mehesa
16 hours ago, mehesa said: Békéscsabai Előre FC - Season4 (2027/28) Season results: I was a bit afraid of our first season in the first division and it did not start well with 2 draws and 2 losses (+ no wins in the pre-season friendlies), but then the team woke up with a 9-match unbeaten run and the youngsters started to believe in themselves. We did not stop until the 3rd place for the winter break and even reached the 2nd place with 3 wins after the break. But then we lost a lot of stability in midfield with the injury of Kuzma (I did know that he is a good player, but maybe underestimated his importance and impact) and a 5-match streak without a win dropped us back to 5th place. We made a rhapsodic finish, and still had a chance in the last round for a UEFA Conference League position, but it wasn't to be this time (we should win away against champions Ferencváros and hope for Újpest to lose at home against mid-table team Nyíregyháza). Anyway, I am happy with the 5th place in a season we were expected to be relegated. In cup we weren't really successful, but tbh it wasn't a good draw: Győr was the hardest pick from the second division (promoted by the end of season). Reveal hidden contents Transfers: There were no 'player in' movements, of course. Some of the not used youngsters went on loan, and we managed to sell one of the talents (Ádám Németh from class 2026) who was not in the best 3 in his position and really wanted to leave. It was not the first offer I accepted, but maybe could ask for higher fee for him. Reveal hidden contents Key players: Boldizsár Borbély was our top goalscorer again with 20 total in the season, he also won the league's Top Goalscorer award (with 19 goals in league). This season we had no average ratings above 7.0, the 4 best players who made at least 6.9 were the striker Borbély (20 goals, 1 assist), the right winger Máris (5 goals, 8 assists), the centerback Fazekas (3 goals, 1 assist) and the midfielder Váradi (7 goals, 8 assists). From our home grown players I can highlight Mag (class 2026) again who growth to be my first-choice left-winger, but I found for him a competitor in János Batik (class 2027) who was a great sub in the season finish. I am really proud of the development of centerback Krisztián Katona (class 2026) who had to step in as regular starter when all originated centerbacks left except Fazekas, and he shows a decent performance (6.73 last and 6.69 this season). My striker Zalán Horváth (class 2027) played really good as sub and scored 3 goals. Reveal hidden contents Youth intake: We had a really good preview, especially on defensive front, and it was right... The club received 5 elite talents (it was 6 originally, but Tamás Németh was later re-evaluated as Top talent). However, I am not so happy about the personalities this time. My favorites are Ronald Juhász (GK) and József Boér (DMC) from different reasons: Juhász is a good to have talented keeper, since it seems our current first-choice goalie Czinanó does not want to renew his contract. Our backup, Grünvald (class 2025) was promising occasionally, but I am afraid that he won't be the level we need. Let's see how the season starts... but it is a comforting thought that we have a talent on the bench. In the previous intakes we lacked elite talents for the midfield, so I am happy with Boér. And also, he seems to be the most promising from the current set of new players. Reveal hidden contents Club progress: The first season was a good starting point in Division 1, but I am a little sad about the missed opportunity for the international football. We would need the money for the facilities which I could not upgrade this season. Reveal hidden contents The board expects us to fight against relegation, but I want to target the international spots to inject some finances into the club. But it will be a rough challenge, since 2 of my key players - right wing Máris and keeper Czinanó - will leave by the end of the season. But I have faith in my youngsters... I forgot to mention additionally two things I was really proud of this season: I almost received the Head Coach of the Season award. Finished second only 39 points behind the champions Ferencváros Head Coach. Our U19 Team won the U19 National League confidently 2 games before the end. We have great talent for the future not only in the first team, but behind them... Spoiler
Popular Post resurectedja
This post will be more interesting to lurkers, like I once was. I went back and looked at every single newgen that I got in my completed Merthyr Town save. I tracked every apperance by every player to figure out just how good every single generation was. A pleasant surprise all in all. I only had 3 seasons in close to 30 that didn't produce players who actually made first team appearances. Ignoring the first season, I had 4 generations that made over 1000 appearances for the club, with two being under 20 games shy of that mark.
