Popular Post PandaQC
Minebea Mitsumi FC (Japan) - Season 2 - 2025 With the same players and same tactic that we used last year in J3 League, our team crushed the J2 League. We were on top early, and never looked back. This was a good surprised. I have the feeling that there is not a big gap in level between japanese divisions, at least between J2 and J3. I think the reason is that sponsors money is comparable. Anyways, we are promoted to J1 League ! Three young players players promoted last year from the youth academy were part of the rotation. J2 League results Spoiler Youth intake I am a bit disappointed by this promotion. One of the most promising youngsters - Kijima 25.2 - is a left back. My best player from the past promotion was also a left back. I would rather have a player at another position. The other player with potential - Inamoto 25.1 - is a striker with poor physical attributes (171cm, pace=4, jumping reach=4, agility=4, strenght=3...). Technical attributes are OK but I am not sure it will be sufficient in J1 League. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Finances and facilities This is a MAJOR problem. Board has started to build a 17M euros stadium last year. The club is in debt. Finances are insecure. Because of this the board has rejected every single ask to improve facilities. My youth recruitment is still at 1... Worse, the stadium to be built is a 10 000 seats stadium while the minimum requirement of J1 League is 15 000 seats... Meaning that we are in financial difficulties for a stadium which is not even compliant with J1 League rules... If I cannot improve my facilities quickly I won't be able to get decent youth intakes. What a nightmare. Only hope is a takeover. There are rumours of potential offers. But nothing concrete yet. We desperately need someone to inject money in our club at that point. Spoiler Squad Spoiler Transfers Spoiler Next year preview Top priority is to avoid relegation for sure. Then I hope a takeover will take place and some mony injected in the club so that we can improve facilities. Popular Post tobiahabramson
Macclesfield Town FC Vanarama National League Season 5 2028-29 Results League: 13th Place FA Cup Second Qualifying Round: Loss 0-1 v. Coggeshall Town (Isthmian North) FA Trophy Second Round: Win 6-2 v. Stafford (Northern Premier League) Third Round: Loss 2-2 (p) v. Hartlepool (National League) Season Overview Well, I didn't get fired.... A first year back in National League North after a disappointing relegation last season. It started off decently strong into the middle of the season, with a few weeks even spent in first place of the league. After looking like we would finish in the playoff spots, we had a dreadful 5 game losing streak to end the season, which led us to finishing in 13th place. Macclesfield still has yet to go on a decent cup run, crashing out of the FA Cup to a mid-level 8th tier team and only winning 1 game in the FA trophy. This year alot of our youth players really stepped up into first team roles, with only one regular starting player (our GK) an OG who started the save with Macclesfield. Our defence continues to leak like it was made of swiss cheese, but with decent offensive output we seem a decent challenge to most teams in the division. I ran this year mostly a 3-4-3 or a 3-4-1-2 with decent success, I will probably keep it for another season, but am thinking of trying out a 4-4-2 countering system as my WBs are generally not great. After the relegation, my top performers all became unhappy and wanted to leave. If we lost these 4 or 5 players I would certainly be out of a job, so I took a hard stance and told them they wouldn't be going anywhere. I have them all tied up for at least 1 more season, with a few having 1 year extensions available to me. If I don't earn promotion, I fear I will lose most of them. I am hesitant to sell them, and as my team actually have solid finances owing to the highest average attendance in the league (4,300), I think I would rather get another good year of football out of them then a few hundred thousand. That being said, their unhappiness is certainly affecting the locker room so I have more to think about. This year's squad Player of the year was Striker/AMC Robert Bolton, primarily playing as a PF on support. He spent the year last year on Loan and with great development earned a spot in the first team squad, immediately producing great numbers despite in 5 finishing stat. Other important players include our GK O'Keefe who had some great game-saving stops, as well as our other two strikers Dean Whelan (who was predicted by the media to finish top scoring, a prediction which didn't come to fruition) and Davide Santangelo, our lead goal scorer with 15 goals in the league. Spoiler On other exciting news, we had our first player with a national team call up, with left back/centre back Alex Cunningham getting a cap for the Wales U19 team Youth Intake A mixed bag of a youth intake honestly. We had 3 elite players come in, and several players with poor personalities in the mix. Spoiler I forgot to take a shot of the actual intake... Elite Players: Our board has improved our coaching and facilities, but still refuses to invest in improving the youth level. We had a few fun international intakes from the carribean which was interesting: Edited November 26, 2023 by tobiahabramson