Popular Post JLAB
AFC Telford United - Season 3 After a tricky start to the season, when we picked up just 1 point from our opening eight games, I decided to change my formation partway through the season, and it worked. It's an improvement from last season, and we only missed out on the playoffs by three points and a three-goal difference. The changes weren't even that dramatic in all irony. The only things that changed were the formation and some player roles. Some of the players in the starting lineup I will introduce you to later. I completed my Continental B Licence this season. I am studying for my Continental A Licence. The latest youth intake happened, and I was super excited. Until I saw all of the players' personalities coming through, and my excitement died like a balloon that was being burst. My backroom staff is most excited about Julle Mayele, but unfortunately, he lacks belief in himself despite his ability. He feels like a project that we can work on. Denis Malone-Slevin is a player that excites me. He can be the playmaker I have been after for a while, which for our new formation is essential for the cause. Nathan Sadler adds to the strength we are building in the left-winger role. His good physical ability perfectly matches the role he will play for my team. If Denis Malone-Slevin was the playmaker I wanted, then Abel Lukman was the mezzala I wanted. Yes, his game has a few flaws, but we can help him develop in those areas. If only he weren't so inconsistent. Junior Etim is a fantastic player to have. Playing on both wings in the defensive third is very useful for this level, and I hope he can thrive under my wing. Dan Atkinson is the best right-back on the team. Which is a concerning sentence to write out, but at the same time, I am excited. His consistency needs work, and I'd like more ambition, but he works hard and has good attributes across the board. Ìlyas Tosun is a goalkeeper that can take us to the top. He had competition for his spot, but if we can iron out his flaws, we have an outstanding talent for this level. I convinced the board to increase our junior coaching. Arbroath approached me at the beginning of the season for a job interview. Later in the season, Dundee United approached me for a job interview. I've been in charge of Telford United for over 150 games now. We're slowly getting worse in the FA Trophy, but we always do well in the FA Cup. Our defence was worse than last season, but I realised that we needed to change formation to suit the team's players. Can we challenge for the playoffs again next season? However we could not keep up that pace and a run of 6 games without a win saw us tumble down the table. We have arrested the slide with a win to be in 10th position. Our best player has been RB Cristian Marquez who has 7 goals and 4 assists in the 19 games Pep Pinto 25j has been given plenty of game time and played okay at either CM or CAM.
Popular Post XaW
XaW - Marine FC - Season 2025/26 (Season 2) - Vanarama National League Squad | Transfers | Finances After the surprising promotion last season, my hopes for anything more than survival was few and far between. However, we had an excellent start to the season winning our first 3 matches. From then on we played well and were the surprise package in the fight for a promotion playoff spot for a lot of the season. It took all the way until late January before we hit a snag. However, when it hit, it hit bad! During a 16 match run between late January and the end of March we only won 2 matches and lost the majority of the rest. Of course, it meant we dropped out of the playoffs and slid down into the middle of the table. We got a few wins towards the end of the season to lighten it up, but it still felt like we had lost out. Don't get me wrong, I'd taken a 10th spot at the start of the season, so it was a good one, but still. The reason was mostly linked to fitness. The first team is rather good, but most of the youth players were not ready for a big role this season. Of course, it helped when we had a good youth intake, but that didn't come until early April. We also had a great cup run, so overall it was a very productive season for us. FA Cup: We beat Macclesfield before we lost to Mansfield in the 1st round. FA Trophy: We beat Chester, Weston-super-Mare, Wealdstone, South Shields, and Chippenham to reach the final. There we faced Eastleigh, who had just won the promotion playoff. In a very close game, we edged it by scoring the only goal of match halfway into the first half. Then we held on and shut up shop the 2nd half to claim our first cup win! Best players from the academy: David Overton 25a - Our first choice goalkeeper had a good season. Conceded quite a bit, but he did his part. Rakeem Hughes-Mason 26e - Came through and got his debut shortly after where he scored two goals, so I kept him on for a few more and he did well. Will probably be first choice next season already! Charlie Rowlands 26c - Only got two sub appearances, but played well in both. New club records: Most goals in a match - Manassé Mampala - 4 goals Most goals in a league match - Manassé Mampala - 4 goals Most clean sheets in a season - David Overton 25a - 11 clean sheets Most league apps - Jordan Lussey -162 apps Most league goals - Manassé Mampala - 53 goals Youngest goalscorer - Rakeem Hughes-Mason 26e - 15 years, 273 days Got a few more upgrades accepted this season. Popular Post libbyshuss
Lyra Lierse - Belgium (2053/54) Pro Jupiler League - Winners! We're now the best side in Belgium, and it shows! In the league stage we were imperious. win after win after win, it was brilliant. we finished so far ahead we went into the Champions Group stage a massive 9 points ahead. 1 win in 5 games later, with Anderlecht winning all their 5, we were second a point behind! luckily we responded brilliantly and wrapped up the title beating Anderlecht 3-2 in the last game of the season Croky Cup - Runners Up We sleepwalked into the final, had a really easy game, took our eye off the ball and somehow lost it 1-0. Champions League This is the big one! Being runners up last season we had to qualify for the league stage which we managed with fairly minimal fuss. The league stage was a mixed bag but we again managed it fairly comfortably. Rennes are a really good side at the moment and were just a little bit too strong for us sadly. Players So I started giving Sam Straetman 51A a few games. He looks great and can play in 3 positions (AML, AMC and S) which is hugely helpful. And he was great! Future wonderkid i reckon! Youth I got an elite talent! which, at this stage, is nuts!!! Career
Popular Post Sdp9511
End-of-Season Review Season 2037/38 Le Puy Season Summary- We won the league, after 9 seasons in the second division. We were near the top for most of the season but only got into first place on the second to last day. Being one point ahead of 2nd and 3rd place we had to win the next game to make sure we would win the league title. So of course we decided to concede 3 goals in 12 minutes and ended up losing the game 4-0. Was probably one of the worst games I had seen my team play that season, but it ended up not mattering as Paris FC and Nantes bottled their games. We also did extremely well in the cup losing to Monaco in the Semis, we were able to avoid any Ligue 1 teams until the Semis. Transfers- Yet again thought I wasn't going to lose anybody important this season until the board decided to yet again an offer for one of our players. Our backup RB was sold to RSC Anderlecht (again) for 4.6 million. I thought that he would be the last one as the money that we got from that transfer was decent, but the board accepted on offer for Clinton Nkem. One of our best players and young prospects, I was able to block the offer. But to keep him safe from Club Brugge and to make sure he would make it to next season with an improved contract, I decided to loan him out for the rest of the season. I am slowly getting sick and tired of the board deciding on which deals "are two good not to take". This is what the interest in my team looked like before the start of the January transfer window Youth Candidates- This youth intake wasn't as good as it seemed like it was going to be. We got another GK as one of our top talents, but he is worse. The RB is equally disappointing. The only one who truly seems like a guaranteed future starter in our team is Bertrand Masson, who is not much worse than our current fringe/impact subs. Key Players POTS- Ousmane Tine was our POTY with 11 goals and 10 assists from 26 games. His tally could have been a lot higher if it wasn't for the fact he injured his cruciate ligament with 4 games left in the season. Top Scorer- Houssem Omrani finished as our top scorer for the second season in a row, he finished 5th in the league with 16 goals and 6 assists. While I don't think he was our best striker this season, he was the most effective in front of goal. YPOTY- Alfonso Alves has become a starter in the last two seasons, playing as a CDM his stats are way better than I had expected from him. Scoring 8 times (with 4 finishing) and assisting 7 was impressive. Best new youngster- we had one player make it to the first team from last season's youth intake, Maxime Carrence made 10 appearances for the first