Popular Post Scraborn
Season #5 2028-2029 with Macclesfield FC is done The 5th year was the worst year so far and we ended up as 11th in the Vanarama national north. Again we made it to the first proper round in the FA Cup but we were eliminated right in the second round of the FA Trophy. The board wanted us to avoid relegation so no harm is done. This was the first season we only used youthplayers and attacking wise it was a success but our bad defending of our own goal crippled all effords to get a better finish. Something we need to work on in the next years. Yet again we overcome the media prediction of becoming 20th by a lot. Andrew Tierney managed to become the top goalscorrer in the league and to get the best player award. This season we had a nice intake but in my opinion the last intakes were better not in quality but in personalities of the players but I wont complain. Some players realy improved over the season and are more and more valuable for the team. Lets take a look at some of my keyplayers this year. Andrew hat another brilliant season for us. He managed to score 37 goals right after he scorred onother 16 during the preseason. Finaly we were able to offer him a new contract with a big payraise and some clauses but I want to keep him atleast for one or two years. But he has some League 2 clubs interested in him and if they try to sign him they have to pay. Overall he was our best player with decent rating across the whole year. Next up we have John Paul Croft. He is the best defender of this team and a natural born leader so next season he will pick up the captains armband and hopefully stabilize our defence. With his professional aditute he will influence some of the other youngsters in his mentoring group. He can play almost everywhere in our back four but I see him clearly as a CB. Lovely that he has no weakfoot and can play LCB or RCB whover I pair him up with. Next season he needs to stepup with his technical game and become faster. Josh joind us with the intake of last season and claimed himself the spot as our starting LB. He develloped well in his first year of senior football and I hope to push him even further. Next season he should become more influential in our attacking play and deliver more assists. This years intake brought in a handfull of good players with Alejandro beeing the best of the bunch. He was signed for the first team right away and will get some game time here and there in the next season and if he adopts well he will become a regular in no time. Over the summer he will be out to compete in the U20 Worldcup for the US team. He also could play for Spain. The U18 again won there youthleague by a clear of 26 points. 24/25 6th - lost playoff semifinal against Spennymoore Town 0:2 25/26 9th 26/27 6th - lost playoff first round against Altringcham FC 0:1 27/28 8th 28/29 11th Time for some progress in season 6. See you after season 6 maybe I figured out how to integrate Exel files into the text untill then Good Luck Guys Edited November 26, 2023 by Scraborn format
Popular Post bpecanha
Villa Española - First Update Hello! I'll be starting with Villa Española in the Uruguayan 2nd tier. They were founded in 1952 and play in Obdulio Jacinto Varela stadium, with 3.7k capacity. Villa Española played in the First Division recently, in 2021 - they had back to back relegations, however. I have already played pre-season games and also had our first youth intake. I'm going to show the highlights below. My profile: Current squad: Best players: Spoiler Tactics: We've been playing like this so far. Firstly, I've tried to use two half backs and two WCBs in support role. Our tactical shape was similar to what I thought first, but I felt that the team lacked numbers in attack, so I have switched to this more straightforward version. We are conceding a lot of chances, but also creating a lot, so overall I'm quite pleased right now. As you can see in the screenshot below, our preseason went quite well. First two games were against lower league opposition, I think we were unlucky in both of them, specially against Unión de Durazno: they had two shots and scored three goals! That's when I've switched tactics to this one in the screenshot, and the team got more balanced after that. We won our rivals Cerrito and beat Cerro, a team of our division. YOUTH INTAKE: I forgot to take a screenshot of all 16 players, but there are 11 players that I have signed: Nothing to be really excited here, but I really like Martín Díaz and Guillermo Sosa, they both were already promoted to the first team. Díaz is going to be one of our options to the DM roles; Sosa is being retrained to ML and is going to be the imediate replacement to Alan Olivera. Nahuel Lima and Matías Suárez are also good, but their personalities (Casual and Unambitious) are really bad, so I'm keeping them in the U19s right now. I also brought some staff with me, and my best addition so far was the signing of Brazilian HoYD René Simões. As a Brazilian, I know him really well, he's an experienced manager and even managed my club IRL. But the best thing is that he's a Model Citizen, so hopefully this is going to increase our chances of getting a great intake next year. Facilities and finances: Spoiler