team and has shown the potential to become a bigger presence in the first team Career Record After Season Played Won Drawn Lost Goals For Goals Against Goal Difference Win Percentage Time At Club ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2024/25 37 12 13 12 64 62 -2 32.0% 328 days 2025/26 74 32 23 19 133 104 29 43.0% 730 days 2026/27 111 37 33 41 168 171 -3 33.0% 1074 days 2027/28 148 53 45 50 230 220 10 35.0% 1431 days 2028/29 192 77 57 58 313 271 42 40.0% 1816 days 2029/30 232 90 65 77 380 353 27 38.0% 2181 days 2030/31 269 101 72 96 428 416 12 37.0% 2550 days 2031/32 305 111 78 116 480 493 -13 36.0% 2903 days 2032/33 341 124 86 131 548 554 -6 36.0% 3298 days 2033/34 379 138 94 147 621 624 -3 36.0% 3652 days 2034/35 419 157 100 162 697 688 9 37.0% 3999 days 2035/36 457 169 111 177 764 755 9 36.0% 4356 days 2036/37 494 187 118 189 834 813 21 37.0% 4723 days 3037/38 535 212 126 197 938 870 68 39.0% 5093 days Transfer Sale Record Date Player Position Club Sold To Country Transfer Fee --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1/9/2037 Fares Jaballah 11A RB RSC Anderlecht Belgium 4,600,000 (7,000,000) 15/8/2034 Rudy Lenourmand 8A CDM/CB RSC Anderlecht Belgium 4,700,000 (6,000,000) 31/1/2031 Abdelkader Belhadj 4c CDM Club Brugge Belgium 1,700,000 (2,300,000) 02/02/2037 Salvador Zounon 10L RW Lorient France 1,400,000 (1,700,000) Trophy Haul Season Competition Won -------------------------- 2037-2038 Ligue 2 Record Number of Appearances (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Appearances ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2023-present Gilles Comte 394 2025-present Andreas Kruger 353 2024-present Goran Grahovac 344 2025-present Ousmane Tine 333 2026-present Olivier Penot 278 Record Goal Scorer (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Goals ------------------------------------------------------------------- 2025-present Andreas Kruger 132 2025-present Ousmane Tine 60 2026-present Kevin Toure 54 2024-present Goran Grahovac 38 2032-present Houssem Omrani 32 Record Number of Assists (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Assists ----------------------------------------------------------------- 2025-present Ousmane Tine 66 2023-present Gilles Comte 46 2024-present Goran Grahovac 44 2025-present Andreas Kruger 39 2026-present Olivier Penot 33 Record Number of Clean Sheets (Players From The Academy Only) All time Player Number of Clean sheets ---------------------------------------------------------------- 2027-present Kevin Labonne 19 2032-present Abdoul Soro 1 Edited April 13 by Sdp9511

Mahzun_Savas
C.F. Badalona Season 2 End of Season Report and Youth Intake Review Solid enough with some promise Segunda Federacion - Group I It was an up and down second half to the season with bad form causing us to slip down the table before 5 wins in a row in February and March took us to the edge of the playoff spots. That run was stopped and back down the table we went to finish in 12th position. Overall a great first season following our promotion in the first season. Youth Intake Review Preview was not good at all, I just hoped the reality would be better than the preview. The intake was better than preview but not as good as I would like it to be The only elite talent and therefore the star of the intake Emili Almirall was given 3 games at the end of the season at CAM, which he is more than a CM. He did exceptionally well to score 1 goal and have 2 assists with an average rating of 7.30. It would be great if he can come straight into the team and fill a position where I have been struggling to find someone who does well enough. My Profile Unfortunately I have only been able to undertake one course due to the financial situation of the club so there has been only a small improvement to my stats. Rainbowz
Douglas Athletic 2027-28 Season Preview After a solid if slightly middling first season in the Premier League, we're now tasked for a higher finish with a much stronger squad. We're definitely not the strongest team in this division yet, but our recent intake massively improved the quality we have available, so I'm aiming high and seeing where we get. Transfers: Facilities/Coaching: Our first facility upgrade! Our youth facilities are getting upgrades, which will hopefully help with future upgrades. My board rejected a training ground upgrade though, and STILL won't increase our youth recruitment. Not to 4th wall break, but does anyone know if there's an issue around this? It seems weird my board will improve everything else, but in 3-4 seasons haven't once agreed to a youth recruitment upgrade. Season Preview: We're predicted to finish up in 4th, a huge leap from our 11th place last season. I think we can go better though. Peel have been massive underperformers despite their ability to attract foreign talent, and the only real title threat are St Mary's, or Corinthians on a good day. I'm aiming for top 3, but we'll see how things go. Friendly Results: An okay pre-season where we really tested ourselves against some stronger teams. The fact we're taking goals off and holding our own against some decent English League 2/Conference teams is a sign of our progress. European Results: We got drawn against Linfield, probably the strongest team in Northern Ireland. We put up a fight, but they were just too good for us. The result gives me confidence that with the right draw and some better players, we can have a stab at Europe one day soon. We earned around £350,000 for our efforts, which I'll seek to get immediately invested into our facilities. Starting XI: Levy Bates - Curley - Gasson - Ellis Wharton - Treleaven Pickford - Goulding - Hamilton Livingstone Our team is once again bolstered by a strong intake last year, seeing players shuffled around as the new generation takes their place. I think if we get a good start and avoid major injuries, we have a strong chance of a really good finish, maybe even a title challenge if other teams underperform.
Popular Post glennuk
Rein Meer AKA ReinBerg - Season 29 - Japan J1 League - End of Season Review & Youth Intake League - 5th The league doesn't matter as much anymore and as we focused on the Champions League (losing in the Final) our League position was always disappointing. We are already in this seasons champions League (see below) and have a chance in qualifying for next seasons Champions League as we are in the final of the All Japan Cup, for the first ever time. All Japan Cup We got to our first ever final and it was a tense affair. We were the better team but conceded a late goal . In Extra time we knocked on the door again, but nothing came of it. Luckily after missing the first penalty our other four penalty takers hit the mark, where as two of Urawas takers had tame penalties which resulted in Naoto Sakai (YP23A) being the hero of the day with two strong saves. Champions League Group Stages We once again got Ulsan in our group and this time they did take a game away from us. So not the perfect group stage but certainly a very good one. We will play FC Seoul in the first knockout round The Squad No big changes in the starting eleven, but look at those average ratings. For a team that ended up in 5th that isn't bad at all. Youth Intake No one really special in the intake apart from Ryuga Nishiguchi Other News Our U18s retained the U!8 League comfortably Edited April 14 by glennuk

Popular Post Neo_Geo
SQUAD | TACTICS | SCHEDULE United in near logic defying season There are some seasons where you can't explain the events unfolding before your eyes, sometimes you suffer a terrible run of results after a great start and find yourself fighting for your job and sometimes your squad manages to punch well above its weight. Season 3 for Crewe United was fortunately the latter with a 4th place finish missing out on the Premiership play-off by 3 points (having been sitting in 2nd on the final day of the season on goal difference). I wanted safety and got far more than I had anticipated and was actually top for a week or two until Bangor found their purple patch and rocketed up the league. The games came thick and fast towards the end of the season and my squad doesn't have the quality in depth so having to rotate my 4/5 star defence for 2 and 1.5 star deputies it just wasn't to be. The league wasn't the only crazy story of the season. In the Clearerwater Irish Cup first round I got drawn away to Clitfonville for the second year running which was great for the balance as it added about £20k but this year I managed to get through taking them to extra time, nicking a goal in the first 4 minutes of extra time and then holding out to claim an historic victory. Lady luck was again on my side for the draws as I drew Armagh from the division below then Bangor and Dundela from the Championship. Ultimately we made the final to play against Larne who had finished second, I wasn't sure if this meant I'd get the Conference League spot from the cup even if I lost but to make the final was just incredible. 0-0 at 22 minutes Sloan Y1-A at right back lifted the ball over the Larne defence with my right winger Williams Y2-A bearing down on goal to the right of centre. It was a chance that HAD to be taken if I wanted any chance of success......the ball cannoned off the keeper and the defence cleared their lines. 3 minutes later Larne break through with an almost identical chance, ball lifted over and the midfielder (this time to the left of centre) slammed the ball into the far corner. 3 minutes later a corner to Larne was headed clear to the edge of the box where Bonis hits an unstoppable half volley in off the bar. I made a few tweaks to not concede any more by half time which were successful and I could then make some subs at half time and change it up and get some more energy. 5 minutes after coming on Daniel Anderson Y3-A in defensive midfield got sent off for a two footed lunge about 35 yards from goal. The adventure was over and Larne added another two to the scoreline which did NOT flatter them and for that reason I'm quite content being in the Championship for another season. Club News Spoiler The club reputation has now increased to 1 and I was able to get a further improvement to junior coaching and youth recruitment as well as getting a much needed boost to my finances thanks to the cup final gate receipts share. The board once again sanctioned my coaching badge course as I study for the Continental A license. I haven't even bothered to ask about the training facilities yet as I'm sure it'll get shot down without the ability to convince them. Youth Intake Spoiler A really great intake this year with two players ready for first team football (with Williams Y3-A completing the back four), a good DC understudy and a promising MC that I will no doubt be retraining to a DM. I also had my first fully foreign player in Ville Lehtinen Y3-A. The personality mix isn't great but with the HoYD I have (Balanced) I can't really expect an intake like some have been getting recently I've finally sussed an easy way to get the figures for appearances and goals so it'll make it much smoother in the future but here are the records currently. WhittneY1-A had a decent season by after Mark McCullough left at the end of last season I needed another forward and PJ Ferguson Y1-A made the move from left wing to left side of a front two and has managed to bag 11 goals this season. Porter Y1-A has been my penalty taker hence his inclusion in the list (he has had a few from corners too). Admin Spoiler Once again little to report on transfers out and as ever no transfers in Next Season Spoiler I'm expecting a transitional year with the retirement of Mark Shannon, the deterioration of Taggart (LB), McMullan (AML) and Hynes (DMC) I will need to put my faith in the youth for these positions (fine for left back as my new LB can slot in straight away). I have 5 of the original 16 squad members left and realistically only 3 of them are likely to be here at the start of season 5. Sharvin is the only player that is performing to a high enough standard to keep on for the next few years, the others have to be phased out and let go. I'd settle for a boring mid-table finish this season and doing ok in the cups, the squad is definitely not ready for the top division yet.

Neo_Geo
So my new captain, Dean Sloan Y1-A, who is now a decent Premiership level player had some interest from Crusaders in the summer window and kicked up a stink. Due to the nature of the clubs status I can only offer 6 months for a players new contract if I offer it around the turn of the year (when they can be approached as they are in their last 6 months). So I've had to look to build in extensions and Sloans from the season before had triggered to take him to 2028. Approaching the January window I decided that he was just going to leave as Glentoran were also interested so I offered him for £20k and 25% of next sale. Glentoran met this and I accepted and gave Crusaders an ultimatum and they refused at which point Sloan said he was happy to stay at the club because Crusaders were no longer interested (even though he could get a deal with Glentoran). I immediately offered him a new deal and..... I think its the first time I've actually managed to achieve this

I don't have pics, but I also had in my Hungarian Békéscsaba youth challenge a match against stronger opponent (Fehérvár as I remember) where they scored from their first 4 shots on target within the first 20 mins... (and the 4 goals came from 1 penalty, 2 shots bounced on my defenders and the 4th goal was a one of a lifetime shot from outside the box) I was luckier though, because they were satisfied with that start and it remained 0-
Mahzun_Savas
C.F. Badalona Midseason Report Primera Federacion - Group I We had a very good start to the season going 10 games unbeaten and being top after 11 games. However indifferent form since then has seen us fall down the table to 6th, one spot outside the playoffs. While it would be good to make the playoffs for experience I do not think the team is ready to be promoted. We have the best attack in the league but one of the worst defences despite having a number of 0-0 draws. Among my best players is 23 year Ibuki Nemoto who plays on the left wing. His 5 goals and 7 assists have been excellent for us. Timofey Neshtukov has been very good in his first season as our main striker with 11 goals from 13 starts and 6 sub appearances. Toni Larossa has been our best player. I initially started him as our striker but moved him back to the RW and his 5 goals and 8 assists have been very important to our success. The star of last years intake 16 year old Emili Almirall 26a has played every game as my CAM and down very well with 6 goals and 3 assists. He looks to have a huge future for us. 18 year old Oscar was a youngster when I joined the club and he has developed brilliantly to be the player my staff rate as our best player. He can play on the left wing but I play him as my CM and he has been very good Youth Intake Preview Total disaster of a preview. Popular Post Padders
Season 95- 2117/18 - PL So as posted above, we had a playoff to see who was relegated. Ron_Swanson
[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 32 - 2054 This time we're not so great with youngsters CA* but I can see a nice versatile defender Jonsson plus a decent attacker Gustavsson Solid season finishing midtable with our players developing nicely. As mentioned in previous post we won Europa Conference League, quite lucky draws with opponents not from top leagues but it's still impressive result. Thanks to that win we got a place in Europa League group stage and we're doing even better, beating such a powerhouses like Tottenham or Red Bull Leipzig. Two more games next year so full report incoming next season. Karl-Johan Hallberg doing a lot of good work got recognized Stadium expansion finished with maxed out capacity of 10800, but with our rising reputation the board also agreed to build a new stadium right away. It's expected to be around 14000 seats and it still will be one of the smallest at this level. Many clubs got their modern stadiums throughout this career. Also our youth facilities were upgraded

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Marine FC - Season 2026/27 (Season 3) - Vanarama National League Squad | Transfers | Finances This season started as we did last season, we were winning matches. And with a few more youth players part of the team after the good intake last year, we had less issues with rotation, even if a few spots on the team were lacking quality backups. But when our first 8 matches included 7 wins and a draw it was apparent we were onto something big. And as the season progressed we stayed around the top spot, fighting with a few other teams. Along side this good league form, we had quite the run in the FA Cup too, so fixture congestion was a bit of an issue in January onwards. So we did have certain troubles there, but we overcame them pretty well. Going into the final matches of the season it seemed to be down to Rochdale or us for the top spot with us leading by a few points. However, we lost two matches to find ourselves level with them when both had 3 matches left. Both won the first two to go into the final match on equal points, but we had a slght advantage in goal difference. So essentially we had to equal whatever Rochdale did. They were away to an Altrincham side who was already relegated, while we faced a playoff bound Swindon at home. Luckily, one of our new players, Kevin Gallagher 27a, decided to have an amazing match for us, scoring and assisting in a very strong 3-0 win to clinch the title, and promotion to League Two! After the promotion was secured, we also finally turned professional, so things are looking promising for us now! And a few days later the board has decided to build a new stadium. FA Cup: We beat Hemel Hempstead, Mansfield, Chelmsford City, and Luton Town before we lost to Portsmouth in the 4th round. An excellent run that garnered in enough cash to allow an upgrade to our youth facilities! FA Trophy: We beat Rochdale and Aldershot Town before we lost to Swindon Town in the 5th round. Best players from the academy: Rakeem Hughes-Mason 26e - Our first choice striker this season and scored quite a lot of goals. David Overton 25a - A strong season from our main goalkeeper. Charlie Rowlands 26c - Started as a rotational option, but grew more and more into the first team as the season rolled on. New club records: None. Got a few more upgrades accepted this season.
